Universal Pictures will pair Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman up for a comedy. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the two are set to star in "Change Up" with Bateman's character, who is described as a responsible family man, switching bodies with his best friend, a lazy man-child played by Reynolds.

Said to be a male-centric take on the genre, "Change Up" will be directed and produced by David Dobkin. Meanwhile, Jon Lucas and Scott Moore who have previously written "The Hangover" are tapped to provide the script for this upcoming movie, which is scheduled for 2011 release.

Val Kilmer is set to play another music great in a biopic about "Crimson & Clover" hitmaker Tommy James. The actor, who played Jim Morrison in Oliver Stone's "The Doors", is in talks to portray James in a new film based on the singer's autobiography, "Me, The Mob And The Music".

In an interview aired on BlogTalkRadio on Friday, March 12, James claims his producer partners are keen to make a start on the film about his amazing life - and are hoping to release it by the end of 2011. He says, "We'll be making a major announcement in about three weeks."

Linkin Park are suing an insurance company after its officers refused to compensate the rockers for a string of gigs canceled because of frontman Chester Bennington's back injury. The band pulled out of six concerts in 2008 after Bennington hurt his back while putting together a toy for his son.

The "Crawling" hitmakers then attempted to claim back the lost profits through Lloyd's of London but were denied, with officials alleging the ailment was pre-existing when the insurance policy was granted. Now the group has filed a multi-million dollar lawsuit in a bid to recoup the cash, reports TMZ.com.

Meat Loaf's musical comeback will be based around a concept album about a dying soldier. The rocker will release "Hang Cool Teddy Bear" in May, and he reveals the whole album is about a mysterious military man.

He tells WENN, "It's the story of a soldier. He's been in battle and he's lying face down on the ground. He can't move, but he turns his head and starts to see blood run across the ground, and so he thinks he's going to die. They always say you see your life flash backward when you're about to die. But his life flashes forward - into what possibly could happen. He sees what his life could be: the good and the bad."

An anti-abortion activist has been arrested after allegedly making threats on Elton John's life. Neal Horsley is being held in the Fulton County jail in Atlanta, Georgia following his arrest on Wednesday, March 10. He was taken into custody by the police fugitive squad and members of the U.S. Marshal's office and charged with making terrorist threats, criminal defamation and using the Internet to disseminate threats, according to the Atlanta-Journal Constitution newspaper.

The Pussycat Dolls wannabe Natalie Mejia, of girl band Girlicious, has been charged with drug possession after Glendale, California police caught her with cocaine in her Gucci handbag. The singer, who shot to fame after appearing in Pussycat Dolls reality show "Girlicious", initially told cops she had no idea how the drugs got into her designer bag after she and a friend were pulled over for speeding and the car was searched.

TMZ reports 21-year-old Mejia allegedly had more than a dozen bags of cocaine stashed in her purse. The driver of the car was also charged with one felony count of possession for sale of a controlled substance and one misdemeanor count of driving without a valid license.

Great news for Jennifer Morrison's fans, she will be back to "House M.D." not only one time but probably a couple more. The actress who plays Cameron in the medical drama told TV Guide that she heard the writers are writing a storyline for her character.

"There have been discussions of me doing a few episodes next year based on what they end up writing," said Morrison. "Contractually, they've guaranteed me a certain number of episodes next year - I think three or four, which means that they're probably very much leaning toward writing a storyline for the character."

For weeks, there were wide rumors about who will land the coveted role of Captain America in "The First Avenger: Captain America". Now, finally there are talks about who will portray his nemesis in the upcoming film and Hugo Weaving comes out as the possible depicter.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Marvel Studios is determined to get Weaving starring as Red Skull, but the deal has not been sealed yet. British singer Cheryl Cole has pulled out of a string of promotional appearances after doctors diagnosed her with bronchitis. The Girls Aloud's star was slated to appear on Jonathan Ross' TV chat show and Radio 1's Live Lounge this week to promote her new solo track, "Parachute".

But now both appearances have been scrapped because Cole is suffering from bronchitis, according to Britain's The Sun. Cole's illness comes just weeks after she announced her split from soccer ace husband Ashley Cole in February. Conan O'Brien is ready to announce the dates to his live tour that would visit at least 30 cities starting April 12. Accompanied by the gang, Conan has dubbed the jaunt "Legally Prohibited From Being Funny on Television," which employs it from the recent incident between him and Jay Leno for the spot of "Tonight Show". For his exit from the show, Conan is banned from appearing on TV until September.

Conan will kick it off not in common cities like L.A. or N.Y. but rather go to Eugene, Ore. There would also be visits in two Canadian provinces within the two-month tour which keeps adding dates. "It was either a massive 30-city tour or start helping out around the house," Conan quipped.

Howard Stern has refused to apologize for his unflattering comments about Oscar-nominated actress Gabourey Sidibe - insisting the portly "Precious: Based on the Novel PUSH by Sapphire" star "needs help". The radio host came under fire after he blasted Sidibe on his Sirius radio show on Monday, March 8, calling her "the most enormous, fat black chick I've ever seen."

