Nearly a year after she was assaulted by then-boyfriend Chris Brown, Rihanna is set to make her first ever TV appearance on ABC later this week, during when she will tell all about the incident. The network has confirmed her scheduled appearance on its "Good Morning America" and "20/20" through a less than one minute promo video.

Rihanna will first appear in "Good Morning America" at 7 A.M. on Thursday, November 5. Then, the following day she will come to "20/20" at 10/9c. The songstress herself hasn't addressed the report just yet.

What songs will make it to Allison Iraheta's debut album "Just Like You" have been obtained via Walmart. Aside from already-outed single "Friday I'll Be Over You", it also has Kevin Rudolf-produced track "Beat Me Up" and a song called "You Don't Know Me" which she wrote with David Hodges.

Allison previously opened up to Entertainment Weekly on what "Beat Me Up" revolves around. "It's a pretty rad song. This chick likes being mistreated by her guy. A lot of girls out there, they like that! And it's kind of sad, but y'know, that's just the way she is. Not that I'm like that because I'd beat the hell out of whoever the hell mistreats me! I put myself in another girl's shoes, so it's a pretty cool song," she said.

The rights to the "Terminator" feature film franchise are up for grabs. The Financial Times reported that Halcyon, the production company behind "Terminator Salvation" will auction off the rights this November "in a deal that will test Hollywood intellectual property valuations at a time when film industry profits are under pressure from falling DVD sales."

Since "Terminator" is a rare example of a blockbuster film franchise not controlled by a big studio, the sale has reportedly drawn interest from every major studio as well as several financial buyers, which include Summit Entertainment, Media Rights Capital and Platinum Equity. New report has just been brought forth by AI Now that Jason Castro is engaged to his girlfriend Mandy Mayhall. The "American Idol" finalist, who finished fourth at the singing competition's seventh season, proposed to Mandy just prior to the kick-off of the Oklahoma/Kansas State football game on Saturday, October 31 in Norman, OK, reports the site.

"Law & Order: Criminal Intent" is refreshed with the arrival of a new captain in the ninth season. Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio, known for her recurring role as Anne Cassidy on "Without a Trace" will join the show as the successor of Captain Danny Ross who is leaving after three years in his position. There is no name of the character yet.

Shift in the captain position has been taking place since James Deakins headed the Major Case Squad division and was replaced by Ross in 2006. The casting of Mastrantonio marks the first time a woman is assigned as the captain.

With its U.S. limited release closing in by days, "Precious: Based on the Novel PUSH by Sapphire" has got a red carpet treatment in Los Angeles. The premiere, held on Sunday, November 1 at Grauman's Chinese Theater, was a part of the drama movie's participation at AFI Fest 2009, which runs from October 30 to November 7.

Warner Bros. is planning to present an extended trailer for the December-released "Sherlock Holmes" during "Family Guy Presents: Seth & Alex's Almost Live Comedy Show". The news about the trailer airing came up as this Guy Ritchie-directed adventure thriller stepped in to be the sole sponsor for the TV special, which is set for November 8 broadcast at 8:30 P.M., to replace Microsoft.

FOX made the announcement during the pre-show of Game 3 of the World Series on Saturday, October 31. It is still unclear whether the trailer will be weaved into the "Family Guy" special, but the network has mentioned in the Saturday promo that a sneak preview would run during the show, which could mean the trailer may be featured as a separate spot that runs before or after the special.

After being made available for peek through on-set pictures, LeToya Luckett's music video for her new single "Regret" is now teased through behind-the-scene footage. "It's been an exciting day, full of drama, laughters and craziness but we have fun," she said.

More than 10 photos of Robert Pattinson for Vanity Fair magazine have been unveiled. Those shots are taken by photographer Bruce Weber and witness the "Twilight" leading actor displaying various facial expressions for the lens. The pics, according to the publication, are parts of the first of four slide shows that Bruce has with the British movie star.

Spice Girls indeed will make an on-stage reunion. According to their manager Simon Fuller, the pop girl group will open 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London. "They stand for so much in British music history and I can't think of a better time for them to get back together for another performance," Simon told The Mirror.

"The demand for them as a band is as strong as ever. They will not want to be performing hits like Wannabe in their 40s, but it's amazing how often people talk about another reunion," the creator of Idol franchise continued. "And I think if they do it, it's going to be in 2012."

Following the success of "The Bucket List" in 2007, Academy Award recipient Morgan Freeman is ready to plunge himself into another comedy movie for Warner Bros. Pictures. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 72-year-old is attached to star in an untitled comedy spec by Josh Cagan and Greg Coolidge which working title is "Dirty Old Men".

Set to serve as the project's executive producer, Freeman will take on the role of the best man and wingman of an aging playboy and does everything he can to break up the playboy from the love of his life. Director George A. Romero returns with another zombie movie called "Survival of the Dead", and Voltage Pictures has put together a red-band promo trailer for the horror flick. Two minutes in runtime, the sneak peek offers a look at the brutal and gruesome killings of the living dead by a group of survivors.

On a small island off North America's coast, the dead rise to menace the living. Although they are endangering their lives, the locals can't bring themselves to exterminate their loved ones and are determined to find the cure. When a rebel assassinates his neighbors and friends, they banish him from the island.

Kristen Stewart just can't stop complaining about her fame, which as she has said for several times intrudes her private life. A news surfacing by the hour, Gregory Itzin is making a return to "24" to reprise his role as former president Charles Logan. This means he survived the near-death experience in season 6 when his wife Martha stabbed him with a kitchen knife. He was last seen wheeled into the ER and flatlining on the way.

Passing the good news was Executive Producer Howard Gordon himself who told the press that Logan will be back for multi-episode arc. On Saturday, October 31, the comic book writer unraveled his plan through his website Millarworld.tv, writing "...this is one of several big surprises planned for next year and you'll hear a bit more about this in February when we start to release details."

News has been brewing all over the web that Mel Gibson and his girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva have welcomed their first child. Radar Online which brings forth exclusive report on the matter claims Oksana gave birth to a healthy baby girl on Friday, October 30.

Since it was released on Wednesday, October 28, the Kenny Ortega-directed movie has produced $34.4 million in North America alone. Overseas, it garnered $69.5 million, including $10.4 million in Japan, $6.3 million in Germany, $5.8 million in France and $3.2 million in China. Both domestic and international numbers brought the movie to the total of $103.9 million worldwide.

It's over between Adam Lambert and his interior designer boyfriend Drake LaBry. The pair's separation is mutual and they still remain friends, Us Weekly quotes a source as saying, adding that "they will still talk and see each other."

The source, furthermore, reveals "there's very little drama behind the split" and "it's all about timing" as Adam's singing career is sky-rocketing.
