"Pele Forever"

Soccer legend Pele turns his attention to new object, which is a documentary film. Was back in the city on Friday, he introduced a documentary film of his life entitled "Pele Eterno" (Pele Forever), which was being shown at the New York's Museum of Modern Art on Saturday and Sunday as part of MoMA's exhibition of Brazilian cinema.

The movie, directed by Anibal Massaini, tells about the life of Pele through the eyes of his family and former teammates. Moreover, it will also include historic footage, some of it 50 years old, of a few of Pele's 1,281 goals in a 22-year career, including tallies in Brazil's 1958 and 1970 World Cup final victories.

50 Cent & Joy Bryant Dating?!

Recent rumors claiming rapper 50 Cent is dating his new movie co-star Joy Bryant, who is also Usher ex-girlfriend. "Joy has a history of hooking up with her leading men. But her and 50 are keeping this quiet. They avoid each other on the set, but there is a lot of sneaking into each other's hotel rooms," an insider on the set of "Get Rich Or Die Tryin'" film told the New York Daily News. On the contrary, Bryant representative refused to comment on the issue saying, "I have no idea and I don't really comment on her personal life."

Cage to star in Stone's WTC Film

In the wake of World Trade Center tragedy, Oscar-winning director Oliver Stone plans to direct a movie based on the story of two police officers who were trapped in the rubble on that September 11, 2001 attack. The untitled film tells the story of Port Authority police officers John McLoughlin and fellow William J. Jimeno, rescued from the collapse of the WTC. Further the film will follow their ordeals and the efforts of their rescuers.

Best-actor Oscar for "Leaving Las Vegas," Nicholas Cage is set to star in as Sgt. John McLoughlin. Paramount Pictures said the movie is expected to be released next year.

NIN Chalenges Fans 'Only' Remix

Experiencing tremendous success with the single "The Hand That Feeds," Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails once again inviting fanatics to download his band's new single, "Only," and to remix or alter it any way they choose. Both tracks are taken from NIN's "With Teeth" (Nothing/Interscope) and commenting on this, Courtney Holt, Interscope Records head of new media and strategic marketing said "This has been a great avenue for Nine Inch Nails to connect with fans."

This time the song has been opened to both Mac and PC users by posting the track in Ableton Live, Digidesign Pro Tools LE and Sony Acid Xpress/Pro in addition to Garageband. In support, Interscope has partnered with MySpace.com to create an online community site for people to upload their remixes, vote for their favorites and comment about their experiences in a blog. What's important is that opening the download file requires agreeing to a license that preserves all of the original rights.

Wanted: A Lead Singer

The onetime hit-making 1980s band INXS has inked a new deal with Epic Records. "We're very happy to be joining the Epic family and can't wait to get back into the studio to record again," so guitarist Andrew Farriss said in a press release Thursday.

To begin the new chapter, CBS has on Monday started airing Rock Star: INXS, a reality competition which is aimed to deliver the band a new singer to replace Michael Hutchence, who committed suicide in 1997. Later on, the eventual winner will perform with INXS in the live concert finale, record an album with the band and then front a subsequent INXS world tour playing more than 100 cities. The album and tour are slated for later this year.

Is Britney Expecting Twins???

Is it a good or bad news? Only Spears knows. While many rumors spread pointing at her in financial trouble, pregnant pop diva Britney Spears is reported to expecting twins. Is that true? At least that's what her spokesperson Leslie Sloane Zelnick implied by saying "If she's having twins, I have not been told that yet."

Strengthen the twins report, Lloyd Grove of the New York Daily News reported on Thursday in his "Lowdown" column that the pop princess has learned she is carrying twins, expected for this autumn deliver. So, what do you think guys?!

McCartney Creates "Chaos in the Back Yard"

Four years since his 2001's "Driving Rain," Paul McCartney is back, creating "Chaos and Creation in the Back Yard." This is his 20th solo album and slated for a September 13 release via Capitol. Acts as the co-producer of the 13-track set is McCartney himself along with Radiohead collaborator Nigel Godrich.

The "Chaos and Creation" is set to coincide with McCartney's huge 37-city "US" Tour, which happens to begin September 16. The track-listing including; "Fine Line," "How Kind Of You," "Jenny Wren," "At The Mercy," "Friends To Go," "English Tea," "Too Much Rain," "A Certain Softness," "Riding To Vanity Fair," "Follow Me," "Promise To You Girl," "This Never Happened Before," and "Anyway."

Live 8 Stars Nix Gigs

Thursday London city was shocked with the bomb that wrecked number of buildings, caused huge destruction, and killed at least 37 people while injured 700 others. The blast is believed as an al-Qaeda faction, because of which the commissioner of the Metropolitan Police requested the public not to make "unnecessary trips," and London's entertainment scene ground to a halt, with concerts canceled and the West End theater district shut down.

The blast affects the whole London as many performers of several events cancelled their performance. Since larger outdoor concerts, including anticipated Friday and Saturday shows in Hyde Park, were rescheduled, R.E.M. and Queen also nixed their gig for the Live 8, which previously was scheduled for this week. As announced by the concert organizers, Queen show, originally slated for Friday, will now happen on July 15, while R.E.M.'s planned Saturday gig will be pushed to July 16.
