Another preview to Columbia Pictures' "Salt" has been brought forward in form of several brand new stills. Posted on Celebutopia, two of the photos capture female lead Angelina Jolie in action alone. The other shot, meanwhile, features her alongside Liev Schreiber and Chiwetel Ejiofor.

SlashFilm, in the meantime, has collected new stills from Warner Bros. Pictures' "Inception". Lead actor Leonardo DiCaprio is seen dressing in formal, neat outfit while pointing a gun in two pictures, but he is captured wearing a shabby T-shirt in another photo. The other image, meanwhile, exposes Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

Former Westlife singer Brian McFadden has defended his decision to slam his ex-wife Kerry Katona on Twitter.com - insisting he needed to vent his anger. McFadden, who is now engaged to Delta Goodrem, has lost two legal battles to regain custody of his daughters with Katona, who he divorced in 2006 after four years of marriage.

The singer was left fuming after Katona told a U.K. tabloid he barely speaks to his girls, Molly and Lilly-Sue, and launched a bitter verbal attack on the reality TV star on the social networking site last week. He called Katona a "pig face mole", adding, "Kerry Katona ..... YOU ARE DEAD TO ME!"

British actor Rupert Grint was left red-faced when he first watched his new movie "Cherrybomb" - because he had to sit alongside his parents as his sex scene was screened. The "Harry Potter" star appears as a troubled teenager in the film, alongside actress Kimberley Nixon.

Movie bosses sent Grint a preview of the film and his parents were eager to watch the clip - but the 21 year old admits he found watching the sex scene more embarrassing than shooting it in the first place.

Rapper Guru's former Gang Starr collaborator DJ Premier has paid tribute to the star, describing him as "a brother" - despite his late friend reportedly slating him in a farewell letter.

The hip-hop legend was admitted to a New York medical facility in February after he suffered a heart attack and slipped into a coma. He was diagnosed with anoxia, a condition where the body lacks an adequate supply of oxygen. It was later revealed Guru, real name Keith Elam, was also battling cancer, but chose to keep the news private. He passed away on Monday, April 19.

Prepare to be disappointed, "Friday the 13th" sequel is likely not going to happen. Despite previous reports on the development of "Friday the 13th Part 2", the project is reportedly dead.

The sad news was first brought into attention by Shock Till You Drop. The site noticed that producer Bradley Fuller replied "it is dead- not happening," when a fan asked through Twitter, "Hows the F13 sequel coming along?"

We the Kings seek help from their devotees to capture childhood fun in "We'll Be a Dream" music video. The fans are divided into two large groups and seen doing an impromptu "battle" against each other with a bag of feathers in a park.

The clip features a cameo from Demi Lovato who also lends her vocal on the song. It was filmed at Elysian Park in Los Angeles earlier this year and includes a live performance scene from the Travis Clark-fronted band.

The fifth promo poster of "True Blood" is released along with the announcement that people of Bon Temps, Sookie in particular, are looking for a missing person. Vampire Bill, who was kidnapped at the end of season 2, is declared a missing person in the back of every TruBlood bottled drink.

The poster allows fans to get more personal details about Bill. Known as William Thomas Compton, the 174-year-old vampire weighs 165 lbs and is 5'10" tall. He was last seen at Maison de Paris - just outside of Bon Temps, Louisiana - wearing a navy suit, white dress shirt and navy patterned tie. According to creator Alan Ball, the fate of Bill is found out as soon as the first episode which airs June 13.

Soundtrack listing for "Sex and the City 2" has been unveiled and the names of some cast members are mentioned among the list. Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon who play the major characters will cover "I Am Woman" from Helen Reddy.

Beyonce Knowles' "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" also makes it into the record, but it will be performed by Liza Minnelli. The 64-year-old actress/singer is likely to be seen singing the song during Stanford Blatch and Anthony Marantino's gay wedding like it has been widely reported.

Jason Mraz was handed with Song of the Year honor at this year's American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP) Awards. "Songwriters are crazy people and I'm grateful that there are organizations out there that keep us crazy people in business," he said.

The death of Marie Osmond's teenage son has been ruled a suicide. Leaked autopsy results have ruled out drug use, suggesting Michael Bryan was not under the influence of any substance when he jumped to his death from the balcony of his Los Angeles apartment on February 26.

Instead, nothing but multiple blunt trauma caused the troubled 18 year old's death. According to reports, drugs were not found in Bryan's system. TMZ.com reports bad school grades and a visit from an ex-girlfriend led to the depressed teen's decision to take his own life.

