It turns out that a report run by New York Post's gossip column Page Six last week that Leighton Meester and Sebastian Stan were engaged is completely false. Celebuzz claims the engagement story actually was a rumor from six months ago that was recently brought back to life by gossip blogger Perez Hilton.

On June 26, Perez claimed the "Gossip Girl" co-stars and real life lovers announced their engagement on social networking site Facebook.com by changing their relationship status to "engaged". In fact, several sources have told Celebuzz that neither Leighton nor Sebastian has a Facebook account.

Another trailer of "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" has been uncovered. Posted at MySpace, the new promo video is narrated by pivotal character Flint Lockwood himself. Explaining that he is an aspiring inventor, Flint chronicles on how he finally comes up with the machine that makes food falling from the skies, and how his invention turns to be a disaster.

Inspired by the children's book written by author Judi Barrett and illustrated by Ron Barrett, "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" is directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller. It features Bill Hader as the voice talent of Flint and Anna Faris as Sam Sparks, a weathergirl covering the phenomenon who hides her intelligence behind a perky exterior. James Caan, Andy Samberg, Bruce Campbell, Mr. T and Tracy Morgan also join the two in the voice cast ensemble.

Art imitates life, Paula Abdul is to play a judge on a new Lifetime original series "Drop Dead Diva". Abdul, who is serving as one of "American Idol" judges, will start filming her part next week and have her episode aired in September.

"I am very excited to guest star on Drop Dead Diva," Abdul stated. "All of the people are extremely talented and it's a charming, wonderfully written new show."

Casting is underway for the big screen adaptation of '80s TV series "The A-Team", and The Game's name has been thrown as one of the potential cast members. According to Black Film, the 29-year-old rapper who has received two Grammy nominations is among the leading candidates to take on the role of B.A. Baracus.

If he secures the part originated by Mr. T on the television show, it is plausible that he will share screen with other potential actors, Liam Neeson, who is rumored to star as John "Hannibal" Smith, and Bradley Cooper who is linked to Lt. Templeton "Faceman" Peck. The Game joins the list of actors speculated to fill B.A.'s shoes, including Common and Ice Cube.

New York-based forensic pathologist Dr. Michael Baden, who is hired by David Carradine's family to perform a private autopsy, has determined that the 72-year-old actor died of asphyxiation, which is described as a condition when someone is unable to breathe. Full determination of how David came to the condition will not be ready until at least a week.

"The cause of death was asphyxiation, an inability to breathe, now why that happened is still what we're working on," Dr. Michael confirms in a statement, adding that he rules out earlier assumption claiming David died of suicide attempt. "He didn't die of natural causes, and he didn't die of suicidal causes from the nature of the ligatures around the body, so that leaves some kind of accidental death," says Dr. Michael when stressing his theory that David did not commit suicide.

Kris Allen reveals that one of the five songs he will perform on Top Ten "American Idol" Summer Tour is The Beatles' 1968 track called "Hey Jude". He tells E! Online, "I'm doing some songs from the show. I can say one: 'Hey Jude' by The Beatles. It's gonna be huge. I do five songs."

The winner of Idol season eight furthermore explains that he will "go last" at the upcoming live concerts. He adds, "I have nothing to do until later, but I'm so weird I'll probably be watching from the wings anyway."

Piper Perabo is crossing the bridge to TV world by snapping up a lead role in USA Network's new spy thriller. Titled "Covert Affairs", the original series by the cable network will put Perabo in the position as a CIA trainee named Annie Walker.

In taking the role, the "Coyote Ugly" actress has to learn to speak 6 languages because her character has the ability to do so. Besides, Annie is a character that excels at anything she does. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Walker joins the CIA while still reeling over a mysterious ex-boyfriend who appears to be of particular interest to her new bosses. She vows never to let herself be hurt again, but that proves to be a tall order.

A year after director/scribe Paul W. S. Anderson said he is working on fourth "Resident Evil" movie, reports on possible release date are coming in for the fourth installment of the video game adaptation series. Shock Till You Drop (STYD) recently broke out that the studio eyes to release the movie in U.S. theaters by September 17, 2010.

STYD claimed the news came from a Sony insider suggesting that an internal memo of the matter has circulated through the studio's offices. In addition to the potential release date, the site reported that the fourth movie is likely to be called "Resident Evil: Afterlife". Screen Gems, Sony's subsidiary company which has produced the previous "Resident Evil" movies, is yet to give any official comment on the story.

