Fox 2000 Pictures is planning to make another "Percy Jackson" movie. Despite the lukewarm response gotten by the first installment "Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief", the studio is reported putting the sequel in active development with plan to shoot it as early as summer.

A person who has been briefed on the project's status reveals that the next movie will be subtitled "The Sea of Monsters" which is derived from the second book in Rick Riordan's five-book series. Lead cast members, including Logan Lerman who takes the titular character, are expected to reprise their roles.

Birthday boy Justin Bieber and his girlfriend Selena Gomez seem to be inseparable. The young celebrity couple was recently snapped heading to Maggiano's Little Italy restaurant in Los Angeles on Tuesday night, March 1 reportedly to continue celebrating his 17th birthday.

While they were quite comfortable in showing off their affection in public during the Vanity Fair Oscar after-party and Pinkberry outing, this time around Justin and Selena keep their distance. There were no kissing, hugging or holding hands. The "Wizards of Waverly Place" beauty even covered her face with her hands in an attempt to avoid photographers.

Lady GaGa has made chart history in Britain after becoming the first artist to reach platinum status for a downloaded album. GaGa's "The Fame" has sold a total of 2.5 million copies in the U.K. and, on Monday, February 28, it set a new record by topping the 300,000 downloads mark.

Official Charts Company managing director Martin Talbot says, "In setting this latest landmark, Lady Gaga has further cemented her position in the annals of pop music history. Lady Gaga is the kind of artist who is constantly striving to break new ground and she has done that yet again for album downloads."

British band McFly have been forced to reschedule the opening dates on their upcoming tour due to illness. The "Obviously" hitmakers are due to hit the road in the U.K. later this month, but rehearsals have been disrupted by band members falling ill - and, as a result, they've had to rearrange three gigs.

A statement from the band reads, "We're really sorry if this means many of you will have to change your plans but we hope you can still make these new dates." Irish gigs in Belfast and Dublin and one in Nottingham, England will now take place in early April. The tour will begin in Sheffield, England on March 18.

Heidi Klum was caught shoplifting on camera on Tuesday, March 1 when she raided the Warner Bros. studio store as part of a daring skit on pal Ellen DeGeneres' U.S. TV show. After a brief appearance on the program, the host dared her guest to head over to the merchandise shop and put on as many items of clothing as she could in 30 seconds. She was then instructed to hug and dance with stunned shoppers.

The segment ended with DeGeneres telling the supermodel and "Project Runway" host to "grab as many clothes as you can and just run outta there". Unlike other DeGeneres pranks, this one is not a hidden-camera.

Hollywood stars Sean Penn and Scarlett Johansson have fueled reports of a budding romance after enjoying a cozy lunch date together in Los Angeles on Monday, February 28 . The actor, 50, finalized his divorce from his wife Robin Wright Penn last year, while "Lost In Translation" beauty Johansson split from husband Ryan Reynolds in December 2010.

Speculation that Penn and Johansson were dating emerged in January, prompting firm denials from the 26-year-old actress' representatives. But new photos of the rumored couple, obtained by TMZ.com, seem to suggest they're more than just friends - the blonde beauty is caught resting her foot in Penn's lap while dining at Cuban restaurant Versailles in the shots.

It's been a while since JoJo dropped her second album "The High Road", and now she's ready to make a comeback with her third effort. She previously named the upcoming CD "All I Want Is Everything", but has recently changed her mind and retitled it "Jumping Trains".

"My third album will be called Jumping Trains and it's very symbolic for a variety of reasons," she said in a video message. "Moving from Boston to L.A., transitioning from being a girl to being a young woman, living on my own, taking a different direction sonically, and just really finding myself and just jumping into a new chapter of life."

Colin Firth thrilled U.S. TV personality Ellen DeGeneres during her morning meeting on Tuesday, March 1 by dropping by to show off his Oscar. The actor appeared on the comedienne's show last week and promised to return if he won gold on Sunday, February 27 for "The King's Speech".

