It looks like Hellboy's fans do not have to wait until July to see the big red superhero grazing the big screen as the latest Guillermo del Toro's feature film "Hellboy II: The Golden Army" is set to be viewed at the 2008 Los Angeles Film Festival. What makes it even sweeter is that the movie gets the honor to close the event held from June 19 to 29, 2008.

Serving as the closing night film, "Hellboy II" will be previewed on June 28 at the Mann Village Theatre in Westwood. As this highly anticipated film closes the festival, another Universal Pictures' movie, "Wanted (2008)" has been chosen to kick off the event. The Angelina Jolie-starrer action movie will be screened on June 19 at the same place.

A new comedy movie from the 20th Century Fox, "The Rocker", has debuted its first trailer on the net. Taking more than two minutes of showing time, the compilation of clips brings comedy lovers a first look into the rocker wannabe movie starring "The Office" star Rainn Wilson and "Anchorman" beauty Christina Applegate.

Opened with a dinner table conversation of Robert "Fish" Fishman's family, the trailer offers muany comedic scenes and at the same time gives out the story to the film. The earlier footage let out the background story when Fish being kicked out from his band which latter became extremely famous and his hilarious efforts to demand explanation from his bandmates. Then, as the trailer, which can be seen below, develops, it can be seen Fish's overrated act when he tries once again to live up his dream through his nephew's band.

Rapper The Game recently has revealed some details about his upcoming album "L.A.X." and also about his new single "Pain". Game shared his story to MTV news while he was shooting the music video for his latest single.

About his upcoming album, to be released on July 8, the rapper said that the third album will be his step forward on becoming a hip-hop legend. "It's my third album," Game said to MTV. "I dropped the first album, classic. Came back with 'Doctor's Advocate', classic. Its number three on my road to being a hip-hop legend. All my favorite rappers are legends, and I want nothing more than to be considered among the top, elite MCs."

After recently releasing their new clip "Lolli Lolli (Pop That Body)" to public, Three 6 Mafia's video appeared again on the net. This time it's not about a new song but it was the video of their cameo appearance on the tapping of CBS's television series "Numb3rs" which will be aired on May 9.

Not just appearing as a guest star, on the episode that will revolve around the murder of a rapper, the rap group are also performing on the episode. It can be seen from the footage below that was leaked on the net.

"Amnesia", a brand new music video from all girl group Cherish has been premiered on BET on Tuesday, May 6. The video is for the R 'n' B group's second single that is lifted from their soon-to-be-released sophomore effort, "The Truth".

The video was directed by Benny Boom who is also famous to have shot many music videos for R 'n' B artists like Mya, R. Kelly and The Pussycat Dolls. It is a black and white clip that was shot back in April, showing the former teenage girls in more matured looks.

Having just wrapped up the production of Frank Miller's "The Spirit", Eva Mendes, the co-star of Will Smith in dramedy "Hitch" has set her eyes on another feature film project. The 34-year-old Cuban-American actress is set to topline drama thriller for Warner Independent Pictures entitled "Queen of the South".

Taking the role of the main character, Mendes is going to portray a Mexican woman who becomes a Spanish drug lord to avenge the death of her boyfriend. For the movie, she will be teaming up with fellow actors, Josh Hartnett and Ben Kingsley, as well as with helmer Jonathan Jakubowicz.

Is a musician of various genre ranging from pop to rock, Prince is adding debut author to his career resume. The recording artist, as stated by Atria Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, has been working on a book called "21 Nights," a multi-media volume based on his 21 consecutive sold-out concerts at London's O2 arena in the summer of 2007.

"21 Nights," which is slated to be released in September, is said to feature poetry by Prince, 124 never-before-seen photographs by Hollywood's Randee St. Nicholas who was given backstage access during the concerts, and a live sessions CD titled "Indigo Nights" from the concerts after-parties with new music by Prince. Per Atria, the book's jacket will be printed with a black and silver duotone paper-over-board and will be "elegantly sealed in a purple slip case with foil stamping and then shrink-wrapped for protection."

It looks like fans of rock legend Queen will be flooding the Nelson Mandela's 90th birthday concert after it has been confirmed that the band will be playing there. The rock band are set to perform at the event that will be staged at the Hyde Park in London on June 27.

Along with the rock band, other famous musicians are also set to light up the crowd. The likes of Leona Lewis, cAnnie and Sugarbabes are just a few among other names that have been confirmed to perform on the event. Meanwhile, the show organizers still plan to add more stars for the event. One of the names rumored to be added for the concert is Amy Winehouse, who reportedly was asked by Mandela himself to appear at the concert.

