The singer was sitting next to Lydon, also known as Johnny Rotten, when he was flying Down Under - and he was infuriated when the controversial star repeatedly passed gas throughout the entire journey.

He tells Britain's The Sun, "He is a f**king nuisance. I was seated next to him on a flight and the whole trip he just kept farting. It was totally foul. He kept saying, 'Oh, that wasn't me' or 'The meal smells a bit off, don't you think?' He drove me insane."

Grammy-winner Ben Harper has altered the date of his separation from Laura Dern on his divorce papers - pushing it back by six months. The singer-songwriter filed for divorce in Los Angeles last month, October 8, citing irreconcilable differences after five years of marriage.

Harper originally claimed in the petition that he split from the "Jurassic Park" actress in January, but on Friday, November 19 the star's lawyer changed the date to state the couple broke up on July 1 instead. No reason was given for the alteration.

Happy Mondays star Bez has been arrested for failing to answer bail following allegations he harassed his ex-girlfriend. The dancer/percussionist's former partner Monica Ward accused him of breaching his restraining order by calling and sending her text messages after he was found guilty in August of attacking her during a domestic dispute.

Bez, real name Mark Berry, was jailed for a month and banned from contacting Ward for two years after he refused to carry out his community service sentence. Police officers launched a search for the star earlier this week after he missed his last scheduled bail appointment on November 17 and they were unable to contact him.

Axl Rose is suing the bosses behind popular game series Guitar Hero for more than $20 million for alleged breach of contract and fraud. The Guns N' Roses frontman filed a lawsuit on Tuesday, November 23 at Los Angeles Superior Court claiming Activision Blizzard chiefs "fraudulently induced" him into authorizing the band's song "Welcome to the Jungle" in Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock.

Rose claims bosses promised him the game wouldn't feature any reference to his former bandmate Slash or the guitarist's band Velvet Revolver, before releasing a cover featuring "an animated depiction of Slash, with his signature black top hat, long dark curly hair, dark sunglasses and nose-piercing".

British actress Emilia Fox is celebrating after giving birth to a baby daughter. "The Pianist" star announced she was expecting her first child with her actor boyfriend Jeremy Gilley earlier this year.

The couple welcomed their new addition into the world last week and Fox debuted her daughter as she was photographed carrying her baby out of her London home. Fox's baby joy comes three years after she suffered a miscarriage when she was pregnant by her ex-husband, "Mad Men" actor Jared Harris.

Prince William and his bride-to-be Kate Middleton chose an extra-special date for their nuptials - the day of the Feast of St Catherine. The couple announced on Tuesday, November 23 they will wed at London's Westminster Abbey on April 29 next year following their engagement in October.

And it later emerged they chose a date that reflects Middleton's real first name Catherine - 29 April is the date of the Feast of Saint Catherine of Siena, lauded as one of the greatest female saints of the Catholic Church. Want to see an animal with musical talent beside Alvin and the Chipmunks, then "Hop" is the answer. The upcoming film, which mixes animation and live-action, will feature "candy, chicks and rock 'n' roll' and it has been previewed in a teaser trailer debuted via Moviefone.

It was reported that RCA Records is making use of the press attention around Christina Aguilera whose debut movie "Burlesque" is opening in U.S. theaters on Wednesday, November 24. The label was said thinking of re-releasing her sixth studio album "Bionic" which didn't do as well as her other releases in terms of sale.

In an interview with RCA vice president Scott Seviour, Billboard quoted him as saying, "It's not like the music industry, where the talent comes out two weeks before the album. They started at the end of July." He was referring to Aguilera's canceled summer tour. He added, " 'Burlesque' ideally gives us the opportunity to remarket 'Bionic'."

British pop star Kimberley Walsh is following in her Girls Aloud bandmate Sarah Harding's footsteps - she's landed a supporting role in an upcoming movie. The members of the girl group made brief appearances in 2007's St. Trinian's playing school band members, with Harding going on to land a bigger part in the sequel.

