Singer Brad Paisley is rushing to release his brand new album "Play". His upcoming album will carry eleven instrumental tracks and four songs that feature vocals.

The singer will sign Keith Urban in a single entitled "Start a Band". Beside Keith, Brad will also collaborate with B.B. King in single called "Let the Good Tomes Roll".

A music video for The Coral's single "Being Somebody Else" has been released. The single which is a newly-written material is set to be released in early September. Meanwhile, the full album called "The Singles Collection" will be scheduled to drop on September 15.

The video for the single is set in a narrow scene of old-schooled television. Portions of the video display the band playing the tunes together. Some others display them in their good times, such as when they ride bikes on the road.

Giving a sneak peek chance to see bits of the animated stop-motion fantasy film by "The Nightmare Before Christmas 3-D" director Henry Selick, IGN Movies got their hands on a brand new behind-the-scenes featurette from "Coraline". The video is filled with clips from the film, the miniature of the characters and comments from the voice cast, director and author Neil Gaiman.

Based on Gaiman's international best-selling book of the same name, "Coraline" follows a young girl who crosses to an alternate world through a secret door in her new home. On the surface, the seemingly similar world looks much better than her real life, but soon she finds out that she and her parents are in so much trouble as her counterfeit parents try to keep her forever in this parallel world. Having to save herself and her parents, Coraline must now come out with a way back to home.

Kanye West apparently is still spawning singles from his 2007 album "Graduation" with the sixth and the latest being "Champion". The song that captures his distant relationship with his father has been accompanied with a music video that was premiered on his official blog on Tuesday, August 12.

The video is directed by Neon, featuring West in a Muppet form, participating in Unified Games, a sports event very much similar to the Olympic Games. His Muppet who wears his signature glasses represents U.S.A. in the 100 m sprint field but he had to face a trial first on his eligibility to participate in the games due to his 'difference'.

Early this week American actress-singer Demi Lovato has shown up in ABC studio to perform live at Good Morning America. The singer has performed first single "Get Back" to promote her debut album "Don't Forget" in the show. Before that, she has been rocking Madison Square Garden with Jonas Brothers as an opening act.

Beside performing at live shows, Demi has also been doing media promotion rounds for her upcoming album. In addition, she is scheduled to perform with teen peers Miley Cyrus and the Jonas boys in mid-November for "Concert for Hope" in Universal City's Gibson Amphitheater. She will also continue singing along with the band as opening act on their currently underway Burning Up Tour. When "The Spirit" panel hits the 2008 San Diego Comic Con in late July, director/screenwriter Frank Miller brought forward a batch of footages letting fans to get sneak peek into the film. Now, one of the videos shown there entitled "When Titans Clash" has leaked out.

The clip highlights on the brawl between the hero, the Spirit, and his archenemy, Octopus, in what seems to be a swamp. It takes off when Gabriel Macht's heroic character surfacing out of the swamp's water, but before he can fully emerge from the water, Octopus hit him again and again with a severed head. Then, Spirit takes a wrench and smack Octopus. The fight scene is pretty much hilarious with the two trying to knock down the other with any means they find.

They have once lived together in peace with the Lycans being the daytime guardians of the vampire and the aristocratic vampires being the ruler of the night. But, when King Viktor's daughter is pregnant with her Lycan lover, he orders for her being executed. Enraged with the merciless ruler's decision, Lucian, the lover, rises to be the powerful leader of the Lycans and plots to avenge the death of the love of his life and his unborn son.

Providing a look into the raging war between the vampire and the lycans, a trailer of "Underworld: Rise of the Lycans" has leaked out. Through the bootleg trailer, viewers can see how Lucian rallies other werewolves to fight off the vampire. It also displays the bloody battle between the two feuding races.

Singer-songwriter Daniel Powter has recently dropped his music video for single "Next Plane Home" taken from his upcoming album "Under the Radar", which has no fixed release date yet. The video is shot in an open air of hot Lancaster England.

