Despite her publicist's statement that Demi Lovato "felt awful about her behavior" toward Alex Welch, the "Sonny with a Chance" actress hasn't apologized to the backing dancer. "To this day, I haven't gotten an apology. I've heard nothing," Welch said to People. "That's sad if you think that person is your friend."

Responding to Welch's statement, a source close to Lovato told the publication the Disney star who is currently in rehab for "emotional and physical issues" actually "hasn't been able to call Alex because she is sequestered in treatment." The source further insisted, "But multiple efforts have been made to reach out to her."

Few days away from the U.S. release, "The Fighter" was premiered in Los Angeles on Monday night, December 6. The Grauman's Chinese Theater where the event took place was packed with a number of famous faces as the premiere attracted not only Hollywood stars but also athletes.

While claiming he is still unsure what will happen to Tony Stark, the helmer knows how the third "Iron Man" movie will relate to other Marvel films.

"In theory, 'Iron Man 3' is going to be a sequel or continuation of 'Thor', 'Hulk', 'Captain America' and 'Avengers'," Favreau says. Though so, he claims he does not have any idea what it will look like when it comes time for "Iron Man 3", "This whole world... I have no idea what it is. The contenders of the 38th Annual Annie Awards have just been announced. In TV category, "The Simpsons" grabs four nominations, including a nod for Best Animated Television Production along with "Futurama", "Kung Fu Panda Holiday", "Scared Shrekless" and "Star Wars: The Clone Wars". The Simpson is nominated for episode "The Squirt and the Whale", and "The Clone Wars" is nominated for episode "ARC Troopers".

Michael Jackson's producer pal Eddie Cascio is confident the late King of Pop would approve of the release of his first posthumous album - because he recorded the music for his fans. "Michael", which features previously unheard Jackson material, is set to hit music retailers next week, but its release has not been without controversy.

The singer's longtime producer Quincy Jones has blasted record bosses at Sony for allowing the perfectionist's unfinished songs to be heard by the public, while members of the Jackson family themselves have raised concerns about the authenticity of the vocals. But Cascio, who recorded the songs with Jackson at his home studio in New Jersey, insists critics will be silenced when they hear the tracks in full - because it was all the "Thriller" hitmaker worked on for the four months he lived with Cascio's family in 2007.

Jim Carrey's only daughter Jane has split from her singer husband Alex Santana, just a year after marrying in a secret ceremony. Singer/songwriter Jane Carrey wed Blood Money star Santana in November 2009 and the couple welcomed a baby boy, named Jackson, in February this year.

But 23-year-old Jane and Santana have since parted ways. Confirming the news to In Touch Weekly, the actor's spokeswoman, Marleah Leslie, says, "The couple will remain friends, as well as devoted parents to their nine-month-old son, Jackson Riley."

A plagiarism lawsuit targeting "The View" co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck's diet book has been thrown out by a judge due to lack of evidence. Author Susan Hassett filed legal papers against the U.S. TV personality in 2009, claiming Hasselbeck lifted text from her book, "Living With Celiac Disease", to create her best-seller, "The G-Free Diet: A Gluten-Free Survival Guide".

In the documents filed at a Massachusetts' federal court, Hassett claimed Hasselbeck included "dozens of paraphrased as well as word for word regurgitation's of phrases". A judge rejected the lawsuit on a technicality but Hassett refiled the request.

Former "Frasier" star Kelsey Grammer is preparing to wed for the fourth time after proposing to his girlfriend Kayte Walsh. The actor, 55, split from his wife of 13 years, Camille Donatacci, in July this year and announced a month later that he was expecting a baby with his new love.

Flight attendant Walsh, 29, suffered a miscarriage shortly after revealing the happy news in August but the couple now has something else to look forward to. Confirming the news to UsMagazine.com, Grammer's representative says, "They have been engaged for a while."

Singer/actress Christina Milian is baffled by reports she has been banned from talking about her divorce from R&B producer The-Dream, insisting rumors of a gagging order are "completely" false. The former couple agreed a divorce settlement out of court last month, nine months after the birth of its daughter, Violet.

Details about their split agreement and custody plans were not disclosed and Milian insists that information will never be made public - although she's taken issue with inaccurate claims she's been ordered to remain silent about their brief marriage.

"How to Train Your Dragon" will make DreamWorks come home proudly at the 38th Annual Annie Awards. The International Animated Film Society has announced the nominations list for the upcoming event which is dominated by the movie with 15 nods.

"Dragon" is up against "Despicable Me", "Tangled", "The Illusionist" and "Toy Story 3" for Best Animated Feature prize. It gets two nominations in Animated Effects category, while leading Chris Sanders and Dean DeBlois to compete for a prize in Directing in a Feature Production category.

