Looking stunning in her black ensemble which was paired with gold details during the event held at the Shoppers Drug Mart in Sherway Gardens Mall in Toronto, Canada on Tuesday, October 19, Kim gave her biggest smile as she was presented with the cake. The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star later blew out the candles of her 30th birthday cake.

Scottish singing sensation Susan Boyle has opened up about the bullies who made her teenage years hell in her new memoirs. Matthew McConaughey has made his music video directorial debut after taking charge of country star Jamey Johnson's new promo for "Playing the Part". The "Sahara" star jumped behind the camera to call the shots on the set in late September, and he's thrilled with the end product.

He says, "Jamey and this song both have a great sense of humor, so I wanted the video to have a wink to it. For any video, if you like the song, you should like it even more after you see the video. Former Stereophonics drummer Stuart Cable died after choking on his own vomit following a three-day booze binge, an inquest has heard. The rocker, who quit the band in 2003, was found dead at his home in Wales by his partner Rachel Jones on June 7.

An inquest into his death on Tuesday, October 19 heard how the musician had started drinking at a rugby club three days before his death. He continued to drink heavily the next day after his BBC Wales radio show until the early hours of the following morning.

Gordon Ramsay's father-in-law has sparked rumors of a fallout with the fiery star after he stepped down as CEO of the celebrity chef's business empire. The "Hell's Kitchen" star has suffered severely in the recent economic downturn and in 2009 was forced to pump $8 million of his own money into his businesses in a last-ditch bid to keep afloat.

Franco will be handed the Outstanding Performance of the Year award at the January 2011 event for his role as young adventurer Aron Ralson in new movie "127 Hours".

The gripping film chronicles Ralson's battle for survival in Utah's Moab Desert after his arm is crushed by a boulder deep within a canyon. Supermodel-turned-TV personality Tyra Banks has been granted a temporary restraining order against an alleged stalker who has "targeted and harassed" the star since 2006. The "America's Next Top Model" host asked a judge to grant her request for a protection order against Marten Williams, Jr., who she claims has stalked her and members of her family for four years.

In documents filed in Los Angeles, Banks alleged the 39 year old has a history of mental illness and believes "he killed George Bush Jr. and that Michael Jackson is alive and living in Long Beach." Banks also claims Williams, Jr. has bombarded her with "ominous frightening letters and items".

The main cast of "The Twilight Saga's Breaking Dawn" have started gathering to kick off the principal photography of the movie. Last week, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner were spotted hitting the movie set in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

The depicter of werewolf Jacob Black was reportedly arriving earlier than his two co-stars and pictured playing with a dog while waiting for the on-screen couple. Later, Pattinson and Stewart were seen coming to the set at the same time.

T.I. has been publicly praised for helping a suicidal man realize how much his family would suffer had the rapper not talked him down from the roof of an Atlanta, Georgia building last week, October 13. The "Live Your Life" star, real name Clifford Harris, Jr., was running errands in his native Atlanta when he heard about the stand-off between cops and desperate local Joshua Starks on the radio.

He drove to the site of a 22-storey building, where the 24 year old was threatening to leap to his death, to see if he could help. Police persuaded Starks to step away from the roof's edge after showing him a heartfelt video of T.I. pleading with him not to end his life. Starks, who was briefly hospitalized after the incident, reunited with his hip-hop hero on Monday, October 18 to discuss the turn of events on an Atlanta radio station, and he admitted the rapper's plea had made him reevaluate his life.

Travis McCoy ditches glamorous nightlife of New York City in a music video filmed to support his latest single "Need You". The Gym Class Heroes member goes to the Chinatown instead, making his way down the streets illuminated by paper lanterns.

"Need You" is taken from Travis McCoy's first solo studio album "Lazarus" which has been in stores since July. "Shameless", a new Showtime series based on a U.K. show of the same name, has released its first trailer in anticipation of the January premiere. The series is starring Oscar-nominated actor William H. Macy in the lead role and is coming from the production hand of John Wells ("ER, "Southland") and Paul Abbot ("State of Play", "Touching Evil").