Firth couldn't appear on the show because he had to dash back to England, so he decided to surprise Ellen on his way to the airport and thank her for the underwear gift she gave him the week before, and show off a pair he'd crafted for his award. He said, "I just had to drop by and thank you for the underwear."

Christian Bale's mother is praying his Oscars triumph will reunite the family after they stopped speaking following his 2008 arrest on suspicion of assaulting her. The Brit was honored for his turn in "The Fighter" with the Best Actor in a Supporting Role trophy at the Academy Awards on Sunday, February 27.

His estranged mother Jenny tuned into the TV prizegiving and was overjoyed to see her son win, even sending him a congratulatory email. And after three years of not speaking, she's hoping his victory will result in Christian contacting her.

The hair up for grabs on the auction site was given to chat show host Ellen DeGeneres during a taping of her U.S. show on February 22. The Baby singer told DeGeneres, "I'm giving pieces of it (hair) to different people. We're doing something special. We want you to donate it to whatever charity you want."

Sienna Miller feels "picked apart" by speculation surrounding her recent split from Jude Law, insisting it's "not a nice feeling" hearing gossip about her love life. The stars announced in February that they had parted ways, less than a year after going public with their rekindled relationship May 2010. Aussie actress Poppy Montgomery is portraying "Harry Potter" author J.K. Rowling in a new TV biopic that chronicles the popular writer's early life as a struggling single mum - before she conjured up the boy wizard.

"Magic Beyond Words", which is currently being shot in Vancouver, Canada, will debut on America's Lifetime channel later this year, and director Paul Kaufman insists Rowling's rags-to-riches story will shock a lot of Potter fans. He explains, "This is a woman who decided to persevere... She was on welfare... and she really hit rock bottom."

MGM has not given up on "RoboCop" yet. After the project fell out following the company's financial problems, MGM sets up new plans to make the movie and is currently negotiating with Jose Padilha to take the helming duty.

Deadline Hollywood says Gary Barber and Roger Birnbaum, MGM's CEOs, are impressed by Padilha's work on crime drama "Elite Squad" and its sequel. They will reportedly hire a writer once the Brazilian filmmaker signs up for the reboot project.

Corey Haim's mother has blasted Academy Awards bosses for failing to include her late son in the In Memoriam tribute at the 2011 Oscars, insisting she felt "numb" and "hurt" by the snub. Judy Haim watched the prize giving on Sunday, February 27, hoping to see her son honored as Celine Dion sang Charlie Chaplin's "Smile". But the star, who died last year, wasn't part of the special segment.

She tells People.com, "When it was over, I shut the TV off and was so hurt, and I was numb and feeling his pain. This would have hurt him to the core." According to Entertainment Weekly, the challenge which involves the couple is dishes from the '60s, the era portrayed in the first season of "Mad Men". Bravo is yet to announce the celebrity chef contestants and the show's premiere date. But Hendicks' episode can be seen in the second week.

Warner Bros. Pictures has unearthed a new trailer for "Something Borrowed" starring Ginnifer Goodwin and Kate Hudson as two best friends, Rachel and Darcy, who fall for the same guy. This trailer, debuted by Apple, highlights this love triangle which starts as Rachel sleeps with Darcy's fiance, Colin Egglesfield's Dex.

Rachel blames it on her drinks, but Dex reveals he was not that drunk when making out with her. When Rachel and Darcy's lifelong friendship collides with true love, it leads to unexpected complications and potentially explosive romantic revelations. Meanwhile, John Krasinski's Ethan who has been Rachel's constant confidante has been harboring a secret of his own while persuading Rachel to claim her happiness.

Fans of "Grey's Anatomy" who have been dying to get a glimpse of its musical episode can quench their thirst with the first sneak peek. ABC released a behind-the-scene footage about the recording session which reveals which cast lend their voices and what songs would appear.

