Los Angeles Fire Department fails to identify cause of blaze after weeks of investigation due to the extensive damage at the actress/model's 6,650-square-foot mansion.

AceShowbiz - Cara Delevingne's devastating L.A. house fire has left the LAFP perplexed. Despite their best efforts to find the cause of the blaze, they have officially ruled the cause undetermined, leaving it a mystery to the model and all curious fans.

After weeks of investigation, the Los Angeles Fire Department officials say they can't pinpoint the exact origin and cause of the blaze. According to TMZ, the officials took on the house fire investigation as standard procedure, but it's hard to determine the case due to the extensive damage.

With no witnesses and a lack of forensic evidence, investigators hit a dead end. The case has officially been closed with no clear answers, but they make it clear that foul play was never suspected.

Cara's L.A.-area mansion was ravaged by fire in the early hours of March 15. The 6,650-square-foot mansion suffered extensive damage, and one room completely collapsed. The fire started around 4 A.M. local time near the back of the property. High winds are believed to have contributed to the flames spreading rapidly to the attic.

The "Suicide Squad" actress was not home as she had been performing in "Cabaret" in London. Her parents, meanwhile, have shared their own theory about the house fire, blaming a rogue powerline that had gotten out of control due to windy conditions. "Power lines," Charles Delevingne told a videographer, "Very windy there."

Cara's mother Pandora added that her daughter was heartbroken over the loss of her home, which she considered her "base." The mother said, "She had everything in her house-her whole life. She built it. She made it."

Following the incident, Cara took to Instagram to share her devastation. She wrote, "My heart is broken today... I cannot believe it. Life can change in the blink of an eye. So cherish what you have." One occupant who was staying at the residence was treated for smoke inhalation, while her cats, which were initially feared dead, were later found alive and well, thanks to the efforts of firefighters.
