Exclusive Interview: OneRepublic on New Album and Song for Timbaland

Although their frontman Ryan Tedder is busy writing songs for other artists, OneRepublic managed to get their second studio album "Waking Up" done and filled it with catchy tunes that are singable for everyone. The band, who are currently touring with Rob Thomas, will release it across United States on November 17.

In advance of the album, bassist Brent Kutzle exclusively told AceShowbiz what they have to offer in the forthcoming release. From talking about the album, he also revealed about submitting one of the album's songs for Timbaland's new album "Shock Value 2". The band's collaboration with Leona Lewis, their duet wish list and who, among the five members of the band, tweets the most are also addressed by Brent.

Robert Pattinson Wants 'Breaking Dawn' to Be Helmed by Gus Van Sant

After hinting that "The Twilight Saga's Breaking Dawn" is likely to happen, Robert Pattinson has talked about who should direct the movie. In a recent interview with MTV, the actor has revealed his desire to work with Gus Van Sant, the man behind 1997 "Good Will Hunting". "I think Gus Van Sant would be great to do it," he said.

As for his reason in choosing Van Sant, the actor claimed the helmer has good reputation for making film in Portland, where the shooting for the next installment of the "Twilight" movies will possibly take place. "He shoots everything in Portland. He's good at making it look beautiful," he credited the director. Later, he added, "It's all about teenage love and obsessions. I think Gus Van Sant would be great."

"Sons of Anarchy" next week will all be about accumulating plan to get a retaliation, with Jax suggesting to Clay "We kill them all". In this week's episode called "Balm", the whole truth came out when Gemma tells SAMCRO what really happened to her. In continuation of that, Opie seeks both revenge and reconciliation, while Chibs makes a secret deal with Agent Stahl to protect his wife and daughter.

In the season 2 premiere Gemma was the victim of a gang rape but she chose not to tell the boys and claimed it was an accident. Tara was in the know of this but she also kept it a secret. Maggie Siff who plays Tara said, "The revelation of what happened to Gemma is so big in and of itself that it's kind of distracting from everything else around it. There isn't a ton of blowback. It's something that's dealt with, but at the end of the day it's pretty easy to understand why Tara's kept that secret."

First Photos From 'The Sorcerer's Apprentice' Unveiled

The first official pictures from Disney's fantasy movie "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" have been unveiled by Fanboyz.net. The three images, which were scanned from an unnamed magazine, give a glimpse at two of the movie's characters, Balthazar Blake and Dave Stutler.

The first image features the master sorcerer who is seen talking to his younger partner while he points his index finger to Dave. Another picture, additionally, exposes Balthazar in his all-black outfit walking through a gate. Meanwhile, the latest shot captures Dave striking a fighting pose.

Bradley Cooper Said to Propose to Renee Zellweger

Contrary to rumors that claim they have broken up, Bradley Cooper and Renee Zellweger apparently are taking their relationship to the next level as the actor reportedly is ready to propose to the actress. "It's very serious. As soon as his mom gives the sign off, he's going to propose," a source tells The New York Daily News.

"Renee's and Bradley's previous marriages [to Kenny Chesney and Jennifer Esposito, respectively] both ended after only four months. They have that in common - it's one of the things that brought them together," raves the source. Besides, their romance is "quite serious. Renee and Bradley are crazy about each other," adds the source.

In "The Bonnie Hunt Show" interview scheduled to be aired on Wednesday, November 11, Jennifer Morrison sets straight the confusion whether her character will be yanked out of "House M.D.". Morrison gives a nod when Bonnie Hunt throws the question "You're done with House?", saying further "I am as far as I know, yes."

Back in August, there was a rumor that Cameron, the character played by Morrison, will be written off the story after she is having troubles with her husband Chase. It stems from the fourth episode of this season when an ailing ruthless dictator forces the team to split their moral obligation and logic. Chase did not tell his wife that he had forged the patient's test results, causing the dictator to lose his life.

Black Eyed Peas to Perform at 2010 Grammy Nominations Concert

Multiple Grammy award-winning act Black Eyed Peas are confirmed to make a live performance on December 2 when "The Grammy Nominations Concert Live!! - Countdown to Music's Biggest Night" is held. Hosting the gig, meanwhile, will be LL Cool J who has tweeted his excitement on Twitter.

