The rocker has come under fire after hurling a special award presented to his former band Oasis into the crowd at the ceremony in London on Tuesday, February 16.

And the unpredictable singer caused more mayhem backstage, after he allegedly pushed over a model dressed as a BRITs silver trophy in the VIP bar area. According to Britain's The Sun newspaper, Gallagher knocked the girl over and was confronted by her boyfriend, before being escorted out by event security.

Rapper Jay-Z has been caught up in a race scandal following allegations security at his BRIT Awards after party on Tuesday, February 16 banned white people from entering the VIP area. The "99 Problems" superstar threw a lavish bash at Merah nightclub in London following his Best International Male Solo win at the ceremony.

But the night descended into chaos after fights broke out amid people scrambling to get close to the star. And the atmosphere turned even nastier after security personnel working on the doors of the VIP room allegedly refused to allow any white people into the area, while letting black partygoers straight through, according to Britain's Daily Star newspaper.

Walt Disney Pictures is developing another high school film, Variety reported. After successfully bringing "High School Musical" franchise to big screen with "High School Musical 3: Senior Year", the studio now plans another movie titled "Prom" which will highlight on students.

Though it is said to have similar tone to the Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens-starring teen comedy, the upcoming film will not be musical. Instead, it will center its story on a group of teens prepping for the big dance. For the acting talents, the Mouse House will likely cast completely unknown actors to star as the nine lead roles.

Socialite Kim Kardashian came under fire from her Twitter.com followers on Tuesday, February 16 after she nearly disclosed the identity of an undercover U.S. air marshal while onboard a flight bound for Los Angeles. The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star logged on to the micro-blogging website after boarding a plane in New York and told fans she was seated next to a top secret agent, whose identity is concealed to ensure the safety of fellow passengers.

She wrote, "I'm on the airplane...love wifi. I am sitting next to an Air Marshall (sic)! Jim the air marshall (sic) makes me feel safe!" Kardashian's 'tweet' sparked fury among some of her followers, who raised concerns about the star exposing such privileged information.

Best pals Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are planning to reteam for new movie projects - the pair is reportedly set to sign a producing deal with Warner Bros. Studio. The Hollywood stars are longterm friends and won the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay after teaming up to write 1997 drama "Good Will Hunting", but they have since failed to reunite on the big screen.

However, Affleck and Damon could be working together in the near future following reports they are drawing up a deal with Warner Bros. to give movie bosses the first look at any projects they produce.

The Jonas Brothers were using their break time from filming "Chasing Butterfly's" for good. On Wednesday, February 17 afternoon, Nick Jonas and Joe Jonas played throw and catch on the film's set in Santa Monica, Los Angeles, Calif. before big brother Kevin Jonas joined them later.

He tells WENN, "I spoke to Roman about playing the ghost with a Scottish accent and he said, no he had to be English. Also, he (character) went to Cambridge (University), so my first thought was that he would have a standard English accent; I find it difficult to do that accent without feeling kind of posh. Hawaii has become the new home for the Black Pearl. The large ship which is featured in "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl" has arrived in Kalaeloa Harbor on early Sunday morning, February 15. According to Hawaii News Now, the ship was brought there as the preparation for the shooting of "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" which is scheduled to be commenced this summer and will take place at Oahu and Kauai.

To get to Hawaii, the Black Pearl traveled from the Bahamas to Los Angeles before then to Kalaeloa. State leaders said a lot of work went into getting the film there and the excitement of the ship is just the beginning.

Ke$ha has wrecked Lionel Richie and Quincy Jones' dreams of debuting their revamped all-star "We Are the World 25: for Haiti" charity hit at the top of the U.S. pop charts. The party-loving pop star will start a ninth week at number one when the Billboard Hot 100 is officially released on Thursday, February 18, according to early estimates.

And that means the new Artists For Haiti single will debut at two on the new countdown. The track was released as a digital download on Friday evening, February 12 after the new video accompanying the track debuted during the telecast of the opening night of the Winter Olympics.

Ashton Kutcher has turned technology diplomat in an effort to help Russian officials crackdown on human trafficking. The tech-friendly star has joined a delegation of politicians and boffins, which has jetted off to Russia to offer advice and tips about how technology can help lawmakers.

