Movie star Neve Campbell was hurt and upset by the "shockingly mean" comments leveled at her when she stepped out in a black bikini on vacation last summer 2010, because a foot injury left her unable to work out.

The "Scream" star thought she looked great but was left aghast when the media took aim at her for daring to put on weight, and then strip off in Hawaii. Campbell says, "I had just gotten off the plane, I was bloated and PMS-ing [pre-menstrual tension], and I hadn't exercised in months because my foot was injured. There were comments like, 'She's no longer a Wild Thing'. It was horrible."

Pregnant actress Alyssa Milano has explained why she rushed to announce the sex of her unborn baby on Twitter, she wanted to reveal the gender herself after accidentally letting slip to a reporter. The "Charmed" star, who is expecting her first child with husband Dave Bugliari, took to the micro-blogging site earlier in March to reveal she is expecting a son.

But Milano admits she only let fans in on the secret after she accidentally revealed the gender while being quizzed by a journalist. Milano tells CNN host Piers Morgan, "Here's what happened, there's actually a legitimate story behind that. I had found out the gender of the baby a week before and I walked a red carpet about two days after I had found out the gender and I did an interview and I slipped and I called the baby a he..."

Longtime friends Rob Lowe and Charlie Sheen used to compete to see who could party the hardest and still function on set the next day. Lowe recalls sharing some hard partying nights with the embattled star while the two filmed separate movies in New York City during the '80s.

Lowe tells Vanity Fair, "We competed to see who could play harder, then show up for work and still kick a**. The verdict: Charlie by a nose."

Actor Eric Roberts has signed up to front a new TV campaign for medical aid group GenMed for free, because he feels the public should be aware it's getting ripped off by major drug companies and insurance firms. The "The Expendables" star, who is currently battling an addiction to marijuana, admits he's a big fan of GenMed's products and policy, and he believes all Americans should have access to affordable drugs.

He says, "(They want) to make medicines totally affordable for everybody of all ages in all places. They (drug companies) put a big label on it (medicine) and they overcharge out the kazoo, and GenMed make it possible for everybody to get everything that they need for affordable prices and that, to me, is a big deal."

James Franco and his "Your Highness" co-star Danny McBride helped to break up a street fight by throwing eggs at the attackers from an apartment window. The pair was filming on location in Belfast, Ireland, when rowdy bar patrons across the street from their apartment complex interrupted the actors' sleep. So the "Pineapple Express" stars took revenge by throwing eggs.

McBride explains, "Franco, Justin Theroux, all these other actors, the next night, everyone dressed up in black and we hid up in there (across the street from the bar). And we had a strict code, we weren't allowed to go after women and children; you couldn't get anybody who was going into the club, we didn't want to ruin anyone's night. It had to be someone who was misbehaving and when they would misbehave, they would be punished."

McEntire will receive a Career Achievement Award, while Swift is the recipient of the 2011 Jim Reeves International Award for her contributions to the acceptance of country music throughout the world. Brooks and the Gatlins will receive the Cliffie Stone Pioneer Award.

A new trailer for "Hobo with a Shotgun" has been debuted. The video, released via Apple, sees Rutger Hauer's title character giving babies advice to struggle in a hard life, with scenes that show a situation in a crime-stricken city flickering.

The action film revolves around Hobo, a guy who dreamed of a fresh life in a new city only to find himself trapped in an urban hell. One day, Hobo comes across a shop window displaying a second hand lawn mower and a shotgun, and decides it's time to cut the grass, make the city beautiful and start a new way of life. But after witnessing the brutality that encompasses this city, he realizes the only way to make a difference in this place is with a gun in his hand and two shells in its chamber.

Hollywood beauty Emma Stone apparently is indecisive when it comes to the men she'd like to date. When asked what she is looking for in a guy during an interview for the May issue of Glamour, the actress who stars as Gwen Stacy in "The Amazing Spider-Man" confesses, "Honestly, I cannot put a finger on it."

"One guy could do something that I would find deplorable, and [with] another guy I'd find it charming.... It depends on the person," explains the "Easy A" actress. Still, she adds, "The one thing that needs to be there is that indefinable spark of sorts. But I'm 22 years old...I have no idea what I'm talking about."

