Fresh Photos From Johnny Depp-Starring 'Public Enemies'

A series of new photos from "Public Enemies" has been uncovered via Beyond Hollywood. While most of the newly-found pictures display Christian Bale's Melvin Purvis, two of the stills take their focus on exposing Marion Cotillard's Billie Frechette and giving out another take on Johnny Depp's John Dillinger.

"Public Enemies" revolves around legendary Depression-era outlaw John Dillinger and FBI agent Melvin Purvis. In the time when the Great Depression storms America and Dillinger and his gang are unstoppable, J. Edgar Hoover is trying to elevate his Bureau of Investigation into the national police force that became the FBI. Declaring that Dillinger America's first Public Enemy Number One, he sends Purvis in the thrill ride to capture the charismatic bank robber.

The case takes an unexpected turn once she learns more about the woman's current husband, Joel. Meanwhile, Bridgette is sent to the principal's office for drawing nude pictures of her art teacher.

Elle MacPherson is dating multi-millionaire British businessman Damian Aspinall, the Sunday Mirror reported on Sunday, January 25. The dating rumors began to spark after the alleged lovers were seen acting like a couple while they were leaving a play, titled "Complicit", taking place at London's Old Vic Theatre recently.

The newspaper, furthermore, claimed MacPherson and Aspinall have been spotted holding hands and cuddling throughout the entire performance. It even cited an onlooker as confirming, the two "were all over each other as soon as they arrived at the theatre. It was like watching a pair of teenagers." The onlooker also added, "They're both incredibly eye-catching. She's 6ft and gorgeous and he's 6ft 3in and strapping. You couldn't fail to notice them. It was obvious they're very much in love."

In "Carnal Knowledge", Serena spots Dan in a bar with Rachel. After Chuck wakes up in a hotel and only has a minor recollection of what happened the previous evening and who he spent the evening with, Nate and Vanessa try to help him fill in the missing pieces of what is turning out to be an increasingly intriguing mystery.

Production Shut Down Rumor of 'Astro Boy' Straightened

Though earlier rumors suggested that "Astro Boy" has been shut down because of cash flow problems, the CG animated movie is still on the course to be released on the planned date. Addressing the issue to IO9, Imagi U.S. president Erin Corbett claimed that the studio's priority is to make sure that the feature film adaptation of the Japanese anime will see the big screens.

Though admitting that the production has to be halted temporarily, she further noted that studio has planned to resume production as soon as the new round of financing comes in on February 3. "Our number one objective is to get back on the rails," Corbett insisted when talking about the future of the David Bowers-directed animation. "We want to do everything to get Astro Boy out the door."

My Chemical Romance's New Single 'Desolation Row'

My Chemical Romance's cover version of Bob Dylan's 1965 song called "Desolation Row" has arrived. The track was exclusively recorded for the soundtrack of forthcoming blockbuster movie "Watchmen", which stars Malin Akerman, Billy Crudup and Jeffrey Dean Morgan among others.

In regard of the band's contribution to the film's soundtrack, frontman Gerard Way says "there have been other offers to do this kind of thing, and usually the timing always made it impossible." Then he adds, "But when the chance came to do a cover of one of my favorite artists, Bob Dylan, for a film version of my favorite work of fiction of all time we had to jump at the chance."

Nominations for the 20th GLAAD Media Awards Announced

The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) have announced their selections for the 20th Annual GLAAD Media Awards, Tuesday, January 27. Among the nominees were the 81st Academy Awards' contenders, Gus Van Sant's biopic "Milk" and Woody Allen's drama comedy "Vicky Cristina Barcelona".

The two movies were recognized under the category of Outstanding Film for Wide Release. They will go head-to-head with Julian Jarrold's provocative drama "Brideshead Revisited", Guy Ritchie's crime thriller "RocknRolla" and Peter Sollett's romantic-teen-comedy "Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist".

The representative says further, "As a token of their commitment to each other Fabrizio presented Geri with an engagement ring over the festive season." The exact date on when the engagement took place hasn't been disclosed and "there are no immediate plans for marriage as the couple are enjoying their engagement," the representative adds.

Robert Pattinson Opens Up About Feeling Home Sick

Speaking of his current residence, Pattinson says he stays in Los Angeles, but has not yet decided to permanently settle in the city. "I haven't moved to L.A. for good. I live in a rented apartment where all of the furniture is rented," he openly admits.

The episode will be called "Generalissimo", a term which is a reference to a character in a Mexican telenovela that Elisa's grandmother watches. Jack wonders why his new lover's grandma doesn't like him and finds out that he bears a resemblance to the telenovela's villain. This is sneak peeked in the other clip.

A brand new single entitled "Prom Queen", which is performed by Lil Wayne, has hit the web despite previous announcement claiming January 27 as its official release date. The track comes from the production hands of duo Infamous and Drew Correa. It will be appearing in the rapper's album "REBIRTH".

There hasn't been any word on what other songs will be included in Lil Wayne's upcoming album, which will carry rock sounds and is confirmed to arrive in U.S. market on April 7. Words are, it may feature a material written by Aubrey Drake Graham a.k.a Drake as the Canadian actor/rapper has revealed to "have a song on there."

