AceShowbiz - YK Osiris has joined the money challenge, only to be reminded of his debt. Shortly after declaring that he is "debt free," the "Leave Me On Read" singer remembered that he still owes Young Thug some money.
Taking to his Instagram account on Wednesday, January 27, the 23-year-old rapper posted a photo of him sitting on the floor with some money near him forming words that read, "DEBT FREE." In the caption, he wrote, "[middle finger emojis] you N***as better stop playing with my name."
Not stopping there, YK Osiris also turned to his Instagram Story to show off some cash. In a separate Story, the "Worth It" crooner wrote over a dark background, "U n***as better stop," adding a raised hand emoji.
Just minutes after declaring that he has no money issue, YK Osiris, who lately made headlines due to his financial troubles which involved several famous names like Drake, Lil Baby as well as Boosie Badazz (Lil Boosie), posted another Story, in which he admitted that he still owes Young Thug money. He penned, "Damn I think I owe @thuggerthugger1 [man facepalming emoji and rolling on the floor laughing emoji]." The "Bubbly" rapper also reposted YK Osiris' Story on his own account.
The money challenge was started last week. Among hip-hop stars who participated in the challenge was NBA YoungBoy a.k.a. YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Lil Durk, Future as well as City Girls member Yung Miami. After the challenge went viral, Nick Cannon and Wiz Khalifa warned people that the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) was watching.
"IRS Watchin," Nick spelled out in the toilet paper. Wiz shared a similarly ominous message on Twitter, seeming to echo Nick's sentiments. "Don't go broke tryna count that money on tha floor," the "Black and Yellow" rapper penned.
Additionally, Fat Joe shared a similar message for those participating in the challenge. "I dare you to look down my Instagram, or anywhere on social media, and see if Fat Joe has ever pulled out a one hundred dollar bill," he began.
"And then these people, when they get caught, you told on yourself," Fat Joe continued. The rapper got louder and declared, "You ain't never had a legit job in your life. You are writing your names with mountains of money. F**k is wrong with you?!"