Actor/rapper Brandon Mychal Smith has been admitted to hospital after struggling to breathe on the set of reality contest "Skating with the Stars". The 21 year old, who starred alongside Demi Lovato in "Sonny with a Chance", is currently competing on the "Dancing with the Stars" spin-off program, alongside rocker Vince Neil and actress Rebecca Budig.

Smith was reportedly suffering from a stomach virus when he arrived at the Los Angeles set for rehearsals on Monday morning, December 6. But the Disney star began experiencing difficulty breathing and was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital, reports TMZ.com.

Prison-bound Wesley Snipes will spend the upcoming holidays behind bars after a judge denied his request to delay his surrender date until the New Year. The "Blade" star and his lawyers have spent two years fighting his 2008 conviction, which found him guilty of failing to file returns or pay tax on earnings of $38 million, dating back to 1999.

He lost his appeal and his battle for a retrial and was recently ordered to turn himself in to Pennsylvania authorities by Thursday, December 9 to begin his three-year sentence for tax evasion. His attorney Daniel Meachum made a last-ditch attempt to postpone the surrender date last week by asking a federal judge in Florida to push back the start of Snipes' jail term until January 6.

Crooner Tony Bennett and his wife Susan Benedetto are to be honored with the ASCAP Foundation Champion Award at the 15th annual prizegiving in New York on December 8. The couple has been selected for the accolade as a token of recognition for its "significant efforts" in arts education.

The singer and his wife founded nonprofit organization Exploring the Arts a decade ago with with the mission of strengthening the role of the arts in public education. Exploring the Arts has grown from serving one New York public high school to serving seven in 2010. A huge concert to mark the 30th anniversary of John Lennon's death is to be held in his hometown of Liverpool, England this week. Artists including The Beatles legend's first band, The Quarrymen, his old pal Tony Sheridan, and former Plastic Ono Band drummer Alan White will all take part in the poignant show.

It will also feature a special preview of The Beatles Sessions, a new musical based around the band's recordings at London's Abbey Road studios, and a performance of the John Lennon - In My Life stage show. The concert will be opened by The Quarrymen, which was reformed by its surviving members in 1997.

Colombian actress Sofia Vergara is set to enter the world of celebrity fashion and beauty products - she's in talks to sign an $8 million deal with U.S. retail giant Kmart. The "Modern Family" star is reportedly being courted by store bosses to front its next advertising campaign, according to the New York Post's Page Six gossip column.

But Vergara won't just serve as the sexy spokesmodel for the brand - she will also introduce her own line of hair, clothing, accessories and beauty items as part of the agreement.

Gorillaz have debuted a music video for their latest single "Welcome to the World of the Plastic Beach." Instead of featuring the members of the animated band, the clip highlights their collaborator Snoop Dogg wearing a captain outfit with a telescope in his hand.

2010 Christmas is not coming yet but Sony Pictures has teased people what could be expected for next year's holiday. The studio has premiered a teaser trailer for "Arthur Christmas", a new story about Santa Clause and his son Arthur.

The sneak peek video does not explain the storyline but it shows an elf and Arthur, who apparently looks like just a normal boy. He loves everything to do with Christmas; indeed, he is the only one in his family still captivated by the magic of the holiday.

Exiting "America's Got Talent", David Hasselhoff is in negotiations to join "Britain's Got Talent". A spokesperson for the "Baywatch" star confirmed that matter to Entertainment Weekly, but insisted the deal is still in its early stage since they have some "scheduling problems" to be settled before the negotiation goes further.

Another source revealed to PopEater that Hasselhoff is actually in talks to replace Simon Cowell who is rumored to move to his new brainchild "The X Factor (US)". According to the publication, Hasselhoff's return to the judge panel of Cowell's reality show will help him put to rest the ugly rumors suggesting he got fired by Cowell from "America's Got Talent".

Cher's son Chaz Bono is set to tell the world about his sex-change in a new documentary film. Bono, whose father is the late Sonny Bono, was born Chastity, but began gender reassignment in 2008 and this year applied to be legally recognised as a man after successfully completing the transformation.

The 41 year old has been documenting the process on camera and the footage has been made into a new film which is set to premiere at next year's Sundance Film Festival in Utah. Bono insists the currently untitled project will show "more than anybody's ever seen before" and he hopes it will fully explain the process.

Johnny Cash's costumes, instruments and handwritten lyrics have smashed original estimates and raised more than $700,000 at auction. The Man In Black's possessions were sold off in Los Angeles in a lengthy three-day auction, which included a staggering 1,000 lots, over the weekend, December 4-5.

The priciest item up for grabs was the famous blue denim jumpsuit worn by Cash in an iconic Jim Marshall photograph, which shows the late star flicking his middle finger to the camera. The item was expected to sell for between $3,000 to $5,000, but soared up to a massive $50,000.

Reformed rockers Faith No More took their final bow in Santiago, Chile on Sunday night, December 5, playing their last show before splitting up. The group thrilled fans in summer 2009 when they re-teamed for a string of dates after an 11-year hiatus, and they even considered returning to the studio to make one last album.

