Nona Sivley Named 'Hell's Kitchen' Winner, Competitor Unhappy

Gordon Ramsay has picked the new winner of "Hell's Kitchen". Nona Sivley, a mother of one from Texas, won over Russell Kook in the one-hour finale to cook a five-course meal judged by Los Angeles' notable foodies.

Sivley created a Southern-inspired menu and impressed the judges. She was the contestant whose door was unlocked, allowing her to walk through to a podium filled cheering crowd including her husband and son. As the winner of eighth season, Sivley is to take the head chef position at LA Market in the JW Marriott Hotel in Los Angeles. Plus, she would be the official spokesperson of Rosemount Estate Wines.

Confirmed, Gwyneth Paltrow Offered Lead Role in Musical 'Rock of Ages'

Having proven her singing skill in "Country Strong" must have given more confidence to Gwyneth Paltrow to take on another musical film. The blonde actress has revealed that she is offered a lead role in "Rock of Ages", an upcoming big screen adaptation of the Broadway play of the same title.

"It sounds cool," she gushed about her potential starring-vehicle when hitting the red carpet of "Country Strong" premiere in Los Angeles on Tuesday, December 14. She additionally told Entertainment Weekly, "I just got the script and I will read it on the plane home tomorrow. But it sounds like it could be fun."

Songs performed by Christina Aguilera, Justin Bieber and Gwyneth Paltrow are among the 41 shortlisted for Academy Awards glory in 2011. "Bound to You", which Aguilera sings in "Burlesque", Bieber's collaboration with Jaden Smith, "Never Say Never" from "The Karate Kid", and two tracks from Paltrow's movie "Country Strong" have been named among the favorites to land the Best Original Song prize on February 27, 2011.

Other tracks tipped to become nominees when the list is narrowed down on January 2011 include Carrie Underwood's "There's a Place for Us" from "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader" and Randy Newman's "We Belong Together" from "Toy Story 3".

"6'7" " aka "6 Foot 7 Foot" features one of the Young Money newest members Cory Gunz. It is produced by "A Milli" hitmaker Bangladesh and recorded for "Tha Carter IV", Weezy's next installment of the "Carter" album series.

Bruno Mars' Court Date Pushed Back to February 2011

R&B singer Bruno Mars' court date to face a felony charge of drug possession has been postponed for a second time. The "Just the Way You Are" star was arrested in Las Vegas in September this year after a bathroom attendant at the Hard Rock Hotel allegedly caught him with a bag of white powder, which tested positive for cocaine.

Mars, real name Peter Hernandez, was due to appear in a Sin City courtroom on November 18 but his lawyer asked for the date to be rescheduled. At the rearranged hearing on Tuesday, December 14, the singer's legal aid asked the judge to push back the court date again to allow Mars' Los Angeles-based lawyer to take part in the case.

50 Cent Sued for Alleged Copyright Infringement

50 Cent has been named in a lawsuit by a little-known rapper over allegations of copyright infringement. Tyrone Simmons, who goes by the rap name Caliber, filed suit in a Brooklyn, New York federal court on Wednesday, December 15 claiming he bought the exclusive rights to use the instrumental beat of the star's 2007 hit song "I Get Money".

Simmons accuses 50 Cent of infringement by using the track, and he also names the tune's creator and several music companies in his suit. He is seeking unspecified damages.

Dame Judi Dench has been hailed as the greatest stage star of all time - ahead of theater legends Laurence Olivier and Sir Ian McKellen. The "Bond" star has worked in theater since the 1950s and has received seven of Britain's prestigious Olivier Awards - more than any other performer.

Soon after the last round of "American Idol" auditions was wrapped up in Las Vegas, FOX releases the first promo poster. Featuring the judges and the host, the poster reminds fans that the show is moved to new night combo, Wednesday and Thursday starting January 19 at 8/7c.

In the meantime, new progress on the search for "the one" has been reported. Around 60 contestants made it to the Sin City on Tuesday, December 14 and only 40 were set to return to Los Angeles. The Las Vegas round is the continuation of Hollywood Week where contestants from seven cities audition were wilted down.

Miley Cyrus Offered Her Own R-Rated Web Channel

Miley Cyrus may get more than what she expects for when she decides to ditch her goody-goody image. The actress has been slammed for her raunchy actions on- and off- stage in the past, but Pornhub.com plans to further expose her for the sake of business. Radar Online has learned that the company is in the process of offering Miley her own channel on the site.

"Given that Miley has already contributed to the further mainstreaming of Pornography via her actions, Pornhub executives feel that a Miley Cyrus Channel at their site would be an excellent platform for her to balance her risque behavior with efforts to further transition into an adult," the company reasons as mentioned on a press release obtained by Radar. The R-rated channel would be used to "showcase how-to videos for pole dancing and lap dancing, as well as video blog entries" from the "Hannah Montana" star.

Ailing singer Aretha Franklin has returned to her home in Detroit, Michigan after undergoing surgery and is recovering with the help of her family and a private nurse. The music legend had "successful" surgery at a hospital in Detroit last week to treat an undisclosed ailment.

Subsequent reports suggested Franklin, 68, has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer - although relatives have refused to confirm the nature of the star's illness. However, Franklin's publicist Tracey Jordan confirms the Queen of Soul was released from hospital earlier this week and is in "great spirits".

The 28th Annual William S. Paley Television Festival will show a more variable and commercial line-up when the annual event takes place March 4 to 18 next year. The Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills has announced their panels which include "Freaks and Geeks" and "The Walking Dead".

A comedy which only lived for a year starting 1999, "Freaks and Geeks" will reunite the cast which consists of James Franco, Seth Rogen, and Jason Segel among others. The panel will be combined with a reunion of "Undeclared" and hosted by director Judd Apatow. "Undeclared" was canceled in 2002, starring Jay Baruchel, Charlie Hunnam, and again, Rogen. However, Paley has not confirmed which cast would attend.
