AceShowbiz - Playoffs round continued in the Tuesday, November 28 episode of "The Voice" season 24. In the Part 3 of Playoffs, Team John Legend hit the stage in the hope of impressing the coaches, including Niall Horan, Gwen Stefani and Reba McEntire. A Super-Save contestant would also join John's other singers.
Kicking off the night was AZAN, who turned out to be John's Super-Save. She opted for "Adorn" by Miguel which brought John on his feet. Reba was blown away by her stage presence, while Niall complimented AZAN's "tasteful" vocal runs. Gwen thought her performance was "sexy and swaggy." John also raved about her, saying, "You are formidable, undeniable, a real talent."
Later, Kristen Brown followed it up with her rendition of "Needs You Now" by Lady A (formerly Lady Antebellum). Niall praised Kristen for the perfect song choice and her breath control. Gwen, meanwhile, regretted letting Kristen go, saying, "I'm so stupid." Reba said that "all the country folks" would be proud of her.
Up next, Kaylee Shimizu belted out "Put a Move on My Heart" by Quincy Jones ft Tamia. Kaylee wowed Reba with her range as the judge said, "You are destined for stardom." Niall raved about how Kaylee nailed any song, while John was in disbelief that Kaylee had such depth and range in her voice despite her young age.
Taylor Deneen, meanwhile, hit the stage to sing "Get Here" by Oleta Adams. Reba praised Taylor for her voice, adding that John would have a hard time making a decision. Gwen was also in love with Taylor's unique and recognizable tone. John said that Taylor was elegant and amazing.
Singing "Angel from Montgomery" by John Prine/Bonnie Raitt was Lila Forde. It was so great that Niall asked the producers if he could steal Lila. "You are one of my favorite acts on 'The Voice'," Niall told Lila. Reba said that Lila was a complete package, while John praised her runs which made her sound classic yet modern at the same time.
For the final performance that night, Mac Royals sang "Untitled (How Does it Feel)" by De'Angelo. Gwen called Mac a star, telling host Carson Daly, "That is a star standing next to you, Carson." Niall thought Mac had "tasteful" musical instinct. John, meanwhile, said, "I'm ready to hear a Mac record right now."
For the results, Mac Royals was named as the first artist to be sent to the next round. Joining him in Live Shows was Lila Forde. Meanwhile, the last spot went to AZAN.
