Pam of 'True Blood' Says Yes to Lesbian Story

Queen of Louisiana Sophie-Ann may not be the only lesbian on "True Blood". After creator Alan Ball projected his thought of having other characters to have a same-sex relationship, actress Kristin Bauer has stepped forward to express her willingness to participate in that storyline.

Bauer plays Pam the sidekick of Eric and the screener of Fangtasia. Ball said he thinks Pam has a "lesbian vibe", explaining further, "I don't know that that's all she is, but she certainly does seem to appreciate the women."

Wayne Rooney and Wife Coleen McLoughlin Welcome First Child

Soccer star Wayne Rooney has become a father as his wife Coleen McLoughlin has given birth to their first child together, a baby boy, on Monday, November 2. The newborn infant weighed at 8lb 2oz., and is named Kai Wayne Rooney.

The very pregnant Coleen checked into Liverpool Women's Hospital just after 10 P.M. on Sunday night, November 1 and Wayne reportedly was by her side when she gave birth to the baby boy. "Wayne was a star with Coleen. He didn't leave her side from the moment she came into the hospital," a source tells Daily Mail.

Kanye West has begun cooking up new materials for his next studio album. "Kanye's taking a bit of time away from the limelight. But he keeps telling me all these ideas he has for songs and fashion bits," fellow musician DJ A Track told Daily Star.

The disc jokey continued, "It's really amazing just how many ideas he has." Other details about the follow-up to "808's & Heartbreak" are still under wraps though. But, there is a chance that Soulja Boy will be involved.

Owen Wilson Is 'Marmaduke'

Owen Wilson has jumped from one dog movie to another as he signs on for "Marmaduke". Having been seen portraying the owner of a hyper-actively handful Labrador in "Marley & Me", the 40-year-old actor will provide the voice of the titular character, which happens to be a Great Dane.

With the signing in, Wilson joins the likes of Stacy Ferguson aka Fergie, Emma Stone, George Lopez, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Steve Coogan, Damon Wayans and Marlon Wayans who will supply the voices. He is following the steps of Bill Murray in voicing famous comic strip animal. Murray lent his voice to the lasagna-loving cat "Garfield".

Ian McKellen Talks 'The Hobbit' Script

Ian McKellen has finally read the script for "The Hobbit", and he shared that producer Peter Jackson and his co-scribblers, Fran Walsh and Philippa Boyens, have written the Gandalf screenplay specifically for him. The 70-year-old gushed about the matter to Sci Fi Wire while promoting AMC's "The Prisoner".

"As Peter has said, they loved writing Gandalf [for The Hobbit] because they knew who they were writing him for," the actor who will be seen reprising his role as Gandalf said. "There are a lot of characters in The Hobbit including, crucially, Bilbo, and they don't know who's going to play Bilbo. So it's extremely attractive that this part has been written for me."

"I recently I took a Twitter break because fans say really mean things on there," she reveals. "I don't know why Miley Cyrus doesn't have a Twitter any more, I'm not sure why, but I think that the fans need to understand that we're human too, and if you don't like us, if you don't like my music or if you don't like the way I act, that's totally fine."

'Southland' Officially Under TNT's Flag

After months of speculation and talks, TNT finally is harboring "Southland". The show that was dumped by NBC even before it kicks off the second season will restart the whole show under the new roof. TNT plans to have it on Tuesdays at 10/9c with the very first episode in season 1 airing on January 12.

In the airing right which was obtained from Warner Bros Television, TNT additionally gets the exclusive right to air the six episodes that have been shot for the second season. Whether the cable will order more episodes for the second season will have to depend on how it is performing in the rating.

No 'District 9' Sequel Until the Story Is Figured Out

A follow-up to summer hit "District 9" won't be happening in the near future due to its story. Nikki Finke of Deadline Hollywood Daily brought up the update, reporting that although Sony Pictures is more than willing to push forth the sequel, it will have to wait until producer Peter Jackson and director Neill Blomkamp come up with a story.

Finke wrote in its report, "...those close to producer Peter Jackson and director Neill Blomkamp say only it may happen 'at some point' when the duo 'figure out what the story is and organize their respective schedules'. " Jackson currently has a full plate with the J.R.R. Tolkien's adaptation, "The Hobbit", while Blomkamp is reportedly fielding numerous offers.