Unlike Britney Spears whose dancing on "Good Morning America" gained some negative reviews, Chris Brown's moves on "Dancing with the Stars" were approved by judges and audience. The R&B performer did flips and somersaults during his set.

Beloved U.S. TV host Tom Bergeron has asked the producers of "Dancing with the Stars" to excuse him from an interview with Chris Brown when he performs on the show on Tuesday night, March 29, because he can't promise not to poke fun at the R&B star's troubles.

MTV has unleashed a new trailer for their new series "Teen Wolf". Filled with more scenes highlighting the transformation, the teen romance and the problems that follow main character Scott after he gets bitten, the new trailer also sees a battle that ignites between the werewolf "brothers".

Based on the classic 1980s comedy starring Michael J. Fox, "Teen Wolf" revolves around Scott, a regular guy whose life is changed with one bite. Now he struggles to understand who he is and what he might become. Is he more wolf than human, or is it the other way around? Whichever it is, it's not going to be easy. Scott will try to control his urges, but mostly he's scared that it's his urges that could end up controlling him.

Teenage singer/actress Miranda Cosgrove has been forced to find a new quiet place to do her homework because she attracts too much attention from fans when she studies in public. The "iCarly" star, 17, has a private tutor and used to head to local libraries near her Los Angeles house to research and complete her school work.

But she has had to alter her study plans as she prepares for college to avoid causing a disturbance wherever she goes. Cosgrove tells The New York Times Magazine, "We've been told to leave about half the libraries in Los Angeles for being distracting."

Saying he felt "sad and honored" for the part, he also shared, "Elizabeth chose it. It was a tricky poem as well. Even in passing she had me under the thumb, sweating bricks."

Adrianne Palicki has posed in the new "Wonder Woman" costume for the promotional picture and she is now running in it. The actress was spotted filming an action sequence on a crowded Los Angeles street on Tuesday, March 29, running on the sidewalk while her stuntwoman jumped on car hoods in pursuit of two men in white. Also on the set was Willam Belli who was dressed as Marilyn Monroe.

"Wonder Woman" began its three day shoot in Hollywood that day, Navigate Hollywood reported. Hollywood Boulevard between Orange Drive and Highland Avenue were closed overnight and Eastbound lanes were closed at 4 P.M. Three hours later, Westbound lanes were closed and all lanes were re-opened at 7 A.M. Wednesday.

The next "Monsters, Inc." project is officially titled "Monsters University". Announcing the title is Dave Hollis, Disney's executive vice president of worldwide distribution, at CinemaCon on Tuesday, March 29.

During the convention, Hollis confirmed that the upcoming movie will serve as the prequel of 2001's "Monsters, Inc." He said, "The film is a prequel that tells you a little bit about how Mike and Sulley first met, attending Monsters University."

After her "Good Morning America" concert was aired to celebrate the U.S. release of her new album "Femme Fatale", Britney Spears got slammed by music critics. She was criticized for delivering lip-sync performances and not dancing well enough.

Associate Director of Charts, Billboard Keith Caulfield said, "You expect her to dance ferociously because one can say, well you're lip syncing and when you're lip syncing, we expect you to dance. But now if she's not dancing that vigorously and she's also lip syncing, you can't do both of the same time. Give us one of the others."

Lindsay Lohan has one less legal trouble off her sleeve. The Riverside County District Attorney has decided on Tuesday, March 29 not to pursue a possible assault charge against the "Machete" actress for the altercation she had with Dawn Holland, a worker at the Betty Ford clinic, back in December last year.

To People magazine, District Attorney spokesman John Hall explained that they are not filing any charges due to "insufficient evidence". The representative added, "It wasn't looked at any differently than other cases, and we didn't put any special priority on this. We also had to re-interview subsequent times several witnesses in the case."

Jeremy Renner is cast as Hawkeye in "The Avengers", but he will be seen prior to the 2012 film. It has been revealed that Hawkeye will appear as a cameo in "Thor" and his scene has been previewed during the movie presentation at CinemaCon.

