Mickey Rourke stars as a convict in a Mexican prison who is sold into the competition which adapts Russian Roulette style. Ray Winstone plays a competitor who has been sprung from a mental institution to participate, while 50 Cent is cast as an employee assigned to escort Rourke's character to the bloody game.

Carrie Underwood's brand new song which is crafted for "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader" has been dropped for digital download on iTunes. The song has slow beat which gives enough space for the "American Idol" singer to belt her high notes.

Kid Rock will kick off his 2011 Born Free Tour two days before his 40th birthday with a party show at Ford Field in his native Detroit, Michigan. The football stadium will be renamed 40 Field for the concert on January 15, 2011.

Kid Rock will hit the road with his Twisted Brown Trucker Band and support act Jamey Johnson, as well as surprise guests. The first leg of the tour will end on March 12, 2011 in Memphis, Tennessee.

Toni Braxton has opened up about her secret struggle with lupus, revealing the health battle during a speech at a benefit lunch to raise awareness of the illness. The "Unbreak My Heart" singer stunned guests at the 8th Annual Lupus Bag Ladies Luncheon in Los Angeles on Tuesday, November 16 by admitting she too had to deal with the autoimmune disease on a daily basis.

Reality TV producer Bruce Beresford-Redman was arrested in Los Angeles on Tuesday, November 16 in connection with the death of his wife. Earlier this year, Mexican prosecutors filed a formal request with U.S. authorities to extradite the "Survivor" boss after he left the country as police investigated the death of his partner Monica.

Her body was found in a sewer near the hotel where the couple was vacationing in April. Beresford-Redman returned to Los Angeles and vowed to fight the extradition request, but was forced to give up custody of his two kids - who were handed to his parents earlier this month.

New York City planning officials have given the go-ahead for Robert De Niro's plans to alter the penthouse roof on his Manhattan hotel. In 2008, the legendary actor was ordered to modify the top of his Greenwich Hotel after the Big Apple's Landmark Preservation Commission (LPC) insisted the structure was too large and was built without approval.

He initially refused to re-scale the roof and insisted that "mistakes" were to blame for his non-compliance. However, on Tuesday, November 16 the actor attended a meeting with LPC executives and his architect to unveils ideas for a re-design, and officials approved the plans.

Rosie O'Donnell has received the all clear after undergoing biopsies to determine whether two lumps in her breasts were cancerous. The "A League of Their Own" actress, 48, feared she was facing a battle with the killer disease after doctors found worrying shadows during a routine MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) scan.

She underwent biopsies on both breasts earlier this month and was thrilled when she received a text message giving her the all-clear. On a blog update entitled "Cancer Free", the star writes, "A two word text/and everything changes/thank you/amen."

Oksana Grigorieva's doctor feared the singer had suffered a concussion after her alleged bust-up with ex-boyfriend Mel Gibson - and urged her to go for a brain scan. The former couple is currently fighting it out in the courts for custody of their daughter Lucia after splitting earlier this year.

The second batch of "Teen Mom" will premiere in January next year, Executive Producer Morgan J. Freeman announced on Tuesday, November 16. The reality show follows the lives of teenage girls during their first year of motherhood after "16 and Pregnant".

When Fabious' bride-to-be Belladonna gets kidnapped by the evil wizard Leezar, the king gives his deadbeat son an ultimatum: Man up and help rescue her or get cut off. Embarking on an adventure with his brother and female warrior Isabel, Thadeous will help his brother prevent the destruction of his land.

"Weeds" wrapped up its sixth season this Monday, November 15 with a shocking twist and some cliffhangers. Creator Jenji Kohan talked to TV Guide of how the show will get from there and one particular answer strikes out. The show is going to end next year, if Kohan has the sole say.

"In my mind, it is," Kohan revealed. "Everyone's contract is up next year, [including] the actors and mine. Seven years is a good run, and I'd rather leave while on top. I'd never say never, but I have a feeling this might be it." The finale's rating was up 0.1 from the previous week with adults 18-49.

The "Common People" hitmakers will also play at the Primavera Sound Festival in Barcelona, Spain.

