Clive Barker is ready to give fresh treatment on "Hellraiser." Yes, the English-born American-resident author/filmmaker is about to revamp and rewrite this very own work of his for The Weinstein Company, which will join forces with Dimension Films to produce the remake.

Revealing the tidbit on his official website, Revelations, Barker openly expressed his response concerning this matter. "I'm excited about it - actually it'll be kinda cool to revisit it once and see if there are things we can do to it which will make it significantly better," so he stated as posted on the site.

The pop star has collaborated with Mattel to unveil 11 different head-to-toe outfits under the Barbie Fashions Designed by Hilary Duff label. The collection includes denim pieces, accessories and even faux fur. The set, moreover, is divided into two categories, sweet and rocker.

The voice cast of "Igor" gets more highlight by now as two stars namely Jeremy Piven and Molly Shannon have given their agreement to lend their voice to the project, the flick's studio Exodus Film Group has announced.

Lining up with the likes of Steve Buscemi, John Cleese, and Christian Slater, Piven will voice the role of the title character's nemesis Dr. Schadenfreude while Shannon is billed to fill the voice of a giant, indestructible monster named Eva that is invented by Igor.

Broken Wrist Forced George Jones to Cancel Shows

Country singer George Jones was forced to cancel three shows this weekend after fracturing his right wrist in Nashville Friday Oct 19th.

Jones' record label Bandit Records says the 75-year-old singer was going into his producer's studio in Nashville to sing on his daughter Georgette Jones' record when fell down a couple of stairs and hit the cement walkway, breaking the fall with his right hand and fracturing his wrist.

I couldn't write without it. I'd say it's a great drug."

However, in the interview with ITV during which he openly smokes a cannabis joint, the controversial singer also said that marijuana "obviously is not very healthy." He went on saying, "It's very good for creative people. But it can be a terrible, terrible drug."

Striking actress Rachel McAdams is in line for her next acting stint. TMZ reported that the beauty is involved in talks to have a starring role in "The Time Traveler's Wife", a romantic drama of New Line Cinema production.

If a deal is reached, the project thus will mark the reunion between McAdams and screenwriter Jeremy Leven after their collaboration in "The Notebook." In the meantime, it is also reported that Stephen Frears and Robert Schwentke have been the studio's two main choices in its list of directors.

Accompanying Sandler, his partners at Happy Madison Jack Giarraputo and Heather Parry will also seat as producers alongside Kevin Misher, who produced "The Interpreter" last year for Universal Pictures.

Set to meet face to face in one screen, Kelly Preston and Michelle Trachtenberg have both given positive sign to take starring part in "The Possibility of Fireflies", an adaptation of Dominique Paul's novel of the same title.

Here Preston is billed as a single mother struggling to keep her life in order after being abandoned by her husband while Trachtenberg will portray her older daughter. Production is slated to begin in January in South Carolina with Paul herself to direct.

Fresh from helming "Premonition" for Columbia Pictures, Mennan Yapo has already landed another job to do. Variety noted that the Munich-born filmmaker has been appointed to direct political thriller "The Ambassador", a new project coming from Universal Pictures.

Based on Ward S. Just's novel of the same name, the movie will take focus on an American diplomat who is threatened to have his career ruined when his son turns out to be involved in a German terrorist organization. Larry Ramin is attached to pen the script with Strike Entertainment's Marc Abraham and Eric Newman producing.

Seemingly eager to revamp sex thriller genre, Dimension Films has picked up David Loucka's pitch "The Boathouse" to bring it up to the big screen with Ehren Kruger and Daniel Bobker to produce.

Described by Kruger as a "standout horror story, a scary film that explores sexual seduction in a way that the genre rarely braves to do", the project concerns a man who suspects his new girlfriend may be cursed upon finding out that her past lovers died under suspicious circumstances. Iain Softley is on board to direct also to produce alongside his partner Sarah Curtis via their Forthcoming Productions.

Once again set to deliver nerve-wracking experience toward moviegoers after his work in "The Amityville Horror", screenwriter Scott Kosar has been picked up to pen the script of horror feature "Bell Witch", Variety has reported.