"It's Callie's point of view and all of the songs that have been sung in the show would be incorporated in very interesting ways in this episode," Chyler Leigh teased. The list includes The Fray's "How to Save a Life" which became the show's theme for several seasons. Sara Ramirez also said that there will be Snow Patrol's "Chasing Cars" which was featured in the second season finale.

Troubled actor Charlie Sheen's personal woes are mounting - his estranged wife Brooke Mueller has obtained a restraining order against the star. Mueller's lawyer obtained an emergency restraining order against Sheen in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Tuesday, March 1, hours after the socialite was refused physical custody of the couple's twin sons in an ongoing custody battle.

The actor is required to stay 100 yards away from Mueller and have no contact with her. Sheen tells TMZ.com, "Great. I was already planning on staying 100 (Star Wars term) parsecs away from her."

Laurence Fishburne's porn star daughter has been sentenced to rehab after pleading guilty to assault with a deadly weapon. Montana Fishburne will serve 180 days in a treatment facility after allegedly beating up her boyfriend's former lover.

The adult actress, who shocked her family by fronting a salacious sex tape last year, was represented in court on Tuesday, March 1 by Lindsay Lohan's attorney Shawn Chapman Holley. It was a big win for Fishburne - according to TMZ.com, prosecutors were pressing for jail time.

James Franco's representative has shot down reports the actor fled the Oscars on Sunday, February 27 night after falling out with co-host Anne Hathaway and producers during the ceremony. Reports suggest the actors weren't exactly best friends backstage at the Academy Awards - and tabloid reports suggest Franco and Hathaway didn't get along at all.

"Little House on the Prairie" star Melissa Gilbert has split from her husband of 16 years. The former child star, 46, wed actor Bruce Boxleitner, 60, in 1995 and they are parents to 15-year-old son Michael, in addition to three children from previous relationships.

Rap superstar Jay-Z is facing a return to court later this month after failing to reach a settlement with baseball player David Ortiz over the name of the sportsman's nightclub in the Dominican Republic. The "99 Problems" hitmaker and his business partner Juan Perez took issue with the name of the "Boston Red Sox" star's hotspot, Forty/Forty club, in April 2010, claiming it infringed upon their chain of 40/40 sports bars.

In the lawsuit, the plaintiffs alleged Ortiz had been a patron at their New York club on "several occasions" before opening his own bar in his native country. The two parties agreed to put an end to the legal dispute last summer, with Ortiz reportedly agreeing to rename his venue and pull down its promotional website FortyForty.net.

Katie Holmes has slapped a $50 million lawsuit on U.S. tabloid Star over an article which suggested she was a drug addict. The actress was appalled by the magazine's cover story, which featured the headline "Addiction Nightmare - Katie Drug Shocker! - The Real Reason She Can't Leave Tom".

The article does not allege any drug use by Holmes, but she still feels the suggestive cover is clearly defamatory, and she has instructed her lawyers to act. A representative for the "Batman Begins" star tells TMZ.com, "Star Magazine's malicious claims about Katie are untrue, unethical and unlawful. Not only do they cruelly defame Katie, they play a cheap trick on the public, making ridiculously false claims on the cover unsupported by anything inside."

Franklin has now opened up about the health troubles that led to her hospitalization in a candid interview with U.S. talk show host Wendy Williams, revealing she had no choice but to cancel her tour - because she could barely stand up.

E! has released the first sneak peek into their new Kardashian franchise, "Khloe & Lamar". Featuring married couple Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom, the reality show is done in "Newlyweds" style and follows Khloe's day-to-day life as a wife and stepmother to Lamar's two children from his previous marriage.

"Khloe & Lamar", which was shot this Spring, would premiere in April. Khloe's older sister Kim Kardashian admitted that she has no clue of how it would look like. "What's so funny is that we're all doing our own things and I don't know what Khloe or Lamar or my brother [Rob] has been doing," Kim told Jimmy Kimmel. "So I'm excited to watch their show when it comes out because I don't know!"