Rihanna Admits 'Love' on 'GMA' Interview

A written excerpt of Rihanna telling her side of story regarding the domestic violence done by her then-boyfriend Chris Brown has been unveiled. Sporting a new hairstyle, the Barbadian singer will do a one-on-one interview with Diane Sawyer on "Good Morning America" this Thursday, November 5.

"This happened to me. ... It can happen to anyone," Rihanna said in answer to one of Sawyer's questions. She later on admitted that Chris was indeed her "first big love", the fact that made the whole coping up situation difficult. The interview will also be aired as part of news magazine, "20/20" on Friday night.

Amidst reports about the rights of the "Terminator" franchise being up for auction surfaced, TV series creator Joss Whedon penned an open letter to the franchise owners, offering $10,000 for the rights. While some deemed his letter hilarious, the man behind "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Dollhouse" told Entertainment Weekly he is not just being funny.

"Here's the thing: It's not a slam on The Terminator. I love The Terminator. That part's totally true," the 45-year-old explained his grounds. "I was thinking to myself, 'Not since they auctioned off frames from The Little Mermaid have I wished I had more money this much. So you know what, never hurts to ask.' I loved the movies, even the later movies."

The production of "Sex and the City 2" has indeed left New York for Morocco, and photos from the North African set have made their way out as proofs. Spotted filming scenes at Marrakech, one of the country's biggest cities, were two of the "Sex and the City" stars, Sarah Jessica Parker and Cynthia Nixon.

SJP was captured wearing a J'adore Dior t-shirt with ball gown-like lavender and gray skirt. On her feet, she slipped on baby-pink snakeskin heels. Meanwhile, Nixon was seen in an all-white outfit consisting of a blazer and floor-length skirt. Two of the set photos can be seen at New York Post, while two others are posted by In Style.

Two sneak peeks into the forthcoming animation "How to Train Your Dragon" have come out in the form of a domestic and an international teaser trailer. The domestic version is debuted via Yahoo! Movies, while the international one comes out courtesy of Sky Movies. The two promo videos mostly offer similar footage but halfway through, different footage are disclosed.

In a mythical world of vikings and dragons lives a Viking teenager named Hiccup. Inhabiting the island of Berk where fighting dragons is a way of life, Hiccup finds that his offbeat sense of humor doesn't satisfy his tribe chief father. When he is included in Dragon Training, he seizes the chance to prove he has what it takes to be a fighter.

More fresh footage from the much awaited "Sherlock Holmes" have been unleashed through two brand new TV spots. Brought forth by The Movie Box, both of the spots reportedly were aired during the World Series. The first one offers a taste of the bromance between Holmes and Watson in addition to the actions and explosions, while the second one deals more with the titular character.

Based on Lionel Wigram's upcoming comic book, this action drama will present a new portrayal of Arthur Conan Doyle's most famous characters. It will see Sherlock Holmes and his partner Dr. Watson on their latest challenge. Having lethal fighting skills in addition to his legendary intellect, Holmes attempts to bring down a new nemesis and unravel a deadly plot that could destroy the country.

The fact that Ashlee Simpson's "Melrose Place" character has been written off is pissing her sister Jessica Simpson. The older Simpson wrote on her Twitter, "CW catching up on MP. who writes this crap?i have had bad scripts to work with,but this?thank God my sister is amazing and got you some press."

Ashlee is canned from "Melrose Place" after starring in the new series for several episodes in season 1. When the show was promoting its season premiere, her character Violet was made one of the regulars. Jessica had been keen on promoting the show while Ashlee was still attached, reminding her Twitter followers to watch it on Tuesday nights.

Official Tracklisting for Rihanna's 'Rated R' Arrives

Def Jam has released an official tracklisting for Rihanna's upcoming studio project "Rated R". Young Jeezy and will.i.am are lined up as her collaborators. In addition to Jeezy and the Black Eyed Peas' member, she will also join forces with Slash, the former guitarist of Guns N' Roses.

