'The Voice' Recap: Live Shows Kicks Off with a Bang

In a new episode of the NBC singing competition show, Live Shows kick off as singers from each coach's team take to the stage to try to impress voters at home.

AceShowbiz - The highly-anticipated Live Shows of "The Voice" season 14 is finally here! In the Monday, November 8 episode of the NBC show, Live Shows kicked off as singers from each coach's team took to the stage to try to impress voters at home.

Girl Named Tom from Team Kelly Clarkson was the first performer of the night. She belted out Radiohead's "Creep". Kelly praised her for the drama in the performance, while John Legend loved the harmonies. Later, Katie Rae sang "Stormy Weather" and Ariana Grande felt that it was one of her favorite performances from Katie so far.

Singing "Say Something" by A Great Big World and Christina Aguilera was Gymani. She gave an interesting twist to his performance which made all four coaches on their feet for the first time tonight. Kelly was even on the verge of tears.

As for Jeremy Rosado, he sang "When I Was Your Man" by Bruno Mars. It was a solid performance and he even got a standing ovation from the coaches. John loves Jeremy's heart, energy and spirit, while Kelly named Jerry as one of her favorite storytellers this season. Hailey Mia rounded out performances from Team Kelly, singing "Traitor" by Olivia Rodrigo.

Team John kicked off with a performance by Shadale, who sang "Love on the Brain" by Rihanna. She got a standing ovation from the coaches with Blake Shelton saying that she was the first person tonight who clearly came here to "win the damn thing."

Joshua Vacanti later took the stage to sing "You and I" by Lady GaGa. John noted that he loved Joshua's theatricality and his "stunning video." As for Jershika Maple, he performed "Beggin' " by Maneskin. John called her "phenomenal."

The next singer from Team John to perform was Samuel Harness with "So Sick" by Ne-Yo. Later, David Vogel sang "Slow Burn" by Kacey Musgraves. John praised David, calling him a great musician.

Following it up were singers from Team Ariana. Raquel Trinidad sang "Don't Know Why" by Norah Jones and Ariana was totally blown away by the performance. Jim and Sasha Allen performed "Hey Jude" by The Beatles, before Ryleigh Plank sang "I'm Your Baby Tonight" by Whitney Houston. Holly Forbes concluded Team Ariana's performances by singing "Torn" by Natalie Imbruglia.

As for Team Blake, it started with Peedy Chavis who belted out "Proud Mary" by Creedence Clearwater Revival. Following it up was Libianca, who sang "Woman" by Doja Cat. The performance earned a standing ovation from the coaches.

Paris Winningham later took the stage to sing "I Wish It Would Rain" by The Temptations and she also got a standing ovation from the coaches. Lana Scott followed it up with a performance of "Next Girl" by Carly Pearce. Closing out the night was Team Blake's Wendy Moten, who sang "I Will Always Love You" by Whitney Houston/Dolly Parton. Kelly was convinced that Wendy would be among the finalist.

The results will be announced in tomorrow's episode.
