AceShowbiz - The Rock the Country tour is reducing ticket prices after facing several difficulties. The event features artists such as Kid Rock, Jason Aldean, Jelly Roll, Blake Shelton, Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Staind, among others, rotating through various stops.
Organizers released a statement to fans explaining the price reductions, saying, "Fuel costs are up and we want to help! In response to rising transportation costs, you can enjoy up to 50% off general admission passes to any of 7 small town stops for a limited time only." They encouraged attendees to take advantage of the offer and join the tour this summer.
In addition to the ticket price cuts, the tour announced that Jelly Roll will no longer perform at the Sioux Falls, South Dakota show scheduled for June 28. In his place, Staind will appear. However, Jelly Roll will still be part of the lineup in Bloomingdale, Georgia, and Ashland, Kentucky. The tour also added Miranda Lambert and Jon Pardi to the bill for the Ocala, Florida shows on August 28 and 29.
While the tour itself does not explicitly promote a political agenda, many of its headliners, such as Kid Rock, Staind, Gavin Adcock, and Hank Williams Jr., are outspoken supporters of the Trump administration. The roster has seen several changes since its initial announcement, with artists like Morgan Wade, Carter Faith, Ludacris, and Shinedown dropping out. The Anderson, South Carolina stop was removed from the schedule after Shinedown exited the tour.