The scene, as detailed by Cinema Blend, features [SPOILER ALERT!] Renner's Hawkeye working with Agent Coulson who is portrayed by Clark Gregg. Hawkeye has multiple lines, and he is seen using his famous bow and arrow.

Fresh "Green Lantern" trailer will be unveiled in front of "Thor". Los Angeles Times reports that Warner Bros. Studio has planned to premiere the upcoming movie's second trailer with "Thor" which will be released on May 6.

Speaking during CinemaCon in Las Vegas, Sue Kroll, the studio's worldwide marketing president, believed people will give a better reaction than they did for the first trailer. She said, "Part of the reason the response to the first trailer was lukewarm was that the big-scale sequences weren't ready to show, and we suffered for it. We can't afford to do that again."

Jake Gyllenhaal struggled while filming his new high-speed train drama "Source Code" because he suffered from severe motion sickness. The actor, who stars in the sci-fi thriller alongside Michelle Monaghan and Vera Farmiga, admits he and the rest of the cast often felt queasy because they were forced to shoot so many scenes on a moving set.

He tells E! News, "Because the train (we filmed on) was moving back and forth and we were on a stage so much, we literally had motion sickness. We thought that the earth was moving because the train had been moving, but it wasn't."

Kevin Federline is going to have baby number five. His girlfriend Victoria Prince is pregnant with his child, it was announced on Tuesday, March 29, just one day after a photo of her sporting what looked like a baby bump spread.

The good news, which is yet to be confirmed by his rep, came on the same day his ex-wife Britney Spears released her new studio album "Femme Fatale". E! Online reported that Spears said she is "focused on her work right now" when asked for comment regarding Federline's impending fatherhood.

Angelina Jolie has been immortalized in a comic book. The Academy Award-winning actress has been made a subject of a new comic book in the "Female Force" series from Bluewater Productions, and a look at "Female Force: Angelina Jolie" cover has been shared in anticipation of its release on Wednesday, March 30.

Angelina's 32-page book will cost $3.99 and feature a look at her sometimes controversial career as well as unconventional life. Written by Brent Sprecher and penciled by Nuno Nobre, it will also delve into her diverse range of movie roles, including her breakout roles in "Gia" and "Girl, Interrupted", and her charity work.

"Madagascar" penguins will have their own movie. After they stole the spotlight in the 2005 animated film and had their own TV series, "The Penguins of Madagascar", the four paramilitary penguins reportedly will appear in a spin-off feature based on the DreamWorks Animation series' popular penguins.

The Hollywood Reporter has reported that the untitled film will tell the story about the Antarctican penguins, Skipper, Kowalski, Private and Rico. "Megamind" screenwriters Alan J. Schoolcraft and Brent Simons have been chosen to pen the project. However, no director has been chosen to helm the film, and release date is yet to be set.

TNT unleashed a new trailer of "Falling Skies". One of the most ambitious TV projects done by Steven Spielberg, the series follows a group of soldiers and civilians struggling against an occupying alien force. Noah Wyle stars as a college professor and father of two who leads the group.

Like in the previous trailer, this new one opens with the children's narration of what happened to Earth on one ordinary day. And in addition to giving out more plots, the trailer includes the cast's insights about the show including where in time frame the invasion occurs and what the human beings plan to do.

Britney Spears gives fans an intimate look at her life in "Britney Spears: I Am the Femme Fatale" to be aired this Sunday, April 3 on MTV at 9 P.M. A trailer for the special has now been debuted, giving a preview to the singer who talks about her life and career with MTV News correspondent Sway Calloway.

The special follows Spears during the past few weeks as she prepared for the release of her seventh studio album, "Femme Fatale", on March 29. She is seen meeting will.i.am in a studio and listening to "Big Fat Bass" produced by the Black Eyed Peas frontman in the trailer.

Welsh opera star Robert Tear has died at the age of 72. News of the veteran tenor's death was announced on Tuesday, March 29 but no more details were available as WENN went to press.

