Gordon Ramsay has picked the new winner of "Hell's Kitchen". Nona Sivley, a mother of one from Texas, won over Russell Kook in the one-hour finale to cook a five-course meal judged by Los Angeles' notable foodies.

Sivley created a Southern-inspired menu and impressed the judges. She was the contestant whose door was unlocked, allowing her to walk through to a podium filled cheering crowd including her husband and son. As the winner of eighth season, Sivley is to take the head chef position at LA Market in the JW Marriott Hotel in Los Angeles. Plus, she would be the official spokesperson of Rosemount Estate Wines.

Having proven her singing skill in "Country Strong" must have given more confidence to Gwyneth Paltrow to take on another musical film. The blonde actress has revealed that she is offered a lead role in "Rock of Ages", an upcoming big screen adaptation of the Broadway play of the same title.

"It sounds cool," she gushed about her potential starring-vehicle when hitting the red carpet of "Country Strong" premiere in Los Angeles on Tuesday, December 14. She additionally told Entertainment Weekly, "I just got the script and I will read it on the plane home tomorrow. But it sounds like it could be fun."

FOX is opening a forum for "Glee" fans to ask any kind of questions to the cast. In the first part, fans ask random questions like how can people tell if Cory Monteith is a Canadian and what their favorite fan moment is.

Lea Michele gets to answer her favorite Broadway show and she mentioned "Spring Awakening". The play is close to Michele's heart for she earned a Drama Desk Award nomination for her performance as the lead role.

Songs performed by Christina Aguilera, Justin Bieber and Gwyneth Paltrow are among the 41 shortlisted for Academy Awards glory in 2011. "Bound to You", which Aguilera sings in "Burlesque", Bieber's collaboration with Jaden Smith, "Never Say Never" from "The Karate Kid", and two tracks from Paltrow's movie "Country Strong" have been named among the favorites to land the Best Original Song prize on February 27, 2011.

Other tracks tipped to become nominees when the list is narrowed down on January 2011 include Carrie Underwood's "There's a Place for Us" from "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader" and Randy Newman's "We Belong Together" from "Toy Story 3".

A day after audio stream of Lil Wayne's first post-prison single "6'7" " hit the web, a cover art of the single is unearthed. The picture tagged with Parental Advisory warning boasts an image of Weezy standing against the wall wearing his signature sagging jeans, T-shirt and hoodie.

"6'7" " aka "6 Foot 7 Foot" features one of the Young Money newest members Cory Gunz. It is produced by "A Milli" hitmaker Bangladesh and recorded for "Tha Carter IV", Weezy's next installment of the "Carter" album series.

R&B singer Bruno Mars' court date to face a felony charge of drug possession has been postponed for a second time. The "Just the Way You Are" star was arrested in Las Vegas in September this year after a bathroom attendant at the Hard Rock Hotel allegedly caught him with a bag of white powder, which tested positive for cocaine.

Mars, real name Peter Hernandez, was due to appear in a Sin City courtroom on November 18 but his lawyer asked for the date to be rescheduled. At the rearranged hearing on Tuesday, December 14, the singer's legal aid asked the judge to push back the court date again to allow Mars' Los Angeles-based lawyer to take part in the case.

50 Cent has been named in a lawsuit by a little-known rapper over allegations of copyright infringement. Tyrone Simmons, who goes by the rap name Caliber, filed suit in a Brooklyn, New York federal court on Wednesday, December 15 claiming he bought the exclusive rights to use the instrumental beat of the star's 2007 hit song "I Get Money".

Simmons accuses 50 Cent of infringement by using the track, and he also names the tune's creator and several music companies in his suit. He is seeking unspecified damages.

Twice-divorced Shannen Doherty would consider walking down the aisle for a third time - because she's eager to have kids. The "Beverly Hills, 90210" actress has had two-short lived marriages; her first to George Hamilton's son Ashley ended in divorce in 1994 while her second to Rick Solomon was annulled after just nine months in 2003.

But despite her bad experiences, Doherty, 39, would love to give marriage another chance - and yearns for a long-lasting union like her parents.

Dame Judi Dench has been hailed as the greatest stage star of all time - ahead of theater legends Laurence Olivier and Sir Ian McKellen. The "Bond" star has worked in theater since the 1950s and has received seven of Britain's prestigious Olivier Awards - more than any other performer.

And in a poll by acting publication The Stage, the actress saw off competition from the man her accolades are named after to be crowned queen of the theater. After hearing the news, Dench said, "I'm completely at a loss for words but it's one hell of a thing to live up to."

Soon after the last round of "American Idol" auditions was wrapped up in Las Vegas, FOX releases the first promo poster. Featuring the judges and the host, the poster reminds fans that the show is moved to new night combo, Wednesday and Thursday starting January 19 at 8/7c.

