The Top 10 Singles in the United States

R&B artist Akon scores a new record. The singer from Senegal has his first No. 1 hit on the Hot 100 this week as his single "I Wanna Love You" featuring Snoop Dogg bounces 16 places from last week position, to directly become the No. 1 track on the chart. His other song, "Smack That" featuring Eminem, holds at No. 2 on the chart as well.

On top of all, Akon's latest effort "Konvicted" opened at No. 2 on The Billboard 200 for the week ended Nov 22nd, selling 284,000 copies in its first week of release. With such record on the single charts, it is safe to say we can expect Akon's LP will climb up to number one next week. On the Hot 100, Beyonce Knowles' "Irreplaceable" climbs one to No. 3, followed after by Justin Timberlake's "My Love" at No. 4.

Being the new James Bond star never comes easy for Daniel Craig. Thanks God that the role is worth played. Presumably due to the controversy of his becoming the first "blonde Bond", the actor has been chosen the second Most Searched for Celebrity among UK web users.

Web analysis firm Hitwise has proven the fact that web users have shown strong demand for information on Craig and his new film "Casino Royale." Surpassing the action hero is Faith Brown who currently appearing as a contestant on the 6th series of "I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!" who is on the No. 1 spot.

Amid the pride that arises following the successful attempt of "The Nativity Story" to have its premiere in the Vatican, gloomy news has come to the surface as it is reported that Pope Benedict XVI has turned down an invitation to attend the film's screening set to be held on Sunday, November 26.

Speculations then are abuzz that the refusal has something to do with Keisha Castle-Hughes, who plays Jesus' mother Mary in the picture. It is said that the fact she is pregnant and unmarried has embarrassed the Catholic Church and so, leads the Pope opting to not attend the premiere in turn.

Sold the house in Malibu, California for 13.5 million U.S. dollars, rumor has it that the pop singer is looking to buy one in the Miami area with a price around 29 million dollars.

Losing the title of Top-Grossing Tour ever to Irish rock band U2 last year, The Rolling Stones wins back the predicate this year as their "A Bigger Bang" tour has grossed a staggering $437 million and drawn 3.5 million people to 110 shows.

Greater than that, there were an estimated crowd of 2 million saw the band performed at Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro back in February.

Brangelina Spent Thanksgiving in Vietnam

Hollywood superstars Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have an extraordinary Thanksgiving celebration. Instead of enjoying Turkey, the celebrity couple spent the day, making a surprise visit to Vietnam, cruising around Ho Chi Minh City on a motorbike.

Pitt was spotted riding on a gray motorbike Thursday Nov 23rd with Jolie perched on the seat behind him. After their two-wheeled tour of the city, Brangelina then dined on the native cuisine at a popular restaurant converted from an old temple.
