To mark what would have been his co-star's 68th birthday, John Stamos posts a never-before-seen picture of the 'Full House' cast gathering for the late comedian's funeral.

AceShowbiz - Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen were there to honor Bob Saget despite their lack of public appearance. The twins, who have been going low-key for years, have just been revealed to have reunited with their "Full House" cast for the late actor's funeral back in 2022.

It's John Stamos who shared a rare photo of the Olsen twins with the cast of the popular sitcom. On what would have been Bob's 68th birthday, the Jesse Katsopolis depicter posted the black-and-white image on his Instagram page on Friday, May 17.

In the caption, he paid tribute to his late co-star as writing, "Happy Birthday Bob." He then explained the image, "This was taken as we gathered for his funeral. Though Bob wasn't there physically, his spirit was unmistakably present, wrapping us in warmth and shared memories that drew both laughter and tears."

"That day, each of us felt the weight of his absence and the strength of the bond he nurtured among us," the 60-year-old continued. "Bob was the heart of our 'Full House' family. His legacy of kindness and compassion was evident in the faces around me, (on Dumbo) in the gentle ways we supported one another, echoing the love he always extended. We celebrated a life that was a true gift to us all."

"Bob, you are with us in every joke we share and every hug we give. Rest in peace, dear friend. Your family misses you more than words can say," he concluded his poignant message.

On the same day, Bob's widow Kelly Rizzo remembered him on her own Instagram page. Sharing a throwback video of her late husband on what seemed to be one of his birthdays, she captioned it, "Forever celebrated, forever loved, forever remembered, forever in all of our hearts. Happy Birthday. Forever grateful for these memories, and this last birthday celebration together. Forever happy I got to see a smile on his face and happiness in his eyes. Look at how happy he was."

"I will tell you a cute story about this night," she continued. "See the little band-aid on his arm? During dinner he got a mosquito bite and kept scratching it until it bled... so he went up to the front desk and like four different restaurant workers frantically got him a Band-Aid and they all put the Band-Aid on him as if they were performing surgery-and it caused such a scene- and he came back to the table with this little Band-Aid and we both laughed because it was so silly."

Bob died suddenly at a Ritz-Carlton hotel near Williamsburg in Orange County, Florida on January 9, 2022. An autopsy report found that he had blunt head trauma from an accidental blow to the back of his head, most likely from a fall, and had subsequently died from the resulting injuries (subdural hematoma and subarachnoid hemorrhage) in his sleep. His funeral took place on January 14.