In the meantime, new progress on the search for "the one" has been reported. Around 60 contestants made it to the Sin City on Tuesday, December 14 and only 40 were set to return to Los Angeles. The Las Vegas round is the continuation of Hollywood Week where contestants from seven cities audition were wilted down.

Miley Cyrus may get more than what she expects for when she decides to ditch her goody-goody image. The actress has been slammed for her raunchy actions on- and off- stage in the past, but Pornhub.com plans to further expose her for the sake of business. Radar Online has learned that the company is in the process of offering Miley her own channel on the site.

"Given that Miley has already contributed to the further mainstreaming of Pornography via her actions, Pornhub executives feel that a Miley Cyrus Channel at their site would be an excellent platform for her to balance her risque behavior with efforts to further transition into an adult," the company reasons as mentioned on a press release obtained by Radar. The R-rated channel would be used to "showcase how-to videos for pole dancing and lap dancing, as well as video blog entries" from the "Hannah Montana" star.

A short snippet of Crystal Bowersox's music video for her debut single "Farmer's Daughter" has been unleashed. It gives a quick look at the runner-up of "American Idol" season 9 singing the title track of her upcoming album while playing her guitar.

Directed by Meiert Avis, the video will air on January 3, 2011 and depict a "healing cycle" she has gone through. She said when interviewed by Access Hollywood on the video set, "It starts with a little girl, who I guess is symbolically me...her mother is pushing her away and they go through the whole video and these obstacles and things."

Ailing singer Aretha Franklin has returned to her home in Detroit, Michigan after undergoing surgery and is recovering with the help of her family and a private nurse. The music legend had "successful" surgery at a hospital in Detroit last week to treat an undisclosed ailment.

Subsequent reports suggested Franklin, 68, has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer - although relatives have refused to confirm the nature of the star's illness. However, Franklin's publicist Tracey Jordan confirms the Queen of Soul was released from hospital earlier this week and is in "great spirits".

Actor Paul Rudd was left red-faced during a recent meeting with U.S. President Barack Obama - after failing to pick up on a joke. The "I Love You, Man" star took in a tour of the White House with his movie co-star Reese Witherspoon while shooting new romantic comedy "How Do You Know" in Washington, D.C. and they were treated to a meet-and-greet with the top politician.

But the actor messed up the big moment by mistaking a quip cracked by the President for a serious comment. Rudd explains, "We were in the Oval Office and I'd just broken into a sweat. I was nervous..."

Actress Jenny McCarthy is keeping her fingers crossed for a future return to Charlie Sheen's hit TV comedy "Two and a Half Men" - because screenwriters chose not to kill off her character.

The busty blonde recently reprised her guest role as Sheen's con artist girlfriend on the show, but her stint came to an end earlier this month when the characters broke up. But McCarthy is hoping the door will always be open for a comeback because she had so much fun filming with the cast and crew.

Nick Cannon is twisting and turning his statements regarding how many babies are in his wife's womb. Just a week after he laughed off rumors that Mariah Carey is carrying twins, Cannon said that Carey referring to their unborn child as "they" is simply not wrong.

"It's a touchy issue, because you never want to speak on too much stuff too early," he told E! Online. "But my wife, at one time, she said, well she referred to her stomach as 'they' and that probably wasn't the wrong thing for her to do. That's all I'm gonna say."

Another set of A-listers has been recruited for "New Year's Eve". Zac Efron and Halle Berry are in negotiations to join the already star-studded cast ensemble, while Sarah Jessica Parker is on board to star in the film, so The Hollywood Reporter says.

Efron is offered a role of a bike messenger who ends up trying to fulfill New Year's Eve resolutions of Michelle Pfeiffer's character in exchange for tickets to a big party. Liam Gallagher is still not speaking to his brother Noel Gallagher - almost 18 months after they split up Oasis. The British band fell apart in August 2009 after singer Liam and guitarist Noel had a furious bust-up backstage before a concert in Paris, France.

Noel quit the group in a fury after the argument - and Liam, who went on to form Beady Eye with the remaining members of Oasis, has revealed the warring siblings are still not on speaking terms. Asked by British magazine NME what the brothers' "relationship" is like now, Liam replied, "I haven't got one with him."

Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs has angered public transit workers in New York City after redesigning subway entrance names for an unauthorized campaign promoting his new album "Last Train to Paris". Manhattan's Prince Street and Spring Street stations were given a makeover early on Tuesday, December 14, when magnetic signs were posted over entrances, convincingly altered to read "Last Train to Paris 12.14.10".

People dressed as train conductors also took to the station platforms and yelled, "All aboard! Last train to Paris!" Metropolitan Transportation Authority bosses have confirmed that the advertisement was not official, and station workers began removing the signs later on Tuesday, angry that tourists had been left confused, unaware the signs were part of a marketing ploy.

