Spears is Pregnant ???

March 29, 2005 07:40:13 GMT

Us Weekly and Star have reported pop princess Britney Spears is pregnant as she was spotted greedily eating a roast beef at Starbucks but avoiding coffee and cigarettes, which most pregnant women in the whole world do. Though the reports have been denied by the 23 years old star's publicist, still her physical changes raise such speculation.

People magazine, in addition, also fills in the pregnancy rumors by printing several photos showing Spears' new curves. On the contrary to all, Life & Style says the singer isn't pregnant and claims her physical changes are caused by her "bump" to mom's home cooking, which more or less the same with what Spears' publicist Leslie Sloane Zelnick tells USA TODAY that she isn't pregnant.

Applegate "Sweet Charity" Musical Concert Closes

March 29, 2005 02:17:24 GMT

Christina Applegate "Sweet Charity" musical concert has been halted due to the poor ticket sales after she was replaced by her understudy, Charlotte d'Amboise, while she was recovering from a broken foot while performing the show in Chicago, Illinois. Applegate had to withdraw from the $7.5 million production earlier this month and was expected to be back in shape to open in New York on April 18, 2005.

Because of that the show's producer Barry Weissler decided to shut it down on Sunday following its 10-day run at Boston's Colonial Theater, killing Applegate's Big Apple dreams. He says the decision to close the production, which is about unlucky-in-love dancer Charity Hope Valentine, was "painful but fiscally responsible."