Reality TV star Whitney Port is set to become the latest "The Hills" cast member to write a book - after signing on to pen a self-help guide for young women. The show's former star Lauren Conrad has been on the fast track to literary success since the release of her bestselling fiction novels, "L.A. Candy", and "Sweet Little Lies", and now Port is adding author to her resume.

She'll offer personal stories and advice in "True Whit", which is set for release in 2011. She says, "Being a twenty-something can be a difficult phase. There are so many questions, and I wanted to write about my experiences for anyone who needs help navigating through life."

"Glee" creator Ryan Murphy is already in talks with Madonna to stage a sequel to his episode tribute to the Material Girl, which aired in America on Tuesday night, April 20. The Madonna special, which featured the "Glee" cast performing the pop superstar's songs, was a big hit among TV viewers - 13.5 million people tuned in to see the episode.

And Murphy wants a second shot at Madonna's hits. He tells EW.com, "Madonna and her people are into it and want it to happen."

Former "ER" star Maura Tierney has revealed she pulled out of TV drama "Parenthood" because she didn't want her cancer battle to be documented on television. The actress dropped out of the new show after she was diagnosed with breast cancer last year - but she insists it wasn't because she was too ill to act.

In her first interview since undergoing treatment for cancer, Tierney tells the New York Times, "I felt terrible leaving the 'Parenthood' team in the lurch, but doing the show would have been very stressful because I didn't want that phase of my life documented on film."

Miley Cyrus' family were quietly pleased when an ash storm from Iceland's Eyjafjallajokull volcano kept the actress/singer from the U.K. premiere of her new film "The Last Song" - because it meant they had more time to spend with her and new boyfriend Liam Hemsworth.

The lovebirds and co-stars were supposed to be in London for the screening on Tuesday, April 20, but when all planes to and from Europe were grounded last week following the volcano eruption, their plans were scrapped. Cyrus was upset when she learned she would be unable to fly to the U.K., but her family made her realize it was a good thing.

Christina Aguilera answers Akon's claim that she copied Lady GaGa. In an interview with Atlanta's Star 94 FM as part of her "Bionic" promotion, she sets the record straight, saying "No rip-offs, we're all inspired by different things."

"I was inspired ... by artists that came before me. ... You know what I love about the new breed of newcomers is that they're risk takers," she explained more. "They're doing things that aren't so safe. ... I always had the guts and passion to do things like that. ... Starting April 28, "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" begins the story arc that involves Academy Award-winning actress Sharon Stone. In four episodes, Stone will portray ADA Jo Marlowe who is a former cop and partner of Stabler before changing lane to become a prosecutor. The character is particularly interesting for she often says "the right wrong things".

When two sisters are killed in a fire, Detectives Olivia Benson and Eliot Stabler are confused about why they are called to investigate. They soon discover that Stabler's old partner, ADA Jo Marlowe, has been put on the case - despite the absence of a sex crime - because the two victims were so young, and that she has enlisted the duo to help.

Kim Kardashian has brushed off report mentioning that she is dating soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo by declaring she is still a single. "I think I'm such a relationship kind of girl for years, I think it would be really refreshing and I'm having a good time being single," she stated on an Australian radio show.

"According to the U.S. media, I'm kissing a lot of people. Every time if you are just in the same place as someone they always say you are dating them so at this point I've given up," she added. The star of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" even stated she is challenged to find out the sources who always claim to know the real situation, saying "Who is the source? I'd love to know, I want to work for a blog and find out who these sources are."

Sporting dark-colored outfit, Chris Brown hits Los Angeles with Young Money's artist Tyga and a number of fans in a music video for "Holla at Me". The R&B performer dances and spits his verses to the camera while people around him are also moving their body to the beat.

"Holla at Me" is one of the tracks coming from Chris and Tyga's collaborative mixtape "Fan of a Fan". The newly-debuted music video is directed by Alex Nazari and also features a cameo appearance from Teyana Taylor.

Jennifer Lopez, Sheryl Crow and model Molly Sims will be among the big winners at this year's Us Weekly Hot Hollywood Style awards after landing the leading honors. Lopez will be crowned the Style Icon of the Decade, Crow the Trendy Traditionalist and Sims the Top Model Turned Mogul awards at the event on April 22 in West Hollywood.

Other big names who will be honoured include "Glee" star Mark Salling (Casual-Cool Hunk), Kelly Osbourne (Punk Princess) and actress Anna Kendrick (The New Showstopper).

Newly-single star Jennifer Love Hewitt has set her sights on a romance with "Twilight" hunk Robert Pattinson. Hewitt recently ended a year-long relationship with comedy actor Jamie Kennedy, and insists she's ready to find love again.

Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones are heading back to the big screen for a third "Men in Black 3" movie, according to U.S. reports. The duo will reteam as Kay and Jay in a 3-D sequel.

So far the hit franchise has made well over $1 billion globally. The last "Men in Black" film hit cinemas in 2002.

Lindsay Lohan has failed to show up for a second court date, just a week after she ditched an all-day deposition in California because of her busy schedule. The "Mean Girls" star was called upon to give evidence relating to a lawsuit filed by three men, who have accused the actress of holding them hostage during a drunken drive through Malibu, California in 2007.

Lohan's accusers, Ronnie Blake, Jakon Sutter and Dante Nigro, took legal action in 2008, insisting her actions endangered their lives. The star was stopped after the incident by police officers, who allegedly found cocaine in the car. Lohan later pleaded guilty to reckless drinking and driving and served one day in jail.

Chace Crawford has left his female fans heartbroken. The "Gossip Girl" actor has been snapped on camera dating a mystery girl in London, England on Tuesday night, April 20. The two reportedly had a dinner at Le Caprice.

Chace, who wore a black T-shirt paired with a gray cap, was seen putting his hand around the blonde girl's waist when walking side by side. Nick Jonas and his two siblings were hard at work, shooting scenes for the upcoming episodes of "J.O.N.A.S!". Taking place on Wednesday, April 21 morning, the filming was taken outdoor in San Pedro, California.

Joining the Jonas Brothers at the film set are Chelsea Staub who missed several episodes in the second season due to her commitment to "Starstruck". Chelsea, who plays Joe Jonas' love interest Stella in the series, holds hands with the co-star on the beach.

Brooke Shields has hit out at her ex-husband Andre Agassi for claiming she had a say in his tell-all autobiography - because the tennis ace refused to let her make changes to the book. Agassi went public last year with private details of his two-year marriage to the actress in his tome, "Open".

Shields is planning her own memoir to put her side of their union across, insisting her former partner left a lot of details out - and she's fuming at his claims she vetted his book. Shields tells Britain's Easy Living magazine, "He made me sit in a room with his ghost writer and read what the writer had written."

Melanie Griffith is preparing to make her movie comeback after years in the Hollywood wilderness - she starts shooting a new film next month. The "Working Girl" star cut back on her film roles in the late 1990s to focus on her family, and has only been seen in a handful of minor TV parts and cameo appearances over the last few years.

Griffith was also sidelined by a prescription drug habit, but kicked her addictions with a stint in rehab last year, and she is now preparing to relaunch her movie career. She tells Britain's Hello! magazine, "I want to get back to work. I start shooting a movie next month, but I don't want to say any more in case it falls through."

One of the women at the center of Steven Seagal's ongoing sexual harassment scandal has been identified as the granddaughter of late soul legend Ray Charles. Ex-model Kayden Nguyen is suing the "Under Siege" actor for $1 million, claiming he used her "like a sex toy" and expected her to pleasure him sexually after landing a job as his executive assistant.

Two unnamed women have submitted sworn declarations to help Nguyen's case - and now one of the alleged victims has been revealed as Charles' granddaughter Blair Robinson, according to TMZ.com. In Robinson's declaration, she claims she first met Seagal at Ray Charles' 2004 funeral and took on a job as his assistant one month later.

In upcoming "A Nightmare on Elm Street", Freddy Krueger is back hunting teenagers on Elm Street and the thrill has been shared in a motion poster for the film. The poster has the serial killer as the model and produces an annoying, creepy sound when Freddy makes scratches with his razor glove.

Additionally, Warner Bros. Pictures has debuted a new clip to promote the film. Making its way out via Shock Till You Drop, the video captures the scene where Freddy reminds Nancy of who he is with the set of snowy night. Nancy, meanwhile, tries to convince herself that he is just her nightmare. Some scenes from the film are additionally previewed in a bunch of new stills.

Justin Bieber considered trying out for "American Idol" - but was signed up by record label bosses before he was old enough to audition. The singer dreamed of competing in the hit TV talent show but was waiting until he turned 16, when he would be eligible to try out.

But his reality TV plans were pushed aside after his performances on YouTube.com were discovered by Island Records executives, who rushed to add him to their roster. When asked if he would have competed on Idol, Bieber tells MTV.com, "For sure! You know, we used to watch (Idol). Me and my mom used to watch it when I was little and we were like, 'I could get on there, you know'."

Lady GaGa is getting a headstart on her next album - she's recording tracks in a mini studio on her tourbus. The "Poker Face" hitmaker is currently traveling the world with her "Monster Ball" tour but she hasn't stopped work on her next album, according to R&B singer Akon, who signed her to his KonLive label in 2007.

