The Princess is Sued

The "Princess Diaries" star Anne Hathaway is facing a lawsuit for failing to pay for a house she rented in Bahamas over New Year. James Dingman, a local real estate broker, claims the beauty has repeatedly promised to wire him the money, but his bank account has yet to be credited.

Feels cheated, Dingman is seeking $18,000 in unpaid rent for the property in Nassau, plus $2,500 for a party he alleges the actress and her boyfriend Rafaello Foliere held at the Old Fort Bay Club, in addition to $700 in expenses. Hathaway, who is shocked with the news, insisting she was only a guest at the house. Her representative adds "This guy is using her name for publicity. Her name wasn't on the lease. She was an invited guest."

Zeta-Jones Suit Over Strip Club Transferred

An October lawsuit filed by actress Catherine Zeta-Jones over a Nevada strip club, Reno-based The Spice House, for allegedly using her image for its advertising on its Web site without her permission will be transferred to a federal court there. A judge has, on Thursday, granted a change of venue request by the club owner, who claimed the club didn't have links to California.

Zeta-Jones, whose image was sometimes displayed alongside partially nude women, has felt harmed. Further, the actress felt that her displayed image could create the false impression that she "endorsed or approved of the sexually explicit content" and could "dilute the value of her celebrity endorsement." Due to that fact, she's seeking unspecified damages and an order barring further use of her likeness.

Gucci Mane Facing Murder Charge

What an unfortunate for a musician that he or she has to reluctantly halt the release of an album after being caught in a scandal. However, worse thing happens to rapper Gucci Mane.

Just days before the release of his debut album titled "Trap House," Mene is put in jail, facing a murder charge. The rapper, whose real name is Radric Davis, is accused of the May 10 shooting death of Henry Clark whose body was found in woods near a middle school. The album is actually scheduled to be released Tuesday May 24th, 2005. Yet, a publicist for Atlanta-based Big Cat Records has not yet giving comment on it.

Motley Crue Singer Joins Winemaking Venture

Have you enjoyed great wine for most of your life? Won't you yourself produce one? Well, Vince Neil wants so because he's been enjoying many and thus wants to create something other wine lovers could experience and appreciate.

The Motley Crue singer would not too much involve in the actual winemaking, rather Harry Parducci at Adler Fels Winery in Santa Rosa will produce the wine. As a beginning, Neil plans to start with 500 cases of 2003 Napa Cabernet Sauvignon and 250 cases of 2003 Sonoma Chardonnay. Those will be sold for about $20 a bottle in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Nashville and New York.

The Diva Is Recuperating, Australians Are Glad

Australians may now feel glad, as their pop diva Kylie Minogue was recuperating on Sunday after a successful breast cancer surgery at Cabrini hospital in Melbourne. Local media reported that Kylie has left the hospital on Saturday, and fans are hoping her speedy recovery.

Following the surgery, Kylie would probably undergo a course of radiotherapy, just like any other breast surgery patients would normally do. "What extra treatments are required will depend on the size of the tumor and the grade of the tumor, as in how aggressive it is, and of course whether or not there is any spread to the lymph nodes," Dr Cindy Pam, a medical commentator on Australia's Network Seven explained.

Beach Boys' Wonderful Monument

Two of its members have died and they aren't as productive as they used to be, but the legendary Beach Boys want to keep the memory of them remains in fans heart. Thus, they have on Friday unveiled a state historical landmark in California, a place where they actually come from.

Hundreds of fans joined the band's three members, Al Jardine, Brian Wilson, and David Marks, to mark the opening of the landmark, which idea is uttered by a fan of them named Harry Jarnagan. In realisation of the landmark, it eventually gained the support of the musicians themselves and local politicians.

The Record-Breaking Movie

Though has been leaked on the internet, still "Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith" makes a record. The movie has successfully becoming a record-breaking movie, grossed $124.7 million from Thursday to Saturday. Last weekend's box office champion "Monster-in-Law," to follow, slips to 2nd with $14.4 million, while soccer comedy "Kicking & Screaming" be the 3rd with $10.5 million.

"Crash" taking in $5.5 million wins the 4th place, whereas "Unleashed" grossed $3.8 million to finish fifth. The 6th to 10th are "Kingdom of Heaven" ($3.4 million); "House of Wax" ($3.2 million); "The Interpreter" ($2.8 million); "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" ($2 million); and "Mindhunters" ($909,049).

Mariah Set for the 2005 MTV Movie Awards

The 14th annual MTV Movie Awards, held June 4 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, will perform a bunch of famous singers, including Mariah Carey, Eminem, and Nine Inch Nails. Besides Jimmy Fallon, the ceremony has also listed Tom Cruise, Samuel L. Jackson, Rob Schneider, Katie Holmes, Lindsay Lohan, Johnny Knoxville, and Jessica Simpson, among its many presenters to hand the awards.

The nominees for best movie are "Kill Bill: Vol. 2," "The Incredibles," "Spider-Man 2," "Ray" and "Napoleon Dynamite." Other categories including best male and best female performances, best fight, best kiss and best frightened performance. If you guys want to know the winner of each category, better watch it on tv since it will air June 9 at 8:30 p.m. ET.