As the first summer blockbuster movie "Iron Man" has brought back life to the box office by delivering a smashing $102 million in its opening week, the talk of its sequel has gone further from being a plan to becoming a realization and days earlier, Marvel Entertainment have announced that "Iron Man 2" has been set for April 30, 2010 release. Hence, it seems that every detail has been fixed, but director Jon Favreau doesn't think so as he revealed that he has yet to be signed for the sequel.

Talking to Entertainment Weekly about the follow-up film about the superhero suited in advance bulletproof armor suit, the 41-year-old filmmaker confessed that his return to the sequel isn't a definite term. "We've been speaking informally about it, and in concept we would all love to work together again," the "Zathura" helmer explained.

Having enough break from work due to her motherhood experience, Christina Aguilera is getting serious on her new album project. Christina told the press that she plans to drop the album this fall.

Moreover, the singer also added more details about the upcoming album saying that she will be working with a lot of people and claiming that it will be different from her previous album "Back to Basic". "This record is going to be very different from my previous record 'Back To Basics,'" Christina explained. "I'm working with a lot of different people so it's a little hard for me to really go for a specific theme this time around, but I can assure you that it's going to be a very very interesting record." Christina also added that she was feeling a bit nervous but also excited about his upcoming album. She said that the feeling occurred because the new album will have a different sound than any music that has been released. "Am I nervous? Of course but I'm also very excited. I never like to play it safe so it's always a little risky to release a record that doesn't sound like everything else out there," said Christina.

Bye bye Nicole Kidman. Famous fashion house Chanel has on Monday, May 5 confirmed that they are swapping out the Aussie movie beauty for Audrey Tautou as the face of their iconic No. 5 perfume. Tautou, best known for her title character in the award-winning film "Amelie", will debut in a commercial directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet.

The collaboration is the third for Tautou and Jean-Pierre as they have previously worked together in the films "Amelie" and "A Very Long Engagement." Tautou's Chanel No. 5 perfume commercial will be debuted on TV next year.

Though some offer doubt in the speculation of the coming back of Hollywood star Tom Cruise to the fourth installment of "Mission: Impossible" franchise, the action movie fans could put their hopes high. Recent report on the rumor suggests that there is a big fat chance of Cruise reprising his role in the Paramount Pictures' action series.

Denying the rumor about the lesser possibility of him reprising the role of Ethan Hunt due to his 2006 feud with Paramount topper Sumner Redstone, the studio's CEO has confessed to reporters in Seoul on Tuesday, May 6, that the split won't affect any decision for the film. "If Paramount decides - and they will make the decision - to move ahead with him, I will not object," so claimed Redstone who further noted that the decision falls in the hands of Paramount chairman Brad Grey.

Third time maybe is the charm for Charlie Sheen. Giving third marriage a go, the actor has been planning to wed his fiancee Brooke Muller on May 30 later this year. In Touch Weekly was the first to bring the wedding date to public's notice.

Although not releasing or working in a new solo album since "Press Play" in 2006, P.Diddy still set himself up for tour. The rapper won't be staging his own tour, but will only make an appearance for his artists' concerts.

Diddy confirms that he will join both of the musicians he has produced, DAY26 and Danity Kane on their upcoming tour. All of the events from the tour including the performances and back stage footages will be shot and featured on Diddy's music program "Making The Band"'s new season.

After a full length album in 2007, The Spill Canvas are back this year with an EP entitled "Honestly, I'm Doing Okay [EP]". The alternative rock band will make the effort available exclusively via Amazon on May 13.

"Honestly, I'm Doing Okay" consists of five tracks where one of them is an unreleased B-side called "Lay It On Me". Two tracks "All Over You" and "Saved" have appeared on their 2007 album "No Really, I'm Fine" and are presented in acoustic versions in the EP. They also include in the set, their cover of Fleetwood Mac's "Gold Dust Woman".

Going against media claims, Jennifer Lopez said she's not doing any reality show. The mother of twins has put to rest previous reports that she and her singer husband Marc Anthony have signed on for a new reality TV show with cable channel TLC.

"You heard it here first. There is no reality show at all. We would not have camera's in our house," Lopez told Access Hollywood at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute Gala on Monday night, May 5. "It's just not our thing. That might be fine for other people, but not for us."