Tear studied as a chorister at Britain's famous King's College, Cambridge and went on to make his operatic debut for the English Opera Group in a 1966 production of Benjamin Britten's "The Turn of the Screw". He went on to perform all over the world and make hundreds of recordings, and he was made a Commander of the British Empire (CBE) in 1984. His last stage appearance was at London's Royal Opera House in Turandot, in 2009.

Lady GaGa received an extra special birthday present as she celebrated turning 25 on Monday, March 28- she was given a pair of "The Wizard Of Oz" -style ruby slippers. The pop superstar performed at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on her big day as part of her "Monster Ball" tour, and her dancers surprised her during the show by presenting her with a birthday cake, while the crowd sang a rousing rendition of "Happy Birthday".

Gaga went on to tell her fans about her favorite present, revealing she was given a pair of the ruby slippers similar to those worn by Judy Garland in the classic 1939 movie. Beyonce Knowles' father Mathew Knowles has dismissed rumors his famous daughter dumped him as her manager over a family rift - insisting the "mutual" decision was made so he could concentrate on mentoring gospel singers. The pop superstar's dad has managed her career since she was a teenager, but the singer announced this week (beginning March 28) that they had decided to part ways.

Beyonce insisted the split was "on a business level", but her statement failed to silence rumors the pair's relationship hasn't recovered from a family scandal last year, when Knowles was revealed to have fathered a lovechild while he was still married to the star's mother, Tina. Justin Timberlake is this year's special honoree at the Nickelodeon's 2011 Kids' Choice Awards which will be hosted by Jack Black. The ex-member of NSYNC is going to receive Big Help Award at the April 2 event for his charitable and environmental efforts.

Jim Broadbent has revealed he was drafted in at the last minute to star in a new TV series after late actor Pete Postlethwaite suddenly withdrew from the role due to illness. The "Moulin Rouge!" actor stars in new BBC thriller "Exile" as retired journalist Sam, who is suffering from Alzheimer's disease, but he has now admitted the part was supposed to be played by Postlethwaite, who died in January.

Broadbent reveals Postlethwaite was the first choice for the lead role, but he had to quit the TV show as his health failed - and the actor admits the casting revelation convinced him to accept the job. He says, "I came on later and Pete Postlethwaite was down to play Sam. Suddenly he couldn't do it and I had an email. That was my one reason why I knew that obviously it's going to be good if it's good enough for Pete."

Nick Cannon has sparked fresh speculation that his singer wife, Mariah Carey, is about to give birth to their twin babies. The "America's Got Talent" host caught a flight to New York from Los Angeles LAX Airport on Tuesday, March 29, and posted one suggestive tweet while he's on the plane.

It seems that Batman will not be absent too long from big screen after Christopher Nolan ends his trilogy with "The Dark Knight Rises". Although the helmer has declared the upcoming movie will be his last Batman film, Warner Bros. has planned to reboot the franchise.

"We have the third Batman, but then we'll have to reinvent Batman," the studio's executive Jeff Robinov tells Los Angeles Times. And Nolan will still be very much involved in the project as the soon-to-be WB president adds, "Chris Nolan and [producing partner and wife] Emma Thomas will be producing it, so it will be a conversation with them about what the next phase is."

Striking while the iron is hot, "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" has penned a story inspired by Charlie Sheen's recent life. In "Rispetto", which airs later in season 10, "Gary Unmarried" actor Jay Mohr is set to portray a Sheen-type character who is not only famous but also "incredibly successful badboy".

According to Deadline, Nyle Brite, unlike Sheen, is a "rockstar" fashion designer whose every creation turns to gold. His badboy reputation of cocaine benders and call-girl parties only skyrockets his career and mints him as the "lovable rogue". In the real world, Sheen pleased CBS with the rating of "Two and a Half Men" before his drug habit and bender with porn stars sent his career down the drain.

Hailee Steinfeld is attached to star in "Sleeping Beauty". Although missing a role in "The Hunger Games", the "True Grit" actress has allegedly been chosen to play the title role in the fairy tale-adapted movie.

Deadline reported that the script, written by Lindsay Devlin, will focus on Aurora's point of view. Instead of waiting for a prince's kiss after she was cursed by a witch in the original, the princess will reportedly enter the dream world and try to figure her way out in the revision plot.

