Bill Nighy Confirms Involvement in 'Deathly Hallows'

Bill Nighy has been cast in "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows". According to a report in The Independent, the 59-year-old actor has recently spoken up about him joining the production of the adaptation of the last "Harry Potter" series. "I don't think I'm allowed to say it but I'm going to be in the next Harry Potter film," he said as quoted by the trades.

While giving out the confirmation of him joining the cast, Nighy won't disclose what character he is touted for. "I won't say which character, but he's a goodie," he shared. "I just got the gig." Words are, the "Love Actually" actor has been set to portray Rufus Scrimgeour, a veteran Auror in the Ministry of Magic who spends most of his time fighting Dark Wizards.

Michael Jackson Reportedly Will Be Buried in Muslim Traditions

A source close to the Jacksons has exclusively revealed to X17 Online that family will likely have a traditional Muslim burial for late Michael Jackson. "The family is considering following the Muslim burial traditions because they believe Michael would have wanted to be laid to rest in keeping with his new-found religious beliefs," says the source.

"Michael's brother Jermaine is educating the family as to the special rites because he feels it's important to bury his brother according to the Muslim way," adds the source. Despite earlier reports that both public and private memorial services for the late music performer have been set to be held this week, there has been no official confirmation just yet from Michael's family on the location where his body will be laid to rest.

Nick Fury Won't Perform Action in 'Iron Man 2'

Fans will not see Nick Fury in action when "Iron Man 2" hits the theaters. Met during an event commemorating the 20th anniversary of Spike Lee's film "Do The Right Thing", Samuel L. Jackson, who has portrayed the S.H.I.E.L.D. chief in "Iron Man", told MTV News that Fury won't be seen kicking ass in the sequel.

"Not this time, not yet," the 60-year-old explained. "We still haven't moved Nick Fury into the bad-ass zone. He's still just kind of a talker." During the interview, Samuel also revealed that he has done filming his part for the project. He further added that most of his scenes were shot with Robert Downey Jr., although there were still several scenes in which he appears with Scarlett Johansson.

Miley Cyrus' 'Just a Girl' Music Video From 'Hannah Montana' Concert

After a music video for "Mixed Up" arrived, now a music video in companion to another "Hannah Montana" soundtrack, "Just a Girl", has been found. It shows similar scenes featured on the "Mixed Up" video. While the previously-premiered video has Miley Cyrus wearing a white and purple dress, this new one sees her donning a pink and white top combined with white pants. Both videos capture Miley as Hannah Montana performing in a live concert.

Miley Cyrus has released her latest studio album "Breakout" in 2008. While there is still no word on her new effort, Miley has hit studio, crafting soundtracks for her Disney's TV series. In this project, she joins forces with David Archuleta, Corbin Bleu and Mitchel Musso in addition to having solo songs.

'Couples Retreat' Gets Hilarious Trailer

Universal Pictures has debuted the first trailer for "Couples Retreat" on Apple. More than two-minute long, the promotional video for the comedy movie introduces the four main couples, Vince Vaughn and Malin Akerman, Faizon Love and Kali Hawk, Jason Bateman and Kristen Bell, as well as Jon Favreau and Kristin Davis.

The trailer helps to explain how things are going between each of the couples before dropping the bomb that one of them is going through a rough patch. In order to work on their problem, the troubled couple chooses to go to a lush tropical getaway and brings along their couples friends to get a special group price. What the others do not know is that their group-rate vacation comes at a price.

Taylor Swift Feels Insecure About Her Eyes

Body insecurity is one of the personal topics that Taylor Swift addressed during a recent interview with Glamour Magazine for its August 2009 issue, to which she admitted "I get insecure about my eyes." Revealing the reason, she explained, "... because I once read a blog comment that said, 'Her eyes are so small.' I thought, Are my eyes small? Oh no - they are!"

Asked if she does read blog comments despite the fact that many celebrities claim to avoid them, Taylor opened up, "I've stopped reading the comments below news articles and on gossip blogs because those are the ones that'll ruin your day in a second." She was quick to add, "But I read my MySpace comments because they're awesome. You just have to be careful and filter the information you give yourself. Do you want to open the slam book today? Nope."

Joe's Music Video for 'Majic' Comes Out

Joe has just brought out a music video to promote his new single entitled "Majic". In this video, the R&B singer is seen surrounded by bikini-wearing ladies. At some point, he is captured lying on the bed with the beautiful women all over his body.