Out of thirteen tracks, at least four of them have been embraced by music fans. The lead single "Russian Roulette" was debuted last month one day before her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown revealed his own song "Crawl". The second single "Wait Your Turn" was leaked earlier this week, and "Hard", the duet track with Jeezy, has just made its way out. Meanwhile, "Te Amo" has hit the web long before the title of the album was confirmed.

'Star Trek' Director: Khan's Recasting Will Be a Challenge

Talks about "Star Trek" possibly having a new Khan are mounting. When talking to MTV's Josh Horowitz about the follow-up to 2009's "Star Trek", director J.J. Abrams discussed on the likelihood of recasting the popular baddie though he kept mum on whether or not the villain will be included in the untitled Star Trek sequel.

"Now that we are in a parallel existence with what fans of the original series love so much, we could introduce any number of characters, settings, references and situations that the original series introduced," the 43-year-old filmmaker shared his thought. "Dealing with Khan would certainly be a challenge, but we had an equal challenge in finding our crew of the Enterprise."

Rep Confirms Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva's First Child Already Born

It's official, a representative for Mel Gibson has confirmed earlier reports that claim the actor has welcomed his first child with girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva. The newborn baby, a girl, is Mel's eighth child as he has had six sons and one daughter with estranged wife Robyn Moore, and the second one for Oksana who already has a son with former boyfriend, actor Timothy Dalton.

"This will confirm that Oksana Grigorieva and Mel Gibson welcomed the arrival of a baby girl named Lucia on Friday, Oct. 30, 2009, at an undisclosed hospital in Los Angeles," Mel's representative Alan Nierob tells E! News. "No further details are available at this time."

Nathan Petrelli Is Killed on 'Heroes'

The "Heroes" character who will be killed off is none other than Peter's flying brother. Nikki Finke of Deadline Hollywood said that Adrian Pasdar is let go from the show and Kristin Dos Santos from E! Online added that the actor was not fired but he found it out from reading the script.

Nathan was actually one of the characters whom actor Greg Grunberg said was safe when the news about a major death in "Heroes" leaked last month. Santos' source said, "I know Adrian is getting killed off and was pissed about it because they didn't tell him...Greg could be talking about another death but I think he's probably covering and throwing fans off." There is still no word on how Nathan's exit from the show will be.

First Trailer of 'Prince of Persia: Sands of Time' Arrives

The first official trailer for video game adaptation "Prince of Persia: Sands of Time" has just been released by Walt Disney Pictures. First outed by IGN, the sneak peek is later put forth by MySpace. Narrated by Gemma Arterton's Tamina, it features glimpses of Jake Gyllenhaal as Dastan in action as well as offers first look at the magical dagger and what it is capable of.

"Prince of Persia: Sands of Time" follows Dastan, a street urchin in 6th century Persia who after showing valor in battle, is adopted by the king as his heir. Now as the fate of the world is in jeopardy, he must join forces with Tamina, a feisty and exotic princess, to prevent a villainous nobleman from possessing the Sands of Time, a gift from the gods that can reverse time and allow its possessor to rule the world.

Karolina Kurkova has become a first-time mother. The catwalk beauty has given birth to her first child with fiance Archie Drury last week, her representative has confirmed.

In a statement to People, the representative details, "Supermodel and 'G.I. Joe' actress Karolina Kurkova, 25, and film producer of 'Voices of Iraq', Archie Drury, welcomed a son Thursday (October, 29) in New York." The baby boy, named Tobin Jack Drury, weighed in at 6 lbs. 3 oz. at time of birth. "Both mother and baby are happy and healthy," adds the representative.

Chris Brown Tweets 'Graffiti' Cover Art and 'Crawl' Set Photos

A picture to be featured in the front cover of Chris Brown's new album "Graffiti" has been unleashed. Carrying futuristic theme, the artwork sees the R&B performer sporting all-black gear, holding an electric guitar on the right hand and a can of spray paint on the left.

In addition to the cover art, several on-set photos from "Crawl" music video have also been unveiled. Compiled into one-sheet picture, they show Chris in a trench coat, white T-shirt, fingerless gloves and glasses standing in a desert and alleyway. There is also a snap of him with Bad Boy's artist Cassie.