Soul icon Gladys Knight has launched an environmentally-friendly jewelery line. The singer has teamed up with the elders of an African tribe who craft trash into rings, necklaces, bracelets and earrings.

She says, "I wanted to do something to be green and I met this company... and they were doing some wonderful things with an African tribe in Ghana and they were recycling all these wonderful materials and I wanted a line like that, so we came together with this tribe and they get part of this money."

U2 are giving U.S. independent record stores a big boost this holiday season by releasing a new three-track vinyl EP on Friday, Novemeber 26. "Wide Awake in Europe" will be released exclusively to select record stores on America's busiest shopping day of the year, traditionally called Black Friday.

Funnyman-turned-U.S. TV host George Lopez's wife Ann is moving forward with plans to make their split official - she filed divorce papers on Tuesday, November 23. The couple, which has been married for 17 years and has a 15-year-old daughter, Mayan, announced it had parted ways earlier this year.

His opening monologue is just an introduction of who he is and several "bla bla blas". In the first sketch, he's spoofing "Macgruber" with "Macarooner". "Weekend Update" is replaced with "Fake News" while the musical guest presents Monster GaGa.

For 2011, Warner Bros. Pictures has prepared at least two horror thrillers, "Final Destination 5" and "The Apparition", to treat moviegoers. Now the studio has given early taste of both films by releasing the first stills.

From the fifth "Final Destination" movie, there is a picture of Emma Bell who looks terrified while her mouth is covered with a hand. Additionally, another photo shows Nicholas D'Agosto who seemingly has just saved Jacqueline MacInnes Wood from something which could be bad.

Soul legend Gladys Knight has been chosen to perform on the fabled Apollo Theater's first float at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. The "Midnight Train to Georgia" singer, 75, who was inducted into the Apollo's Hall of Fame in 2006, will sing festive tunes during the three-mile, three-hour New York parade on Thursday, November 25.

Knight says, "I was so excited when I got that call... The Apollo was more more than just a theater; they were mentors for us. They taught us things. I love the Apollo."

Britney Spears' mother has lost her bid to have a defamation lawsuit filed against her by the pop star's former manager Sam Lutfi thrown out of court. Lutfi filed suit against the "Toxic" hitmaker and her parents Jamie and Lynne Spears in February 2009, objecting to controversial comments made in Lynn's 2009 memoir "Through The Storm".

He alleged claims Lynne made in her book, in which she branded him a "fake" and a "predator", subjected him to public ridicule and he sued for defamation, libel, battery, breach of contract, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Liam Gallagher's new band will debut as a live act with six British shows in March 2011. Beady Eye, which also features the singer's Oasis bandmates Gem Archer and Andy Bell, have just released their first track, "Bring the Light", and now the quintet are readying a European tour in 2011.

Iconic horror movie star Ingrid Pitt has died, aged 73. The actress, dubbed the Queen of Horror for her roles in classic Hammer films throughout the 1970s, collapsed in London last week on her way to a fan event. She passed away on Tuesday morning, November 23.

"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I" will make itself memorable in movie industry for it continues breaking record. After marking the best bow for the franchise, the movie has broken worldwide opening record for IMAX theaters, IMAX Corporation announced on Tuesday, November 23.

The first part of the last two installments from "Harry Potter" movie series grossed $16.1 million globally in IMAX(R) theaters which is bigger than previous records. $11.8 million of the total number was from the running in 239 domestic IMAX screens, while $4.3 million was a result from the screenings in 101 international IMAX theaters.

John Lennon's handwritten lyrics for the The Beatles song "I'm Only Sleeping" are expected to fetch up to $525,000 when they go up for auction in London in December. The late rocker scribbled down the words on the back of a phone bill demanding payment for an outstanding bill.