Rihanna, who won Best Rap/Sung Collaboration Grammy in 2007, reportedly is also appointed to attend the event. Other musical guests who will also be past Grammy winners and / or nominees are yet to be announced. The concert will be aired live from Club Nokia in Los Angeles by CBS at 8 P.M. as a one-hour TV special.

'Monsters, Inc. 2' May Not Be in Production

Although there is wild rumor of "Monsters, Inc. 2" being in development, Pete Docter has hinted that the film is currently not in the works. In a recent interview with New York Magazine, the director of "Monsters, Inc." who has been attached to make the sequel claimed he is not producing the said project.

"I'm not working on [it]," Docter stated when asked whether or not he has been focusing on "Monsters, Inc. 2" after finishing "Up". Instead, the helmer said he has another project which has been kept under wraps. "I'm working on something else, but I cannot announce what it is," he said.

Fall Out Boy Remember the Past Through 'Alpha Dog' Music Video

Fall Out Boy have made public a music video in support of their new single "Alpha Dog". The scenes in the video are compiled from montage of their previous music videos and live concert footage. At the beginning, Pete Wentz calls some scenes in the video dangerous and warns fans not to imitate them.

"Alpha Dog" is one of the singles which is confirmed to appear in Fall Out Boy's first greatest hits album "Believers Never Die: Greatest Hits". The compilation set is plotted to arrive across United States on November 17. In addition to preparing to release the greatest hits album, they are also involved in the making of Lil Wayne's rock-themed album "Rebirth" along with Blink-182's drummer Travis Barker.

'Eastwick' Online Petition Started

Loyal and dedicated fans of "Eastwick" have started a petition directed at ABC Chairman, Stephen McPherson for him to bring back the show on screen. The comedy did not receive additional episodes order on Monday, November 9 beyond the original 13-episode commitment.

"We need to save 'Eastwick', one of the best show of the year," part of the petition read. At the time of writing, the signatures accumulated have reached 2,000 plus. There is also a Twitter account to save the show starring Rebecca Romijn being set up for trending topic.

Taylor Lautner Still Wants to Add More Pounds

Famously gaining pounds of muscles in order to be able to reprise his role as Jacob Black in "Twilight" sequel "The Twilight Saga's New Moon", Taylor Lautner still wants to bulk up even further. After experiencing the glory of "Inglourious Basterds" in box office chart, Brad Pitt has been said desperate to work on another installment of the drama action movie. Online that the leading actor has expressed his desire to see the prequel of the film.

Katt Williams Released From Jail After Posting Bond

In an update to its previous news of Katt Williams' weekend arrest on burglary and criminal trespassing charges, TMZ reports the actor-comedian has been released from the prison after posting bail. He was freed from Coweta County Jail in suburban Atlanta on Monday afternoon, November 9.

34-year-old Katt Williams was arrested in suburban Atlanta, Georgia on Sunday, November 8 after allegedly breaking into a house located in Newnan, about 38 miles southwest of Atlanta and stealing $3,555 worth of jewelry and collectible coins. He was said bringing a crowbar when he entered the building. His bail was set at more than $41,000.

The first teaser tailer for adventure fantasy movie "Kick-Ass" has come out through its official website. The more than one minute clip is opened with a narration by the major character, Dave Lizewski, who explains his desire to be a superhero. The snippet also introduces some characters, such as Hit Girl, Big Daddy, and Red Mist.

Based on Mark Millar's comic of the same title, "Kick-Ass" centers on Lizewski, an average teenager whose hobby of reading comic books inspires him to become a real-life superhero. Assembling green-colored suit and mask to wear, he opts to be called Kick-Ass and gets to work fighting crime.

"Clash of the Titans" is a modern version of the 1981 Greek mythology film. Lady GaGa's "Bad Romance" music video has finally come out in full. "There's this one shot in the video where I get kidnapped by supermodels. I'm washing away my sins and they shove vodka down my throat to drug me up before they sell me off to the Russian mafia," she told MTV about what the video is all about.

It also showcases her bizarre fashion style which includes razor-blade sunglasses. She commented, "That tough female spirit is something that I want to project. It's meant to be, 'This is my shield, this is my weapon, this is my inner sense of fame, this is my monster'."