Macy plays a far-from-stellar working class patriarch of an unconventional Chicago brood of six motley kids who keep the home afloat while he's out drinking and carousing. Playing the eldest kid Fiona is Emmy Rossum of "Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera" fame. The colorful "California Gurls" singer, who is famous for her ever-changing nail art, has teamed up with OPI, the same company behind Bieber's One Less Lonely Girl product.

The "Baby" singer's range of varnishes will be available through U.S. stores in time for the Christmas holidays. Henry Winkler and Scott Baio are leading tributes to their late "Happy Days" co-star Tom Bosley, who died on Tuesday, October 19, aged 83. The beloved American actor, best-known as "Happy Days" patriarch Howard Cunningham on the hit 1970s and 80s TV sitcom, passed away at a hospital in Rancho Mirage, California after battling a staph infection.

Winkler tells TMZ, "I saw him before I ever got to Hollywood on Broadway, and he was great. And then I got to act with him for 10 years and he was great. Tom Bosley was our mentor. American football star Junior Seau has been released from hospital after driving his vehicle off a cliff in California on Monday, October 18. The former San Diego Chargers star was admitted to Scripps La Jolla Hospital in San Diego after he drove his SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle) off the edge of the road and over a cliff in Carlsbad.

Andy Serkis was once strangled by a crazed female fan after refusing to impersonate his "Lord of the Rings" character Gollum for her. Serkis politely declined - but the furious woman grabbed him by the throat and refused to let go until he agreed to perform. The socialite sister of Kim Kardashian was initially astounded when Perez asked her to film an "It Gets Better" viral video and post it on her website because the blogger has been her chief tormentor for years.

Former U.K. Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher has been admitted to hospital after failing to recover from a nasty bout of influenza. The 'Iron Lady' was forced to pull out of her 85th birthday party at her former residence, 10 Downing Street in London, last Wednesday, October 13 because she was too ill to attend.

She urged Britain's current leader David Cameron not to cancel the party, and told the 150 guests in a message that she was "so disappointed" that she wasn't able to make it to the festivities. The Baroness was taken to Cromwell Hospital in the British capital on Tuesday, October 18 as a "precautionary measure".

Johnny Sheffield, the actor who played Tarzan's son in the late 1930s and early 1940s, has died. He was 79. Sheffield portrayed swimming champion-turned-movie star Johnny Weissmuller and Maureen O'Sullivan's orphaned child, Boy, in films like "Tarzan Finds A Son!" and "Tarzan & The Amazons".

He died at his home in Chula Vista, California on Friday, October 15 after suffering a heart attack, according to the Los Angeles Times. His wife Patty tells the publication he fell from a ladder while pruning a palm tree.

The winners of 2010 Scream Awards have all been revealed when the show was aired on Spike TV Tuesday, October 19. Coming out as a big winner was "Inception", which snatched the coveted The Ultimate Scream and Best Sci-Fi Movie titles.

The CW is probably inspired by the success of FOX's "Glee" that it has ordered for a development of a musical TV series. The network's target market is clear, teenagers who would enjoy some singing and dancing.

Judas Priest frontman Rob Halford has waded into the bullying debate - he's demanding school officials do more to educate youngsters about the dangers of taunting their peers. Teen bullying has hit headlines in the U.S. in recent weeks following a spate of suicides among depressed gay youths who had been taunted by their classmates.

And Halford, who witnessed bullying first-hand as a kid, is calling on U.S. school officials to implement more effective programs to reach out to troubled youngsters and their bullies. Rapper Kanye West has vowed never to "give up on life again" after revealing he contemplated suicide during his darkest days of depression. The "Stronger" hitmaker made the admission on Monday, October 18 at a Los Angeles screening of his new film "Runaway", which was attended by his close family and famous friends, including Ryan Phillippe, Pete Wentz and his wife Ashlee Simpson.

Hollywood actress Uma Thurman suffered an embarrassing make-up mishap on Monday, October 18 when she spent the night at a New York gala with white powder all over her face. "Gone Baby Gone" actress Jill Quigg has pleaded not guilty to charges of breaking and entering following an incident in Massachusetts on Friday, October 15. Quigg, who appeared in Ben Affleck's 2007 directorial debut, was arrested alongside Georgios Keskinidis on suspicion of stealing a TV and printer from an apartment in Quincy, near Boston.