Singer/songwriter Chynna Phillips and her actor husband Billy Baldwin have put the nightmare of their divorce proceedings behind them for good - they've renewed their wedding vows. Hollywood star Bruce Willis has become the unlikely face of a top Russian bank. The "Die Hard" tough guy will represent Trust Bank in Moscow for at least a year, replacing late Russian weightlifter and actor Vladimir Turchinsky, who died in 2009 at the age of 46.

A U.S. judge has banned the makers of Italian thriller "Giallo" from using Adrien Brody's image - until the actor is paid for his role. The Oscar winner was promised a 'play-or-pay' deal to star in director Dario Argento's movie, meaning he would receive his $640,000 fee whether the film was made or not.

Once production started on the film, Brody claims he found out the movie was not properly funded and his fee had not been paid into a third-party holding account. He alleges that he signed a new contract and agreed to defer payment, but only if he was allowed to have "absolute right to withhold consent" of his image in the movie until he was paid.

Actor Mark Ruffalo has been placed on a terror advisory list by U.S. officials after organizing screenings for a new documentary about natural gas drilling. The "Zodiac" actor arranged showings for GasLand earlier this year and voiced his concerns about the affects the practice is having on America's water supplies.

He recalls, "I was a youngster and Michael Gambon - who plays the fabulous Dumbledore - he's quite a guy, he's an amazing actor. I remember working with him for the very first time with his four foot beard and crazy hair."

David Duchovny has received a slew of scathing reviews for his Broadway debut - his performance in "The Break of Noon" has been branded "bland", "dull" and "monotonous". Charlie Sheen offered to pay a model $20,000 in cash to "cover everything" just hours after he reportedly trashed a hotel room in New York, according to a new report. The "Two and a Half Men" actor made headlines in October when police were called to his suite at the Plaza Hotel in the Big Apple amid claims he wrecked a room during a night with Capri Anderson.

On Monday. November 22, Anderson broke her silence in a series of TV interviews, claiming she locked herself in the bathroom as Sheen hurled items around the room in a rage. The first trailer for "Mars Needs Moms!" has been made available for viewing pleasure via Yahoo! Movies. It centers its story on Milo who finds out just how much he needs his mom when she's nabbed by Martians who plan to steal her mom-ness for their own young.

But the nine-year-old boy has a chance to save his mom since he is sucked into the same spaceship which takes her away. With the help of a tech-savvy, underground earthman named Gribble and a rebel Martian girl called Ki, Milo just might find his way back to his mom - in more ways than one.

Dance music duo Massive Attack are donating all the proceeds from their new mini-album to the War Child charity. Robert Del Naja and Grant Marshall are longstanding supporters of the organization, working with charity bosses to highlight the plight of needy kids in areas of conflict such as Bosnia and Sarajevo.

And they've pledged to boost the cause's funds with their new release, "Atlas Air". Del Naja tells BBC 6 Music, "They do a lot of great work in different territories which aren't really that newsworthy anymore maybe."

Singer Nicole Scherzinger has admitted she's to blame for a series of reports she's desperate for children - because she told journalists she is "broody" without realizing what it meant. The Pussycat Dolls star, who is dating British racing driver Lewis Hamilton, told in September how she was eying marriage with the sports ace and wanted to start a family, adding "I'm feeling broody."

But the American singer now insists children are not on the horizon - and she gave reporters the wrong impression because she didn't know the British word "broody" means longing for kids.

Rod Stewart is "over the moon" after his son Sean announced he is engaged to be married. The singer's 30-year-old son, with his ex-wife Alana Hamilton, has proposed to actress/model Chantel Kendall, who is nine years his senior.

Wahlberg admits he didn't consider a career in movies until Marshall pointed him in the right direction and cast him in her 1994 comedy "Renaissance Man". He tells the Hollywood Reporter, "When I sat down with her, I was like, 'Nah, I don't wanna act.' She goes, 'What do you mean? You're acting all the time, you're acting right now. You know, you're just acting like you're cool, you act like a tough guy. You know, take the pages. Go outside, look 'em over, and then come back in, and, and audition for one of the parts'."