As it is taken in the open field, the video gives a view of blue sky with the singer singing the song in a gray suit. Sometimes, an airplane is displayed, flying around him high on the sky to make various shapes, such as smiling face from its smoke.

His lawsuit against her is still ongoing, but Ranae Shrider has proven to Verne Troyer that nothing could stop her from doing what she wants. The model is claimed to have sold her sex tape with the so-called "Mini Me" actor to a private collector for $5,000.

Shrider claims she sold the footage to a random man who approached her outside her house. "He just said, 'Here's some money,'" Shrider's manager, Holly Bannon, told the Los Angeles Times. "She just wanted to be rid of it, so she said OK." Bannon moreover said that the transaction was a simple "cash deal" and no legal paperwork was involved, adding that she assumed the buyer has given her client a false name.

Country Music Association Awards is coming the 42nd round this year and the nominees will be read out at an event held on September 10 in New York and Nashville. Taking the honor to announce the final contenders are Rascal Flatts, Taylor Swift, Lady Antebellum and James Otto. The first two will take over the NY leg while the remaining two are responsible for the announcement in Nashville.

Having the commercial for his latest fragrance "Unforgivable" being banned from airing in U.S. TV, apparently, couldn't prevent P. Diddy from making more new scents. The rapper, actor, record producer, clothing designer and entrepreneur is about to launch a new fragrance for men, which he calls "I Am King."

Explaining on the scent's name, Diddy said during an interview at his Bad Boy Entertainment offices in Manhattan, "I Am King is a statement about all men." He furthermore revealed, "We are all descendants of royalty - and if we carry ourselves and respect ourselves in that manner and believe in ourselves, then we are all king ... It has nothing to do with being arrogant. I Am King is not a statement about myself - I Am King is about every man who is going to go and buy the fragrance."

Amidst the controversy circulating around it, the upcoming comedy movie "Tropic Thunder" held a special screening event on Monday, August 11, evening at the Mann's Village theatre in Westwood, California. Although it was highlighted by the picketing of the advocacy groups for the disabled, the L.A. premiere was still flocked with celebrities.

Coming in to join the celebration were some of the movie's stars, Ben Stiller, Jack Black, Robert Downey Jr., Matthew McConaughey, Bill Hader and Nick Nolte. Those who made special appearances in the film, including Tom Cruise, Maria Menounos, Alicia Silverstone and Jon Voight, were also seen posing on the red carpet.

This year, American rapper Usher will team up with country music singer Keith Urban in a giant celebration called "NFL Opening Kickoff 2008" which is Presented by Electronic Arts (EA) Sports. They will perform NFL's theme song titled "Believe in Now" at the Kickoff concert event from New York City's Columbus Circle on Thursday, September 4.

Portions of the the show will be aired live on NFL Network, NFL.com, and also available via NFL Mobile Live only from mobile network Sprint. Meanwhile, the following day NBC will air its highlights as part of the one-hour of program called "NFL/NBC Fall Preview".

Providing a follow up to the report stating that Nightmare on Elm producer Brad Fuller wants a new Freddy Krueger for the remake, latest news concerning the casting of the iconic kids killer proposed that Billy Bob Thornton is being considered to take the part. This speculation allegedly has been sparked by Krueger's original depicter himself, Robert Englund.

Talking to a late night radio show Loveline in promotion of his horror comedy "Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer", the 61-year-old confessed that he has heard talks about the possibility of Thornton to slip on the red and black-stripped sweater for the role. Despite Englund's remark on the subject, Thornton's possible involvement should still be considered as a rumor, especially since no word is coming out from Platinum Dunes.

Living under the media microscope due to her alleged affair with New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez, Madonna reportedly has received a $500,000 charity donation from the star to benefit her Raising Malawi foundation. This reluctantly fuels further rumors on them having an affair.

The New York Daily News is informed by a source, "They've asked him for a million dollars, and I hear he's agreed to give at least $500,000." Neither Rodriguez's representative nor Raising Malawi would confirm on the reported donation.

