was en-route to the hospital over the weekend. The famous comedian was hospitalized in a San Francisco emergency room Saturday July 14th and was released a few hours later, his publicist has confirmed.

Exhaustion and dehydration cited as the reasons for the hospitalization. No other details have been released but his publicist makes sure that Chappelle is fine, saying "It was exhaustion; he had been traveling. He's fine."

Comedian would probably feel it difficult for him to laugh or even make others laugh as he's facing a breach-of-contact suit filed by Mustafa Abuelhija who claimed to be his personal manager September 2004 until he was fired in June of this year. In his lawsuit filed in New York federal court Abuelhija claimed Chappelle owes him more than $864,500.

On his complaint Abuelhija alleged that he has helped to broker deals that earned the comic at least $10 million. But, shortly after his return from South Africa last June, the comic immediately told Abuelhija that his services would no longer be needed and dismissed him with only a "paltry $40,000 as an 'advance' against the sum" that Abuelhija claimed he was owed.

The show must go on and so "Chappelle's Show" returns to TV without the star himself . The Comedy Central network announced Monday that it will air more episodes of the hit cable series next year using footage shot before Dave abandoned the production in May.

The decision to air the never-before-seen sketches, however, provoked the assumption that Dave won't ever return to complete the third season of the series. "We have to do this because we have no idea what the future foretells," the network's president, Doug Herzog, said. "He hasn't been able to articulate what he would like to do, so we're moving forward."

At last, ending the many-sparked rumors about the end of 's show dubbed "Chappelle's Show," the comedian's collaborator Charlie Murphy confirmed the hit comedy show would never return to TV screens. According to one of the stars of Chappelle's Show, Charlie Murphy, is likely to put an end to the famous show. "`Chappelle's Show' is over, man. Done," Murphy said. "It took me a long time to be able to say those words, but I can say it pretty easy now, because it's the truth."

Commenting on recent reports saying he's gone under psych treatment in South Africa, comedian Dave Chappelle claims those are wrong. In his interview with Time magazine, Chappelle said he's staying with friends there, as he takes a break after being unhappy with the direction of his Comedy Central show.

In his further explanation he said "I'm a difficult kind of dude....I have trust issues. There were some things about myself that I didn't like. People got to take inventory from time to time. That's what this [coming to South Africa] is for." On top of that, the star even insisted "I'm not crazy. I'm not smoking crack. I'm definitely stressed out."

And while many people questioning on the reason why, comedian Dave Chappelle has now reportedly checked himself into a mental health in South Africa. Per Entertainment Weekly magazine report, the star flew from Newark, New Jersey, to Capetown, South Africa, on April 28 to seek treatment.

The show's cancellation seems to affect Chappelle so much for many of his friends utter different theories speculating on the postponment and his absence. Yet, Chappelle's publicist, Matt Labov, has not publicly commented since Chappelle disappeared.

The highly anticipated third season of hit US comedy series "Chappelle's Show" has been postponed, Comedy Central said in a surprise announcement Wednesday. "Comedy Central has suspended production on the third season of "Chappelle's Show" until further notice," network spokesman Tony Fox said in a brief statement. However, "all parties are optimistic that production will resume in the near future."

There was no comment from Comedy Central nor comedian Dave Chappelle's spokesperson about the reason for the postponement nor how long the postponement may last.
