The Rolling Stones were so paranoid about getting busted by police during their sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll adventure at Keith Richards' French retreat in 1971, they devised an escape plan to help the band and their families make a quick getaway. The rockers set up home in the South of France to record classic album "Exile on Main St.", and Richards' Nellcote chateau, where the guitarist created a recording studio, became a hangout for drug dealers and dodgy characters.

And the rocker's then-girlfriend, Anita Pallenberg, reveals Richards and his bandmates were so worried about their country home studio being raided by the police, they came up with a clever plan to make a hasty escape and leave hangers-on and groupies to face the law. In new documentary "Stones in Exile", she says, "We had this escape route that we planned... You could jump out the window, where I was sleeping and then jump on the bus (outside) and get out really quickly."

Things are about to get ugly in Hollywood if Guy Ritchie gets the greenlight to start work on movie musical remake "Guys and Dolls", "Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story" star John C. Reilly has threatened anyone who steals the role of Nathan Detroit from him with physical violence.

That means Justin Timberlake should be worried, if reports Ritchie has him slated for the iconic role are true. The "Chicago" star tells WENN he has his sights set on the role Frank Sinatra played on the big screen in 1955. He explains, "I'm still waiting for 'Guys and Dolls' to get made into a movie. I will scratch the eyes out of anyone who tries to get between me and Nathan Detroit, I swear to God!"

R. Kelly officially kicked off the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa on Friday, June 11 with a rousing performance of the tournament's anthem "Sign of Victory". More than 84,000 soccer fans sang along at Soweto's Soccer City before the opening game between host nation South Africa and Mexico. Kelly headlined the pre-game spectacular with the Soweto Spiritual Singers.

South Africa's former leader Nelson Mandela, who was expected to be a big part of the concert, had to miss the celebrations following the death of his 13-year-old great-granddaughter. The teenager was killed in a car crash on her way home from Thursday's Kick-Off Concert party in Johannesburg.

Rocker Slash has laughed off a stage invasion during a concert in Milan, Italy on Thursday night, June 10, insisting he's fine but his guitar was broken in the fracas. The guitar great was forced to halt his show when an over-zealous fan climbed onstage and tackled him as he started up a rendition of Guns N' Roses' anthem "Sweet Child O' Mine".

The burly fan almost knocked the rocker over as he lunged at him and then was tackled off the stage by security. Slash composed himself and tried to play on, but realized his guitar neck had been snapped and had to call for a replacement instrument.

Monty Python star Eric Idle won't be rooting for his native England when the team opens it's World Cup run in South Africa on Saturday, June 12, he'll be cheering for his adopted U.S.A. England are the clear favorites to win the match, but Idle is betting on the Americans to cause a major upset.

He says, "I'm excited... Although I am English (and) I have to suffer with England, my money is on America to beat them on Saturday. I think... (it's) a good bet. You can get decent odds in England on this, because the English are very confident. But the Americans are a very good team, very hard to beat. So, it'll probably end up a tie, I would think."

Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz have developed soccer fever as the World Cup kicks off in South Africa, the movie stars appear in a hilarious new online promotion in which they appear to be showing off their silky skills. The two stars are caught kicking a soccer ball about on the set of their new movie "Knight & Day".

They juggle the ball between them and at one point Cruise, whose adopted kids Isabella and Connor are both soccer lovers, traps the ball on the back of his neck. Close inspection shows the short movie, released to promote their new film, suggests the footage has been doctored to make the two stars look like aces.

"Gossip Girl" star Chace Crawford has been charged with pot possession in Texas. The actor now faces six months behind bars following his arrest in Plano, Texas last Friday, June 4.

Police found an unlit joint on Crawford's person during a body search of the star in a parking lot. He was released on bail and cops passed the case onto the District Attorney to determine if Crawford should be punished.

Jonas Brothers have their fresh material "Feeling Alive" making its way out on Radio Disney Friday, June 11. They recorded the song for soundtrack of the Mouse House's Original TV series "J.O.N.A.S!" which is now retitled "Jonas L.A."

The series' soundtrack album is led by a song called "L.A. Baby (Where Dreams Are Made Of)" which has been out for listening pleasure since May this year. Scheduled to be released in the U.S. on July 20, the compilation set is promised to be "full of sensational summertime anthems to keep your head bobbing all year round."