Frank Miller's fans do not have to wait any longer to see the latest project from the creator of "Sin City" on the big screen as latest report concerning "The Spirit" has come out with a great news. The action adventure film adapted from Will Eisner's newspaper strip of the same title will be heading to theaters across the country faster than its original plan.

On Tuesday, May 6, it was announced that the release date of the movie directed and scripted by Miller has been moved up from January 16, 2009 to December 25, 2008 by Lions Gate Films. With the new screening schedule, the film will now be up against Walt Disney Pictures' adventure comedy "Bedtime Story", which is starred by Adam Sandler and Keri Russell, and Fox 2000 Pictures' comedy "Marley & Me" featuring Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston.

After years working on the Hollywood movie industry, it was not until Monday, May 5 though that Tom Cruise launched his own website. Following a number of online advertisements promoting the launch of his official website, the actor finally launched the black-and-white TomCruise.com which actually is meant to mark his silver anniversary as a movie star.

Legendary super group The Police have announced an important detail regarding their upcoming and probably last concert. The band revealed at press conference on May 6, that they will hold their "Last Concert Ever" in New York without confirming the date yet.

Beside still keeping quiet about the date, the venue and tickets information are also being kept a secret by the band. But there's a hint from N.Y.C's mayor Michael Bloomberg that the concert could be held indoor. "The venue will probably be indoors, but that's all I'm going to say," said Michael.

The new music video for R 'n' B singer Raheem DeVaughn has just been premiered on May 6. The clip was made to accompany the singer's latest single "Try Again".

Rapper Yung Joc seems to be ready for making another step on his musical career by starting his own record label. The new label is called Swagg Team Entertainment and it will be under the management of Jive Records.

Joc has even prepared to debut his new artist through his label, which will be Hotstylz. The rapper found the group after he received their song "Lookin' Boy" from DJ Hershey, who downloaded it from the Internet. Joc will release the new version and a music video for the song on May 12.

Lindsay Lohan's third studio album starts materializing with the release of a new song. A snippet under two minutes entitled "Bossy" was leaked on the net and reports said that it will appear in the album as possibly the first single.

"Bossy" is an uptempo track where Lohan croons "I'm just a little bossy/ I like it when I want it". Lohan's label has been retracting the audio from file sharing websites but some have been spreading like wildfire. There has been no information yet on who produce the song but it is known that the short snippet is only a demo version.

After the audio from Rihanna and Maroon 5's collaboration on the band's remake single "If I Never See Your Face Again" was leaked on the Internet, now a sneak peak for the video can be seen as well. The teaser video sees behind the scene footages of the video shoot.

The clip itself was shot in Los Angeles in late April and directed by Anthony Mandler. Meanwhile, as for the single, it is planned to be included in both artists' upcoming repackaged albums, Rihanna's "Good Girl Gone Bad" and Maroon's "It won't Be Soon Before Long". The band's re-release album hasn't had its release date but the R 'n' B singer has already set June 17 for its re-release.

A Columbia University student, identified as Masha Markova, reportedly wants a $10,000 payment from Lindsay Lohan for stealing her pricey fur coat for three weeks. According to a New York Post report, Masha is suggesting that she wore the coat, which her grandmother has given her, to Stavros Niarchos' private January 26 birthday party at 1Oak. There she got along with Lindsay and by the time she was about to go home she learned the coat was gone.

Thought her coat was gone for good after she couldn't find it at the end of the night, Masha was left in shock as she "flipped through" the February 11 edition of OK! magazine and spotted a shot of Lindsay wearing her coat. "I was actually talking on the phone to my grandmother about something else, and then I flipped through the magazine, saw the picture said, 'I need to call you back,'" Masha tells the Post. "It was my coat. It was no doubt!"

Continuing its annual celebration of honoring best films and Hollywood's talents, MTV is gearing up for 17th MTV Movie Awards by announcing the list of nominees up for the golden popcorn statuettes on Tuesday, May 6. Among those nominated for the special event, Judd Apatow's comedy "Superbad" and Jason Reitman's acclaimed dramedy "Juno" show off their dominations by collecting 5 and 4 nods respectively.

Though mostly the two movies garnered gongs in different categories, they would have to battle it up for the supreme prize, Best Movie award. In the particular category, they also will be facing stiff competitions from four other blockbuster nominees, "Transformers", "Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End", "I Am Legend" and "National Treasure: Book of Secrets".
