Nicole Richie's Family Portraits with Baby Harlow for Harper's Bazaar

Gave birth to daughter Harlow Winter Kate Madden, her first child with boyfriend Joel Madden, on January 11, 2008 it was not until the following month that Nicole Richie introduced the world to her newborn infant, debuting the baby on the cover of People magazine. It's been months now that the socialite exposes Harlow for one more time, this time for the June 2008 issue of Harper's Bazaar.

In a new photo spread for Harper's Bazaar, Nicole Richie gets the whole gang; Joel, Harlow and her singer father Lionel Richie, together for a few family portraits. One of the several pics sees Nicole holding Harlow on her hands, while another snap sees Joel holding Harlow on his right hand with his left hand holding Nicole's and placing it on his lips.

Frank Miller to Leap from 'The Spirit' to 'Buck Rogers'

Though Frank Miller has yet to preview his directorial debut film "The Spirit", he has been reported to be attached to another feature film project. The iconic comic book creator that has partially stepped into director role through noir film "Sin City" allegedly was touted to be the helmer of "Buck Rogers".

The report of the involvement of the "300" writer was broken out firstly by IGN. Still, Miller's participation on the Philip Francis Nowlan's newspapers strip holds an empty air since Nu Image Films, the production company which bought the film's screening right, stated that they are still pondering through several possible helmers.

Usher's 'Trading Places' Audio Leaked

"Trading Places", a new song from Usher's upcoming album "Here I Stand" has been leaked on the net. It could be the next single to be released from the new album after the first single "Love In The Club" and second single "Moving Mountains".

His first single which also features Young Jeezy was a hit as it managed to peak at #1 on the Billboard 100 chart. A remix version of that song has also been released on April 28 through radio stations. Unlike the original version which features Jeezy on the remix he taps Beyonce Knowles and Lil Wayne. In other news, Usher has shot the music video for his second single "Moving Mountains" earlier this month.

A Slew of 'G.I. Joe' Stills Expose First Looks

When it is announced that "G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra", the Hasbro's famous American heroes toy characters, has been picked up to be made into a live action film, many question how the characters will look like in reality. On Thursday, May 8, Paramount Pictures have finally given the fans a first real look into some important figures of G.I. Joe team as well as their nemesis, Cobra team.

The nine new photos unveiled six Joes and three Cobras. The Joe team pictured in the stills are Breaker portrayed by Said Taghmaoui, Duke by Channing Tatum, General Hawk by Dennis Quaid, Heavy Duty by Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Ripcord by Marlon Wayans and Snake Eyes by Ray Park, whereas the Cobras include The Baroness played by Sienna Miller, Destro by Christopher Eccleston and Storm Shadows by Lee Byung-Hun. The Duke character can be seen above while the rest are posted below.

The new music video for Yung Berg's new single has just been premiered today (May 9). The clip was made to accompany the song titled "Show Off & That's Right".

The song itself, which also features K Smith, is set to be one of the songs to be included on his upcoming album "Look What You Made Me" which will be released this summer. Other tracks that Yung has already confirmed to be featured on the new album are "Sexy Can I" and "Do That There".

Katherine Heigl Wants Out from 'Grey's Anatomy', Ready to Move On

Katherine Heigl is biting the hands that feed her. The actress, according to various news media, is considering leaving the hit TV series "Grey's Anatomy" that has catapulted her to stardom to fully concentrate on her film career.

Heigl reportedly is disillusioned with the long working hours on the ABC medical drama. "She's working really long hours and is ready to move on. She's a smart one," a source close to her revealed. "She saw what can happen with someone like Jennifer Aniston, who was crazy successful on TV, but can't seem to carry a film, and she tested the waters early."

Coldplay Announced 'Viva La Vida' Tour Dates

Shortly after promoting their upcoming album "Viva la Vida or Death and all His Friends" by giving free download of their new song "Violet Hill" to fans, Coldplay are set to go on a tour for further promo. The English band have confirmed some of the tour dates which plan to kick off on June 29 in Philadelphia and go on until 2009.