The pop star has reportedly written the majority of the follow-up to 2009's "The Fame" between concerts. He tells Vibe magazine, "She records while she's on the road. I'm flying out to Europe to work on some new records with her. GaGa's just like me. She has a tour bus with a studio in it. Some of the songs I've heard are going to be crazy. She's getting bigger and better."

Incarcerated rapper Lil Wayne is facing a lawsuit from behind bars - a music producer is suing him over royalty payments from his hit track "Lollipop".

The hip-hop star is currently serving a year-long sentence at New York's Rikers Island prison after pleading guilty to gun possession charges. But Wayne, real name Dwayne Carter Jr., is facing more legal problems after Jim Jonsin, who co-wrote the star's Grammy-winning "Lollipop", filed a lawsuit alleging he has yet to receive any royalty payments for his work on the hit single.

"Private Practice" star Kate Walsh is moving on following the dissolution of her marriage to Alex Young - she's been spotted house-hunting in California with her new boyfriend.

The actress' relationship with film executive Young turned nasty after their 2008 split and the former couple became embroiled in a bitter legal battle over spousal support and the division of assets. The divorce was finalized earlier this month, with Walsh agreeing to hand over half of her TV earnings for shows filmed during the 14 months they were man and wife - and she's keen to put the failed marriage firmly behind her by moving in with boyfriend Neil Andrea, an underwater-camera operator.

Brooke Shields is pleased the photographer who snapped a nude photo of her as a child failed to profit from the image, calling his financial struggles "justice". The "Blue Lagoon" star posed naked for snapper Garry Gross as a pre-teen, and she alleges he tried to make money by selling the controversial image when she turned 16.

Shields subsequently attempted to stop Gross from using the picture, but a court ruled the shot didn't breach child pornography laws. Artist Richard Prince later made one of Gross' images famous by taking a photo of the original and featuring it in his own work.

After several trailers and sneak peek videos which mostly share similar story about the toy gang, "Toy Story 3" has finally launched a new international trailer which explains more about the storyline. Opened with emotionally arousing scenes where the toys have to say goodbye to their owner Andy, the video then switches to capture them at Sunnyside.

The trailer then shows the moment when Woody and his friends decide to go back to their old home and meet Andy before he leaves for college. However, it will not become an easy journey as they can not easily get out of the local day-care center.

Samuel L. Jackson is disappointed producers left him out of the upcoming "Thor" movie - because he was convinced his character Nick Fury would make an appearance in the blockbuster.

The "Pulp Fiction" star made his debut as comic book icon Fury in a short scene at the very end of "Iron Man", and he is set to reprise the role in the sequel. His character is also due to appear in "The First Avenger: Captain America" and "The Avengers", and Jackson admits he was surprised to have been left out of "Thor" - because a flurry of press stories linked him to the film.

Justin Bieber remains Billboard Hot 200 champ this week. His second album "My World 2.0" secures the hot spot for third non-consecutive week. It shifts 92,000 units which becomes the smallest selling number for a chart topper since Chrisette Michele's "Epiphany" topped the list with 83,000 in May 2009.

Sitting behind Justin at the runner-up position is MGMT. The band crack the chart with their new release "Congratulations" which has sold 66,000 copies. Lady Antebellum follow at No. 3 with they award-winning album "Need You Now".

In just two hours, "American Idol" successfully raised more than $15 million as part of "Idol Gives Back" special. The money raised before the east coast airing was done is expected to escalate in the next few hours. The charity program, which started in 2007 and is revived after last year's absence, has raised more than $140 million throughout the years.

The money will go to charity organizations such as Save the Children, the Children's Defense Fund, America's Second Harvest, Boys & Girls Clubs of America and Children's Health Fund. Indeed, the focus is shifted this year since America itself is going through economy crisis. Producer Cecile Prot-Coutaz said, "This year, we're a little bit more weighted toward domestic causes."

From Pasadena Civic Arena, "Idol Gives Back" host Queen Latifah along with her "Just Wright" co-star Common presents a performance from Carrie Underwood. The "American Idol" alum delivers "Change".

Prior to Carrie's performance, George Lopez appears in front of audience, taking over Ryan Seacrest's duty to announce the first round of the evening's result. He talked about considering to audition to replace Simon Cowell and then asked the seven contestants to stand up.

"Shrek Forever After" premiere has kicked off the 9th Annual Tribeca Film Festival. On Wednesday, April 21, the cast for the film gathered at the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York City to promote this DreamWorks' animation which does not open wide in U.S. theaters until May 21.

Cameron Diaz, who provides the voice for Fiona, hit the green carpet which was set to match the color of main character Shrek. Donning a simple black dress, she was seen posing next to other cast mates, including Antonio Banderas, Mike Myers and Eddie Murphy who all suited up in black outfits.

