Report claiming Tom Cruise dating Katie Holmes is true. The new couples have recently been spotted enjoying a romantic getaway in Italy, where Cruise is scheduled to receive a national award for his contribution to cinema this weekend. Furthermore, the actor's sister and publicist Lee Anne Devette has, too, confirmed the rumors of a romance are true.

McBride to Build Playground

Martina McBride will team up with the home improvement retailer "Home Depot" to build a playground near her hometown in Kansas with help from the nonprofit group KaBOOM! on Friday in Medicine Lodge. The playground, built 10 miles from her hometown of Sharon, Kansas, is planned to replace the outdated equipment in City Park and serve more than 300 children who live in the area. Describing on the project, McBride said "The City Park is the source of many happy memories for me and my family. I grew up playing on its playground, and we had countless family reunions and gatherings there."

Garland's Wizard of Oz Dress Sold for $252,000

The blue and white gingham dress wore by Judy Garland in the classic 1939 movie "The Wizard of Oz" has been sold for $252,000 at a Bonhams auction. The dress, which was one of six identical garments created for Garland for the movie, had gone to a buyer bidding by telephone who did not wish to be identified.

"Monty Python's Spamalot" Led the 50th Drama Desk

"Monty Python's Spamalot," the hit musical based on the 1975 film "Monty Python and the Holy Grail," which was written by original Python member Eric Idle and directed by Broadway veteran Mike Nichols, picked up 12 nominations on Thursday April 28, 2005, for the 50th annual Drama Desk awards. Close behind with 11 nominations was "The Light in the Piazza," an opera-like musical based on the film of the same name. "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels," to follow, garnered 10 Drama Desk nominations.

Bloom Accused of Failing to Pay Restaurant Bill

What a shame for actor Orlando Bloom to be accused of failing to settle a $760 restaurant bill, after promising to pay up in January. Yet, he did it. The film star treated his lovely girlfriend Kate Bosworth to a meal at the Casaro Amarelo restaurant in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where they'd visited to celebrate her 22nd birthday. Unfortunately, when he wanted to pay the bill, his credit card was refused.

Marlon Brando Items to Be Auctioned

More than 250 items belong to the legendary actor Marlon Brando, including his annotated script from 1972's "The Godfather" and a letter from the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., will be put up for bid by Brando's estate on June 30, 2005. Other items include a letter from Mario Puzo and many relate to Brando's interest in American Indians, like a gift of artifacts from Val Kilmer, his co-star in 1996's "The Island of Dr. Moreau."

Stefani's "Hollaback" No. 1 on Billboard's Hot 100

No Doubt singer Gwen Stefani has made a history on Billboard's Hot 100 chart as her latest single "Hollaback Girl" leaps from No. 3 to No. 1 on the chart, ends the nine-week reign of 50 Cent's "Candy Shop" featuring Olivia, which slips to number 3. The single taken from Stefani solo debut, "Love, Angel, Music, Baby" has been sold nearly 1.8 million copies in the United States with the album is on number 6 on the Billboard 200 in its 22nd week on the chart.