A Lady GaGa look-a-like caused chaos in Miami, Florida on Sunday, March 27, fooling fans, photographers and shop assistants as she toured town with a massive security detail. The petite blonde traveled in a motorcade of four SUVs with 10 security guards and she went to a French Connection store in South Beach on the day of the pop star's 25th birthday on Monday, March 28.

A source tells the New York Post, "Salespeople flocked to assist her, even helping her try on clothes for 30 minutes. She was swarmed by fans screaming 'Happy Birthday!' " A press officer for a Guess shop in the area even released a statement about the visit, revealing, "The crowd was getting so out of control that security needed to shut down the store so Lady GaGa could browse..."

Chelsea Kane is not letting herself being entangled in a cocaine video scandal any longer. The Disney starlet, who previously went by the name of Chelsea Staub, has denied she is one of the two young women allegedly snorting cocaine in a short viral video as she set the record straight in a recent radio interview.

When the subject was brought up by "Mojo In The Morning" host, the "Jonas L.A." beauty replied, "That bums me out hardcore because it's not me, and the other girl that they're suggesting in the video is my co-star on the show Nicole Anderson." She added, "It's just such a bummer because our faces are pixilated and it's just so obvious that someone's trying to start some controversy."

After two weeks of performances, "Dancing with the Stars" shrinks the number of contestants to 10 on March 29. And based on the combination of last week's and March 28's scores as well as viewer votes, Mike Catherwood and his partner Lacey Schwimmer have to leave the stage early.

Hollywood veteran Farley Granger has died at the age of 85. The actor, best known for his collaborations with legendary moviemaker Alfred Hitchcock, passed away on Monday, March 28 in New York. His death has been attributed to natural causes, according to E! Online.

Granger started his career in a theater in his native California, where he was discovered by Hollywood heavyweight Samuel Goldwyn and handed a studio contract, which led to roles in "The North Star" (1943) and "The Purple Heart" (1944). He stepped away from Hollywood when he enlisted in the U.S. Navy but later returned to the movie business after serving in Hawaii and he went on to win a role in Hitchcock's classic 1948 thriller "Rope", with James Stewart.

George Clooney is being listed as a potential witness in the sensational sex trial of Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi. The news came as a surprise to many as well as the "Up in the Air" star himself. In fact, he admitted that he himself is puzzled as to why he is named as one of the defense witnesses.

The 49-year-old actor, whose girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis is also included in the witness list, expressed his confusion over the situation through a statement released by his representative on Tuesday, March 29. In it, he said, "It seems odd since I've only met Berlusconi once and that was in an attempt to get aid into Darfur."

"Glee" added with Lady GaGa is likely to make a super-sized episode. It has been reported that Fox plans to expand the show's April 26 outing entitled "Born This Way" to 90 minutes as it is jam-packed with good stuff.

Most part of the episode has been filmed, but TVLine learns that producers are planning to shoot two additional musical numbers, which will be GaGa-related, to fill out the expanded running time. A Fox spokesperson refuses to comment on the news.

"Mad Men" talks between creator Matthew Weiner and AMC/Lionsgate may have not fallen through but the network is giving assurance to fans that the show will see the light of day. In the latest progress of the negotiations, AMC set March 2012 as the premiere date of season 5. It is 17 months since the series wrapped up the fourth season in October last year.

"AMC has officially authorized production of season 5 of 'Mad Men', triggering our option with Lionsgate," the official statement said. "While we are getting a later start than in years past due to ongoing, key non-cast negotiations, 'Mad Men' will be back for a fifth season in early 2012." The "key non-cast" refers to Weiner.

Actress Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband fears the star is close to death after she started coughing up blood at home on Tuesday, March 29. The Hollywood legend has been in and out of hospital since breaking her hip in a fall last summer and Prince Frederic von Anhalt is worried his wife may never return home after her latest health emergency.

TMZ.com reports an ambulance was called to the couple's Bel Air home on Tuesday after Gabor experienced breathing problems and then began spitting up blood. Von Anhalt says, "I'm really worried we may lose her this time."