Rufus Wainwright has banned fans from applauding him on his current U.K. tour. The singer is currently playing concerts around Britain, but he's requested audience members refrain from clapping during the first half of his show.

A post on his website reads, "Rufus has asked us to pass on this message to everyone attending his shows on the tour. The first part of the program will be performed as a song cycle with visuals by Douglas Gordon. During the first set, Rufus has asked that you please do not applaud until after he has left the stage. His exit is part of the piece."

Green Day's "American Idiot" musical has opened to lacklustre reviews on Broadway - with critics labeling the show "dull" and "ordinary". The production is based around the group's 2004 album of the same name, with a storyline worked out around the songs on the record.

The stage showed opened in New York on Tuesday night, April 20, but although critics praised the rock soundtrack, many were disappointed by the plot. Jesse Oxfeld, of the New York Observer, writes, "I wish I could tell you I loved 'American Idiot'. It looks good; it sounds good; it features a talented and hardworking cast. But I can't. It's fun. But it's also, amid all the booming rock, a little dull."

British actor Jason Statham landed in trouble with authorities last weekend after allegedly taking a golf cart for a ride along a main road at the Coachella festival in Indio, California.

Comedienne Sarah Silverman has vowed never to joke about fat women - because she thinks they receive enough criticism. The star uses her shows to poke fun at people - but overweight ladies are off-limits to the funnywoman.

She tells Larry King, "I guess if there is anything I wouldn't talk about... fat jokes about women. That always bums me out because I feel like we live in a country where fat women - at least in white America - don't deserve love. And I don't think that's true for men. You see every sitcom star is like a fat guy with some gorgeous wife."

Tim Urban's charming smile can no longer help him to stay on "American Idol". The aspiring singer who is dubbed Teflon Tim for his good looks and mediocre voice, finally got voted off this week when his version of Goo Goo Dolls' "Better Days" failed to inspire.

On the performance night, Randy Jackson said that his performance was just OK. Ellen DeGeneres compared Tim's performance to soup of the day, sometimes you like it sometimes you don't , and last night, she didn't like it. Kara DioGuardi said it was not his best performance while Simon Cowell thought it was an improvement although it was "a bit of a let down".

Heather Locklear has added another case to her reckless driving record. The "Melrose Place" star, who is still in probation after allegedly driving under the influence of prescription medication in 2008, was cited on Saturday, April 17 after a resident reported hearing a crash around 4 A.M.

Ventura County Sheriff's Captain Eric Dowd said the call was not made until 7:48 P.M. Police then conducted an investigation that led them to Heather, whom they believe was behind the wheel at the time of the crash.

Stephanie Pratt, or better known as Spencer Pratt's sister who also appears on "The Hills", is telling people to "be nice to bunnies". In order to get her message delivered, Stephanie agrees to what PETA is best known for, stripping down to get the attention.

Deemed an "outspoken animal advocate", Stephanie wants to stop cruelty towards bunnies, rats, mice, guinea pigs, and other animals which are used as lab rats. "Guinea pigs and rats and bunnies [are] blinded, poisoned, and burned for such a useless experiment that's not needed," said the reality show star.

Kicked off with a speech from President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle, the fundraising concert of "American Idol" continues with an appearance from Jennifer Garner. She reports for Save the Children campaign from an area in Appalachian Kentucky where 45 percent of the children are living in poverty.

Stating that "It's not fair" to leave those four-year-old kids growing up without help, she notes that audience can help make difference by donating their money. "These are pretty sweet kids," she says. "They deserve anything -- anything -- we can do to help them."

"Idol Gives Back" this year kicked off with a video greeting from President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle. " 'American Idol' has always been about changing lives - on the stage and around the world," President Obama said. "We want to thank American Idol for the example they're setting, and encourage everyone watching to make a contribution."

Obama then imitated judge Randy Jackson by saying, "You're all my dogs." The First Lady wouldn't miss the chance to mock the judges too, telling Simon Cowell to "be nice". Afterwards, Ryan Seacrest welcomed the four judges who each brought back stories from around the world.

Rihanna was admitted to a private clinic after performing a concert in Zurich, Switzerland on Monday night, April 19. But the singer has been back entertaining her fans and hit the stage in Lyon, France on Tuesday, April 20.

Her representative has confirmed that the Barbadian beauty "had an injured rib and went to have it looked at to be sure it was nothing serious, and it wasn't." Now the singer is fine as the rep adds, "All is okay and the tour is going great." However, it has not been mentioned what caused the 22-year-old to suffer the injury.
