A representative for Christina Aguilera has dismissed rumors linking the newly-single singer to lesbian DJ Samantha Ronson - insisting they are "nothing more" than just good friends. The "Dirrty" hitmaker announced her split from husband Jordan Bratman last week and subsequently filed divorce papers in a bid to officially end the union.

After news of the separation surfaced, the pop star was spotted spending time with Ronson, who previously dated actress Lindsay Lohan, leading to rumors linking the women romantically. But a rep for Aguilera is adamant the stories are not true, telling the Chicago Sun-Times, "(It is) a good, longtime friendship and nothing more than that."

A music video for Jamey Johnson's "Playing the Part" has made its way out. Directed by Matthew McConaughey, it follows a man dressed in a gorilla suit walking around the streets of Los Angeles after he gets fired from his job as a sign holder. He finally ends up in a bar where Johnson plays with his band.

"Jamey and this song both have a great sense of humor, so I wanted the video to have a 'wink' to it," McConaughey told Entertainment Tonight. "For any video, if you like the song, you should like it even more after you see the video. I wanted this video to support the lyrics, and elevate the song."

Johnny Depp is seemingly enjoying working together with Rob Marshall. Currently filming "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" under the direction of Marshall, the actor is reportedly already eying another collaboration with the helmer for his next-starring vehicle "The Thin Man".

According to New York Magazine's Vulture, Depp "has been aggressively courting" the "Nine" director to direct him once again in the remake of the 1934 film. Keshia Chante has a music video coming out to support her new single "Test Drive". The ex-girlfriend of Canadian rapper Drake gets help from a guy when her car breaks down and then goes to a test drive with another man. One of the men in the clip is played by her real-life boyfriend, hockey player Ray Emery.

"Test Drive" is a song recorded for Keshia's upcoming studio album "Night & Day". The track talks about the importance of test-driving a new relationship to make sure you make a right decision. "That'd get us through the part when you first meet someone you like and all you can see is the glitter before you find out who they really are," she said in an interview with Sway magazine.

"The Rite", another ghost exorcism-themed movie, is picked up by Warner Bros. Pictures. The first trailer for the film, which is claimed to be inspired by a true story, is now available for viewing pleasure via Apple after it was debuted during 2010 Scream Awards.

U.S. TV actor John Larroquette will make his Broadway debut as Daniel Radcliffe's boss in the upcoming revival of musical "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying".

The "Boston Legal" star, who is a five-time Emmy Award winner, has only ever starred in off-Broadway productions, but will make his first appearance in the iconic New York theater district as company mogul J.B. "If I Stay" is based on Gayle Forman's novel of the same name and tells the story of classical musician Mia and her boyfriend Adam, who is a rising star in the indie rock world. Torn between two paths in life, her art and her relationship, Mia is forced to make a harder choice between life and death when she is caught in a fatal car accident with her family one snowy morning in Oregon. Fanning is likely to play Mia.

Lady GaGa was forced to delay her concerts in Paris and she apologized to fans for the inconvenience. The shows were supposed to be held at Bercy in Paris on October 22 and 23 but were postponed as a resulf of some "logistical difficulties due to the strikes" in the region.

"Unfortunately, as there is no certainty that the trucks can make it to the Bercy for this weekend's shows, the Lady GaGa performances are now postponed," it was explained. "The December 19th concert will replace the 22-October show and December 20th concert will replace the 23-October performance."

Wood and Mick Taylor are secretly planning to team up at the December 1 charity show, which organizers hope will raise vital funds to keep the club open into 2011.

Rent rises in London have crippled the club's bosses in recent months and owner Jeff Horton has threatened to close the 100 Club at Christmas unless he gets aid to help him with the spiraling costs. Lisa Marie Presley is haunted by the death of her ex-husband Michael Jackson- because she believes she could have helped him turn his life around if she had known the King of Pop was so ill. Walt Disney Pictures has released the first teaser trailer for "Cars 2". Barely sharing any scene from the movie, the video teases that the upcoming animation will feature "the most advanced technology", "the most exotic locations" and "the world's newest secret agents" with "the most dangerous assignments".

