The drama concerning Heath Ledger's secret love child continues to a far more interesting level as the woman in question has given an extraordinary interview to a Western Australian newspaper. It is unfortunate though that she declined to answer direct questions about whether Heath was the father of her 11-year-old daughter.

Refused to have her daughter having a DNA test, the unnamed woman insisted, "I'm not answering anything. I think it's very, very rude that I'm being posed all of this. I really do. I can't talk about anything." She, furthermore, said that all she cared about was her daughter's welfare.

Rihanna has shot a music video for "Take a Bow", a track which is prepared as a new joint in the re-release of her 2007 album "Good Girl Gone Bad". JustJared that acquired the on-set pictures, reported that it was taken on Wednesday, April 2 in Venice, California.

Hot on the heels of Jamie Lynn Spears' hometown wedding talks, rumors are abuzz that the younger Spears has asked sister Britney Spears to be her bridesmaid. Jamie Lynn is reported to be planning to wed fiance Casey Aldridge in her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana. She's expected to stay true to her small-town roots by tying the knot at Britney's "Serenity" estate.

The young actress Hayden Panettiere reportedly turns from being an indestructible cheerleader to become a wolf. According to Hollywood Reporter, the star of "Racing Stripes" has been tapped to give a voice to one of the lead lupine characters in the animated family adventure film "Alpha and Omega".

In the CG animated feature film, the 18-year-old animal right activist will be lending her voice to a captured Alpha-bred wolf. The actress will be working with other stars, including Justin Long who is voicing the other lead character Omega, Christina Ricci, Danny Glover and Dennis Hopper.

It has been announced that Tokio Hotel will release their album "Scream" in U.S. on May 6 instead of April 29 like the initial plan. "Scream" is the band's first English full-length album which tracks are taken from their previous German releases, "Schrei" and "Zimmer 483".

Two singles have been spawned for the Stateside version including the lead single "Ready, Set Go!". A third one which is titled "Don't Jump" will be released on Friday, April 4. Meanwhile, the band and MTV Buzzworthy also offer a different version of "Scream" that was recorded live from Fillmore East in New York. The version can be downloaded here.

Kanye West is among the star-studded line up that will grace the stage of the annual Virgin Mobile Festival this year. Virgin founder and CEO Richard Branson announced that the rapper will be accompanied by Foo Fighters, Nine Inch Nails, Jack Johnson, and the reunited Stone Temple Pilots in the Baltimore leg.

Winning an Academy Award apparently didn't help the acclaimed "No Country for Old Men" actor Javier Bardem in keeping his film role in "Tetro". According to Hollywood Reporter, the 39-year-old Spanish actor has to give up his role to a fellow Spaniard actress Carmen Maura in the Francis Ford Coppola's latest feature film project.

The actor who is rumored to be having a romantic relationship with actress Penelope Cruz apparently has to give up his character to the "Volver" actress because Coppola has done "a sex change operation" to the character. "One of the important roles in the script is a mentor and teacher to Tetro (Vincent Gallo), and I originally wrote it for a man," explained Coppola about the changes done. "As I read and reread (the script), I felt that the interaction between the two characters would be far more intriguing if they were of the opposite sex."

Nicole Richie plans to launch a new clothing line for pregnant women. She revealed the plan to the press while she was attending the opening of the new Balenciaga store in Los Angeles, this weekend. Nicole who just gave birth to a baby girl, named Harlow Winter, on January 11, said that the inspiration to launch the clothing line came from the designs of Balenciaga creative director, Nicolas Ghesquiere.

The actress claimed that wearing the clothes Nicolas designed made her stay fashionable during her pregnancy times. "Thank Nicolas. I wore so much Balenciaga during my pregnancy that he was one of my main inspirations," she said.

A massive deal may well be on the way between Jay-Z and Live Nation. A partnership, reportedly worth $150 million, is being offered to the rapper by the concert promoter to launch a new business venture called Roc Nation which name is derived from Jay's label Roc-A-Fella. It is expected to be finalized this week, New York Times reported.

Should the deal is struck, Live Nation would finance the start-up cost of Jay-Z's ventures that may include touring, a new music label, managing, publishing and merchandising for the next decade and its profit will then be split with the promoter. A full trailer of the upcoming drama film "Kit Kittredge: An American Girl" has been posted online. The compilation of clips from the film starring rising star Abigail Breslin lasts up to nearly two and a half minutes.

While materials are still accumulated for their new album, The Who will release a collection of vintage R 'n' B covers with the help of producer T Bone Burnett. The set will be much like the Motown and James Brown songs that they performed early in their career, RollingStone.com reported.

"We're digging through lots of material and seeing what will work," said Burnett. "There's an incredible treasury of songs in the mode of what they used to play. R 'n' B singer Ashanti has finally set a date for her much-delayed album "The Declaration". The set which would be her fourth and the follow up to 2004's "Concrete Rose", will hit the stores on June 3 through The Inc./Universal Motown with the first single being "The Way That I Love You".

"It's been a long time coming for change, and the timing was just right," Ashanti told Billboard.com. The album employs in many ways issues on womanhood and women empowerment. She said the album "touches on those low points in life that determine whether you're strong enough to go on. It reminds women that they can't let things get the best of them."

The forthcoming family adventure film "Speed Racer" is heading to the 2008 Tribeca Film Festival. ComingSoon reported that on Wednesday, April 2, 2008, Warner Bros. Pictures and the organizers of the film festival have let out announcement that the Wachowski brothers' film scheduled to bow in theaters on May 9 will be the closing film for the film festival.

According to United Press International, the special screening of the film starring Emile Hirsch, Christina Ricci and Matthew Fox will be done on Saturday, May 3 at the Borough of Manhattan Community College Tribeca Performing Arts Center in Lower Manhattan, New York as well as at the Pace University Michael Schimmel Center for the Arts.