Professor Farnsworth reminds the temporarily-amnesiac Fry of how their spaceship passed through the Panama Wormhole in the first clip of "Futurama" season 6. The Comedy Central animation returns on screen June 24 with the episode "Rebirth" where, after the events of Into the Wild Green Yonder, all the characters will be reborn.

"Matt [Groening] and I decided to make sure people knew right away that this was Futurama in its classic half-hour form," executive producer David X. Cohen said in a chat with EW of what can be expected from this season. "We wanted to quickly establish in the first episode that the characters are back from their DVD adventures. Fry and Leela return relatively quickly. Very quickly we get back to the Planet Express headquarters in New New York City - and the only slight hitch is that everybody is dead."

In anticipation of the U.S. release of "The Twilight Saga's Eclipse" on June 30, Summit Entertainment has dropped two more clips from the film. One of them follows the Cullens who chase Victoria in the woods, while the other one sees Edward who takes Bella to meet Jacob before he leaves them.

In another news, details about the making of "Eclipse" engagement ring have been shared. According to InStyle, at least a prop master and five different jewelers, several samples and a multitude of research were involved in the process. Prop master Grant Swain was responsible to provide the design, but "Twilight" books author Stephenie Meyer was not impressed with the result.

Days after the arrival of Kelly Rowland's "Grown A** Woman", another song from the former member of Destiny's Child hits the web. Titled "Rose Colored Glasses", the song is now made available for free stream on her MySpace.

"Colored Glasses" is produced by Dr. Luke (Katy Perry, Flo Rida) and written by Ester Dean (Rihanna, Christina Aguilera). Meanwhile, "A** Woman" is penned by Ne-Yo and comes from production hands of Stargate.

Bloc Party frontman Kele Okereke has cast doubt over the band's future after confessing there's no set timeline to reunite. The singer sparked reports the "Helicopter" hitmakers were heading for a split in 2009, after admitting they "might never make a record again".

He spoke out in May to clear up his comments, insisting he had no plans to quit the band. He said, "I used to be in the band, and I will be again. I'm looking forward to seeing the other guys and making music with them."

Legendary rapper/producer Dr. Dre has lost a legal battle against the owners of Death Row Records over a reissued version of his iconic album "The Chronic". Dre, real name Andre Young, took label bosses to court in February, alleging a modified version of the 1992 classic, now titled "The Chronic Re-Lit", was in violation of trademark and publicity law.

He accused Death Row owners of failing to ask for his permission before releasing the disc and falsely suggesting he endorsed the new album by placing his name and likeness on the CD cover art. But a California judge has dismissed Dre's claims. The case was thrown out of court earlier this week, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Kourtney Kardashian has hinted that she wants to give her baby son Mason Dash Disick a new sister or brother. During an interview with E! News to talk about her show "Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami", the 31-year-old beauty said, "We're not trying, but we're not not trying."

And apparently, Kourtney hasn't revealed about her plan to sister Khloe Kardashian as Khloe's eyes bulged wide, demanding explanation. "What? What does that mean? So you're not ready to get married, but you're ready to have another baby?," Khloe asked.

Actor Bradley Cooper suffered from a bout of depression after filming wrapped on the set of "The A-Team" because his toned muscle quickly turned into fat. The "The Hangover" star embarked on a grueling fitness regime and adopted a strict diet to achieve the buff physique he shows off as Templeton 'Faceman' Peck in the new movie adaptation of the hit TV series.

But Cooper admits he let himself go once the movie was complete, and he began piling on the pounds by indulging in his favorite junk foods. He tells People magazine, "I shrunk back down two weeks after we finished shooting. It was depressing. Before that, I spent much longer brushing my teeth (to look at myself in the mirror)."

Actress Amanda Peet is desperate to expand her family with her screenwriter husband David Benioff, just eight weeks after giving birth to the couple's second child. The "Whole Nine Yards" star, 38, welcomed baby Molly June on April 19 and the actress admits she's ready to get pregnant again.

She tells UsMagazine, "I'm really old. He (Benioff) was like, 'We have to wait three years'. And I was like, 'We don't have three years! We'll be too old at that point.' "

Devoted fans of "Battlestar Galactica" can relive the moment through an online game which first trailer has just been released by Bigpoint and SyFy. "Battlestar Galactica Online" is the upcoming MMO (Massively Multiplayer Online) which will put gamers either as Human or Cylon/Man or Machine.