"Majic" is one of the ballad songs appearing in Joe's forthcoming studio album "Signature" which is due to arrive in U.S. on July 14. Serving as the lead single from the effort, the track is written, produced and arranged by Joe himself.

2009 San Diego Comic Con: List of Guests and Schedule for TV

With three weeks left until 2009 San Diego Comic Con is kicked off, the number of guests attending the international event is growing. Most of these guests are the lead actors, the creator(s) or the executive producer(s) who will give support to their respective show during the panels.

FOX was the one who came up with its list first, confirming the participation of Eliza Dushku and creator Josh Whedon in support of "Dollhouse". But newly announced are the guests for Sci-Fi series like "Warehouse 13", "Stargate Universe" and "Sanctuary". Expected to represent these three series are Eddie McClintock, Robert Carlyle and Amanda Tapping respectively.

will.i.am recently opened up that he and Michael Jackson have cooked up materials for the late singer's new album. "It was going to be out of this world. It's something Michael has never done before - a dance music album. I was very proud of it," he told Daily Mirror.

"He was very protective and kept it under lock and key," the Black Eyed Peas' member explained further. "After we made it I had to hand back every demo. He was a perfectionist and didn't want anyone to hear it until it was ready."

Trailer for Matt Damon-Starring 'The Informant!' Arrives

The first trailer of "The Informant!" has just been released. Coming out via Apple, the trailer takes a look at the dark comedy thriller dubbed to be "based on true story" and presents Matt Damon as Mark Whitacre, a rising star at agri-industry giant Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) who suddenly turns whistleblower.

Envisioning himself to be hailed as a hero of the common man and handed a promotion, Whitacre exposes his company's multi-national price-fixing conspiracy to the FBI. But, before he can claim the status he needs to provide the agency with evidences. So, he agrees to wear a wire and carry a hidden tape recorder in his briefcase. Unfortunately, his struggle with bipolar disorder frustrates the federal agents and threatens the case against ADM.

It is still unclear whether the new track is recorded for his new album or it is crafted for another project. But, prior to the announcement of the song's arrival, Bow Wow shared, "Listenin to songs off da my new gangsta grilzz mixtape 'The Green Light'."

Preparations for Michael Jackson's Public Viewing Underway

An exclusive report has been brought forth by X17 Online that preparations for the public viewing of Michael Jackson's body have been done at his Neverland Ranch estate in Santa Barbara, California. One of the site's photographers claims, "There were at least thirty workers preparing the grounds for the big event."

The photographer goes on revealing, "There were landscapers outside, people coming in and out, cleaning and preparing the house. And there was a police cruiser on the property, monitoring the perimeter." Besides, "All the carnival rides have been removed. The grass was finally being watered. The place was bustling with activity but it was definitely coming together - this old, dead property is coming alive again," X17 Online quotes the photographer as adding.

Ramon Rodriguez May Have Bigger Role in 'Transformers 3'

Ramon Rodriguez has just joined the "Transformers" franchise in the second movie "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen", but he has made quite an impression to director Michael Bay. Speaking to Los Angeles Times few weeks before the sequel was released, Michael hinted that there could be a 'meatier' role for the new cast member should "Transformers 3" will be made.

While Michael didn't really give a clear hint on the matter, he did speak nothing but praises for the Puerto Rican actor. "We went looking for a sidekick in this movie, Shia [LaBeouf]'s sidekick, and we find this new kid who really pops on screen," he explained. "I think he's going to have a real bright career. It's great to work with big stars, but it's always fun to discover people."

A Dave Meyers-directed music video in support of Britney Spears' single called "Radar" has just made its way out. Starting with a capture of a luxurious mansion, the video continues showing Britney arriving at the large house and watching hunky ranch men playing a polo game. In one of the scenes, she is shown hooking up with one of the ranch guys.

"Radar" was included in Britney's 2007 effort "Blackout". The track produced by Bloodshy & Avant and The Clutch then re-appeared in her 2008 studio album "Circus".

Robert Pattinson's aunt, Diana Nutley, has expressed her hope that the British hunk won't date his "Twilight" on-screen lover Kristen Stewart. "I don't think it would be a good idea for Robert to be in a serious relationship with Kristen. How can he live his life with a fellow star, with their every move being watched just like Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes?" Diana tells Life and Style.

