Jenna, meanwhile, took to her own Instagram page to let out a photo of Naya from the Ryan Murphy-created series. She captioned it, "Always a light, always with us. My heart is with you and your family today. love you Nougs." Kevin also posted an image of the Santana Lopez depicter and wrote, "I miss you. Every single day."
Also offering heartfelt tributes to Naya were other former "Glee" cast members Matthew Morrison, Chris Colfer and Amber Riley. While the two actors put out pictures of the late actress, Amber uploaded one snap of the ex-wife of Ryan Dorsey and their son Josey. "I miss and love you," so read the caption of Amber's post.
Naya passed away on July 8, 2020 at the age of 33 after she accidentally drowned at Lake Piru in Southern California. At that time, she was taking a boat trip with her son Josey, who was found sleeping alone while she had already vanished. Her body was found five days after the incident happened. Authorities believed that she died after saving her only child.
