Cynthia Watros Is Doing "My Ex-Life"

Actress Cynthia Watros is doing "My Ex-Life", replacing Gillian Vigman, who originally was cast in the CBS' comedy pilot.

There in the project, Watros will play opposite Tom Cavanagh. The two are set to play two best friends who happen to be a divorced couple sharing custody.

Warner Bros. Acquired Film Rights to "Larklight"

Warner Bros. has acquired film rights to "Larklight". And soon as the studio does so, it has set the film project for Denise Di Novi to produce.

"Larklight" is an adventure fantasy movie based on British author Philip Reeve's script. It actually is the first in a Victorian-era space adventure trilogy in which a brother and sister team with a band of renegade space pirates to save the world from destruction at the hands of a madman.

Michael Jackson really is willing to live a brand new life. Not long after he was cleared from a molestation charge, the King of Pop announced Tuesday April 18th, 2006 his planning to make a comeback to music scene.

Jacko said he has teamed up with Seas Records, a Bahraini music label owned by Bahrain royal family member Abdulla Hamad Al-Khalifa, to record a new album and is eyeing a late 2007 release. Moreover, it is also reported that British music exec Guy Holmes has been named CEO of the joint project.

Holmes & Cruise Welcome A Baby Girl Named Suri

It's a girl too for Katie Holmes and her soon-to-be husband Tom Cruise. At the same day fellow actress Brooke Shields gave birth to her second daughter on Tuesday April 18th, 2006, the Hollywood most-talked couple welcomed their first child, a baby girl, who they called Suri.

In a statement released by the couple's publicist it is explained that "Suri" means "princess" in Hebrew and "red rose" in Persian. As of the newly born, she weighed in at 7 pounds, 7 ounces, and was 20 inches long. Further the statement said that mother and daughter are "doing well."

Brooke Shields and her screenwriter husband Chris Henchy have a new addition to their family as the actress gave birth to their second child Tuesday morning April 18th, 2006 in Los Angeles.

And again it's a girl for the couple who has had one Rowan. The 7-pound, 20-inch baby girl was named Grier Hammond.

Aussie actor Russell Crowe has signed on to star in director John Polson's indie thriller "Tenderness". He is said to shoot the project in May.

"Tenderness" was adapted by screenwriter Emil Stern from the novel by Robert Cormier. It follows a violent teenager, Eric, whose life intertwines with Lori, a 16-year-old runaway who can't resist his charm.

Colin & Nicole Legal Battle Over Sex Tape Settled

Both sides could finally take a sigh as they at last reached an amicable settlement. Colin Farrell and former girlfriend, Nicole Narain have both reached settlement in their legal battle over a sex tape they made together three years ago.

As apparent to public worldwide, Farrell once sued Narain, accusing her of trying to sell the tape to third party breaking their agreement to keep the tape for private viewing only. Thus, the actor then demanded general and compensatory damages, as well as the return of all copies of the tape to his possession.

The first home owned by Elvis Presley is for sale on eBay. The building, a ranch style house consists of four bedrooms, is located at 1034 Audubon Drive in Memphis.

Posted on eBay Friday April 14th, the lone bid by Elvis Unlimited, an organization that operates an Elvis museum and shop in Randers, Denmark was for $100,000 by Tuesday morning, April 18th, 2006.

She has had 30 film credits in hand in addition to the two Oscars she's gained within her film career. Such attainment surely is convincing enough to make Jessica Lange a leading actress of her generation and for many generations to come.

Citing her accomplishment, the Film Society of Lincoln Center has at their 34th Annual Gala Tribute honored Lange. Among the celebrities in attendance to celebrate the actress' career achievements were Kathy Bates, Christine Baranski, Alan Cumming and Joan Allen.

Cornish Signed on to Play the Lead in "Stop-Loss"

Aussie actress Abbie Cornish has inked a deal to star as the lead role in Paramount Pictures' upcoming project "Stop-Loss".

From Kimberly Peirce's direction, the film is of drama action genre which story centers on a soldier who returns home from Iraq to Texas and is called to duty again through the military's "stop-loss" procedure. The soldier then refuses to return to battle.

"Superman Returns: The Videogame" Soon to Come

The game adapted from the highly anticipated "Superman Returns" is completed and will soon hit the stores. The game, tentatively titled "Superman Returns: The Videogame", will be released on June 26, just four days before the movie hit worldwide theaters.

Tying the two projects, the flick and the game, there are some similarities between them. Two most obvious are the voice and likeness of the star. Fill in the voice on the game are the film cast, including Brandon Routh, Kevin Spacey, Kate Bosworth, Parker Posey and Sam Huntington.