But the musicians decided to bring their reunion to an end and split up after a final farewell show in Chile so they can all move on and focus on new projects. The band took to the stage at the Estadio Bicentenario de La Florida on Sunday and played a massive set, including three encores, before ending with a cover of The Manhattans' "Kiss and Say Goodbye".

"Star Wars" master George Lucas has been buying up the rights to films featuring late screen legends in the hope of using technology to put them together in a new movie. The director plans to use advanced special effects to bring late stars such as Orson Welles and Barbara Stanwyck back to life and depict them alongside present day actors.

Lucas' pal, British actor Mel Smith, explains, "George has been buying up the film rights to dead actors in the hope of using computer trickery to put them all together, so you'd have Orson Welles and Barbara Stanwyck alongside today's stars."

Josh Duhamel has opened up about the day he was booted off a flight for refusing to switch off his cell phone, insisting he has "learned" his "lesson" following the incident. The "Transformers" star was removed from an aircraft at New York's LaGuardia Airport on Thursday, December 2 after he ignored a flight attendant's repeated requests to turn off his BlackBerry device before take-off.

Duhamel has now spoken about the drama for the first time and promised to obey cabin crew's instructions from now on.

People can now keep up with their favorite stars again. Some celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Justin Timberlake, Lady GaGa and Ryan Seacrest have started tweeting again on December 6 after they proclaimed their Digital Deaths on December 1 to raise money for Alicia Keys' Keep a Child Alive organization.

Artists including Pete Doherty, The Kooks and Imogen Heap are recording a track of silence in a bid to topple music mogul Simon Cowell's "The X Factor" winner and score a Christmas number one. They will be joined by the Big Pink and Billy Bragg at Dean Street Studios in London on Monday, December 6 to record the silent song, which they hope will clinch the coveted Christmas number one spot in the U.K. and shut out the contestant who wins Cowell's popular TV show on Sunday, December 12.

The stars will do nothing in the studio as they recreate composer John Cage's experimental score 4'33", which featured a silent orchestra. The supergroup's campaign, dubbed Cage Against the Machine, aims to emulate Rage Against the Machine, who outsold "The X Factor" winner Joe McElderry last year.

Pop star Justin Bieber thrilled a young British fan suffering from a rare genetic condition on Sunday, December 5 after surprising her during his stay in London. Hayley Okines, who suffers from the rapid aging condition Progeria, was able to meet her pop idol thanks to the efforts of a group of Bieber fans who launched a campaign on Twitter.com to bring them together.

Bieber signed autographs and posed for photographs with Okines and her family - and topped off the special visit by offering her tickets to see his next concert in the U.K. He also offered free passes to the kind-hearted group responsible for putting him in touch with Okines.

Stars including Katy Perry, Jessica Alba and Emma Stone flocked to the Hollywood Palladium in California on Sunday, December 5 to help raise money for a suicide prevention organization. Perry took to the stage with "Glee" star Darren Criss to perform a duet of her hit "Teenage Dream", while Alba and funnyman Justin Long spoke to the crowd as part of the Trevor Project's annual Trevor Live comedy and music fundraiser.

Actress Jane Lynch presented Kathy Griffin with an award after the comedienne pledged the profits from her upcoming stand-up show to the crisis hotline for gay youngsters. Queen Latifah also performed, while married couple Taye Diggs and Idina Menzel covered "Ebony and Ivory", and Neil Patrick Harris and James Marsden sang together live - sealing their track with a kiss.

"The Hangover" star Mike Epps clashed with a photographer during a night out with his wife last month after the snapper allegedly harassed the couple. The funnyman was celebrating his wife Michelle's birthday with a bash at the Key Club in Detroit, Michigan when an unnamed man filming the couple allegedly tried to provoke them by hurling insults.

Epps then confronted the videographer and security officers were forced to interfere when a brawl broke out. Epps tells TMZ.com, "It was a private celebration for my wife's birthday. I asked the photographer numerous times not to film, but he refused to let up. I then attempted to retrieve the tape from the camera."

After accompanying Brad Pitt to premiere his film "Megamind" in France, it is Angelina Jolie's turn to get support from her boyfriend to promote her flick. On Monday, December 6, the 35-year-old star stepped on the black carpet of "The Tourist" world premiere with Pitt walking next to her.

A few days before Michael Jackson's self-titled posthumous album makes its way out, two new songs from the effort hit the web. One is titled "Monster" and features the late King of Pop joining forces with 50 Cent, the other is a solo song called "I Like (The Way You Love Me)".

Produced by Teddy Riley, "Monster" is a funky, monstrous beat. "Everywhere you turn a monster/ When you look up into the air there's a monster/ Paparazzi got you scared like a monster," Michael sings in an angry tone. From venting his anger, Michael turns soft in self-written ballad love song "The Way You Love Me".