A brand new song from Usher's upcoming sixth studio album "Raymond vs. Raymond" has hit the web. Called "Guilty", the song features rapper T.I. who was recently released from prison and moved to a halfway house.

While Usher pleads guilty for becoming a heart breaker, T.I. mentions Tiger Woods in his rapping part. Robert Pattinson's fans will soon be able to get their hands on the actor's clothes - the costumes he wore in new movie "Remember Me" are to be sold off for charity. The items, which include a blue Prada suit and Birkenstock shoes, will go under the hammer on internet auction site iCollector.com on March 13.

Former child star Corey Haim was "destitute" when he died, according to his close friend Corey Feldman. The "Lost Boys" star was discovered unresponsive at his mother's California home on Wednesday, March 10 and was pronounced dead upon arrival at a hospital in Burbank.

After an unofficial confirmation from Betty White herself, executive producers of "Saturday Night Live" have released the official announcement on Thursday, March 11. The "Golden Girls" star will host on May 8 as part of the Mother's Day celebratory episode. "She's the mother of us all in comedy, so it will be a celebration of Betty White," Lorne Michaels said.

Michaels admitted that he has always wanted White as a host but was always declined. But it was her appearance on the Super Bowl ad this year that finally lit the fuse and prompted a Facebook campaign drawing more than half a million supporters. The team behind Oscar-winning documentary "The Cove" have successfully orchestrated a sting operation at a California restaurant they accuse of serving up illegal whale meat. Louie Psyhoyos and Ric O'Barry's movie follows a group of activists as they struggle with police and fishermen to gain access to a secluded cove in Taiji, southern Japan, where dolphins are hunted.

Days after the film won the Best Documentary Oscar at Sunday's, March 7 Academy Awards, U.S. federal prosecutors announced the producers helped to uncover an alleged violation of the Marine Mammal Protection Act at Santa Monica restaurant, The Hump. According to police reports, two undercover diners working with the documentary's associate producer and "director of clandestine operations", Charles Hambleton, requested whale as part of a $600 omakase - a sushi meal in which the chef picks the dishes. The pair pocketed a sample of and gentic testing confirmed it was meat from the endangered Sei whale.

Beyonce Knowles's part is not shown until GaGa is released from the prison. "It's your lucky day. Some idiots bailed you out," so the guard tells her. Rockers Pink Floyd have triumphed in their battle against EMI - record label bosses have been ordered to pay the group $60,000 as part of a dispute over online royalty payments. The "Wall" hitmakers took their case to London's High Court on Tuesday, March 9, with lawyers for the band arguing the company should not be allowed to dismantle the group's albums and sell individual tracks online.

The band's attorney Robert Howe claimed a contractual clause between the parties "expressly prohibited" such "unbundling", insisting the band wants to retain "artistic control" over its work. And Judge Andrew Morritt ruled in the group's favor on Thursday, March 11 - ordering EMI chiefs to hand over $60,000 in costs as an interim payment, with the full amount to be calculated at a later date.

Tragic actor Corey Haim had pulmonary congestion, according to initial findings by a Los Angeles coroner - but officials have not determined if the condition killed the former child star. The "Lost Boys" star died from a suspected drug overdose in his mother's Los Angeles apartment on Wednesday, March 10.

His cause of death has not yet been determined but TMZ reports four medications, including painkiller Vicodin, prescribed to Haim were found in the property. The website also alleges experts at the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office have informed Haim's mother Judy that the actor had pulmonary congestion, an enlarged heart and water in his lungs.

Few months after the teaser trailer for "Shrek Forever After" was debuted, another sneak peek video for the film has been made available by Paramount Pictures by releasing the full trailer. Opened with the part when Shrek makes a deal with Rumpelstiltskin, the snippet then jumps to capture what happens to the ogre when he is stuck in a parallel Far Far Away.

Ending up as a domesticated family man after a series of adventures, Shrek is longing for the days when he felt like a "real ogre" and is tricked into signing a pact with the smooth-talking dealmaker, Rumpelstiltskin. He suddenly finds himself in a twisted, alternate version of Far Far Away, where ogres are hunted, Rumpelstiltskin is king and Shrek and Fiona have never met. Now, it's up to Shrek to undo all he's done in the hopes of saving his friends, restoring his world and reclaiming his one true love and family.

Words on the block are, Katherine Heigl and her Dr. Izzie Stevens will no longer be part of "Grey's Anatomy". The actress who took a three-month maternity leave was supposed to report back to duty on March 1 but she reportedly "was not there".

On further development, it is said that Heigl would like to be off her contract so that she can concentrate on her film career. EW reported that a final exit agreement between Heigl's camp and ABC Studios is underway. Creator Shonda Rhimes allegedly has also agreed to this release.