Furthermore, Diana also hopes his famous nephew will someday get back to his native England and marry an English girl. "He's only 23 and probably won't get married until he's 40, if he's got any sense. I think he will eventually come back home to England and fall in love with somebody he's known since school," Life and Style quotes Diana as saying.

Michael Jackson's Death Takes Impact on 'American Idol' Audition

In the wake of Michael Jackson's death, fans of him turned up for "American Idol" audition at Los Angeles' Rose Bowl. Associated Press said that the deceased singer became the main drive for many to participate in the singing competition's ninth season.

Around 11,000 hopefuls showed up on Tuesday, June 30 for a chance to be the next Idol. The crowd number is particularly the largest ever for a Los Angeles-area tryout. One contestant named Estrella Nouri told the reporter how Michael's death affected her, saying "I'm gonna start crying but the fact that he died, he took a part of history with him. And now it's up to us to bring that back."

In the wake of attorney John Branca's claim that he possesses the most current will of late singer Michael Jackson, details of the particular will have been uncovered. A person with knowledge of the document revealed that the draft was signed on July 7, 2002.

Jackson, as stated in the will, named music executive and family friend John McClain and Branca as executors of his estate. Additionally, the late music superstar left all his assets to the Michael Jackson Family Trust and named his mother Katherine Jackson as guardian of his three children; Prince Michael Jackson Jr., Prince Michael Jackson II, and Paris Michael Katherine Jackson.

Jay-Z Confirms Signing Roc Nation Deal With Sony

Around a month after being rumored hitting negotiation room with Sony Music Entertainment, Jay-Z finally confirms he indeed has inked a deal with the giant recording company. "Sony is Roc Nation. That's where Roc Nation's going through," the rapper told Billboard.

When asked about a distribution deal he recently secured for his upcoming studio album "Blueprint 3" with Atlantic Records, Jay-Z clarifies that it is just a one-off deal. "That's pretty much just for this specific album. Roc Nation -- we're experts in marketing and making records. But we do distribution deals," he explained. "On this one, we're working directly with the Atlantic staff, which is Julie [Greenwald], Lyor [Cohen], Kevin [Liles] and Kyse [Mike Kyser]. For the rest of the Roc Nation artists, we did a distribution deal with Sony."

'Alvin and the Chipmunks 2' Welcomes New Teaser Trailer

Another teaser trailer for "Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakuel" has been put forth. Thirty seconds longer than the previous teaser, the brand new sneak peek comes from MTV and presents for the first time a look at the female counterparts of the harmony singing brothers, the Chipettes which consists of Eleanor, Brittany, and Jeanette.

This promo video reportedly is shown in theaters attached to another 20th Century Fox's animation, "Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs". It is kicked off to a similar opening seen in the first teaser wherein the boys harmonizing the anthem of their producing studio, before moving on to show how the boys meet the girls at school. Though so, the new promo video still doesn't give any clue on the plot.

'Nip/Tuck' Returns Earlier on FX Network

Three of FX Network's original series have received a premiere schedule, and the biggest surprise comes from "Nip/Tuck". The series about L.A. plastic surgeons will be back in October this year instead of the previously indicated 2010 slate. However, the sixth season is still split into two parts with the second one, which is also the final season, expected to air next year. The penultimate season consists of 10 episodes but FX has not landed any date for them.

FX, nevertheless, has more specific dates for "Sons of Anarchy" and "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia". The former will commence the second season on September 8 and will air regularly on Tuesdays at 10/9c. The latter, meanwhile, arrives for a fifth season on Thursday, September 17 and later takes the regular slot at 10/9c.

A music video for Michael Jackson tribute song "Better on the Other Side", which is performed by P. Diddy, Chris Brown and The Game, has made its way out. It mostly captures the musicians in studio during a recording session for the track. It also shows random footage showing people paying tribute to Michael by moonwalking on the street and gathering in an open place with flowers in their hands.

Beside Diddy, Brown and Game, other singers lending their vocal to the tribute song are Usher, Mario Winans and Boyz II Men. They debuted the track on June 26, one day after Michael passed away, on Los Angeles radio station Power 106.

