Difficult to follow, slow, mediocre acting.. definitely not one of the better movies I've seen. Maybe worth a weekend dvd watch, but that's about it.

the truth about the war in the middle east is a confusing mess - Cuba played a fantastic part in this movie. If all believe it's boring, good. That means you haven't been in the shoes of a man similar to cuba in this movie. Is there a soundtrack? I cannot find it.

Worst movie Cuba Gooding, Jr. has ever been in. He is a good actor, but this movie leaves a lot to be desired as far as plot and continuity. We watched all of it to see if it would get better, but it was one of those movies that you tell yourself: "I can't believe I sat here and watched the whole movie".

This movie is awful, what were you guys thinking? It is full of plot holes, and what's worse when the characters run out of things to say they misquote Sun Tzu. If you haven't seen it here is the plot: Cuba and three random special forces guys somehow get close to Osama, then Cuba ends up in America. In one night Cuba a) can't find a box, b) gets shot, c)wins a boxing match (while still recovering from the bullet wound), d) convinces a guy to burn down a grocery store, e) and somehow sneaks into the White House unnoticed. Waste of Time.

The movie has moments of brilliance and then you find yourself going, WTF just happened? The filming is excellent, the movie looks good, I think the script is the weakness here. Not bad though for a small budget flick.

When the 3 military fakes were waiting for the terrorists, they were talking extremely loud, telling lame jokes, and jumping around corners like they're bullet proof. Fake! Then one of the guys is holding his gun at the hip like an inexperienced moron. Hard to watch! The movie just gets worse from there. The 5 million dollar budget must have been used to play Gooding's salary! Don't rent unless it was free. Heck, I rented it for free and was mad!

ok, just sat through this, and I have no idea what I just watched... What's the conspiracy? How exactly is he trying to expose it? Acting was decent, but the plot made absolutely no sense whatsoever.

This is the most confusing movie I have ever watched. The trailer puts the film in a different order, which probably would have made more sense. However, even after the supposed explanation of the conspiracy, you still don't know what in the world happened, what Cuba's character was looking for, or who the villain was. This film doesn't even deserve the 1 star.

Who the hell is John Carter,Dave Pomier, Scott Schafer, and Richard Salvatore? Is Cuba trying to end his career? I wouldn't even do this movie, and I am not even an actor. Confusing: Who editted this story? The plot,if there is one was lost in the first 10 minutes of the movie. If you could call this a movie. No time spent on any character development. Not even Cuba's character. The real film that should have been probably is still on the floor in the editing room. The military parts were unrealistic. I've seen children play war more believable than that. In closing.....WTF?

So for a while I was thinking hey this could be a good movie, until my roommate and I didn't know what we were watching and what was happening?? WTF is the point of jumping around so much during the movie with no plot visable?

I want the 87 mins of my life back. This was by far one of the worst movies I have ever seen. I would rather watch barney and friends than endure the pain of this hellacious movie!!!! I would never, ever, recommend this movie to anyone.

Go buy a cheeseburger instead of renting this movie. At the end of the day you will feel better and more accomplished.

Good God, That was obviously directed by a teenage trust fund little kid. No acting was involved. I kept thinking how could a good actor like cuba sit through this movie acting? He was in the worst movie of all time...!!! WTF

I fell into Cuba jr's character and still haven't come out, this movie made me vomit in my mouth and poop my pants due to bad acting and soundtrack. I personally like bad movies, but just to think there are human beings that would film and release such a monstrosity is worrisome. I do like those special dorks and there tactics and coolness being the only three choads against the Ace of Spades.

If I sat in my room alone and picked my nose for 87 minutes I would have felt more fulfilled...and that would be true even if I came up empty. I was WAY more entertained by the comments made here than I was by watching the "movie."

Fake action scenes throughout. What was his 'primary' objective? Why did the secretary of defense spend his nights in an underground boxing ring? Why was he killed? Why were they trying to kill cuba? Why did they kill his girlfriend? What was the conspiracy? What was the truth he had to expose? Whoever wrote this should be strung up by their toes and shot.

I have never gone online to read reviews on a movie and well I come to find out that Im not the only one that doesn't know WTF this movie is about. I also agree with every one that left one star, but everyone else that left more than that well I think they were waching something else.

Made no sense, I thought maybe the flash backs would finally fill me in, No. Bad acting - Stalking a prey and talking loudly among themselves, then hearing something and jumping around a corner - then continue to talk loudly. In the end I still have no idea what this movie is about. Long monologues that tell nothing !

The action scenes consist of three guys going on wiht war cliches and a stage hand blowing off firecrackers in the background. Look through, most people give this one star. Some however give it more, and the them I ask "are you the idiots who still approve of George Bush?" Some substantial portion of the population are aparently borderline retarded. Its not just that the movie didn't make sense (that's true) its that it didn't make sense the way a four year old child doesn't make sense. The acting was also awful. I wouldn't spring for the matches to burn this piece of rubish.

One of the worst movies I've seen. Aside from the unoriginal plot and lines ripped from other movies (including Batman Begins), the storytelling was confusing and obfiscated. I'm all for subtlety and clever techniques - provided they work - and in 'Way' they don't. I honestly thought my DVD must've been a pirate with half the movie missing.

i rented this movie expecting to get an hour and a half of good entertainment since Cuba Gooding Jr. was the main character of this movie. Unfortunately I had to realize that the story to this movie was one of the most boring stories I have ever seen. I had to stop the movie half way through because I couldn't take it anymore. It's very disappointing to see such a bad performance from a good actor as Cuba Gooding Jr. I hope he will read the script to his next movie before he decides to take the role.

Oh my god. Horrible. Not only did they obviously do this as cheap as friggin' possible, but their story was even worse than the budget. I could have even overlooked the cheapness of it if the story was good, but the story was so monstrous, that I still can't figure out which is worse. I still love how the convenience store clerk is just like "Okay, I'll torch my store". Sure he only knew him for all of 30 seconds, but, no problem, I'll destroy my livelihood with no backround on you. I kept waiting to figure out what the hell was going on in this movie and who the bad guys were. by the time it ended i had spent the entire movie going huh what i dont get it and what the hell is this about. Now instead of being entertained before i go to bed i get to be completely confused and disapointed. Ill probably have dream of being on a mission where i have to find something that does something to make me find something else so i can get something...I know right thats what the movie was you read that and your were like WTF that makes no sense. Horrible move.

worst dam movie ever. the old guy (dad from juno) was the worst portrayal of a soldier ive ever seen. he held his weapon like a 10 year old girl would. i usually love these types of movies but this movie unsuccessfully attempted to differentiate itself by having a purposefully complex plot. only problem is that this is not a good enough plot to warrant such forceful ambiguity. Cuba had his good and bad moments. good: interactions with the chick. bad: sitting in the restaurant with Mac before going down to the cellar. his acting in this scene was, well just annoying how horrible he was.

I've been googling to find out WTF this movie is about longer than it took to watch it. What is a hero without a villian? I don't know!!! Fuck. I overlooked the bad acting, the low budget, the lack of tit sceens that should acompany all B-movies, in hopes that at the end this piece of shit would make sense...nope. This readers review section is more entertaining and fullfilling than the movie. I want my money and my star back!

Even a boring documentary is more interesting than this "movie". A lot of scenes were totally unrealistic and I could't watch more than half of the movie without falling asleep. How can anyone rate this movie more that one star?