An associate of hip-hop star Rick Ross has been shot and killed in his Miami, Florida home after robbers invaded a Christmas party and opened fire. Raymond Adderly, an aspiring rapper, was celebrating the holidays with his wife and three children on Tuesday, December 14 when a group of men stormed into the house and murdered him in front of his family.

The violent crime has left city residents stunned and Adderly's brother-in-law, Gentry Chambers, admits he is heartbroken, reports AllHipHop.com. He says, "We're in shock. It's awful. It's awful my nephews and sister have to go through this during the holidays."

Hollywood star Hugh Grant is comforting his ex-girlfriend Elizabeth Hurley following her marriage split and revelations of her romance with cricket legend Shane Warne. Hurley hit the headlines on Sunday, December 12 when pictures emerged of her kissing Warne in London last week, prompting the "Austin Powers" star to release a statement confirming she had split from husband Arun Nayar "a few months ago".

A representative for Claire Danes has threatened to sue a U.S. newspaper over false reports the actress has experienced permanent skin darkening around her eyes after endorsing an eyelash growth treatment. Danes joined Brooke Shields this summer as a celebrity spokesperson for Latisse, a treatment from the makers of anti-aging facial injections Botox.

Latisse bosses warn skin darkening is a reversible and less common side-effect of using the product. The actress documented her 16-week journey with the cosmetic in a video diary on the Latisse website, admitting she suffered redness around her eyes for "about a week" at first, but hadn't experienced any side-effects since.

The 28th Annual William S. Paley Television Festival will show a more variable and commercial line-up when the annual event takes place March 4 to 18 next year. The Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills has announced their panels which include "Freaks and Geeks" and "The Walking Dead".

A comedy which only lived for a year starting 1999, "Freaks and Geeks" will reunite the cast which consists of James Franco, Seth Rogen, and Jason Segel among others. The panel will be combined with a reunion of "Undeclared" and hosted by director Judd Apatow. "Undeclared" was canceled in 2002, starring Jay Baruchel, Charlie Hunnam, and again, Rogen. However, Paley has not confirmed which cast would attend.

Black Eyed Peas star Taboo is preparing for his son to follow him into the music industry - the teenager wants to become a DJ. The "I Gotta Feeling" hitmaker is father to 17-year-old Josh, who is currently looking at college courses to continue his education.

But Taboo admits the teen is passionate about becoming a beatmaker and he's encouraging the youngster to pursue his musical ambition. He tells USmagazine.com, "I'm dealing with (ambition) right now with my seventeen-year-old son Josh. We are looking at colleges, but he's also going to pursue his DJ career, which is his passion."

Country music star Wynnona Judd has a secret "rock star" boyfriend - and admits she harbored a crush on him for the last 25 years. The 46-year-old singer has been married twice and has two children with her first husband, Arch Kelley.

She filed for divorce from her second, D. R. Roach, after he was accused of sexual assaulting a pre-teen and was later convicted of sexual battery. Judd admits she's put her turbulent love life behind her now and has found happiness with an unnamed boyfriend in the music industry, but she won't reveal her mystery lover's identity until her upcoming reality TV show "The Judds" airs next year.

After "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest" revealed its crowded line-up, now it's "NBC's New Year's Eve with Carson Daly" that announces its also-star-studded musical guests. Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj and My Chemical Romance are booked for the annual gig.

The major event will air in two-hour special on December 31, beginning 10-11 P.M. Beside live performances, there will also be an interview between Daly and U2's Bono and The Edge. Jon Favreau turned down directing duties on "Iron Man 3" after deciding he wanted to work on a movie which "isn't loaded with built-in expectations". Favreau helped create a hugely successful film franchise, starring Robert Downey Jr. as the comic book superhero, by directing the first two installments and bringing in profits of more than $1 billion.

It was announced earlier this week that the actor/director had walked away from a planned third movie, although no explanation was given for his departure. Favreau has now opened up about his decision to quit, revealing he wanted to focus on a new project rather than a massively-hyped comic book movie.

Glenn Close has undergone a transformation for her upcoming movie "Albert Nobbs". The 63-year-old star was hardly recognized when she was recently spotted on the set in Dublin, Ireland as her blonde hair is darker and shorter and her curve is hidden under male vintage suit.

In the film, Oscar-nominated and Emmy-winning actress Close plays an English woman who disguises herself as a male so she could land a job as a butler in 19th century Ireland, when woman with no husband or family and without work would face a bleak life of poverty and loneliness, taking the name of Albert. After hiding the secret for years, Albert is inspired to try and escape the false life she has created for herself.

Young British singer Jessie J has been tipped for success in 2011 after winning the Brit Awards Critics' Choice prize. The 22-year-old pop star follows in the footsteps of Adele, Florence and the Machine and last year's winner Ellie Goulding by taking the coveted trophy, which is voted for by 100 newspaper, magazine and website editors and TV and radio producers.

