Rachel McAdams and Michelle Williams ooze glamor in their black outfits, as Leonardo DiCaprio hits the red carpet with Lily Gladstone, and Bradley Cooper pairs up with Carey Mulligan.

AceShowbiz - Gotham Awards is back for its 33rd annual ceremony. Ushering in award season by spotlighting independent films, the event took place at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City on Monday, November 27, with a number of A-listers in attendance.

Stealing the spotlight on the red carpet were Natalie Portman and Penelope Cruz among others. The "Thor: Love and Thunder" actress, who has been going through rough patches in her marriage, arrived solo and looked lovely in a floral tea-length dress teamed with silver heels.

Portman was there to represent her new film "May December", which she starred in and produced. It earned Samy Burch a nod for Best Screenplay and Charles Melton a nomination for Outstanding Supporting Performance.

Cruz, who was nominated in the same category as Melton for her role in Ferrari, was also dressed to impress in a long, semi-sheer white gown which clung onto her voluptuous figure. She completed her look with a black clutch, matching pumps and statement earrings that peeked out behind her voluminous curls.

Oozing classic glamor in black outfits were the likes of Rachel McAdams, Michelle Williams, Margot Robbie and Teyana Taylor. McAdams, who was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Performance for her role in "Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret.", went daring in a ribbed black gown with a plunging keyhole cut-out on the chest area.

Williams, who was up for Outstanding Lead Performance, wowed in a striking black gown, which featured a low-cut neckline and was adorned with an intricate floral design across her chest. She added a pearl and gold necklace and a large ring for an extra touch of glamor.

"Barbie" star Margot made a rare red carpet appearance with her husband Tom Ackerley. She opted for a black, tea-length dress that featured a form-fitting frock under a semi-sheer cape with a bow across her neck. The Australian beauty accessorized her chic ensemble with a metallic clutch, open-toed heels, pearl earrings and a pair of leather gloves.

While Margot brought her real-life partner to the award show, some others decided to pair up with their on-screen spouses. Leonardo DiCaprio, for example, posed on the red carpet with his "Killers of the Flower Moon" co-star Lily Gladstone. Meanwhile, Bradley Cooper hit the red carpet with his "Maestro" co-star Carey Mulligan.
