Looks like Warner Bros. Pictures is not the only one that is currently in search for names to fill in the supporting roles of "Watchmen" as Paramount Pictures apparently is gearing for similar thing for its highly-anticipated sci-fi project of "Star Trek."

Ain't It Cool News (AICN) has delightfully revealed descriptions of age range that actors should be in to play characters presented in the movie apart from the young Mr. Spock, which has been secured by "Heroes" star Zachary Quinto.

Scoot Rudin, the motion picture producer widely known for such film projects as "Failure to Launch" (2006) and "The Queen" (2006), has acquired the rights to turn "The Dangerous Book for Boys" into a big screen adaptation for Walt Disney Pictures.

"The Dangerous Book for Boys" is a non-fiction guidebook written by British siblings Conn Iggulden and Hal Iggulden and published by Harper Collins. The book, which is aimed at boys "from eight to eighty," was first published in the UK June last year and in the US in May 2007.

With casting for the principal roles in "Watchmen" being completed, it seems the next task that filmmakers of the project have in mind now is supposedly finding a bunch of acting talents for the supporting characters in the movie.

What is interesting here is that the roles turn out to be real-life famous names from the 1980s, the era during which the film takes place. Concerning this matter, Moviehole.net has delightfully provided a rundown of the figures that will be appearing in the flick:

On the heels of 'Stronger', Kanye West is having 'Good Life' as the third single off studio album 'Graduation'. The singer performed the full version of the song for the first time in an event to honor music mogul Quincy Jones on July 28.

'Good Life' is a mid-tempo featuring T-Pain. Part of it samples on Michael Jackson's 1983 hit 'P.Y.T (Pretty Young Thing)'. The song was actually premiered live during a concert in Manchester, England on July 2 but only to a portion of it. A video is now prepared to be released but no official date has been announced yet.

Justin Timberlake has fueled speculation he's getting serious with new girlfriend Jessica Biel after he was reported buying her a ring.

The pop singer was seen browsing for a promise ring in Santa Monica, about which a source told Life & Style magazine, "Justin isn't ready to propose, but he wants to make a commitment to her. Justin says Jess is his dream girl. He wants to give her a symbol of his affection and love."

The messy girl turns feminine. Amy Winehouse is showing off her girlie power, revealed her intention to set up a beauty salon should her singing career comes to an end.

Waking up from their long sleep, hard rock act Scorpions prepares to release a concept album titled "Humanity Hour 1" in U.S.. With reputation of selling over 70 millions records worldwide, the band came out strong on the quality of people behind the panel and mic.

Hearing names behind the project is like a treat itself. Those help pushing this album are producer James Michael and songwriter slash producer Desmond Child known for his work with KISS, Aerosmith and Bon Jovi. "Desmond is a fabulous visionary who took us to musical levels we had never reached before," said lead guitarist Matthias Jabs. Providing voice in track 'The Cross' is The Smashing Pumpkins' Billy Corgan.

Amid persistent rumors on their break up, which the couple obviously dismissed, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie made another headlines yet again when it is reported that they are about to be featured on a new Australia Post stamp, ranked them with the likes of the Queen, the Pope and the nation's sporting heroes.

Pitt and Jolie helped New Idea magazine to break sales records and earn top awards at the 10th Annual Magazine of the Year Awards this week with their being featured on its recent cover. Story revolves around three strangers who compete for a mysterious object on a train on Christmas Eve. Sobieski is learned to play a seemingly sedate med student under the direction of Brian King, who also penned the screenplay.

Lily Allen hinted a new progress of her sophomore album on a blog writing. The British import said that she has the name for a song and the title of the album.

If Terry Bozzio cited "personal conflicts" as the reason he left Korn, the band's guitarist James Shaffer went for details. Shaffer revealed that Bozzio departed after the drummer made "offensive" demand to the band.

“There were certain demands that he made," Shaffer spoke. "We weren't ready to meet those demands. He was a great guy and a phenomenal drummer but the demands that he made were offensive. He wanted to be a member of the band, and that included ownership. We were like, 'What, you want to have 25 per cent of everything?' We can't just sign away the right to music on a whim."

Marilyn Manson hit the down low in his music career after the former keyboardist of his band, Marilyn Manson Band, sued him for more than $20 million, claimed he had used the band money to buy Nazi artifacts.

The wedding is on. Usher kept the words he told reporters that he and fiancee Tameka Foster are still together and are still planning to get married. The couple, who called of their wedding last week, walked down the aisle in a low key ceremony on Friday August 3rd.

The marriage was held in the office of Usher's Atlanta lawyer. Among those in attendance during the ceremony was momma Jonetta Patton, who reportedly didn't approve of the bride, but was there to be by her son's side.