The said "secret agents" are apparently none other than beloved characters from "Cars", Lightning McQueen and Mater, as they are exposed at the end of the teaser. Michael Douglas' publicist has shot down reports the movie star froze his sperm before undergoing treatment for cancer so he and wife Catherine Zeta-Jones could become parents again. Former Bond girl Denise Richards has joined the cast of risque U.S. TV comedy "Blue Mountain State" for the raunchy series' second season. Former Playboy model Angela Dorian has pleaded not guilty to a charge of attempted murder following the shooting of her boyfriend on Saturday, October 16. The Sixties' pin-up, who became the magazine's Playmate of the Year in 1968, was arrested after allegedly firing a handgun at her partner during a fight at their Hollywood apartment.

The unidentified lover was admitted to hospital and is expected to make a full recovery. Dorian was placed on $1 million bail and appeared before a judge on Wednesday, October 20, when she entered her plea, reports TMZ.

Angelina Jolie has found herself at the center of a rent scam controversy in Hungary after a security guard allegedly conned the star out of $2,750 to let her film in a building he didn't own. The Hollywood actress is currently shooting an as-yet-untitled Bosnian war drama in the country and had reportedly scouted out a warehouse in Budapest to use in the production.

She negotiated a fee with the onsite guard, who had posed as the property owner, and handed over the sum - only to discover the lease was illegal. One of the warehouse owners tells AFP, "My partner called to ask if I knew about a film shoot in our building. And he said, 'You'll never guess (which star is involved) - it's Angelina Jolie!' (The guard) thought we wouldn't find out about it, because we hardly ever go to the building."

Christopher Lloyd who is better known as Dr. Emmett L. "Doc" Brown in 1980s classic "Back to the Future" will be guest starring on FOX's "Fringe" early next year. Lloyd is due to film his cameo next week in Vancouver and the episode will be aired as the tenth episode of this season.

The casting news came from TV Guide which also dug information from John Noble about the role. "We all know how much Walter loves music, right? Well this fellow was one of his icons," Noble revealed. "He adored this man. So Walter gets to be a bit of a fanboy."

SAG and AFTRA have called off their boycott on the production of "The Hobbit". Both organizations released a statement on October 20 after sister union New Zealand Actors Equity asked them to do so, allowing actors to accept jobs from the project.

A former Playboy model has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly shooting her boyfriend on Saturday, October 16. Angela Dorian, who was the magazine's Playmate of the Year in 1968, was arrested and put behind bars after allegedly firing a handgun at her partner during a fight at their Hollywood apartment, reports TMZ.com.

Her unnamed boyfriend was admitted to a nearby hospital and is expected to make a full recovery. Dorian is currently being held in custody with her bail set at $1 million. She faces up to life in prison if convicted.

TV bosses behind Jimmy Smits' canceled drama series "Outlaw" are facing legal action from an attorney who alleges he pitched a similar idea to executives at the NBC network in 2007. Lawyer Larry Klayman claims to have joined forces with producer Cary Brokaw, former "L.A. Law" writer John Romano and Fox Television Studios executive Dave Madden to meet with NBC bosses to discuss the idea of a show based on a crusading attorney.

Klayman alleges "Outlaw", which starred Smits as a Supreme Court Justice starting up his own law firm, was based on his concept and insists he even suggested the same name. He is now considering taking legal action over the allegations, telling the New York Daily News, "I'm going to try to negotiate first, (but) I wouldn't be Larry Klayman if I didn't bring a lawsuit."

After a lot of on-set pictures and videos which teased how "Transformers 3" will look like, Lorenzo di Bonaventura has promised that the movie will have more comedy in addition to the action sequences. Speaking to IGN, the producer says, "What you can expect is more comedy than we've ever had before."

