Video: Rihanna to Tell All About Chris Brown's Assault on TV

Nearly a year after she was assaulted by then-boyfriend Chris Brown, Rihanna is set to make her first ever TV appearance on ABC later this week, during when she will tell all about the incident. The network has confirmed her scheduled appearance on its "Good Morning America" and "20/20" through a less than one minute promo video.

Rihanna will first appear in "Good Morning America" at 7 A.M. on Thursday, November 5. Then, the following day she will come to "20/20" at 10/9c. The songstress herself hasn't addressed the report just yet.

What songs will make it to Allison Iraheta's debut album "Just Like You" have been obtained via Walmart. Aside from already-outed single "Friday I'll Be Over You", it also has Kevin Rudolf-produced track "Beat Me Up" and a song called "You Don't Know Me" which she wrote with David Hodges.

Allison previously opened up to Entertainment Weekly on what "Beat Me Up" revolves around. "It's a pretty rad song. This chick likes being mistreated by her guy. A lot of girls out there, they like that! And it's kind of sad, but y'know, that's just the way she is. Not that I'm like that because I'd beat the hell out of whoever the hell mistreats me! I put myself in another girl's shoes, so it's a pretty cool song," she said.

Rights to 'Terminator' Franchise to Be Auctioned Off

The rights to the "Terminator" feature film franchise are up for grabs. The Financial Times reported that Halcyon, the production company behind "Terminator Salvation" will auction off the rights this November "in a deal that will test Hollywood intellectual property valuations at a time when film industry profits are under pressure from falling DVD sales."

Since "Terminator" is a rare example of a blockbuster film franchise not controlled by a big studio, the sale has reportedly drawn interest from every major studio as well as several financial buyers, which include Summit Entertainment, Media Rights Capital and Platinum Equity. Sony Pictures, who distributed "Salvation" around the world, is said to be the leading contender.

Toby Keith pays homage to his close friend Wayman Tisdale who passed away in May last year as captured in a music video for his single "Cryin' for Me (Wayman's Song)". His performance scene is mashed up with random footage of the late NBA star and jazz bassist.

"Cryin' for Me" is taken from Keith's latest studio installment "American Ride". The country music crooner planned to perform the song at Tisdale's funeral, but delivered Willie Nelson's "Angel Flying Too Close to the Ground" instead because he was too emotional to sing the tribute track.

First Female Captain of 'Law and Order: CI' Hired

"Law & Order: Criminal Intent" is refreshed with the arrival of a new captain in the ninth season. Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio, known for her recurring role as Anne Cassidy on "Without a Trace" will join the show as the successor of Captain Danny Ross who is leaving after three years in his position. There is no name of the character yet.

Shift in the captain position has been taking place since James Deakins headed the Major Case Squad division and was replaced by Ross in 2006. The casting of Mastrantonio marks the first time a woman is assigned as the captain.

With its U.S. limited release closing in by days, "Precious: Based on the Novel PUSH by Sapphire" has got a red carpet treatment in Los Angeles. The premiere, held on Sunday, November 1 at Grauman's Chinese Theater, was a part of the drama movie's participation at AFI Fest 2009, which runs from October 30 to November 7.

Many of the cast members were present for the special screening event. Leading actress Gabourey Sidibe was present along with several of her co-stars, including Mo'Nique who stars as Precious' mother Mary, Paula Patton who portrays Ms. Rain and Mariah Carey who takes on Mrs. Weiss.

In the wake of Stephen Gately's sudden death on October 10, his bandmates in Boyzone plan to record a tribute album for him. "We have decided that what we do now is we're going to make the next album for Stephen," Ronan Keating recently opened up.

"We want to stick together because we find comfort in being together at the moment," he continued. "We have a couple of songs with Stephen's vocal on it so that's a saving grace. Thank God we have that, that's very important to all of us and we know the fans would really appreciate that too."

'Sherlock Holmes': Extended Trailer to Air During 'Family Guy' Special

Warner Bros. is planning to present an extended trailer for the December-released "Sherlock Holmes" during "Family Guy Presents: Seth & Alex's Almost Live Comedy Show". The news about the trailer airing came up as this Guy Ritchie-directed adventure thriller stepped in to be the sole sponsor for the TV special, which is set for November 8 broadcast at 8:30 P.M., to replace Microsoft.

FOX made the announcement during the pre-show of Game 3 of the World Series on Saturday, October 31. It is still unclear whether the trailer will be weaved into the "Family Guy" special, but the network has mentioned in the Saturday promo that a sneak preview would run during the show, which could mean the trailer may be featured as a separate spot that runs before or after the special.

Spice Girls indeed will make an on-stage reunion. According to their manager Simon Fuller, the pop girl group will open 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London. Set to serve as the project's executive producer, Freeman will take on the role of the best man and wingman of an aging playboy and does everything he can to break up the playboy from the love of his life. THR further pointed out the likelihood of him re-teaming with "Bucket" co-star Jack Nicholson, though noting that the latter is yet to be attached.

'This Is It' Dances to the Top of Weekend Box Office

There is nowhere but atop the chart for the late Michael Jackson as his backstage documentary "This Is It" nabbed the #1 spot at the North American box office. Despite making a so-so start, the movie that compiled the late King of Pop's rehearsal footage did reign over the Halloween weekend with $23.2 million.

Since it was released on Wednesday, October 28, the Kenny Ortega-directed movie has produced $34.4 million in North America alone. Overseas, it garnered $69.5 million, including $10.4 million in Japan, $6.3 million in Germany, $5.8 million in France and $3.2 million in China. Both domestic and international numbers brought the movie to the total of $103.9 million worldwide.