Jessica Biel could star in "Thor". Nuke the Fridge reported that their sources have claimed the actress is in talks to join the cast of Marvel's upcoming superhero film. It was also mentioned that Biel could be recruited to portray Thor's love interest.

The sources were not sure about the name of the character potentially carried out by Biel, but they believe it is likely to be one of the female characters from the animated "Hulk vs Thor". If the rumor is true, Biel could end up playing either Sif or Amora. Sif is an Asgardian warrior to whom Thor is interested in, while The Enchantress Amora is described as a powerful sorceress who seeks to make Thor fall in love with her. No word just yet from Biel's camp regarding this rumor.

Holly Madison and illusionist Criss Angel are lovers for one more time. The pair who broke up earlier this year is claimed to have rekindled their love relationship.

According to Star Magazine, Holly began seeing Criss again ever since she moved to Sin City earlier this summer to replace Melanie Brown and Kelly Monaco as the new star of the famed "Peepshow" at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. Criss himself also performs at the same venue.

Drake has made public a music video for his single "Best I Ever Had". In this newly-premiered video, the rapper is seen playing coach to a female basketball team who is trounced 91-14 at the end of a game.

The video was filmed in Brooklyn, New York with Kanye West serving behind the lens. Trey Songz, Fabolous and several artists from Lil Wayne's label, Young Money Entertainment, are seen making cameos.

Relatively young contestants are gathered for the 11th edition of "Big Brother", with the oldest one being 41-year-old. Twelve strangers with different personalities will have to stand each other when they live under one roof for a number of days. A 13th mysterious guest will be added later to give an advantage to one of the cliques.

This time the House Guests will learn that they will be 'kickin it old school' way, high school to be exact. They will be shocked to learn that they will play the game in one of four familiar high school cliques - popular, athletes, brainiacs and off beats. They will compete for food, safety from eviction and luxury prizes as part of their clique.

New report has just surfaced by the hour that funeral for Michael Jackson is planned to be held next Tuesday, July 7 at Staples Center in Los Angeles. The Hollywood Reporter which breaks the news claims in a report on its site that the affair will be kicked off at 10 A.M.

And though there has been no official confirmation just yet from Michael's camp, sources say AEG Live, which owns the Staples Center and the adjacent Nokia Theatre, will use both facilities and the surrounding plaza for the memorial service. Greater than that, gigantic screens will be placed outside the location in order to enable fans who can't get inside the venue to follow the funeral. Details on how ticketing will be handled also haven't been disclosed.

With "The Twilight Saga's New Moon" falling into its post-production, little details about the upcoming sequel of "Twilight" start to unravel, and apparently actor Michael Welch has more to be shared. After bringing up into the open that the three-way date between Jacob and Bella and Mike will be seen in "New Moon", the 21-year-old reveals how the filmmakers bring Edward back despite the fact that he is largely absent in the novel.

"They figured out a very clever way to get Edward back in the film much more than he is in the book," he unveiled director Chris Weitz and screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg's plan to include the fleeing vampire in the movie. "It's more of, like, a hallucination kind of thing." Elaborating more, he said, "In the book, she just hears his voice. In the film, it's more of like a hallucination kind of thing. He will be [in the movie more than the book] for sure."

After being previewed through a bunch of on-set pictures, Mariah Carey's forthcoming music video for her new single "Obsessed" is now made available for sneak peek through its behind-the-scenes footage. The footage mainly sees Mariah dressing up as a man in a gray hoody and in a bellboy uniform.

Mariah filmed the video at New York City's Plaza Hotel over the weekend. In this video, she will play two characters, a female celebrity and a male stalker. The guy she portrays reportedly represents Eminem who recently mocked her in a song titled "Bagpipes From Baghdad".

The CW has given the first look into "One Tree Hill" season 7 through a promo for its new time schedule. In midseason, the drama occupied the Monday 9/8c slot with the lead in from "Gossip Girl". But this Fall, "Hill" will be the Monday starter at 8/7c.

The promo did not only give information on the new time, but also what kind of story will be brought up. With the official departures of Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton, the drama is focusing the spotlight to Brooke and Julian. In the promo, Brooke is heard uttering the "I love you". A recent scoop from E! Online suggested that Brooke and Julian indeed will "last" on the series, while Lucas and Peyton are goners.

Just days after proclaiming he is just friends with rumored girlfriend Jennifer Aniston, Bradley Cooper ignites new dating talks as he was spotted enjoying dinner date with actress Renee Zellweger on Tuesday, June 30. The twosome dined in a quiet corner at Italian restaurant Antonucci on New York City's Upper East Side and was said acting like a couple.