The promotional video opens with descriptions over several epidemics that have hit civilizations throughout the century from the 1347's Black Death to the latest, the Avian Flu. It then continues by showing the devastating result of the latest plague and how four friends are making their way out from the infected area to survive.

Telling the story when a deadly virus has spread across the globe, "Carriers" follows four people as they try to make their way to secluded utopian beach in the Gulf of Mexico in order to survive the apocalyptic disease. Traveling through the back roads of the American West, their retreat plans take a grim turn as they set off a chain of events, leading them to a deadly battle against infected children, homicidal doctors, crazed survivalists, rabid dogs, and each other.

Janet Jackson's Japanese Tour Put on Hold

Japanese concert promoter Kyodo Yokohama revealed that Janet Jackson has pulled out her several tour dates in Japan. "It's unfortunate but the world's economy does not allow Janet to make a trip at this time," her manager, Kenneth Crear, opened up about what is behind the show cancellation.

The tour will be re-scheduled later this year. Makeup dates are expected to be announced in late March, Yokohama said as quoted by The Canadian Press.

Steven Spielberg's motion-capture 3-D feature, "The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn", has finally moved forward. Paramount Pictures and Sony Pictures Entertainment have announced that the first of possible three "Tintin" installments has begun its principal photography in Los Angeles on Monday, January 26.

Along with the start of production announcement, it was also revealed that Jamie Bell and Daniel Craig have joined the star-studded voice cast ensemble. Having worked together in the Edward Zwick-directed war movie "Defiance", the two will be co-stars once again as Bell is set to voice the titular character, young reporter Tintin, and Craig will lend his voice to evil pirate Red Rackham.

'Public Service', Title to Amy Poehler's New Comedy

Finally, the untitled Amy Poehler's project is given a working title. "Public Service", the new sitcom coming from the creators of "The Office" and "Saturday Night Live", will premiere April 9 at 8.30/7.30c on NBC.

The show was supposed to be effective after Super Bowl XLIII on February 1 but Poehler got pregnant and delivered her baby in October last year, which require her to adjust. In the show which is also starring Aziz Ansari and Rashida Jones of "The Office", Poehler will be a mid-level government official named Leslie Knope.

"Ugly Betty" may not be the highest-rating primetime for ABC but it is not one that was thought to be benched. After a report from EW that the network have tried to replace the show's timeslot with an episode of "Samantha Who?", Michael Jensen of After Elton wrote that a spokesperson from ABC said they have big faith in the show.

"We are going to be premiering In the Motherhoood paired with new episodes of Samantha Who? starting March 26th, but Ugly Betty will be back in that timeslot," the spokesperson said. "ABC has complete confidence in Ugly Betty and the hiatus is no way meant to reflect a loss in faith for the show which remains large part of ABC's identity."

'The Dark Knight' Producer Hints at Next Batman Film's Possible Release Date

"The Dark Knight" sequel could be gearing up for 2011 release. The estimation of the next Batman movie's release has allegedly been offered by Michael Uslan, the executive producer of "The Dark Knight", in an interview with New Jersey's Courier-Post.

Of the matter, Courier-Post wrote, "Uslan will be onboard as executive producer for the 'Dark Knight' sequel, which he estimates will be theaters by 2011." Though sharing a hint on the possible release date, the 57-year-old remained mum on which supervillains and love interests to be featured in the sequel, stating "It's one of those deals where if I told you, I'd have to kill you."

A music video promoting a new track "Falling Away" from Jupiter Rising has made its debut. Directed by Andrew Gura, it features a man walking along the street and finding two photos, each of which pictures the band's members Jessie Payo and Spencer Nezey.

The guy picks up both of the pictures and then dances to the beats of "Falling Away". Running into a girl friend, he shows the pics to her. Since he refuses to give the pictures to her, the girl chases him. The scene ends up with both of them dancing together.

"The Amazing Race" aims it big in their fourteenth edition that will premiere Sunday, February 15 at 8/7c on CBS. The 11 teams competing for the $1 million prize were put in the "most grueling" courses in the show's history, including surviving the freezing temperature of Siberia and jumping for the world's second tallest bungee jump.

"Heading into our 14th season, I wanted to pull out all the stops. 'Underworld: Rise of the Lycans' Settled for Second Slot at Box Office

Vampire horror movie "Underworld: Rise of the Lycans" should be satisfied with a second place position at the North American box office. Though grossing $20.8 million on its opening weekend, the Patrick Tatopoulos-directed film was still unable to steal the top position from "Paul Blart: Mall Cop".

"Rise of the Lycans" actually started the weekend strong. On Friday, January 23, it led the box office with $7.9 million in its pocket and overshadowed the $5.6 million bow of "Paul Blart". As the weekend ended, it was then unveiled that the "Underworld" prequel has become the weakest of the "Underworld" franchise as "Underworld: Evolution" opened to $26.9 million and "Underworld" brought in $21.8 million in its first weekend.

It has been announced on January 26 that T.I. will be joining forces with Justin Timberlake at this year's Grammy Awards. Beside collaborating with Justin, T.I. is also set to team up with Jay-Z, Lil Wayne and Kanye West, singing his hit single "Swagga Like Us".
