Stars Holding Dream Concert for "The King"

A number of stars such as Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, and Carlos Santana will appear for a charity show in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. They will raise money to aid the building of the late politician's memorials.

Other performers also playing their part in the event dubbed Dream Concert are Robin Thicke, Bebe and Cece Winans and Jessye Norman. For the host slot, "Today" show weatherman Al Roker will be joined by Ben Affleck, Shaquille O'Neal and LaDainian Tomlinson. The masterminds behind this event are actually Quincy Jones, Russell Simmons and Tommy Hilfiger.

50 Cent Has the Rights to "Kill"

Really paving a solid path in film industry, 50 Cent has landed a starring slot to play a drug dealer opposite veteran actors Al Pacino and Robert De Niro in Millenium Films' recently-announced "Righteous Kill", the rapper himself revealed during the launch of a Manhattan showroom for his G-Unit clothing on Tuesday, June 19.

"I'm not even sure they know yet," the guy told The New York Daily News. "Me and Robert were supposed to shoot a film where I played a police officer, but now Al and Robert play the cops."

Kat DeLuna "Whine Up" with Elephant Man

On full throttle, rising star Kat Deluna is not only setting the date of her debut album "9 Lives", but also releasing the first single's music video. Upbeat "Whine Up" featuring Elephant Man premiered on her MySpace site.

Initially DeLuna opened a competition among fans who live in NYC to send in their videos featuring them dancing along the tune. The final result of the video featured DeLuna singing an Opera piece at the beginning but soon cut through by a tune of her song.

David Strathairn Treats the "Sisters" Well

After a stint in thriller genre through "Fracture", now comes a horror turn for David Strathairn as The Hollywood Reporter has learned that the Oscar-nominated actor is coming onboard to join Elizabeth Banks in DreamWorks Pictures' "A Tale of Two Sisters."

An Americanized version of the 2003 Korean flick "Janghwa, Hongryeon", the project revolves around two sisters who return home after spending time in a mental institution. Banks has already billed as their cruel, obsessive stepmother while Strathairn is said to portray their concerned father.

They made it public, finally. Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel made it obvious to everyone that they are dating. The lovers were seen holding hands and putting their arms around in each other while strolling about together in Oslo, Norway.

The couple was reported to then join friends for lunch at T.G.I Friday's. Later that day they were seen kissing aboard a speedboat as Justin touched down in Oslo to continue his European tour.

Rapper Yung Berg Giving First Taste of Debut Album

Yung Berg, a new rapper with big promise has emerged in music industry with debut album "Look What You Made Me". The Chicago native is to release the album in August but he will give an early treat of it through "Almost Famous (The Sexy Lady EP)".

The EP that contains 6 songs has "Sexy Lady" featuring Junior as the main song. There will be other tracks that receive the collaboration from fellow rappers Twista, Jim Jones and Rich Boy. This EP will hit stores July 24 via Epic Records.

Amy Adams to Express Her "Doubt"

Eager to have one more Oscar-recognized talent in the lineup, filmmakers of "Doubt" are reportedly holding negotiations with Academy Award nominee Amy Adams to have the beauty joined the flick's cast, which has already included Oscar winners Meryl Streep and Philip Seymour Hoffman.

Adapted from the John Patrick Shanley Pulitzer Prize-winning play, the drama concerns a Bronx Catholic school principal who confronts a popular priest upon suspecting him sexually harassing a black student. If deals are reached, Adams will likely play the pivotal role of a young nun caught in the tense confrontation between the two, portrayed by Streep and Hoffman.

Set to take the similar step made by fellow thespian Forest Whitaker in "The Last King of Scotland", Morgan Freeman has given his commitment to play real-life leader of former South African President Nelson Mandela in independently financed drama "The Human Factor."

Based on John Carlin's upcoming book "The Human Factor: Nelson Mandela and the Game That Changed the World", the project is set after the fall of apartheid, when South Africa hosted the 1995 Rugby World Cup. Mandela was in his first term as the president of South Africa, and he used the event as a means to end decades of mistrust and hatred between whites and blacks.

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce Walk of Fame Committee announced on Wednesday June 20th the Walk of Fame recipients for 2008. Among the many names mentioned there are the likes of Brooks & Dunn, Ricky Martin, Christina Aguilera, Red Hot Chili Peppers and George Harrison, who are all granted Hollywood stars in the recording category.

On the Motion Pictures category, the recipients are Angela Bassett, Cate Blanchett, Stan Lee, The Munchkins (from "The Wizard of Oz"), Tim Robbins and The Westmores of Hollywood, a longtime show business makeup family.

DreamWorks Lights the "Lamp"

Providing a very promising property for fans of fantasy genre to see in the future, DreamWorks Pictures is on its way to spawn "Children of the Lamp" based on the P.B. Kerr best-selling book series of which feature rights it has smoothly secured, Variety has reported.

The original follows the international adventures of a family of djinn -- or genies -- who pass for human yet possess the power to grant wishes. Kerr already witnessed the first three books in the series sold over one million copies across the globe and is next slated to see the fourth one, "The Day of the Djinn Warrior", hit the book stores in September.

"That is ridiculous," Tameka told Essence.com on the pregnancy report. "Friends tell me about some of [the online gossip] and we'll laugh, but honestly, I don't pay attention to the gossip on the day-to-day. If that were the case, the baby would have been born already."

Jackson was shooting scenes for the movie on the very same day, appearing as Nick Fury, the famous superspy character in the Marvel Comics universe. Two Collect "Dust of Time"

Both successfully establishing solid reputation in Hollywood, Willem Dafoe and Harvey Keitel have been brought together to star in "The Dust of Time", an English-language debut from Greek filmmaker Theo Angelopoulos.

Project was unveiled by Angelopoulos on Monday, June 18 in Cologne, Germany where he spoke at a panel at Filmstiftung North Rhine-Westphalia's annual International Film Congress. Plot details still remain a mystery, but it is revealed that filming will begin this October in Russia for a 2008 release with Bruno Ganz and Valeria Golino also starring.
