Neve Campbell Blames Ghastly 2010 Black Bikini Photos on Foot Injury

Movie star Neve Campbell was hurt and upset by the "shockingly mean" comments leveled at her when she stepped out in a black bikini on vacation last summer 2010, because a foot injury left her unable to work out.

The "Scream" star thought she looked great but was left aghast when the media took aim at her for daring to put on weight, and then strip off in Hawaii. Campbell says, "I had just gotten off the plane, I was bloated and PMS-ing [pre-menstrual tension], and I hadn't exercised in months because my foot was injured. There were comments like, 'She's no longer a Wild Thing'. It was horrible."

Pregnant actress Alyssa Milano has explained why she rushed to announce the sex of her unborn baby on Twitter, she wanted to reveal the gender herself after accidentally letting slip to a reporter. The "Charmed" star, who is expecting her first child with husband Dave Bugliari, took to the micro-blogging site earlier in March to reveal she is expecting a son.

But Milano admits she only let fans in on the secret after she accidentally revealed the gender while being quizzed by a journalist. Milano tells CNN host Piers Morgan, "Here's what happened, there's actually a legitimate story behind that. I had found out the gender of the baby a week before and I walked a red carpet about two days after I had found out the gender and I did an interview and I slipped and I called the baby a he..."

Eric Roberts Promotes GenMed for Free

Actor Eric Roberts has signed up to front a new TV campaign for medical aid group GenMed for free, because he feels the public should be aware it's getting ripped off by major drug companies and insurance firms. The "The Expendables" star, who is currently battling an addiction to marijuana, admits he's a big fan of GenMed's products and policy, and he believes all Americans should have access to affordable drugs.

He says, "(They want) to make medicines totally affordable for everybody of all ages in all places. They (drug companies) put a big label on it (medicine) and they overcharge out the kazoo, and GenMed make it possible for everybody to get everything that they need for affordable prices and that, to me, is a big deal."

James Franco and Danny McBride Break Up Street Fight With Eggs

James Franco and his "Your Highness" co-star Danny McBride helped to break up a street fight by throwing eggs at the attackers from an apartment window. The pair was filming on location in Belfast, Ireland, when rowdy bar patrons across the street from their apartment complex interrupted the actors' sleep. So the "Pineapple Express" stars took revenge by throwing eggs.

McBride explains, "Franco, Justin Theroux, all these other actors, the next night, everyone dressed up in black and we hid up in there (across the street from the bar). And we had a strict code, we weren't allowed to go after women and children; you couldn't get anybody who was going into the club, we didn't want to ruin anyone's night. It had to be someone who was misbehaving and when they would misbehave, they would be punished."

Adrianne Palicki has posed in the new "Wonder Woman" costume for the promotional picture and she is now running in it. The actress was spotted filming an action sequence on a crowded Los Angeles street on Tuesday, March 29, running on the sidewalk while her stuntwoman jumped on car hoods in pursuit of two men in white. Also on the set was Willam Belli who was dressed as Marilyn Monroe.

"Wonder Woman" began its three day shoot in Hollywood that day, Navigate Hollywood reported. Hollywood Boulevard between Orange Drive and Highland Avenue were closed overnight and Eastbound lanes were closed at 4 P.M. Three hours later, Westbound lanes were closed and all lanes were re-opened at 7 A.M. Wednesday.

Lindsay Lohan Cleared of Rehab Battery Charges

Lindsay Lohan has one less legal trouble off her sleeve. The Riverside County District Attorney has decided on Tuesday, March 29 not to pursue a possible assault charge against the "Machete" actress for the altercation she had with Dawn Holland, a worker at the Betty Ford clinic, back in December last year.

To People magazine, District Attorney spokesman John Hall explained that they are not filing any charges due to "insufficient evidence". The representative added, "It wasn't looked at any differently than other cases, and we didn't put any special priority on this. We also had to re-interview subsequent times several witnesses in the case."

'Madagascar' Penguins to Get Spin-Off

"Madagascar" penguins will have their own movie. After they stole the spotlight in the 2005 animated film and had their own TV series, "The Penguins of Madagascar", the four paramilitary penguins reportedly will appear in a spin-off feature based on the DreamWorks Animation series' popular penguins.

The Hollywood Reporter has reported that the untitled film will tell the story about the Antarctican penguins, Skipper, Kowalski, Private and Rico. "Megamind" screenwriters Alan J. Welsh Tenor Robert Tear Died

Welsh opera star Robert Tear has died at the age of 72. News of the veteran tenor's death was announced on Tuesday, March 29 but no more details were available as WENN went to press.

