Broken heart and remain single is an old story for Lance Bass. The former boy-bander, who recently publicly stated that he once married a girlfriend after having a wild night with her in Sin City with the intention to get free drinks all night, is off the market. And this time on, referring to his being gay, found himself a new boyfriend.

Previously dated "Amazing Race" winner Reichen Lehmkuhl and has since their split being romantically linked to model Pedro Andrade, Bass' new fling, Ben Thigpen, comes from not-far-away from Hollywood entertainment profession. He's a hairdresser.

Guillermo del Toro Performs Triple Job for Champions

Though currently busy filming "Hellboy 2: The Golden Army", Guillermo del Toro apparently is still able to lay eyes on another film project. According to Variety, the Mexican filmmaker is about to write, direct, and produce "Champions", a sci-fi action feature from United Artists.

Project, a big screen version of the 1968-69 British TV series of the same name, thereby will mark a departure for del Toro, who is known for his work in comic-book adaptations such as "Hellboy" and "Blade II" or horror fare "The Devil's Backbone" and fantasies like "Pan's Labyrinth."

Oscar-Winning Filmmaker Roman Polanski Directing The Ghost

Recently ditching his helming duties on "Pompeii", Roman Polanski turns out to have taken a new big screen title as his next directing gig. Report from Variety has stated that the Paris-born filmmaker is set to work on a political thriller feature titled "The Ghost."

Based on Robert Harris' recently-published novel of the same name, project concerns a ghostwriter who is hired to complete the memoirs of a former British prime minister and uncovers secrets that put his own life in jeopardy. The author is said to also come on board helping Polanski adapting the book to a screenplay.

Eagles Done Making Album Post 'Eden'

Eagles have intended their latest album 'Long Road Out of Eden' to be a one time only. The reunited band will not make anymore albums after that although 'Eden' scored #1 in both U.K. and U.S.

"This is the final statement," drummer Don Henley told NME.com. "We got back together and went around the world twice on tour but then there was nothing left to do without new music. Now we have this album that fits in with our body of work. There won't be another Eagles album after this."

Star Trek's Christopher Pike Is Cast, It's Bruce Greenwood

The last piece of the puzzle has finally been found. Completing the main lineup of "Star Trek" cast, Paramount Pictures has locked Bruce Greenwood for the role of Starship Enterprise's first captain Christopher Pike, which Tom Cruise was previously speculated to be up for.

The character was first featured in the original pilot of the series, created by Gene Roddenberry, but was failed to grace the audience as the pilot was rejected by CBS then NBC. He, however, was later weaved back into "Star Trek" lore and showed up in a two-part episode.

"Marc and I are expecting," Lopez told the crowd of fans in Miami who erupted with screams and applause.

Nick Hogan's freedom stops just now. The son of wrestling superstar Hulk Hogan was cited on numbers of serious criminal charges, one most obvious is third-degree felony reckless driving involving serious bodily injury, stemmed from an August car crash that left his passenger in critical condition.

Nick was arrested early Wednesday morning November 7th by police in Clearwater, Florida, for his involvement in the street-racing crash back on August 26th that left his best friend John Graziano remains hospitalized, reportedly in a coma.

Harry Potter 4 Maker Offered Helmer's Chair in Prince of Persia

It turns out that Michael Bay won't be the one taking care of Walt Disney Pictures' "Prince of Persia: Sands of Time" despite the previous heavy publication. Variety has just revealed that an offer to assume the directing duties has been made to "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" helmer Mike Newell.

The site went on saying the man met Disney execs to discuss the project this week with negotiations being expected to begin shortly. The studio recently was learned to not race to get the flick into production until labor issues are resolved.

Jay-Z's 'American Gangster' is the predicted top seller next week on Billboard Hot 200 chart. Nielsen SoundScan's Building Chart that was released yesterday (November 7) reported that 179,000 copies have been sold on the first day.

His number is followed by Chris Brown's 'Exclusive' (107,000), this week's chart reigner Eagles' 'Long Road Out of Eden' (89,000) and Garth Brooks' 'The Ultimate Hits' (61,000).

Celine Dion Plots 'Taking Chances World Tour'

Once Celine Dion has freed herself from the contract with Las Vegas' Colosseum at Caesars Palace, she will concentrate on supporting 'Taking Chances'. The new album will be promoted in 45 dates all across North America and Canada, but not so soon.

The Las Vegas contract will wind down December 15 but Dion is taking her time for the first date in Stateside. It is only begun in Boston on August 12 next year and will run up to January 20, 2009 in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. Before that she will first serve some dates in Europe, Asia and Africa that will start February 14 in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Early winners of Country Music Association Awards have been announced. Among those warming up for the event is Carrie Underwood who snapped 'Single of the Year' through, undoubtedly, 'Before He Cheats'.

Underwood's winning is accompanied by two categories that were announced later on, 'Vocal Group of the Year' and 'Song of the Year'. The former went to Rascal Flatts who just had their latest effort topping the Billboard chart and the latter went to George Strait through his hit 'Give It Away'.