Country music singer Josh Turner and his wife Jennifer Ford Turner have welcomed the arrival of their second child, a baby boy, last week. A representative for Josh confirms the news to People, detailing the infant was born on Friday, June 26 and is named Colby Lynch Turner. Colby joins the pair's eldest son, Hampton Otis Turner, who was born in October 2006.

"I'm just a proud daddy right now," Josh says in a statement. "Hampton loves being a big brother, and we're just one big happy family," he adds of how Hampton reacts to his new role as a brother.

Robert Pattinson is once again spotted in New York City for the filming of his new feature project, "Remember Me" and this time, he is not alone. On Tuesday morning, June 30, the star of "Twilight" was captured at N.Y.C.'s Central Park, shooting for the romantic drama movie with co-star, Emilie de Ravin.

Beside taking principal photography with the "Lost" beauty, Pattinson also has a fliming session with a child actress who apparently plays his little sister on screen. He was seen walking along his bicycle next to the young actress who hopped on the park's bench. Earlier that day, the actor who plays Tyler Roth in the movie, was also seen lounging on the Alice in Wonderland statues in the park.

Susan Boyle NOT Making Appearance on 'Ugly Betty'

The news which claimed that Susan Boyle was beckoned to make a cameo on "Ugly Betty" has been denied. A representative from ABC confirmed that the singer will not make an appearance on the comedy series to both US Magazine and Entertainment Weekly.

Susan, the 48-year-old singing sensation from Scotland, reportedly received a lot of offers from TV execs in U.S. last month. The Sun said that she has been offered a part on "Ugly" to play herself. Public and Private Funerals Set for Michael Jackson

A public memorial service for the late Michael Jackson has been set to be held at his Neverland Ranch estate in Santa Barbara, California this coming Friday, July 3. At that time, fans and friends are allowed to view the King of Pop's body and also pay their final respects to him.

The Santa Barbara Sheriff's Department has confirmed that plans are underway to hold a memorial service at the famous estate. "Our guys are meeting as we speak with the California Highway Patrol to discuss the security issues," says Lt. Butch Arnoldi, a department spokesman. "Our role will primarily be traffic, but also crowd control. We will also be making sure there is no trespassing on neighboring ranches and stuff like that. We would be stationed on the perimeter of the house. The actual roadway will be the responsibility of the CHP."

'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince' Debuts Extended Clip

An extended clip from "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" has been unleashed in anticipation of the adventure fantasy's theatrical release which is around two weeks away. Clocking in at 2:17, the snippet is put out via iTunes and opens with an introduction from the "Harry Potter" trio, Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson.

The clip which starts at the 00:13 mark exposes first the scene wherein Professor Dumbledore gives Harry a warning about the danger of the cave and his rules that Harry has to follow. After Harry utters his promise, Dumbledore takes the boy wizard to the cave. Upon entering the cave, Dumbledore cuts his palm to pay the price of entrance.

The CW's Promo of 'Vampire Diaries': Love Sucks

A new promo of "The Vampire Diaries" is released by The CW, titled "Love Sucks". Containing metaphorical terms related to vampires, the clip is narrated by the main character, Elena, describing what 'love' means to her. Two male hands, which may as well be Damon and Stefan's, help to provide the tone of 'safe', 'hurts' and 'out of control'.

The new series which is adapted from the novels by L.J. Smith, is part of The CW's Fall line-up. It will premiere on September 10, being the lead-in to "Supernatural". The official synopsis from the network is given below.

Michael Jackson Tribute Concert Likely to Be Held, Promoter Says

Promoter may turn Michael Jackson's just-canceled comeback concerts in London into a tribute show. Hinting the possibility of the tribute gig is AEG Live President Randy Phillips during an interview with Britain's Sky News.

"At some point the world needs to see this production," Phillips said. "And I would imagine it could be done as a tribute with the family, with the brothers performing, some sisters, and the stars that were influenced by him."

The private funeral for late actress Farrah Fawcett has been held at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in Los Angeles on Tuesday, June 30. Her longtime partner Ryan O'Neal and their son, Redmond James O'Neal, were seen among the pall-bearers and gave a reading at the service.

Seen attending the funeral among others were Farrah's ex-husband Lee Majors, with whom she recently reconnected after being estranged for years, and former "Charlie's Angels" co-stars, Kate Jackson, Jaclyn Smith and Cheryl Ladd. Farrah's best friend Alana Stewart, actor Ernie Hudson, as well as model Cheryl Tiegs were also in attendance.