Bradley took Renee's "tea cup and smelled it and her face lit up," US Weekly reports. She was seen playing with her hair, twisting it around her finger, when he spoke. "She was grinning ear-to-ear and laughing really loud," says an onlooker. "Bradley kept moving closer to her and slouching in his seat. He was really relaxed. He seemed to be hanging on to Renee's every word. They were lost in their own little world."

"Kick-Ass" will premiere its footage at 2009 Comic Con. Slash Film has learned the superhero movie will have its panel for the festival on Thursday, July 23 toward the end of the day. Matthew Vaughn, director as well as writer of the movie project, will attend the festival to present the film's footage. Some of the film's cast members will also be in attendance, but the names will be announced later.

Along with the news of the movie's inclusion to the Comic Con line-up, a new photo from "Kick-Ass" has been released. It features Chloe Moretz who portrays Mindy Macready, an 11-year-old vigilante which is also known as Hit Girl.

Hot on the heels of a confirmation made by Michael Jackson's family that plans are underway for public memorial service for the late singer, new speculation has just emerged regarding the possible venue to hold a funeral. Per E! News, funeral will likely be held at the Hollywood Hills location of Forest Lawn Memorial Park and Mortuaries, where Michael's body currently is kept "in the freezer."

On Wednesday, July 1, a representative for Michael's family issued a public statement denying earlier reports that public and private memorial service for the King of Pop will be held later this week at Neverland Ranch estate in Santa Barbara, California. The representative confirmed, "Contrary to previous news reports, the Jackson family is officially stating that there will be no public or private viewing at Neverland. Plans are underway regarding a public memorial for Michael Jackson, and we will announce those plans shortly."

Blake Lewis eyes to bring out his sophomore set "Heartbreak on Vinyl" across United States on October 6 under Tommy Entertainment. Furthermore, the outcast of "American Idol" season six will release "Sad Song", the lead single from the album, in July.

In this project, Blake will record danceable materials with the help from acclaimed songwriters and producers, such as S*A*M & Sluggo (Fall Out Boy, Panic! at the Disco), Dave Aude (The Pussycat Dolls), Rodney Jerkins (Lady GaGa, Britney Spears), and Jean Baptiste (will.i.am, Black Eyed Peas). Post wrapping up his work on "Prison Break", Wentworth Miller jumps to the next project, a guest starring appearance on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit". TV Guide Magazine, which was first to report it, said that the actor will play an NYPD cop named Nate Kendal.

Nate saves a rape victim and only wants to interact with Det. Elliot Stabler and Olivia Benson. His cameo reportedly will be the first episode of the eleventh season which airs in a new night in the Fall season starting Wednesday, September 23 at 9/8c.

With "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" theatrical release fast approaching, two more clips from the adventure fantasy are made available for viewing pleasure. Instead of giving away the romantic scenes among Hogwarts students, both of the new clips highlight on the darker side and deal with the core of the much awaited film.

One of the clips comes from Moviefone. It focuses at the time Hermione and Ginny learn that the potion book belongs to a student named Half-Blood Prince. Meanwhile, the second one is debuted via MySpace and features Ginny jumping through fire and Harry running through a field during Death Eaters attack on the Burrow at Christmas.

A music video filmed by 50 Cent to promote his new single "Ok, You're Right" has been debuted. It shows stop motion scenes in which clown-masked thieves are arrested by police. The video continues capturing Fiddy, who has a clown mask on his forehead, rapping to the song. It then ends up with him exploding almost half of the city using a bomb he put somewhere in a hidden place.

"Ok, You're Right" is worked on by rapper/powerhouse producer Dr. Dre. Making its way out in mid May, the song will be listed in Fiddy's next installment entitled "Before I Self Destruct", which is slated for September release. Besides, the track also appears among new materials in his new mixtape "War Angel" which has been outed for digital download since June 16.

Soundtrack album for the currently airing "Hannah Montana" season 3 won't be made available in the U.S. market until next Tuesday, July 7, and in anticipation of the day, Miley Cyrus is inviting fans to join her in a live chat. Set to be kicked off at 7 P.M. EST on Sunday, July 5, the live chat will witness the 16-year-old actress/singer answering some questions submitted by fans through a live online stream on HannahChat.