It will debut on SyFy's website first as a 30 day exclusive before going public. The game, which uses the browser-based 3-D software technology by Unity, will include tactical space combat, exploration, and mission-based quests. Some elements from the Emmy-winning series as well as storyline are embedded in the game.

Gary Coleman's estranged parents have no interest in fighting for control of the late actor's estate - because they refuse to "disrespect" the late star. The "Diff'rent Strokes" star, who passed away in May, failed to leave clear instructions regarding his assets and, earlier this week, his ex-wife Shannon Price launched a bid to take over the estate.

Price, who claims to have been Coleman's common-law spouse, insists she and her ex continued to live together as man and wife after they divorced in 2008. And she has produced a handwritten 2007 document, in which the actor reportedly names her as the "sole heir of any and all monies, properties, bank accounts, earnings, model trains, vehicles, cars, toys, games, electronics, homes, other inheritances if any, all things physical and/or intellectual."

The newly-discovered will, obtained by ET, names Anna Gray, as the one who may stand to inherit everything.

Lindsay Lohan has put to rest the rumor which has been spread by her own mother. Earlier this week, Dina Lohan reportedly told New York Post that "Lindsay Lohan has been approached by Donald Trump to star in the next 'The Celebrity Apprentice' season".

Her mom was quoted as saying, "Donald is a friend of the family, and producers of 'Celebrity Apprentice' have approached Lindsay to appear in the next season. She's deciding if she wants to do it or not." A source said that NBC would like both Lindsay and Dina on the show, just like the last time when they brought in Joan Rivers and daughter Melissa Rivers in a single season.

Police has informed that "no investigation" is made over January Jones' car collision. The "Mad Men" star was involved in the crash which occurred in Los Angeles around 9 P.M. on Friday, June 11 and she has been reported hit-and-run after allegedly hitting the other cars, causing some major damage and leaving the scene on foot.

"If this was a hit-and-run, Ms. Jones would have been arrested. She was being followed by paparazzi and hit two parked cars," LAPD officer April Harding told People. "She wasn't under the influence of anything. No one got hurt. That's pretty much it. There is no investigation." The LAPD officer further stated, "No crime occurred here."

Another clip from "Jonah Hex" has been made available for viewing pleasure. Making its way out via Trailer Park Movies, the newly-released video gives preview to how Josh Brolin's Jonah Hex involved in a battle, teasing with the gun-totting and explosion scenes.

Amanda Seyfried was horrified after she accidentally "insulted" Leonardo DiCaprio by asking him to play her father in a new movie. The "Titanic" star is producing Seyfried's upcoming film "Red Riding Hood", and when the actress met the star to talk about the movie she attempted to persuade him to take an onscreen role.

But DiCaprio was unimpressed when he realized Seyfried wasn't asking him to play her love interest - she wanted him for the part of her character's father. She tells Britain's Daily Mirror, "Unfortunately, he's not in it. I asked him if he would play my dad but he got insulted. He said, 'I don't do male leads in love stories anymore'."

Kristen Stewart is hoping to swap Hollywood for the London stage - the "Twilight" actress has met with producers in a bid to find a West End role, according to reports. The 20 year old is said to be planning to head to Britain once she finishes work on her upcoming movies, which include the vampire franchise's two-part conclusion "The Twilight Saga's Breaking Dawn" and "On the Road", with Kirsten Dunst.

Stewart has met with famed West End producer, David Pugh, who worked with Daniel Radcliffe on "Equus", to discuss a list of possible plays, according to Deadline.com. Britain's Daily Mail reports Stewart has yet to make a decision on a production to launch her theater career.

Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs is urging British rappers to embrace their roots because they will never find success in the U.S. if they try to imitate their American counterparts. The music mogul is convinced U.K. stars will always fail in the States if they attempt to fake an American accent or rap about subjects they have no experience of.

But Combs is pleased to see a new generation of Brit rappers who include references to life in Britain in their music, including Dizzee Rascal, Tinie Tempah and Chipmunk - and he's adamant they all have the potential to score hit records in America.

Cheryl Cole joins such stars as Kelis and Stacy Ferguson aka Fergie by sealing a record deal with will.i.am's label. The Girls Aloud singer and the Hip-Hop star are now working together for her next studio album which is hoped to crack United States.

"Cheryl's dope, I like collaborating with her. We've talked about working on her next album, plus we signed her to the label in America," will.i.am told the Big Issue. "We're figuring out how we go about it in the States. It has to be something really incredible done in a different way."

