+44's Second Set Taking Shape

What started off good, Punk rock act +44 is determined to get better in the next set. While busy touring with Fall Out Boy in Honda Civic Tour, the band is in its early stages of second album.

"We'll definitely be back in the studio, probably by the end of the year," said singer/bassist Mark Hoppus. "We have some ideas. We have a couple of very rough demos that we've been working on. I know that everybody has a lot of little parts of songs, and once we get into the studio we'll be putting it all together."

Evanescence Prompts Two New Members

Not waiting for some drama, Evanescence quickly adds two new members for their summer tour. Drummer Will Hunt and guitarist Troy McLawhorn, both plucked from alt-metal band Dark New Day have replaced John LeCompt and Rocky Gray.

"I am a big fan of Dark New Day and can't wait for the fans to see what the guys bring to our live show," Lee said in a statement.

Rumor has it the actress is asking for platinum and silver gifts from the luxury jewelers. Her gift list includes platinum band dinnerware for 12 and a sterling silver scalloped bowl - at a whopping $1,500.

Still on heavy promotion for its F/X-laden flick "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer", 20th Century Fox has delightfully brought up to the surface both new TV spot and film clip for the movie on the web.

Both available on iklipz , the TV ad can be seen here and the promotional clip here. The former, while appearing to show most of the same scenes featured in the recent trailer, provides a humorous gag that has Invisible Woman inherit Human Torch's powers plus the new voice of Silver Surfer. As for the latter one, it presents our heroes' first encounter with this herald to Galactus at Reed Richards and Sue Storm's wedding.

Story is said to revolve around a woman who struggles to survive as she finds herself at the mercy of a psychopathic killer after taking a detour into the backwoods of a remote area just outside of New York.

Ryan Phillippe Seeks Joint Custody of Kids with Reese Witherspoon

First it was Reese Witherspoon, and now it's Ryan Phillippe's turn. The young actor has on Tuesday May 15th filed a divorce response, asked for joint legal custody and physical custody of their kids, Deacon Phillippe and Ava Elizabeth Phillippe.

In his filing Phillippe asked that child visitation be "equally allocated" between Witherspoon and himself, while opted not to seek any spousal support from Witherspoon, who according to report has a higher earning than himself.

Just few days after the arrival of "The Dark Knight" teaser page on the web, the site has already been updated with a new image showing Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent, a close ally of Batman besides Lieutenant Jim Gordon before the acid incident turns him into supervillain Two-Face.

The image can be viewed either by clicking the Batman logo on the site or simply going to IBelieveinHarveyDent.com. Its appears to be a kind of political campaign hailing Dent for the seat of Gotham City's district attorney.

At the same time Sienna Miller was announced to replace Jessica Biel in Myriad Pictures' "A Woman of No Importance", the studio also revealed that it would develop a new thriller feature entitled "Cry of the Owl" which is included in its' Cannes Film Festival pre-sales lineup.

To realize the project, the company has picked up four names of Sarah Polley, Paddy Considine, Debra Messing, and Scott Speedman to all star in under the direction of British filmmaker Jamie Thraves.

According to online gossip columnist Janet Charlton, the flick's producers are very eager to have the pair in the project and even are offering them a clause in their contracts stating they will not have to strip off or shoot any sex scenes.

Biel previously was appointed to fill in the part after Lohan decided to take departure from the project. The two lauded thespians are said to play cops chasing a serial killer under the direction of Jon Avnet, who is set to helm based on script by Russell Gewirtz as well as to produce alongside Avi Lerner, Randall Emmett, Boaz Davidson, George Furla, and Alexandra Milchan.

The Bunker Hill will be rebuilt, that's for sure. Yes, 20th Century Fox is teaming up with New Regency to develop "Taps", a redo of the 1981 military drama of the same title starred by George C. Scott, Tom Cruise, Timothy Hutton, and Sean Penn.

No acting names boarding the project yet, but it is confirmed that Frank E. Flowers will pen the script with an eye to direct with John Davis producing and Robbie Brenner executive producing. Flowers, who is also attached to helm "The Trespasser", reportedly will begin writing immediately.