Until now it is only the North American dates that have been revealed, while the schedule for the Europe tour hasn't been confirmed yet. The band planned to do at least 50 shows in North America before stopping by in Europe and U.K. Beside that the band are also set to headline the Summer Sonic festival in Japan on August 9-10.

In an effort to keep the expecting movie lovers and die hard fans' excitement sky-high on the forthcoming 22nd installment of James Bond movie, "Quantum of Solace" has provided those with a special viral feature. The embeddable widget has been developed by Sony Pictures and is put online on "Quantum" official site.

The device works as a tool for embedders to get automatic updates of "Solace" weekly blog for the next 5-6 months until the action film is being released on line on November 7. It is also fitted with other related Bond's content such as videos, photos and links that give out exclusive glimpses of the highly anticipated action drama film. The widget can be viewed below.

Minnie Driver's Baby's Daddy Is English, to Come Out in Time

Has been very secretive about the identity of the man who has impregnated her, Minnie Driver finally broke her silence, shared a few details about the father of the baby she's carrying. Quashed previous rumors that claimed musician Craig Zolezzi as her baby's daddy, Driver told U.K. Independent newspaper on Thursday, May 8, "Craig's not the dad!" insisted that "He's my great friend, and he's been so cool about it."

Wouldn't reveal the father's identity, Driver only hinted the man is English and "sort of in the same business ... he's really busy, like me." On her keeping mum about the identity of the man, the actress explained "I want to shield the baby's dad as much as I can because it wasn't his choice to get roped into all this stuff."

Submission Deadline of MTV's Spoof Contest Extended

For those who are thinking of running on time in joining the "2008 MTV Movie Spoof Contest", there is a great news coming on their way. To give more chance for aspiring filmmakers and amateur comedians to join the contest held by MTV and Mark Burnett Productions for the upcoming 2008 MTV Movie Awards, the music network have extended the contest's submission deadline.

Contrary to the initial schedule stating that entrants have to submit their short parody videos before 11:59 P.M. ET on May 11, the contestants are now given time until 11:59 P.M. ET on May 18, 2008 to post their spoof footages. To make tings even better, one of MTV's partner sites for the contest, Daily Motion, has provided longer submission time until 11:59:59 EDT on May 19 adding that each eligible Motion entrant will obtain two free movie ticket vouchers.

Metallica Joins The Offspring to Rock 'Winnie Roast y Fiesta'

Super group Metallica has been named as of the performers to play at the 2008 "Winnie Roast y Fiesta" on May 17. The heavy metal band will be joined by the likes of The Offspring, Bad Religion, Pennywise and Rise Against to headline the event.

The gig which is staged and sponsored by Los Angeles local radio station KROQ will be held at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Irvine, Calif. The event has been started since 1993 and from then until now famous musicians have always headlined the show. Last year Linkin Park, Korn, Incubus, Queens of the Stone Age were among the performers.

Heath Ledger's 'Heath' Wins Australia's Archibald Prize

Despite his sudden and shocking death, still Heath Ledger is remembered as a prominent figure in entertainment industry, especially in movie business. Almost four months after his death, the late actor is having his portrait, dubbed "Heath", being chosen as people's favorite at this year's Australia's Archibald Prize Exhibition, which involved 32,000 people voting.

"Heath", which was one of the many portraits participated in the contest, was created by Heath's friend, Australian artist Vincent Fantauzzo, at the late actor's family's Perth home in December 2007. The portrait features three versions of Heath; one haunted-looking rendition in the center of the canvas flanked by two whispering figures on either side.

Producer Comments on Broadside's Part in 'Transformers 2'

Back in June 2007, director Michael Bay excited "Transformers" fans as he revealed that he has an idea of bringing Broadside to the action blockbuster's sequel but noting that it is way too expensive for a feature film. Since then, the question whether or not Broadside will be included in the movie or not lingers on. However, recently producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura shut down any hope on the possibility.