The project follows the success of a similar U.S. State Department-related mission to Iraq and Mexico City in 2009, which provided officials in those countries with information and equipment to help them beat crime. While in Russia, Kutcher will discuss how communications technologies and social media, like his beloved Twitter.com, can be used to strengthen and broaden the ties between America and Russia and help leaders there fight crime issues.

Ludacris' music video which was filmed over Super Bowl XLIV weekend for his new single "My Chick Bad" has got a preview. The clip comes out on BET, teasing on the rapper's part and a female cameo dancing to the track.

In addition to the snippet, there is also a behind-the-scene footage hitting the web. Serving behind the lens is Taj, and playing as a cameo is Nicki Minaj. Jeremy Renner is preparing for another battle. After playing in Iraq drama war, he is now in negotiation with Universal Pictures and director Peter Berg to take the lead role in "Battleship", so The New York Times reports.

Scottish movie star Ewan McGregor has explained the delay of his new movie, "I Love You Phillip Morris" - Disney bosses didn't want young film fans thinking their Ebenezer Scrooge was gay. The film, in which McGregor and Jim Carrey play lovers, was initially slated for release in 2009, but movie bosses behind the "A Christmas Carol" blockbuster feared Carrey's portrayal of a gay man would confuse their audience, according to the Scot.

McGregor tells the new issue of Out magazine, "There was talk that Disney fended off the release until after 'A Christmas Carol' came out. They didn't want kids thinking Ebenezer Scrooge was a bender."

HBO has dropped another promo of its upcoming miniseries "The Pacific" which, unlike the previously-released ones, focuses on the emotional capacity of the three main characters. This footage includes Eugene facing opposition from his parents for going into the frontline and John leaving his wife behind to serve the country.

The latest epic war drama coming from producer Steve Spielberg, "The Pacific" follows three U.S. marines, Robert Leckie, Eugene Sledge, John Basilone in an intertwined story as they fought the Japanese in the pacific ocean. It traces back from their fist clash with the Japanese in the haunted jungles of Guadalcanal to the killing fields of Okinawa to the triumphant return home after V-J Day.

Brittany Murphy's brother has taken aim at the bosses of the cemetery where the actress was laid to rest in December 2009 - for refusing to let his father visit her grave. Angelo Bertolotti was denied access to Murphy's grave site on Monday, February 15 after arriving at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in the Hollywood Hills to pay his respects.

Staff told the actress' estranged father that only family members could visit Murphy's grave - and because his name wasn't on her death certificate, they couldn't grant him access. Distraught Bertolotti was forced to leave the cemetery without seeing his daughter's grave and his son, Murphy's half-brother Jeff, is speaking out about what he calls "a travesty".

MGMT choose to go colorful and comical for the artwork which will be featured on the front page of their upcoming album "Congratulations". Coming out via RollingStone, the artwork sees a cartoon character of two-headed orange chimpanzee riding on an icy wave.

Aimed to follow up their 2007 effort "Oracular Spectacular", this new release is scheduled to hit the market across U.S. on April 13. In an interview with NME, the duo said they won't release any singles from the album.

Avril Lavigne reportedly is back on the dating saddle with Brody Jenner as her new man. The singer who divorced Sum 41's vocalist Deryck Whibley last year, was spotted hanging out with the reality show star at Guys & Dolls in Los Angeles and they were reportedly "into each other".

Legendary Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page is documenting his history with the band in a series of pictures for a limited-edition autobiography. Page has signed a deal with Genesis Publications to put together a 500-page book titled "Zoso", his first officially published work.

The tome will have a limited run of 2,500 copies worldwide, although a release date has yet to be announced, according to The Pulse of Radio. Meanwhile 66-year-old Page insists plans for a written memoir have been put on hold - and may only be released after his death.

Country star Taylor Swift has been tipped for big success in Hollywood after impressing director Garry Marshall with her acting role in "Valentine's Day". The singer plays a cheerleader in the new romantic comedy, starring alongside a host of top actors including Julia Roberts, Jessica Alba, Anne Hathaway, Ashton Kutcher and Bradley Cooper.