Ralph Fiennes suffered for his art on the set of the "Harry Potter" movies - the actor spent two and a half hours in make-up every day and was unable to eat once the prosthetics had been applied to his face. The Brit plays villainous Lord Voldemort in the wizard franchise and he had to undergo a total transformation to take on the character's creepy appearance.

Fiennes wore a prosthetic nose and fake teeth and the uncomfortable make-up meant he had to go hungry whenever he was working. He tells the New York Post, "Every day I was shooting, I had to spend an extra two and a half hours just to get into make-up. It was difficult because on top of everything else I couldn't get any break from it. Besides the actual prosthesis, my character also had a set of fake false teeth. When we broke for lunch, I couldn't eat. I had to take them out each time I wanted anything."

Ray Winstone has blamed his former money struggles on his laid-back attitude, insisting he could have secured his finances if he had bothered to keep track of his spending. The "Sexy Beast" star's career stalled in the 1980s and he was forced to file for bankruptcy twice as he spiraled into debt.

"Crocodile Dundee" star Paul Hogan is breathing a sigh of relief after Australian officials dropped a criminal investigation into his tax dealings. The actor has been accused of using offshore bank accounts to conceal his earnings and is said to owe an estimated $32.1 million to the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).

But Australian Crime Commission Chief Executive John Lawler announced on Tuesday, November 23 that detectives will not pursue the case because of "insufficient prospects of securing convictions". Hogan's lawyer, Andrew Robinson, admitted the end of the criminal probe had provided his client with "immense relief".

In this competition, the Warblers will be performing "Hey Soul Sister" while the Hipsters will be performing "The Living Years." New Directions will do two songs, "The Time of My Life" which is a duet by Quinn and Sam, as well as "Valerie" which is a solo by Santana. There's another song which has been confirmed to appear in the episode, Florence and the Machine's "Dog Days Are Over".

"Ugly Betty" and "Step Up 3-D" actor Michael Brea has been accused of murdering his own mother by slicing her head with a 3-foot long samurai sword, TMZ reported. The 31-year-old actor was taken into custody in Brooklyn on Tuesday morning, November 23.

According to the police, Michael cut off the head of his 55-year-old mother Yannick Brea while babbling about religion and repentance in their Brooklyn, New York home. When cops arrived at the scene at around 2:20 A.M., Brea reportedly clutched a bible. Police described the scenes as "extremely bloody."

Black Eyed Peas have released a music video for "The Time (Dirty Bit)" which is lifted from the group's latest studio album "The Beginning". Sampling the "Dirty Dancing" soundtrack "(I've Had) The Time of My Life", the song is the first single from the November 30 effort.

The music video, which was released via Dipdive, stays true to the up-beat mood, showing club scenes as well as fast-moving city life. It also shows will.i.am and his friends in their avatar versions which are used on the album's cover art. The video was shot in Los Angeles last month.

"Weeds" star Jennifer Jason Leigh is pulling the plug off her marriage to director Noah Baumbach, after only eight months from the birth of their son Rohmer Emmanuel. Jennifer filed for divorce from Noah in Los Angeles Superior Court on last Monday, November 15, People reported.

In the divorce papers, Jennifer cited irreconcilable differences and is seeking spousal support and primary custody of Rohmer but would let Noah to have visitation. However, when the 48-year-old actress' rep was asked further about the split, the rep refused to comment.

Warner Bros. Pictures has unleashed the first still from "Sherlock Holmes 2", giving the official look at Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law and Noomi Rapace in the film. In the picture, the three lead stars are seen running away from a blown up forest with the two men having visible injuries.

"Sherlock Holmes" sequel will follow the world's most famous detective, Sherlock Holmes, and his longtime trusted associate, Dr. Watson, as they match wits with their arch-nemesis, the criminal genius Moriarty. While Holmes and Watson are still portrayed by Downey Jr. and Law respectively, Jared Harris is cast to play Moriarty.