Addressing the casting rumors that have been circulating around "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" to MTV News, di Bonaventura denied the chance of Broadside to appear in the film saying, "A transforming aircraft carrier? We saw a Japanese film that had something like that, so maybe that's where that comes from." He further explained that he and Bay had never even talked about the idea, but admitting that they were impressed on the Japanese animated version of the Autobot's affiliate.

Following Leona on second place is Lil Wayne's "Lollipop" that holds its last week's position. Jordin Sparks featuring Chris Brown's "No Air" also keeps its spot on #3, while Usher's "Love In This Club" feat. Young Jeezy climbed one step to #4 from its previous 5th position. Debunking Matthew Vaughn Off 'Thor' Rumor

Last Monday on May 5, Marvel Entertainment have come out with a great news stating that "Thor" will fall into theaters on June 4, 2010. However, the following news on the adaptation movie presents fans a contradictory report on the attachment of "Stardust" director Matthew Vaughn.

Many have reported that the British filmmaker is no longer attached to this particular Marvel's feature film project putting the report's ground on The Hollywood Reporter's article that reasoned the detachment on the December expiration date of Vaughn's deal with the studio. However, on the rebuttal of the speculation, some sites have mentioned that on March 2008 when talking to Empire Online about the action fantasy film, the producer of "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" didn't hint that he might be out of the project. At the time, he said, "We're in a holding pattern at the moment. It's up to Marvel, they have to decide if they want to make the movie and then we take it from there."

"Iron Man" has gone up to be listed among the historical movies of all time with its blasting opening week. Its sequel has been confirmed days following the tally. However, before fans could put high hopes on "Iron Man 2", the excitement has been toned down with the news stating that director Jon Favreau has not to be signed for the follow-up movie and now report also suggests that the returning of its star Robert Downey Jr. is yet a done deal.

The speculation on the uncertainty of Downey Jr.'s signing broke out following the reluctance of Marvel Studio executives in confirming the actor's involvement on the sequel during first-quarter financial results conference call on Wednesday, May 7. It is further rumored that the studio have to offer the "Zodiac" star with a more lucrative deal to secure his participation in the sequel. To add more fuel to the rumor, in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the 43-year-old refuses to justify his contract stating, "I really don't know. What I'm on board for right now is the ride home. I don't want to start talking out of my league, because that would have certainly been my inclination in the past. I kind of know how to keep my teeth together a little better than I used to."

Having a movie role as a musician has made a new career choice for actor Joaquin Phoenix as he now plans to make an album. Billboard.com said that the actor could release an album working with one of the members of Charlatans Tim Burgess.

Burgess revealed that after playing the role of legendary musician Johnny Cash in the 2005 movie "Walk The Line", Joaquin, who got himself to learn how to play guitar on the movie, found a passion to make music. "Once he learnt guitar he found that he had quite a lot of demons inside himself that he wanted to expel through music," Burgess said.

First Seven Minutes of 'Speed Racer' Made Its Way to the Net

Counting down to the opening hours of "Speed Racer" in the theaters across the country, the Warner Bros. Pictures have brought a prime treat to moviegoers everywhere as they premiered the first seven minutes of the film on the interweb. The footage gives out background story to what happen to Speed in his younger age and lets out cool sneak peak to the dazzling race he is confronting.

Opened with colorful kaleidoscopic during the presenting of the production company logos, the video moves on with a shot of Speed sitting on the changing room with his back on camera. As the shot goes on to focus on him jiggling his right foot, the scene cuts to his younger year when he is stuck in his classroom having to work on an exam. There, it can be seen that while other students are busy doing their best on answering the questions, Speed falls into his imagination where he is racing other imaginary racers.

Sad news comes from Liv Tyler as rumors on the street of her separation from husband Royston Langdon have just been confirmed. A representative for the actress confirmed the couple's separation in a statement released to People, saying "Liv Tyler and Royston Langdon have confirmed their separation."