Kevin Zegers has shared about what it's like kissing one of famous American pop stars, Miley Cyrus, as he stars in Miley's new music video "Big Big Bang" in which they did a make-out scene. However, instead of calling it hot or breathtaking, Kevin described the lip-lock "weird".

On why Kevin opted the term, he explained to MTV News, "Liam [Hemsworth] was there, and he seems like a very, very nice man, and my girlfriend, who actually works with Miley, was also there." He continued, "So it was actually a lot stranger than it normally would be sort of making out with somebody on set."

Fans of U.S. TV show "FlashForward converged across the globe on Thursday, June 10 for a mass protest against the series' cancellation - staging fake 'blackouts' in cities including New York, London and Los Angeles.

The programme, starring Joseph Fiennes, centered around a mass blackout in which the majority of the world's population loses consciousness for several minutes and has a glimpse into the future. But network bosses concluded the lacklustre ratings did not justify a second season and axed "FlashForward" as part of a massive TV cull which saw a string of high-profile shows fall.

"Men in Black 3" is yet to enter the production process, but a teaser clip for the film has come out. In the video shown at Sony's 3D TV launch on Friday, June 11, Will Smith is featured saying that he has one purpose with the upcoming project, which is "to make 3-D look good".

Smith has signed to reprise his role as alien-chasing government operative Agent Jay in this follow-up to "Men in Black II". His co-star Tommy Lee Jones is likely to return as Agent Kay since he was latest reported negotiating his contract with Columbia Pictures. Moreover, the film could have Josh Brolin starring as a younger version of Agent K, and Jemaine Clement taking the role of a villainous character.

Moviemaker Mike Nichols was the focus of a star-studded ceremony in California on Thursday, June 10 night as he picked up a Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Film Institute. Actors including Harrison Ford, Jack Nicholson, Julia Roberts and Helen Mirren turned out to honor The Graduate director at the event, held at the Sony Pictures Studio in Culver City.

The 78-year-old Oscar-winner was presented with the coveted prize by Meryl Streep, and admitted he was deeply honored by the tribute, saying, "Something like this, you look back and you remember everything that happened, all the people and all the fun you had and all the laughs you had... it's a nice way to make a living."

Instead of being released on traditional Tuesday slot, Miley Cyrus's new album "Can't Be Tamed" has now been moved forward to Monday, June 21. "Guys, 'Can't Be Tamed' will now be released, Monday June 21st," she announced on her official site.

For this summer release, Miley Cyrus has changed her image from a "Hannah Montana" clean-cut actress to a more mature artist. She performed raunchy stage acts when promoting the upcoming CD in Europe. Her girl-on-girl stunt on "Britain's Got Talent" even sparked controversy.

The third season of "True Blood" is numbered by hours and HBO has released the 12th and final collectible poster. Showing a close shot of mosquito while sucking, the poster asks "How can 400 billion blood suckers be wrong?".

Beside the poster, there's also an apology video from the marketing department of HBO for flooding the media with its "True Blood" campaign. "A junior marketing associate here in the marketing department of Home Box Office" going by the name Brian Fisher said they apologize for making "too much of a splash in showbiz."

Steve Carell and Michael C. Hall were the toast of Monte Carlo on Thursday night, June 10 after taking the top honors at Monaco's largest TV event. The stars came out to attend the 50th annual Monte Carlo TV Festival, which saw Carell named Best Actor in a Comedy Series for his role in "The Office", while Hall landed the Best Actor in a Drama Series award, for "Dexter".

The night's other major prizes went to American shows including "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" and "Desperate Housewives", which landed the International TV Audience Awards, while producing honors went to "30 Rock" and "Mad Men", along with British political comedy "The Thick of It", according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The first production photo from "The Tourist" starring Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp has been outed. An exclusive courtesy of The Sun, the image captures the two main cast with a background of a canal in Venice, Italy.

Jolie kicked off the principal photography of the film in Paris, France late February. She later joined her co-star Depp in Italy in March. On date 17 of the same month, the production was wrapped earlier because too many people gathered around the location to take pictures of the two Hollywood stars.

Megan Fox has revealed she's often lied to the press in a bid to keep her love life private - insisting she regrets feeding journalists "misconceptions" to "throw them off the scent". The "Transformers" star has long kept gossips guessing about her on/off romance with longterm love interest Brian Austin Green.