"Cars 2" is not going to hit theaters until June 24, 2011, but Walt Disney Pictures has been gearing up to the release by debuting not only one, but two new teaser trailers. The domestic and international trailers have some different scenes but both lead to Mater's adventure of international espionage.

In this "Cars" sequel, Lightning McQueen and Mater the tow truck head overseas to compete in the first-ever World Grand Prix to determine the world's fastest car. But Mater gets caught up in an intriguing adventure of his own and is torn between assisting Lightning McQueen in the high-profile race and towing the line in a top-secret spy mission.

Romantic British royal Prince William carried his late mother's engagement ring around Africa with him in a rucksack for two weeks before proposing to girlfriend Kate Middleton last month. The couple announced its engagement via Twitter.com on Tuesday, November 16 and then staged a photocall/press conference to show off the diamond-and-sapphire ring and talk about the engagement.

Ashton Kutcher is doing a role changing, playing a prank on TMZ staff and the celebrity website's head honcho Harvey Levin. In a clip released by Popchips, the actor relives his "Punk'd" days to imitate Levin complete with the leaning-on-cubicle gesture and the drink. His staff are portrayed by Lake Bell among others.

They discover that TMZ's Charles Latibeaudiere was in a rush to get home, and one staff suggests that he was having an affair. Then the camera captures Levin making a phone call to a person named David, and the staff immediately speculated that it was David Alan Grier.

Lee DeWyze has got his first music video, which was filmed to support his debut single "Sweet Serendipity", made available for viewing pleasure. It features him and his love interest walking through the streets in separate scenes. He is walking at night, while she wanders on her own during the day.

"Sweet Serendipity" is the lead single from DeWyze's upcoming studio album "Live It Up" which is slated for November 16 U.S. release. It actually was not the first choice for a lead single. He previously planned to release title track of the album, but changed it few hours before the release.

The fire that destroyed personal memorabilia belonging to Neil Young started in one of his prized vintage cars. The veteran rocker lost a number of items earlier this month when a warehouse in San Francisco Bay, California went up in flames.

Young stored a collection of paintings and musical instruments in the space, along with six classic cars. Staff members were able to salvage 70 per cent of the items.

Beyonce Knowles's parents Mathew and Tina Knowles have had their divorce case dismissed after failing to appear in court. The "Crazy in Love" superstar's stylist mum filed papers in Harris County, Texas in November 2009 to put an end to her 29-year marriage.

The news emerged weeks after Mathew Knowles, Beyonce's manager, was accused of fathering a child with Los Angeles resident Alexsandra Wright. Reclusive model/actress Jane Holzer has testified in a New York court about how she was tricked into handing over $220,000 to an alleged conman for a stolen Andy Warhol painting. Holzer, the pop artist's former protegee, took the stand at Manhattan Supreme Court on Monday, November 15 to give evidence against James Biear, an ex-chauffeur who was charged with fraud in 2009.

Biear is accused of stealing 11 Warhol works from his former employer, elderly art collector Kenward Elmslie, and transferring $3.2 million from one of the ailing millionaire's bank accounts into his own. The defendant is said to have later sold one of the works - Warhol's famous Heinz 57 wooden ketchup crate - to Holzer for $220,000 and she told the court how she spent a further $20,000 to have the painting restored, reports the New York Post.

Embattled actor Randy Quaid and his wife Evi Quaid have missed yet another hearing in California after failing to show up at Santa Barbara Superior Court to face vandalism charges. The couple was due to appear before Judge Donna Geck on Tuesday, November 16 for an arraignment on felony counts stemming from an arrest in September, when they were accused of illegally squatting in a California home they once owned.

The Quaids have skipped their last three court hearings relating to the charges and are seeking asylum in Canada, insisting they fear for their welfare if they return to California. An arrest warrant was issued for Evi Quaid earlier this month, and now Judge Geck has activated a bench warrant for "Brokeback Mountain" star Randy too.

Oksana Grigorieva resorted to recording her phone conversations with ex-boyfriend Mel Gibson in a bid to gather evidence for prosecutors in the event she was murdered. The former couple is locked in a bitter custody battle over baby daughter Lucia following a split earlier this year and Gibson's name has been dragged through the tabloids since the Russian singer accused him of attacking her during a heated argument in January.