Swift has already cemented her place in the pop world after taking home a clutch of Grammy Awards in January, but she could also make a name for herself in Hollywood too, according to the "Pretty Woman" filmmaker. Marshall says, "She may win something as an actress very soon. I think she's got a career and if things go well... ."

"American Idol" contestant Chris Golightly has been disqualified from the Top 24 only to be replaced by Tim Urban at the last minute. Some may remember him from the audition round in Los Angeles as the guy who has been in 25 foster homes since he was 18 months old.

Ryan Seacrest made it official with his tweet on Wednesday, February 17 after the revelation of Top 24 went on air. He wrote, "been determined that Chris Golightly is ineligible to continue on IDOL, contestant Tim Urban has replaced Golightly as part of the Top 24". He however, remained shady on the reason of the disqualification, writing "must have broken a rule or maybe had previous deal".

One of the music videos filmed by Lil Wayne prior to his yearlong prison sentence has been teased. A number of pictures taken by Derick G from "Roger That" video shoot give a look at Weezy and his Young Money crew shooting their part in front of green screen.

Nicki Minaj, Shanell, Lil Twist, Tyga and Birdman are snapped coming to the set, joining Weezy. The video is directed by Rousseau who previously called the filming marathon as "mission impossible." Akon is considering an early retirement thanks to Lady GaGa - because signing the pop sensation to his record label has set him up financially for life. Akon signed the "Poker Face" hitmaker to his KonLive label at Interscope Records in 2007 after she was dropped by another of the company's imprints.

GaGa's Grammy-winning hits have gone on to dominate music charts across the globe, and Akon admits he could quit his own career for good and continue to live in luxury thanks to the lucrative deal. Cory Monteith relishes playing a student on hit U.S. show "Glee" - because he dropped out of high school when he was a teenager. The 27-year-old Canadian actor plays heart-throb Finn Hudson in the hit U.S. musical comedy based in a fictional Ohio school.

And Monteith, who dropped out of high school in the ninth grade, admits being on set feels like the education he never had. He tells Britain's OK! magazine, "I didn't really go to high school. I started working when I was 16."

Several new stills from "How to Train Your Dragon" have been unveiled. Unlike the previously released images which highlight Hiccup and his injured dragon, these pictures introduce other characters, such as Astrid who is voiced by America Ferrera, as well as the dragons.

Based on the book by Cressida Cowell of the same title, the film is set in the mythical world of burly Vikings and wild dragons. It follows Hiccup, a Viking teenager who doesn't exactly fit in with his tribe's longstanding tradition of heroic dragon slayers. His world is turned upside down when he encounters a dragon that challenges him and his fellow Vikings to see the world from an entirely different point of view.

A spokesperson for pop star Katy Perry has dismissed rumors she has signed a deal to develop her own shoe range. According to the New York Post, the fashion-forward singer was offered $1 million to collaborate with designer Steve Madden, who recently teamed up with twin moguls Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen for their new footwear collection, Olsenboye.

However, the "I Kissed a Girl" hitmaker isn't about to follow in the footsteps of celebrity shoe designers Jessica Simpson, Paris Hilton and Stacy Ferguson. In a statement denying the claims, the rep says, "Katy is working on her next album, not a shoe line."

The making of Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato's "Make a Wave" music video is once again put forward. Following the set-pictures outed earlier this week, a behind-the-scene footage emerges via E! News, giving more details on the scenes the two have filmed for the video.

"Me and Demi have a lot of fun. We're hanging out ... It's such a good time," Joe said. In one of the filmings which took place at Malibu beach, the Jonas Brothers' lead vocalist is seen serenading Demi who is sitting on a jeep. He is also running on the beach along with his Disney's co-star.

As the news came out that Jon Gosselin has settled the lawsuit with TLC, one question remains whether he will still be the network's star. For once, a confidential contract leaked on Wednesday, February 17 stated that "the whole Gosselin family remain under contract with TLC."