Actress Isla Fisher suffered a wardrobe malfunction at an Academy Awards afterparty on Sunday, February 27, when her dress strap broke after a particularly enthusiastic embrace with comedian Larry David.

Fisher was attending the Vanity Fair Oscars Party with her funnyman husband Sacha Baron Cohen when they spotted the "Curb Your Enthusiasm" star and went over to greet him. Modern versions of "Snow White", "The Wizard of Oz" and "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" are on the way and another classic tale will get new feature film treatment as well. It has just been reported that Channing Tatum will team up with screenwriter Billy Ray and producer Joe Roth to develop new Peter Pan movie.

The pitch package has been offered to studios starting Tuesday, March 1. Details about the project are scarce and it is not clear if Tatum will star or just produce it. The movie is put under the title "Peter Pan Begins" and will tell the origin of Peter Pan, so The Hollywood Reporter says.

A trailer for "Captain America: The First Avenger" has recently been screened at Russian Movie Expo. SuperHeroHype scooper got a chance to watch it and has described what he/she saw in the trailer.

It reportedly opens with [SPOILER ALERT!] recruitment scene where Steve Rogers is called. He begs to the doctors to be given "a chance" but he gets rejected. The scene is cut to Camp Lehigh where Col. Chester Phillips, with Peggy Carter by her side, tells some soldiers including Steve, "General Patton has said, that wars may be fought with weapons, but they are won by men."

Singer/actor Harry Connick Jr. is taking Barbra Streisand's hit film "On a Clear Day You Can See Forever" back to Broadway in a new revival this autumn. The Grammy winner will return to the New York stage with "American Idiot" director Michael Mayer, who is giving the original 1965 play a gender-bending twist.

The original was about a young woman who discovers she lived in 18th century Britain in a past life. Connick, Jr. will star as a gay florist's assistant, who turns to a psychiatrist to help him quit smoking and discovers he may have spent his past life as 1940s jazz singer, Melinda Wells. Connick, Jr. admits he's "really excited" about the new role. He last appeared as an actor on Broadway in 2006 musical "The Pajama Game".

Pop star Lady GaGa waited until she turned 17 before losing her virginity - but she only learned to enjoy sex after falling in love. The "Bad Romance" hitmaker's first intimate encounters with men were "absolutely terrible" and she admits it took a monogamous relationship with her boyfriend Luc Carl to change her mind about sex.

Pearl Jam and Maroon 5 are among the bands who have donated tracks to a new music initiative to benefit eco-friendly causes. The rockers join Jack Johnson, Bonnie Raitt and the Zac Brown Band in lending exclusive music to the Patagonia Music Collective website, which will offer fans more than 20 songs for $0.99.

Film bosses are intent on making the last ever "Harry Potter" premiere a magical one - the showbiz screening will be the first ever red carpet film event to be held at London's iconic Trafalgar Square.

J.K. Rowling's final book "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" was split into two parts for the big screen - the first installment hit cinemas in November, while the second will be released on July 7. And to ensure the franchise goes out with a bang, film chiefs have persuaded London's mayor Boris Johnson to allow the cast, including Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint, to walk a red carpet at Trafalgar Square in central London, where Nelson's Column sits.

Amanda Seyfried and Jennifer Garner have paid tribute to director Gary Winick, who passed away aged 49 on Sunday, February 27. Winick, best known for big screen romantic comedies, died after a lengthy battle with brain cancer.

And Seyfried, who worked with him on his last film, "Letters to Juliet", remembers her time with him fondly, telling The Hollywood Reporter, "Gary's heart was so big I think each of us who loved him have a piece of it now. It's unreal that he's gone and I'll miss my friend more than I can say."

The sentencing of a man convicted of stalking "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" star Kathryn Erbe was adjourned after he allegedly wrote a letter to the judge insisting he'll kill himself if he goes to jail.