They were identified by witnesses and hauled into court on Monday, October 18, when they were arraigned on the burglary charges, among other counts. Both suspects were subsequently released on their own recognizance.

Actress Kim Novak has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Novak, best known for her starring role in the 1958 classic "Vertigo", is undergoing cancer treatment and is expected to make a full recovery, according to her manager, Sue Cameron.

British rapper Professor Green has told a London court he was convinced he would die after he was stabbed in the neck last year - and he even phoned his mother to say goodbye. Anthony Jones, 25, is on trial accused of attacking the star with a broken bottle during an altercation at Cargo nightclub in Shoreditch, east London.

Prosecutors allege Jones lashed out at the rapper - real name Stephen Manderson - after he accidentally jostled one of the accused's friends. Queen Latifah's upcoming "Single Ladies" film is heading to the small screen - the movie has been expanded into a weekly U.S. television series. Latifah took inspiration from Beyonce Knowles for the film, about a group of girlfriends who are unlucky in love, naming it after the singer's hit "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)".

And now the movie, starring Stacey Dash, LisaRaye McCoy and Charity Shea, is to become an eight-episode VH1 network series, which is set to launch in July 2011. Latifah, who was not initially featured in the project, is now scheduled to make a guest appearance in the expanded TV version, reports Variety.

Russell Brand has shown off his charitable side - he's made a "generous" donation to support the families affected by Britain's worst ever sporting disaster. The funnyman handed over a substantial sum of money to the Hillsborough Family Support Group after being moved to tears by a member's speech at a memorial service earlier this year.

The campaigning organization provides help for families who lost loved ones in the 1989 Hillsborough Disaster - a horrific crush at a soccer ground in Sheffield, England that left 96 fans of Liverpool Football Club dead and dozens more injured. And Brand was so touched by the relatives' suffering 21 years on, he contacted the group's chairwoman Margaret Aspinall - who lost her son James in the disaster - to offer his support.

"Harry Potter" author J.K. Rowling has become the first winner of the Hans Christian Andersen Literature Prize. The British writer accepted a $93,352 award on Tuesday, October 19 at a ceremony in Odense, Denmark - the birthplace of famed children's writer Andersen.

Rowling spoke of her delight at the honor and paid tribute to the great Dane, insisting the "Little Mermaid" scribe "created indestructible, eternal characters." She said, "I'm humbled and deeply honored to receive this wonderful award. Hans Christian Andersen is a writer I revere, because his work was of that rare order that seems to transcend authorship... (This is) an award I shall treasure all my life."

Sir Elton John has confirmed he turned down the chance to join the "American Idol" judging panel, because he finds the show "boring" and "brain crippling". Jean-Claude Van Damme is said currently resting at his home in Belgium after being admitted to a hospital in New Orleans for a minor heart attack. According to email from Van Damme's reps to MTV, the "The Shepherd: Border Patrol" actor "is okay."

Van Damme's brief hospitalization was first reported by Twitch Film. According to the site, Van Damme suffered a heart attack on the set of his latest movie "Weapon" only a day after celebrating his 50th birthday, on Monday, October 18.

Hugh Jackman is sort of confirming that Darren Aronofsky is on board to direct "Wolverine 2". Interviewed by New York Magazine's Vulture during Elton John's Enduring Vision gala, the actor who will also serve as producer for the project gushed, "[Aronofsky's] going to make it fantastic."

Beloved American actor and "Happy Days" star Tom Bosley has passed away at his home in Palm Springs, California, aged 83. Family members tell TMZ the star had been battling a staph infection, but further details regarding his death were unavailable as WENN went to press.

After serving in the U.S. Navy during World War II, Bosley made his stage debut in "Our Town" with Chicago's Canterbury Players. He later shared the stage with Paul Newman at the Woodstock Opera House in Illinois, but his breakthrough stage role came in 1959 when he portrayed New York Mayor Fiorello H. La Guardia in Pulitzer Prize-winning musical "Fiorello!" The part won him a Tony Award.