Grigorieva claims she feared for her life after the alleged incident, when she is said to have suffered bruising and had two of her teeth knocked out. Tape recordings of her subsequent phone calls with Gibson have since leaked online and Grigorieva admits she felt the need to document the arguments because she was convinced she would end up dead, reports TMZ.com.

"(It's) the first time I've heard that," the "The Last Exorcism" director says when asked about Stewart's casting report. As for how he will translate the French horror for new audience, Stamm explained, "Martyrs is very nihilistic. The Beatles have finally entered the digital age - their music became available online on Tuesday, November 16 after more than two years of negotiations. Staff at EMI, the company that owns the Beatles' recordings, have long been in talks with surviving bandmembers Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr to put the Fab Four's back catalog on the iTunes store.

McCartney told earlier this year of his frustration as the negotiations repeatedly stalled - but the waiting is now over for fans after Apple chiefs announced on Tuesday that the band's albums are available to download. The iTunes website, run by Apple, now features a photo of the band on its homepage and is offering a large range of Beatles music for sale, including a box set of albums and a live concert film.

Mila Kunis has credited Justin Timberlake with dispelling her nerves as they filmed sex scenes together by cracking jokes throughout their time in bed. Latin singer Paulina Rubio has given birth to her first child. The Grammy-nominated Mexican star welcomed a baby boy on Monday, November 15 and named the tot Nicolas after his father, her Spanish businessman husband, Nicolas Vallejo Najera.

Rubio reportedly planned to have a water birth at home over the weekend but was admitted to hospital on Saturday due to complications. Baby Nicolas was born via Caesarean section on Monday morning, weighing in at a healthy eight pounds (3.6 kilograms), according to Celestrellas.com.

A woman who claims Lil Wayne fathered a child back in 2002 has blamed Hurricane Katrina for delaying earlier attempts to prove paternity. The rapper is facing a legal battle over allegations he fathered a son with an unnamed woman eight years ago and he has been ordered to take a DNA test to prove whether he is the youngster's biological father.

The boy's grandmother has filed the legal action and her attorney tells TMZ.com the family "tried multiple times to get a paternity test" through the court system in New Orleans, Louisiana but the case suffered years of delays after Hurricane Katrina hit in 2005 and destroyed numerous court records.

The movie is described as "the story of three life long friends from upper middle class Long Island, who delve into the underworlds of heroin" - and the actress' brother Michael Lohan, Jr. will star in the picture, according to TMZ.com. "Growing Defiant" will begin shooting early next year.

British pop star Rachel Stevens is a first-time mum after giving birth to a baby girl on Tuesday, November 16. The former S Club 7 singer and her husband Alex Bourne welcomed the tot in the early hours of the morning at London's exclusive Portland Hospital.

Take That star Howard Donald has been waging a secret court battle to prevent publication of details of his romance with an ex-girlfriend. Donald, who is currently preparing for the British boyband's hotly-anticipated reunion tour with Robbie Williams in 2011, called in his legal team earlier this year after he discovered Adakini Ntuli was preparing to sell her story.

Police officers paid a visit to the home of beleaguered boxer Floyd Mayweather, Jr. on Monday night, November 15 after a security guard accused the sports star of striking him in the face. The unnamed private security guard was patrolling Mayweather, Jr.'s gated community in Las Vegas when he drove up to the boxer's house to talk to him about a parking dispute.

The guard subsequently called cops alleging Mayweather, Jr. reached into his cA ar and struck him in the face, according to TMZ.com. Debuted by Apple, the teaser trailer follows the ordinary life of Hal Jordan as a test pilot and how he now has a big responsibility after a dying alien named Abin Sur gives him a green energy-powered ring used to protect the planet.

This season's "Dancing with the Stars" contestants Bristol Palin and The Situation have become fast friends, and together they appeared on a PSA to discuss the importance of safe sex. "We wanted to create a video that wasn't necessarily a story, following the song," he previously told MTV. "It didn't necessarily have to be on the nose. We wanted something that was visually stimulating, a lot of cool camera techniques that haven't been used, a lot of saturated colors. So I'm excited about that too. The fans should have that in a few weeks."
