Emma Bunton on Crutches, Spice Girls' Concert in Doubt
December 14, 2007 12:12:19Emma Bunton of the Spice Girls had injured her ankle, sending the band to pull out of a TV special which is part of the group's reunion schedule. The 'Baby Spice' twisted the ankle while performing on-stage on the last show at Las Vegas' Mandalay Bay Events Center.
They were slated to appear on BBC's Strictly Come Dancing on Saturday, December 15 to mark the beginning of the U.K. leg of their tour. The performance at London's O2 which is scheduled at the same night is still in doubt although Bunton said yesterday, "I'm sure to make a speedy recovery, so see you all at The O2 arena!".

Baby Spice is now a mother. Emma Bunton, the former Spice Girl, gave birth to a baby boy Friday August 10th.
The newlyborn, named Beau, was born at London's Portland Hospital at 11:12 a.m. and weighed a healthy 7 lbs., 15oz, the singer's representative Alan Edwards said in a statement.

Rumors circulating on the reunion of Spice Girls have been going out too long as each of its former members gave different speculations at individual times. This time, the reunion is made official by the one member who kept denying it since the very beginning, Melanie C.
After a long-term persuasion from the band's manager Simon Fuller, Mel C finally agrees to reform and perform with the group again. Before her, Fuller has talked Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton into this reunion. The other two Melanie Brown and Victoria Adams are also reported in support of this. A reunion has been planned, but it won't happen, not now at least. Spice Girls' former manager, Simon Fuller says the girls group has planned to return to the industry "with a big bang," which will include a world tour. Unfortunately, the reunion plan is blocked by Melanie C's reluctance.
"All of the girls are up for it and the reunion will definitely happen in the next 18 months. The only person showing any reluctance is Mel C. She thinks her solo career is bigger than the band, which is just not the case. She needs to wise up and realize a reunion would be amazing for everybody concerned," Fuller said.