Jessie J will receive the honor at the Brit Awards ceremony in London in February next year. The singer responded to the honor with much joy, writing on her Twitter, "I WON!!! Omg omg omg omg omg."

Elizabeth Hurley has tried to overcome the heartache of her marriage split with a trip to church - but insists she is not "praying for my sins" following her romance with Shane Warne. The British actress/model revealed on Sunday, December 12 she has parted from her husband Arun Nayar, making the announcement just hours after revelations she spent two nights with cricket ace Warne at his London hotel last week.

Both Hurley and the sportsman have since insisted their respective marriages were over several months ago - but the "Austin Powers" actress couldn't resist a cheeky reference to the scandal when she attended a carol service with her eight-year-old son Damian on Wednesday.

Helena Bonham Carter is convinced her "The King's Speech" co-star Colin Firth is heading for glory at the upcoming Academy Awards, insisting the actor will be nominated for an Oscar and he "will win".

Firth received a nod in the Best Actor category at this year's ceremony for his role in "A Single Man", but lost out to Jeff Bridges, who took gold for his performance as a country singer in "Crazy Heart". It features Kanye riding the gentle piano melody with Teyana Taylor and CyHi Da Prynce. ABC has unveiled the identities of 30 women who compete for Brad Womack's heart on "The Bachelor". The average age of the women is 26 while Womack is 38, but the bachelor told Zap2It, "I've never thought about age until now. I'm beginning to realize I'm an old guy!. No, age has never been an issue. Age is just a number. I'm more concerned about maturity level."

Having done with Richie Sambora few years ago, Denise Richards has reportedly landed her heart on another rocker. The ex-wife of actor Charlie Sheen is said to have been quietly dating Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx, who apparently lives not far from her.

A source close to the 39-year-old actress and the 52-year-old musician says they "have been neighbors for years. They have a lot in common and are taking things slowly." Justin Bieber halted his show in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Monday night, December 13 after a fight broke out in the audience - over the singer's towel. Reality TV star Jason Wahler is facing a lawsuit from his publicists after allegedly failing to pay his bill for their services. The former "The Hills" star is said to owe executives at P3R Publicity $5,000 for their work in raising his profile and they've filed papers in Los Angeles County small claims court to retrieve the cash.

The bosses allege Wahler breached his contract - but insist they're "not entirely shocked" by his behavior. A spokesperson for P3R tells TMZ.com, "Considering Jason Wahler's track record, P3R is disappointed but not entirely shocked by his lack of honor and irresponsible behavior. Perhaps his next reality show should be VH1's Charm School."

Vanessa Hudgens is refusing to dwell on her reported split from Zac Efron - she's celebrating her birthday with a lavish nightclub party in Las Vegas. The actress, who turned 22 years old on Tuesday, December 14, is alleged to have recently parted ways from her "High School Musical" co-star after the relationship "ran its course".

A source told EOnline, "It's nothing dramatic. There's no third party involved. They were together for so long." But Hudgens isn't letting the split ruin her birthday plans - she's heading to Sin City's Pure Nightclub on Saturday, December 18 to mark her big day with an extravagant bash.

"Glee" star Jane Lynch is urging Lindsay Lohan not to "take things so personally" after her addiction troubles were mocked in an episode of the hit show. The "Mean Girls" star is currently serving a three-month, court-ordered stint in California's Betty Ford clinic after failing two drug tests and breaching her probation relating to a 2007 DUI arrest.

Lohan's issues were mentioned in a recent episode of the musical series featuring Gwyneth Paltrow, whose character called the actress "totally crazy" in Spanish and referred to her numerous stints in rehab. The actress is said to have been upset by the remarks, but Lynch, who has previously battled her own addictions, insists Lohan should not let light-hearted jokes get her down.

Michael Madsen has been hit with a lawsuit from director Douglas Green over allegations the actor pulled out of a new movie. Green claims the "Reservoir Dogs" star had agreed to a role in his project "Vigilante" and accepted an initial $20,000 fee.

The director alleges Madsen demanded a further $20,000 before filming began but walked away from the movie when Green refused. Green has filed legal papers against Madsen for breach of contract and he's demanding more than $100,000 in damages, according to TMZ.com.

MTV has started airing the promos for "Jersey Shore" season three. The first one is tagged with "Back to Jersey, Back to Crazy" to remind fans that they are back on the shore after forced to move to Miami last season due to the weather.

"Last summer was crazy in the Jersey Shore but we know each other now and we're going to hit Jersey hard," DJ Pauly D said. Then Vinny made a statement which may intimidate girls in New Jersey and flatter the ones in Miami. "I definitely think that there will be more hook-ups in Seaside," he said.
