The 'Dead to Me' star is honored by her former 'Married... With Children' co-stars Katey Sagal and David Faustino as she accepts her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

AceShowbiz - Christina Applegate has made her first official public appearance since revealing her multiple sclerosis diagnosis. The actress got emotional as she accepted her star at Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony on Monday, November 14.

The Emmy winner, who went barefoot for the event, was assisted to the podium by her friend Katey Sagal and a cane. "It's so Katey to, like, steal the thunder," she quipped about her former "Married... With Children" co-star as she assured the audience that she needed her friend by her side.

"I can't stand for too long, so I'm gonna thank the people that I really need to thank," she said, before acknowledging her family and agent. She broke down in tears while talking about her daughter Sadie Grace, whom she shares with husband Martyn LeNoble, and thanking her for supporting her through her MS battle.

"The most important person in this world is my daughter," the 50-year-old said. "You are so much more than even you know. You are so beautiful and kind and smart and interesting. I'm blessed every day that I get to wake up and take you to school...thank you for standing by me through all of this."

Christina then turned back to the audience, saying, "Oh and by the way: I have a disease. Did you not notice? I'm not even wearing shoes. You're supposed to laugh at that."

Christina also made a statement with her nails, taking aim at multiple sclerosis with a manicure reading, "FU MS" before dipping them in the cement to seal her place on the Walk of Fame.

Before Christina took the stage, she was honored by Katey and another "Married... With Children" alum, David Faustino. Katey choked up when she told the honoree, "You're not alone. We're all here." The former "Sons of Anarchy" star added, "You bend but don't break. Your humility and irreverence allows all of us to bend with you."

"Dead to Me" creator Liz Feldman and star Linda Cardellini were also on hand to pay tribute to Christina.

Christina was originally set to receive her star on the Walk of Fame in 2020, but the pandemic delayed the ceremony. In 2021, she announced her MS diagnosis amid production on the third and final season of her Netflix comedy "Dead to Me". She recently said that the show might be her last acting role due to her MS battle.