Tear studied as a chorister at Britain's famous King's College, Cambridge and went on to make his operatic debut for the English Opera Group in a 1966 production of Benjamin Britten's "The Turn of the Screw". He went on to perform all over the world and make hundreds of recordings, and he was made a Commander of the British Empire (CBE) in 1984. His last stage appearance was at London's Royal Opera House in Turandot, in 2009.

It seems that Batman will not be absent too long from big screen after Christopher Nolan ends his trilogy with "The Dark Knight Rises". Although the helmer has declared the upcoming movie will be his last Batman film, Warner Bros. has planned to reboot the franchise.

Chelsea Kane is not letting herself being entangled in a cocaine video scandal any longer. The Disney starlet, who previously went by the name of Chelsea Staub, has denied she is one of the two young women allegedly snorting cocaine in a short viral video as she set the record straight in a recent radio interview.

When the subject was brought up by "Mojo In The Morning" host, the "Jonas L.A." beauty replied, "That bums me out hardcore because it's not me, and the other girl that they're suggesting in the video is my co-star on the show Nicole Anderson." She added, "It's just such a bummer because our faces are pixilated and it's just so obvious that someone's trying to start some controversy."

'DWTS' Kicks Out Mike Catherwood on First Eliminations

Enrique Iglesias Sorry for Pulling Out of Britney's Tour Hours After Announcement

During a March 29 episode of "Good Morning America", Britney Spears announced she's going on a tour with Enrique Iglesias this summer. His representative dismissed the news hours later, clarifying that the "Hero" hitmaker won't hit the road with Britney "despite initial reports based on formal discussions of the possible run."

It seems that the announcement was made too early since Billboard reported the talks hadn't been done deal when Britney revealed the planned joint gig. Although the official statement from Enrique's camp didn't specify details of the dead-end negotiation, the publication suggested the initial plan was that he would serve as an opening act, but carry full production throughout the tour.

'Rope' Actor Farley Granger Has Passed Away

Hollywood veteran Farley Granger has died at the age of 85. The actor, best known for his collaborations with legendary moviemaker Alfred Hitchcock, passed away on Monday, March 28 in New York. His death has been attributed to natural causes, according to E! Online.

Granger started his career in a theater in his native California, where he was discovered by Hollywood heavyweight Samuel Goldwyn and handed a studio contract, which led to roles in "The North Star" (1943) and "The Purple Heart" (1944). He stepped away from Hollywood when he enlisted in the U.S. Navy but later returned to the movie business after serving in Hawaii and he went on to win a role in Hitchcock's classic 1948 thriller "Rope", with James Stewart.

George Clooney is being listed as a potential witness in the sensational sex trial of Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi. The news came as a surprise to many as well as the "Up in the Air" star himself. In fact, he admitted that he himself is puzzled as to why he is named as one of the defense witnesses.

The 49-year-old actor, whose girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis is also included in the witness list, expressed his confusion over the situation through a statement released by his representative on Tuesday, March 29. In it, he said, "It seems odd since I've only met Berlusconi once and that was in an attempt to get aid into Darfur."

'Glee' Extended to 90 Minutes for 'Born This Way' Episode

"Glee" added with Lady GaGa is likely to make a super-sized episode. It has been reported that Fox plans to expand the show's April 26 outing entitled "Born This Way" to 90 minutes as it is jam-packed with good stuff.

Most part of the episode has been filmed, but TVLine learns that producers are planning to shoot two additional musical numbers, which will be GaGa-related, to fill out the expanded running time. A Fox spokesperson refuses to comment on the news.

'Mad Men' Gets Premiere Date Amidst Difficult Negotiations

"Mad Men" talks between creator Matthew Weiner and AMC/Lionsgate may have not fallen through but the network is giving assurance to fans that the show will see the light of day. In the latest progress of the negotiations, AMC set March 2012 as the premiere date of season 5. It is 17 months since the series wrapped up the fourth season in October last year.

"AMC has officially authorized production of season 5 of 'Mad Men', triggering our option with Lionsgate," the official statement said. "While we are getting a later start than in years past due to ongoing, key non-cast negotiations, 'Mad Men' will be back for a fifth season in early 2012." The "key non-cast" refers to Weiner.

Spitting Up Blood, Zsa Zsa Gabor Rushed Back to Hospital

Actress Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband fears the star is close to death after she started coughing up blood at home on Tuesday, March 29. The Hollywood legend has been in and out of hospital since breaking her hip in a fall last summer and Prince Frederic von Anhalt is worried his wife may never return home after her latest health emergency.

TMZ.com reports an ambulance was called to the couple's Bel Air home on Tuesday after Gabor experienced breathing problems and then began spitting up blood. Von Anhalt says, "I'm really worried we may lose her this time."