Those who visit the site can vote for one or more questions that they would like Miley to answer. The people who survived from the brutal attack of John Wakefield on "Harper's Island" are featured in a new promo for the season finale. Elaine Cassidy (Abby), Christopher Gorham (Henry), C.J. Thomason (Jimmy), Matt Barr (Sully), Katie Cassidy (Trish) and Gina Holden (Shea) talk about how they prefer to die in the show.

Gorham says he would like to die "in pieces" while Thomason wants a simpler one, dead while fishing on his boat. Barr describes how "drowning" is the most frightening death he can imagine. Holden makes a reference to Chloe and Cal's deaths in the series, saying she prefers to die like them "in a poetic and peaceful" way.

In an interview with Elle Magazine, Avril Lavigne said her new album will be released sometime in November. She also revealed that a new song she penned for her Black Star perfume commercial might be included in the effort as one of its singles.

Avril Lavigne has, so far, dropped three studio albums. In 2002, she put out "Let Go" which peaked at number 2 on Billboard Hot 200. She then followed up the effort with another record titled "Under My Skin" in 2004 and three years later, she came up with "The Best Damn Thing".

A full length trailer of sci-fi animation "Planet 51" has been debuted via Yahoo! Movies. Presenting another take at the movie that offers a complete spin on the normal sci-fi tale, the two-minute promo video provides a look at the troubles Captain Charles "Chuck" Baker faces when he lands on Planet 51.

When making a touch down on Planet 51, American astronaut Chuck Baker thinks that he is the first person to step foot on the planet. But, he can't be more wrong about that. Much to his surprise, the planet is already inhabited by little green people who are happily living in a white picket fence world reminiscent of '50s America, but fear of being overrun by alien invaders like Chuck.

Earlier reports claiming public and private funerals for Michael Jackson have been set to be held at Neverland this week are denied by his family. In a statement released through their representative on Wednesday, July 1, the Jacksons confirmed, "Contrary to previous news reports, the Jackson family is officially stating that there will be no public or private viewing at Neverland. Plans are underway regarding a public memorial for Michael Jackson, and we will announce those plans shortly."

On Wednesday, July 1, reports were mounting that a public memorial service for the late music performer was set to be held at his Neverland Ranch estate in Santa Barbara, California this coming Friday, July 3. A private memorial service, additionally, was planned for Sunday, July 5. Due to the planned services, Michael's body reportedly would be transported from Los Angeles to Neverland via a 30-car motorcade. The motorcade was set to leave Los Angeles at 10 A.M. Thursday, July 2.

Eminem's music video for his new single "Beautiful" has been partially unveiled through a more than one minute clip. In one of the scenes, the rapper is seen singing the song at Detroit's Tiger Stadium, which is then captured being destroyed. The full-length video will be premiered on July 3.

Commenting on the video, Eminem previously said, "Tiger Stadium is being torn down, and the train station is supposed to be demolished too. This video is one of the last times anybody outside of Detroit is going to see them." He added, "I wrote 'Beautiful' when I was really down, during a difficult time struggling with my addiction."

It was reported by EW that Hilary Duff will be the new face on "Gossip Girl", but how far her arrival affects the Upper East Siders has just been unveiled. Duff's character, Olivia Burke, will be hooking up with one of the guys whom she thought is an opposite of her.

EW said that Olivia is a "movie star who enrolls at NYU in search of a traditional college experience." She will be the roommate of Vanessa, which means, she is a student majoring in Drama. However, she brings more than just a connection to Vanessa.

An update report regarding start of production has arrived for "The Twilight Saga's Eclipse". Through its Twitter page, Production Weekly (PW) has informed that the third movie of the "Twilight" series will kick off its principal photography on August 17 at Vancouver Film Studios in Vancouver, British Columbia.

PW also adds that the shooting for the second-to-last vampire drama movie will last until October 31, which is just a few weeks away before its predecessor, "The Twilight Saga's New Moon", invades U.S. theaters on November 20. Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and the rest of the "Twilight" cast are expected to join the production as it begins.

Kevin Jonas, the oldest member of popular pop music trio Jonas Brothers, is engaged to Danielle Deleasa, his girlfriend of two years. Both of them have confirmed the news and so have his parents, Paul Kevin Jonas, Sr. and Denise.

Per People, which is first to report the engagement, Kevin proposed to Danielle at her doorstep in New Jersey on Wednesday morning, July 1, soon after arriving in the city on an overnight flight from a concert in Vancouver. He presented her with a cushion-cut diamond ring that he designed with Jacob & Co.
