Patrick Stewart Rebuilding Venice

Also known as a prolific stage actor, Patrick Stewart is now setting his eyes to develop a new big screen version of William Shakespeare's famous play "The Merchant of Venice", the man himself has revealed to The Argus.
Intended to be a modern take of the drama, the project will be set in Las Vegas in the 20th century with its script being penned by John Logan, known for his writing works in a number of Hollywood hits like "The Last Samurai" and "The Aviator." It is learned that the idea came out of an argument the two had after Logan described it as a "loathsome play".

TrekWeb and PatrickStewart.org have both revealed that Patrick Stewart is lending his recognizable voice to the flick as Max Winters, an insane tech-industrialist who determines to reach his ambitious goal of world conquest by amassing an army of ancient monsters.
Scheduled to hit theaters on March 30, 2007, "Turtles" is the first all CG animated movie in the history of the franchise produced by Imagi Animation Studios with Kevin Munroe at helm. It sees our separated quartet reunite to once again battle their enemies with the help of old allies April O'Neil and Casey Jones under the guidance of their rat sensei Master Splinter.
Courtney Love Signs Up to be Part of Amnesty International Campaign

It seems that there will always something new from Courtney Love. Following plans to release a memoir, the beauty brings another surprise by joining a high profile Amnesty International campaign, which aims to raise awareness on human rights.
Love reportedly has agreed to take her place amongst 100 celebrities who were photographed holding signs displaying candid slogans such as 'Torture is Terror' and 'Stop Violence Against Women'. Aside from her, there are also Patrick Stewart and Christian Slater who both joining the campaign as well.
"X-Men: The Official Game" Will Be Released Soon

"Superman Returns: The Videogame" will soon hit the market, on June 26th to be exact. But prior to the release of the set, "X-Men: The Official Game" will be released earlier on May 16th, ten days before "X-Men: The Last Stand" hits worldwide theater.
And to make sure the game remains true to the movie version, not only it will include the likenesses and voices of several stars from the action drama fantasy flick, but it brings in too the screenwriter from the film. Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Alan Cumming and Shawn Ashmore will all reprise their film roles.
