Butler Fiennes to Serve Sarandon in New Film

What if. It's only 'what if' you have handsome actor Ralph Fiennes works in your house as a gay butler? But this one is real. The actor is about to portray a gay butler in the upcoming drama, comedy "Doris and Bernard."

"Doris and Bernard" is the story of tobacco billionaires Doris Duke and her butler. It will focus on the latter part of Duke's life and her relationship with her gay Irish butler, Bernard Lafferty, to whom she left her entire fortune.

Nicole & Paris Reconcile? "No, not at this point."

It's time for Nicole Richie to end her remain silent action concerning her split with ex-best-pal Paris Hilton. And so the socialite revealed all to Jane magazine, in the November issue, saying that the rift actually was begun years before it's widely reported.

She says "We really haven't been friends in probably about two years." Just for everybody to know, Paris has reportedly written a sorry letter to Richie, but when being asked if she will agree to reconcile with her, Richie simply replied "No, not at this point." What a pity.

Fanning to Voice Coraline

Age would not determine your quality. See what little actress Dakota Fanning does as an actress. She's just a great one. Anyway, the star has signed on to voice the title character in Laika Entertainment's animated feature "Coraline," based on the best-selling novel by Neil Gaiman.

Henry Selick is writing and directing the film, while Bill Mechanic will produce through his Pandemonium Films along with Laika's Mary Sandell.

Mother Nature maybe is mad. In succession to Hurricane Katrina and Stan, now occurs Hurricane Wilma that destroys almost everything from housing, people, to entertainment.

Days ago MTV cancelled its Latin America Music Video Awards ceremony, which slated to be held Thursday night in a seaside park south of Cancun. Just now, rock band ZZ Top has canceled two weekend concerts in Florida that include Friday's show at Centennial Park in Fort Myers and their appearance at Saturday's Biketoberfest at the new Destination Daytona complex in nearby Ormond Beach.

Photos of Spears' Baby Were Stolen

Pop superstar Britney Spears lost the photos of her newly born son Sean Preston. The photos featuring Spears' and husband Kevin Federline's month-old baby boy surfaced on the Internet on Friday, but the singer said they were stolen. Thus she is managed to take legal action against anyone who showed the images.

Photos of Spears holding a dark-haired child and another of the singer lying cheek to cheek with the baby had been removed from a number of Web sites by late on Friday. Regardless this matter, a publicist for her Leslie Sloan said "Anyone who publishes, sells or otherwise exploits any of these images in any way will be subject to liability and damages for willful infringement of copyright, invasion of privacy and other legal claims."

The Air They Breathe

The title is "The Air I Breathe," but it isn't exactly about air. The story of the drama action flick is based on an ancient Chinese proverb that breaks life down into four emotional cornerstones -- happiness, pleasure, sorrow and love.

The film, written by Jieho Lee and Bob DeRosa, will be directed by Jieho himself for Emilio Diez Barroso's Nala Films and Paul Schiff Productions. Shooting will take place in Mexico City in January. In the meantime, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ken Watanabe and Diego Luna are in talks to star in.

Paz Vega to Do the Memoirs of Hadrian

"Memoirs of Hadrian" is a drama flick which is adapted by Rospo Pallenberg and Ron Base from Margherite Yourcenar's historical novel of the same title. It actually is a fictional autobiography of the Roman emperor written as a series of letters to his nephew, Marcus Aurelius.

As shooting has been scheduled to take place between Serbia and Morocco, Spanish actress Paz Vega is still in talks to star in. Meanwhile, Antonio Banderas already signed on to star in the John Boorman's next film.

The Remake of "Creepshow"

This one also is new. It is Warner Bros. Pictures remake of the 1982 horror anthology movie written by Stephen King and directed by George A. Romero entitled "Creepshow." James Dudelson, the original rights holder, has been attached to produce along with Roy Lee and Doug Davison of Vertigo Entertainment as well as Taka Ichise of OZ LA and Tony Ludwig.

Unlike the original version, in which the stories were unconnected, in the upcoming one the individual stories will have interconnected characters and situations.

The Wind Blows at the Studio

Another day another new release for moviegoers. Here we have "Wind Chill," a thriller that George Clooney and Steven Soderbergh'sSection Eight production company and Blue Print Pictures are producing at Revolution Studios.

It is said that Greg Jacobs is directing the project, which script was written by Joe Gangemi and Steven Katz. Those works behind the scene has slated the film for the first quarter of 2006 release date.
