Sheridan Lends Vocal to "Bolton Swings Sinatra"

She's well known for her acting in the hit series "Desperate Housewives". Now that she's already gained popularity in the related field, Nicollette Sheridan gives hand at singing.

The actress has lent her voice to fiance Michael Bolton's upcoming album, "Bolton Swings Sinatra." While Bolton covers Frank Sinatra's popular tunes, like "That's Life," "My Funny Valentine," "Fly Me to the Moon," "New York, New York" and "Night and Day", Sheridan contributes her voice to the great musician's 1963 hit "The Second Time Around."

Former Blink-182 Guitarist Has Formed A New Band

"When I realized Blink wasn't going to be happening anymore, I realized I had new things that I needed to live up to," Tom DeLonge, former guitarist of Blink-182 told Billboard.com while remarked further "I had no idea I was going to make the best album of my life." And thus, DeLonge came up with a great idea, which was forming a band.

Soon as it was realized, the band called Angels & Airwaves, will on Wednesday hit the road before shortly thereafter release its debut album, self-produced "No Need to Whisper," on May 23rd later this year via Geffen Records. As of its members, the newly established band consists of David Kennedy, a bandmate from DeLonge's side project Box Car Racer, former Rocket from the Crypt drummer Atom Willard and former The Distillers bassist Ryan Sinn.

Proof of D12 Was Shot to Death

Proof, an Eminem protege and member of the Detroit rap group D12, was shot to death early Tuesday morning April 11th, 2006 in Detroit. The rapper, according to a spokeswoman for the Detroit police, was shot in the head at the CCC club on Eight Mile Road strip mall on Detroit's northern edge soon as a fight occurred at around 5 PM.

The star was rushed to Holy Cross Hospital in a private vehicle, but was pronounced dead on arrival. Moreover, police said that a 35-year-old man was also shot in the head and was listed in critical condition at St. John's Hospital. While investigation is underway, no suspects have been named.

Masterworks Added to National Recording Registry

50 recordings by veteran artists, like Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Wonder and B.B. King, are being added to the National Recording Registry at the Library of Congress. Why those masterworks and not the others? It is all because the recordings are considered to be "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant."

As of Wonder, he makes the list with his 1976 double album, "Songs in the Key of Life", while Hendrix's "Are You Experienced?", which was hailed as one of the "most groundbreaking guitar albums of the rock era, leads the newcomers. Music legend B.B. King is recognized for his legendary 1965 live concert album, "Live at the Regal".

Madonna & Guy's Marriage Has Been on the Rocks

That Madonna's marriage to Guy Ritchie has been on the rock is proven right. John Ritchie, the father of Guy, spills the things out to public during an interview with the British magazine "Closer" published Tuesday.

In his statement John does confirm the couple's relationship has been on the rocks and they are working to salvage their marriage by relocating to Los Angeles in February. That was the super-couple's last effort to work the things out.

Louis Vuitton Considers Lohan As Too American

Becoming an American for many people means pride and so does for Lindsay Lohan. Unfortunately, it doesn't always bring her good luck. The teen star apparently has been rejected as the face of Louis Vuitton because the fashion line considers her as "too American" for the brand's global image.

An insider tells British newspaper the Daily Mirror "Marc (Jacob) is great friends with Lindsay and she loves his clothes so it was no surprise rumors were flying that he was pushing his French bosses to get her to star in their campaign. But they thought Lindsay was too American for their global brand."

Child-Welfare Officials Visit Spears' Home

Pop singer Britney Spears back in spotlight, but in somewhat unpleasant one. The singer has on Saturday afternoon April 8th, 2006 got a visit from Los Angeles child-welfare officials accompanied by deputies.

Despite the "very standard, routine patrol request," the visit in fact occurred after Spears' son Sean Preston was diagnosed with minor skull fracture. That's according to Star magazine.

Minogue to Headline the Glastonbury Music Fest?

Festival organizer Michael Eavis revealed that he has asked pop singer Kylie Minogue to perform at the Glastonbury music festival which is slated to be held in 2007.

"Kylie is coming back hopefully. Her people are quite confident, she wants to do it," Eavis told reporters Tuesday at the London premiere of "Glastonbury," a movie documenting the festival's 35-year history.

Holly Marie Combs and her husband David W. Donoho are heading their happy days. The couple is expecting their second child together.

"She's only a few months. She's not showing, so it won't affect production." So said a spokesperson for the US WB network.
