The RnB icon gears up for a busy 2024, reuniting with WME and releasing two highly anticipated albums, an RnB record titled 'MDA' and a country album titled 'Open Roads'.

AceShowbiz - Monica is embarking on a whirlwind year, preparing to share her first full-length albums since 2015's "Code Red". To compensate for the lost time, she has scheduled the release of not one but two albums before the end of 2024.

One of her upcoming projects is a country album titled "Open Roads", as reported by Variety. Americana musician Brandi Carlile, known for producing albums for Joni Mitchell, Tanya Tucker and others, will executive produce it. Inspired by Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers, Monica has been working on this country album since at least 2021, collaborating with Little Big Town on Jimmie Allen's "Pray".

Monica's second project, an R&B record, has been retitled "MDA", presumably after her initials, Monica Denise Arnold. The album was previously known as "Trenches". Both "MDA" and "Open Roads" are now confirmed to be finished.

In addition to her forthcoming releases, Monica has recently reunited with WME, the talent agency she began her career with nearly three decades ago. Together, they aim to explore new opportunities and capitalize on her past and present brand presence.

Monica's highly anticipated albums have been a long time coming. Fans have been eagerly awaiting her ninth studio album since "Code Red". With two diverse projects on the horizon, Monica is poised for a remarkable comeback in 2024.