Charles Nagel, 36, from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania was found guilty of stalking the actress via the internet last November after he sent messages to her teenage daughter on social networking sites. He was due to be sentenced in a New York court on Monday, but Brooklyn Federal Judge Jack Weinstein told prosecutors he has received a letter from Nagel and wants him to undergo a psychiatric evaluation.

Megan Fox has just been announced as the new Armani Code woman. At the dawn of her new duty, she has shot pictures for the new advertising campaign that premieres in March, sharing screen with a hunky male model.

In two pictures, the "Jennifer's Body" babe sports short black bob and cozies up to the tux clad man with a background of city's lights in the night. Another image has Megan baring her back to the camera with the male model pretty much naked. The images were shot in Los Angeles, California in a glass and iron villa with a breathtaking view of the shimmering city.

Lindsay Lohan is adamant she's feeling "great" and "happy" - even though she's facing a possible jail term over allegations she stole a necklace. The star is accused of taking the expensive jewelery from the Kamofie & Company store in California in January and was last month warned by a judge she will be sent to prison if she accepts a plea deal.

The troubled actress has now spoken out in her first interview since the incident, insisting her "recovery" is still on track following three months in a rehab clinic last year. Lohan tells U.S. news show "Extra", "I feel great. I feel happy. There's always, you know, things... bumps that we have in the road. As long as I'm focusing on the one thing that I know I need to put first in my life, which is, you know, my recovery and stuff, then I'm doing good, and that's most important for me."

Rihanna is struggling to decide which song to release as her next single-so she's asking fans to choose for her. The "Umbrella" hitmaker will begin a new assault on the charts in the spring by releasing a sixth track from her 2010 album "Loud", as a follow-up to recent controversial single "S&M".

But she's torn between four songs-"Man Down", "Fading", "California King Bed", and "Cheers (Drink to That)"-and she's taken to her Twitter.com blog to ask fans for help making the decision. She writes, "QUESTION EXISTING: I'm shootin a new vid in a cpl wks, I just need u to tell me, which song should I shoot? What is my next single? its hard to go from s+m to SKIN! Don't wanna be 2 swiney."

"Greek" will take its final bow on Monday, March 7 on ABC Family. Pics from the series finale have surfaced, showing the cast taking a pledge in front of their sorority house which is on the verge of being demolished and turned to Kappa Tau Omega.

While Cappie must make a decision about their future, Casey and Evan are pitted against the Kappa Tau in a fight to save their fraternity house. According to TV Line, which acquires a special sneak peek to the episode, Casey and Evan are made privy to the KT woes when their law professor forces them to work together on a not-so-mock trail.

After the success of her collaboration with Thierry Mugler at Paris Men's Fashion Week in January, Lady GaGa once again joins forces with the fashion designer to preview another song from her upcoming studio album "Born This Way". While the previous show didn't see GaGa at all, this upcoming one will debut her as a runway model.

"I'm making my debut as a runway model, walking in the MUGLER PARIS FASHIONSHOW 3/2. I directed the show music, previewing Government Hooker," GaGa announced the news to her Little Monsters on Twitter. She will become one of the models for the fashion house's women's wear collection.

TV boss Chuck Lorre has attempted to end his feud with Charlie Sheen by urging the "Two and a Half Men" star to stop fueling "further speculation". The actor branded Lorre, the creator of his hit sitcom, a "stupid, stupid little man and a p**sy punk" for suspending filming of the show in January to allow the star to deal with his substance abuse issues in rehab. Following the vicious rant, it was announced there would be no more "Two and a Half Men" this season - and Sheen retaliated by vowing to sue Lorre for axing the shoot.

Now the producer has taken to his website to publish his own thoughts on the matter, and has called for an end to the ongoing war of words. He writes: "I understand that I'm under a lot of pressure to respond to certain statements made about me recently. The following are my uncensored thoughts. I hope this will put an end to any further speculation."