But the actress admits many of the interviews she's given about her private life have been full of untruths. Amanda Seyfried struggled to visit her boyfriend Dominic Cooper when he was filming in Europe earlier this year - because the actress is terrified of flying. The "Mamma Mia!" star, who met Cooper on the set of the hit movie, was parted from her lover when he relocated to Malta to film his role in "The Devil's Double", playing the son of infamous Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein.

Seyfried admits she barely saw him while he was away, because she never gets on a plane unless she really has to. She tells Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper, "I haven't really been with him this year because he's been in Malta. I hate being up in the sky. I'm always scared it's (the plane) going to crash."

Former basketball star Dennis Rodman has been hit with a child support demand from his estranged wife, who alleges he owes more than $300,000. The sportsman-turned-reality-TV-star's former partner, Michelle, has filed papers at Orange County Superior Court in California, claiming he owes $305,244.67 to support his son, D.J., and daughter, Trinity.

Rodman had been ordered to pay Michelle $50,000 a month, plus $1,083 in spousal support, reports TMZ.com. But Michelle, who married the star in 2003, alleges he is behind on his monthly payments.

Veteran actress Vanessa Redgrave is to take a break from work so she can spend quality time with her loved ones following her recent family tragedies. The British star was rocked by the death of her daughter, Natasha Richardson, last year after a skiing accident, and the sad loss was compounded by the death of her brother Corin, who passed away in April this year, and her sister Lynn, who lost her battle with breast cancer last month.

Redgrave has decided not to take on any more movie roles for the foreseeable future so she can "take stock" of her losses and dedicate her time to her other daughter, Joely Richardson.

Kid Cudi has been in trouble with the law again. TMZ reported that the 26-year-old rapper, who plans to release his new album "Man on the Moon II : The Legend of Mr. Rager" in August, was arrested in NYC for felony criminal mischief and possession of a controlled substance on Friday evening, June 11.

Sources told the site that Kid took a 24-year-old woman's phone and slammed it to smithereens. The "Day 'N' Night" hitmaker also allegedly ripped her apartment door off its hinges. Police arrived at the scene and found a glass bottle of a controlled substance. The rapper is currently dating Jamie Baratta but it's still unknown whether she was the woman involved in the incident.

Maura Tierney is officially on board ABC's new legal drama "The Whole Truth" which previously had Joely Richardson on the lead. Tierney who is in remission after successfully battling breast cancer since late last year, will take the role of Kathryn Peale, a deputy bureau chief in the Manhattan District Attorney's office.

Richardson had taken the role and even shot the scenes previously but she backed out of the project to spend more time with her family. The 45-year-old buried her aunt Lynn Redgrave in May and her uncle Corin Redgrave in April. Last year she lost her sibling Natasha Richardson in a skiing accident. Joely Richardson has an 18-year-old daughter named Daisy.

The search for the new depicter of Peter Parker is not over yet. Despite report that Jamie Bell has been cast in an untitled Spider-Man reboot, Los Angeles Times has got information from sources who say that two names have been added as the potential lead actor for the film.

Those who just join the short list are Aaron Johnson and Anton Yelchin. Johnson is dubbed an appropriate depicter of young Parker by the site considering his latest appearance as a teenager who turns into a superhero wannabe in "Kick-Ass". Yelchin is said to have the same chance because his portrayal of Kyle Reese in "Terminator Salvation" is quite impressive.

Travis McCoy goes crazy in a music video which supports his latest single "The Manual". In this clip, the Gym Class Heroes frontman is sharing screen with T-Pain who lends his vocal on the hook.

"The Manual" is one of the new materials which appears in Travis McCoy's newly-released debut album "Lazarus". In addition to having additional verses from T-Pain, the song also features another Nappy Boy member Young Cash.

A rep for Jodie Foster has cleared out report that the 47-year-old actress has been accused of battery after reportedly attacking a 17-year-old boy who attempted to take photographs of her and her children. The rep told People, "This guy's behavior was completely inappropriate and the police report is a fabrication of the incident."

The rep further explained about the situation which occurred at a shopping center in Los Angeles on May 29 between 1:50 P.M. and 2:00 P.M. "This guy was most definitely a professional paparazzo," the rep started. "He had a large camera bag and 1000mm telephoto lens. He tailed Jodie and followed her all the way from the movie theater to the valet."
