Video Premiere: Kid Rock's 'Amen'

The second single from Kid Rock's 'Rock N Roll Jesus' album has got its music video premiered. The track 'Amen', self-proclaimed to be one of the best pieces he had written, concerns humanity subjects such as war, politics, poverty and even hypocrite inside religions.

The video thus is made in line to the subjects with scenes of African people, funeral after war, strike on race issues and many more. Photographer David Tunnley who had won a Pulitzer Prize reportedly sat as the director of the clip.

'Diving Bell' Gathered Nod at 19th PGA Awards

On the announcement of the 19th PGA Awards' nominations made on Monday, January 14, "The Diving Bell and the Butterfly" becomes the only foreign language film to be nominated for the Producers Guild of America's top feature film awards. The film produced by Kathleen Kennedy and Jon Kilik receives nod for the Darryl F. Zanuck Producer of the Year Award in Theatrical Motion Pictures.

Under the category, the French-American film will be facing strong contenders, the crime tale "No Country for Old Men" and the historical epic "There Will Be Blood". Aside from the two film critics' favorites, it also has to be up against the teen-pregnancy comedy "Juno" and the legal drama "Michael Clayton".

Video Premiere: DAUGHTRY's 'Feels Like Tonight'

DAUGHTRY are still spawning singles from their highly-successful debut album. The rock band have just premiered the music video for ballad 'Feels Like Tonight', the sixth from the self-titled album.

The music video that was debuted by Amazon.com on Monday, January 14 was directed by Martin Weisz that previously helmed the film 'The Hills Have Eyes II'. Beside sitting for films, Weisz had also directed many music videos such as P. Diddy's 'PE2000', Korn's 'Somebody Someone' and Meat Loaf's 'Did I Say That'.

Will Smith's Son Landed a Role in Thriller Movie

Following his father's footstep of being an actor, Will Smith's 9-year-old son, Jaden Smith has landed himself a part in the 20th Century Fox's "The Day the Earth Stood Still". Though the speculation of him starring in the sci-fi thriller remake has broken out earlier, Hollywood Reporter has just given out the confirmation.

According to the site, the young star in "The Pursuit of Happyness", in which he played opposite his father, will be playing Jacob, the rebellious 8-year-old son of scientist Helen Benson who first makes contact with a humanoid alien Klaatu. Smith will also be joining the star studded cast consisting of Jennifer Connelly, Keanu Reeves, Kathy Bates and the Golden Globe winner Jon Hamm.

Eagles to Kick Off World Tour With London Residency

Eagles will soon begin their world tour to support 'Long Road Out of Eden' at O2. The rock band have announced a residency at the London stadium for four nights.

The first date would be March 20, followed by 22, 23, and 26. Tickets for these four shows will go on-sale on Friday, January 18 with price ranging from 70 to 110 pounds via Ticketmaster. The world tour will also take them to U.S., Australia and other U.K. territories with dates expected to be announced soon.

Ellen Page Cast in Drew Barrymore's Directorial Project?

The pregnant teenager in "Juno", Ellen Page, reportedly is being cast in Drew Barrymore's directorial debut project "Whip It!". The rumor broke out following FilmSchoolRejects' e-mail interview with Shauna Cross, the author of the novel 'Derby Girl' that is adapted into the film.

When asked about the casting, the author/screenwriter hinted that the Kitty Pryde in "X-Men: The Last Stand" is one of the actresses to play in the film. FilmSchoolRejects noted her answer writing, "Rumor is the lead could be played by an actress whose name rhymes with 'Shmellen Shmage.' (Translates to: Ellen Page?) But what do I know? I'm just the writer."

She was photographed by David Sims, the man behind the shots of the current Fall CK Jeans ads with British musician Jamie Burke and model Lara Stone.

Rumored of being left by its director Bryan Singer, the sequel of "Superman Returns" is hit with another speculation. Movie Web reported that "Superman: The Man of Steel" is likely to be put on hold for an indefinite time possibly due to the WGA strike and disappointing returns of "Returns".

Further, according to Variety, the action adventure film was losing its writers as the screenwriters for "Returns", Michael Dougherty and Dan Harris, have chosen not to be involved in the franchise film. Allegedly, all of the problems accumulated to the pushing back of release date from 2009 to 2010.

It is stated that the studio are looking for a person that has physical ability to animate the character. They added that the applicants ought to be ultra-thin. They must also be comfortable wearing full facial make-up appliances with limited vision and do not mind the full body makeup application process.