This possibility is fueled by Jon's attorney Mark Heller who said, "Jon has expressed his desire to close the litigation chapter of Jon & Kate Plus 8. ...He's hoping that TLC will move forward with the best interest of the Gosselin family." He added, "Sometimes litigants kiss and make-up, finding their relationship is much better the second time around. As Jon's attorney, I truly hope that this new adventure for TLC and the Gosselins is a much more joyful journey."

Singer Lily Allen is pleased she picked up the British Female Solo Artist trophy at Tuesday's, February 16 BRIT awards because it's the perfect end to her music career. The "Smile" hitmaker was among the big winners at the ceremony, beating the likes of Leona Lewis and Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine to land the coveted title.

"Alice in Wonderland" has come out with two new snippets. Walt Disney Pictures has provided a new TV spot which features some never-before-seen scenes including the moment when the Mad Hatter asks Alice to help saving the world.

Former Guns N' Roses drummer Steven Adler will expose his controversial history with Axl Rose's band and his struggle to stay sober in a new tell-all memoir. Adler was fired from Guns N' Roses in 1989 before Rose famously fell out with guitarist Slash - amid rumors the drummer's drug use was hampering his performance.

In 2009, Adler was ordered by a judge to check into rehab following a 2008 felony drug charge. His battle with addiction was chronicled on U.S. reality TV show "Celebrity Rehab" with Dr. Drew and its spin-off series "Sober House".

Blige, Jermaine Dupri announced that he will re-record Quincy Jones' classic "The Secret Garden (Sweet Seduction Suite)".

For this project, Jermaine tags the likes of Usher, Robin Thicke, Tyrese Gibson and Trey Songz. But, this singer/producer decides to keep the original chorus of the 1989 song which is sung by Barry White.

James McAvoy is often mistaken for fellow Scottish actor Ewan McGregor - because they have identical accents. The "Atonement" actor's heavy Scottish brogue often confuses Americans - and when they discover where he hails from, many presume he is "Trainspotting" star McGregor.

McAvoy says, "Even now, in America, people will go, 'Hey, I didn't know you were Irish.' You go, 'I'm not.' They go, 'What? Where are you from? Australia?' What? People hear your accent and go, 'Are you Ewan McGregor?' I look nothing like him."

Tiger Woods is ready to come out of his shell, planning a talk this Friday, February 19 which will be opened only to "a small group of friends, colleagues and close associates". Scheduled to begin 11 A.M. EST at TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., the golfer will apologize for unspecified past behavior and discuss his plans for the future.

"While Tiger feels that what happened is fundamentally a matter between him and his wife, he also recognizes that he has hurt and let down a lot of other people who were close to him," as it was stated on the press release. "He also let down his fans. He wants to begin the process of making amends, and that's what he's going to discuss."

Actor Colin Firth struggled with his gay role in upcoming movie "A Single Man" - because he couldn't resist kissing Julianne Moore. The Brit plays a homosexual college professor in Tom Ford's directorial debut opposite Moore, who stars as his character's lovestruck best friend.

But Ford had to berate Firth over one smooching scene, because the actor was so enamored with Moore he got carried away and couldn't stop kissing her. He says, "It never occurred to me that there was any issue about playing gay until Julianne kissed me and I had to resist."

The 60th Berlin International Film Festival has been used by Focus Features to premiere one of their films "The Kids Are All Right". On Wednesday, February 17, Julianne Moore has supported the promotional effort by attending the special screening which took place at Festival Palace in Berlin, Germany.

Singer Leona Lewis has branded bosses of Britain's biggest department store Harrods "backwards" - for refusing to ban fur from their shelves. The "Bleeding Love" hitmaker turned down a $1.6 million offer to launch the London store's summer sale in 2008 over its policy on stocking animal products.

And she's still seething that the company's bosses have not taken action to remove animal pelts from shelves, despite her public snub. Vegetarian Lewis tells Britain's Smooth Radio West Midlands, "Yeah they did offer me money to open the sale but I said no because they stock fur."

Yoko Ono was joined by a star-studded line-up including Eric Clapton, Bette Midler and the Scissor Sisters on Tuesday night, February 16 to perform the first Plastic Ono Band's show in 40 years.