TV legend Joan Collins was taken to hospital during the post-Oscars Vanity Fair party after her figure-hugging dress left her feeling faint. The "Dynasty" star attended the magazine's bash at Hollywood's Sunset Tower Hotel in a tight-fitting lilac gown, but after mixing with A-listers for several hours, the 77 year old began to feel dizzy.

Her concerned husband Percy Gibson called an ambulance for his wife, and medics decided to rush the star to a nearby hospital for tests. Collins was relieved when doctors gave her the all-clear - and blames her corseted dress for the fuss.

Walt Disney Pictures has given away a sneak peek to "Toy Story" short entitled "Hawaiian Vacation" which will be debuted in front of "Cars 2". The clip sees Barbie and Ken coming out of a backpack and thinking they are in Hawaii. But upon meeting their toy friends, Barbie and Ken just learn that they are still in Bonnie's bedroom and Ken cannot hide his disappointment.

The short's director Gary Rydstrom says, "It takes place in Bonnie's room - Woody, Buzz and Rex and everybody is in on it. Ken wants to take Barbie on a perfect vacation to Hawaii by stowing away in Bonnie's backpack, but they get left behind in the middle of winter while she goes off without them. Ken kind of screwed up. Barbie probably does all the planning, and he tried to plan this one."

Marg Helgenberger is not leaving "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" after all. There was a fear that the depicter of Catherine Willow in the crime series would follow the footsteps of William Petersen who exited the show when his contract was up.

It is now reported that Helgenberger's contract would indeed expires at the end of the season but the actress is expected to return in some capacity next fall. Helgenberger told People, "We're talking maybe [only] doing a few episodes".

Jewish actress Natalie Portman has taken time out from celebrating her Oscars triumph to publicly slam John Galliano after a video emerged of the fashion designer admitting his "love" for Nazi tyrant Adolf Hitler. The style guru was arrested last week after he allegedly hurled racist insults at a couple drinking in a Parisian bar.

He was released without charge but was suspended by bosses at fashion house Christian Dior, where he is head designer, while further police investigations took place. Galliano's lawyer, Stephane Zerbib, denied the claims, and revealed that the star is planning to sue the couple for defamation. But the flamboyant couturier faced further scandal on Monday, February 28 with the release of a new video which apparently shows him lashing out at another group of drinkers at the same bar, telling them, "I love Hitler".

Christina Aguilera has recently run into trouble with law. The "Dirrty" singer, along with her boyfriend Matt Rutler, was pulled over by cops on early Tuesday morning, March 1. She was reportedly extremely drunk and a nuisance, while Matt was allegedly driving under the influence.

She was arrested for allegedly violating California Penal Code 647(f) for public intoxication, and Matt was booked for suspicion of DUI. "When she got out of the car, she couldn't stand. We had to help her stand," L.A. County Sheriff's spokesperson Steve Whitmore said to Us magazine. "She didn't know where she was and she didn't know her own address. We took her into custody for her own protection."

Micky Ward has gotten a happy ending in "The Fighter" but that is not the end of his journey. Now Mark Wahlberg seemingly wants to bring more story from the boxing legend to big screen as he hints at a possible sequel.

"Now we're gonna talk about doing number two," the lead actor/producer told Extra on the red carpet of 83rd Oscar on February 27. "We're gonna do the Ward/Gatti trilogy and make it real," he added, referring to three major fights between Ward and Arturo Gatti.

Sir Paul McCartney's ex-wife Heather Mills is facing legal action from her former publicists, who allege she tried to fix "The Celebrity Apprentice" to win the show. Bosses at publicity company Parapluie are suing the former model over unpaid fees totaling $168,000, and in the explosive lawsuit they've accused her of lying and cheating.

Mills' former reps claim they lined her up for a stint on Donald Trump's U.S. reality series in 2008, but she refused to accept the gig unless it was guaranteed she would be crowned the winner. Trump snubbed her demand and she was dropped from the line-up, according to Parapluie's lawsuit.