Rock act hailing from Canada, Jet Black Stare, have released a music video for a high-octane track called "Ready to Roll". The song is a single from their debut album "In This Life" that was released on July 15 and an official single for 2008 WWE SummerSlam as well as EA's "Nascar '09".

Apt to its having-fun mood, the video features classic cars, beautiful women, and big screen ready special effects. The hard-rocking song, with crunchy guitars, creates the perfect soundtrack to a high-speed game of "chicken" and an ending that's well worth the wait.

Horror comedy flick "Jennifer's Body", has created such a buzz earlier this year when reports insisted that its star Megan Fox is going to strip down for a scene in the movie which then hypened up by the surfacing of the topless photos from the scene. Nevertheless, the excitement over the matter has been put off recently with words indicating that the racy scene has been cut off.

In an early review for the Fox Atomic's film, Joblo noted that a reviewer has seen the movie and he claimed that though the movie looks great, the topless scene of the "Transformers" hottie is nowhere to be seen. World teen idol Miley Cyrus is reported to join Coldplay on some shows during their current world tour. The teen singer has recently revealed her huge admiration for the British band frontman Chris Martin. The Daily Express quoted her, as saying, "My ideal man is a 16-year-old Chris Martin. But my mom says I have terrible taste!"

As Miley's statement goes spreading to the media, Chris reveals that the admiration is mutual and they actually admire each other. "I like Miley. She seems to have a sweet character, anyone we like or respect, no matter how different they may be, we would play with," Chris says in a statement.

Another day, another brand new report of arrest emerges. Sean Paul is the latest public figure who has a run-in with the law. The Jamaican singer was arrested on drug charges during the Uppsala Reggae Festival in Sweden over the weekend.

Paul was taken into custody Friday, August 8 on suspicion of possessing narcotics, TMZ reports. The site furthermore claims that there were 200 to 300 other people brought in from the fest on drug-related charges. Ten artists who were tapped to perform on the show were also taken downtown for questioning.

The Gabe Dixon Band, fronted by Gabe Dixon who played keyboards and sang backing vocals on nearly every track of Paul McCartney's 2001 "Driving Rain" album, have marked their territory of being musicians in the same league as Elton John. The three-piece act have recently finished their recording of a self-titled album that is due August 26.

Not getting what she wants has upset Tori Spelling that she decided to pull out of the CW's "Beverly Hills 90210" spin-off. Talks are heating up that her withdrawal from the series is prompted by the fact that she's not getting the equal payment with that of co-stars Shannen Doherty and Jennie Garth.

Several sources confirm that Tori pulls out of the series because she receives less payment than her fellow co-stars. Word on the block is that Jennie and Shannen were signed for around $40,000 to $50,000 per episode, whereas Tori only got $10,000 to $20,000 per episode. After finding out about the difference in pay, Tori then demanded a paycheck equal to both actresses.

Australian singer Kylie Minogue has finally released a music video for single "The One" taken from her 2007 album "X". The video has officially been premiered on Kylie's official website early this week.

The video which is directed by Kylie's longtime collaborator William Baker, starts with display of a person in a silhouette. As the video goes by, slowly the scene changes from dark with black background to a brighter scene with a bit of pink background. The clear scene then reveals the silhouetted person as Kylie. Alan Panettiere, the father of television actress Hayden Panettiere, was arrested early Monday morning, August 11 on suspicion of spousal abuse. The 49-year-old Panettiere is accused of hitting his wife, former soap opera actress Lesley Panettiere, 52, following a heated argument.

On Sunday evening, August 10 both Alan and Leslie attended a Hollywood charity benefit for the Whaleman Foundation hosted by their daughter at Eva Longoria's Beso restaurant in Hollywood. It was during the event that an onlooker claimed to have seen the parents argued. A partygoer testified, "When they were both about to leave, they had a heated argument outside the restaurant. 2008 MTV Video Music Awards commercial tapes in which pop singer Britney Spears and a British comedian Russell Brand team up finally come out. They are shot sitting on a black couch inside a huge building with a high roof.