While "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" has featured a lot of explosions, Bonaventura reveals that audience "can expect bigger action sequences than we've ever had before" in the upcoming movie. He further teases, "And you can expect a different character through-line for our lead because he's [Shia LaBeouf] a little bit older and Rosie's a little bit older - there's a maturity there that didn't exist before."

A representative for Victoria Adams has defended the star after her new handbag collection came under fire from members of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). The animal rights group is fuming over Beckham's latest collection, which features purses made from crocodile and lizard skin, as well as calf leather.

But a spokeswoman for the star has brushed off the criticism, insisting the accessories adhere to strict guidelines in the production process. The rep says, "Everyone is entitled to personal opinion and choice, but as with all Victoria Beckham products, the handbags are made to the highest quality and design."

Lil Wayne's latest studio album "I'm Not a Human Being" was among the contenders to debut at No. 1 on Billboard Hot 200, but it's not until its third week on sale that the effort finally leads the U.S. albums chart. The rap album leaps from No. 16 to No. 1 with 125,000 copies (up 443%). It becomes the largest jump to No. 1 since Radiohead's "In Rainbows" climbed up from No. 156 in 2008.

"Not a Human Being" was released across United States on September 27 while Weezy was still in jail. It was blocked by Kenny Chesney's "Hemingway's Whiskey" on its way to the top, arriving on the chart at No. 2 with 110,000. It was then kicked out of the Top 10 in the following week with 23,000 units.

Lady GaGa has been named the most popular artist on British radio after topping an airplay chart. The "Poker Face" hitmaker has dominated the airwaves in the U.K. over the last 12 months and her music has been played on the radio a massive 275,000 times, according to chart compilers Nielsen.

GaGa saw off competition from last year's title-holders Take That to take the crown and the poll reveals GaGa's most-played song is her hit "Bad Romance". A statement from Nielsen reads, "Lady Gaga has had phenomenal success during 2010, ratcheting up an enormous number of radio plays in the last year."

"True Blood" star Joe Manganiello suffered a creepy experience with a fan at a recent comic book convention - he was targeted by a woman who was convinced his saliva has supernatural healing properties.

The actor, who plays werewolf Alcide in the hit vampire show, was attending the Comic Con event in New York earlier this month when he was approached by a strange lady who tried to collect his spit. Manganiello reveals the unnamed fan "had heard werewolf saliva could heal any ailment" and she was wrestled away by security guards before she could get close enough to test her theory, according to the New York Daily News.

British actress Carey Mulligan is set to be honored as this year's breakthrough star at California's upcoming Palm Springs International Film Festival. The Oscar-nominated "An Education" star will be celebrated for her work in films "Never Let Me Go" and "Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps" at the festival's awards gala at the Palm Springs Convention Center on January 8.

Festival chairman Harold Matzner calls the 25 year old "an actress of extraordinary talent and versatility," adding, "In her most recent performances as the estranged daughter of Gordon Gekko in Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps to Never Let Me Go, where her character learns that life isn't always what it seems, she brings uncommon vision and depth to her art."

Jean-Claude Van Damme has assured fans he is "100 per cent healthy" following false reports he suffered a heart attack. The "Bloodsport" star was said to have been hospitalized after collapsing on the set of his new film "Weapon" just a day after his 50th birthday on Monday, October 18.

But Van Damme has taken to his official Facebook.com page to clear up the rumors, insisting he's fit and well. He writes, "Hours ago, I read a rumor online about me suffering heart attack! Please, do not believe all what you read from rumors on any unofficial JCVD sites. Jean-Claude Van Damme is 100 per cent healthy, training well for taking the fight (sic) and sending his fans & friends much love."

The latest racy shots of "Glee" stars, Lea Michele, Cory Monteith and Dianna Agron, featured in November issue of GQ magazine have sparked lots of controversy. Parents Television Council's president Tim Winter dubbed the provocative images "near-pornographic" and the pics border on pedophilia. Meanwhile, editor in chief of GQ, Jim Nelson, has released their objection.

"The Parents Television Council must not be watching much TV these days and should learn to divide reality from fantasy," Nelson fired back PTC in a statement.
